LOUSY SERVICE!! At first, they were great. That quickly changed after I made my purchase. I bought a gun, I asked them about the magazine (it's not kept with the gun), they told me it was in the back room. Waited my 10 days, picked up the gun, and they couldn't find the magazine. They told me they would make it right by getting a magazine and mailing it to me. I called at least 5 times over 3 months' time and they said they hadn't found one and were still looking for it. They said they would call when they got one. Nothing but radio silence. Left them messages. No response. I've seen the magazine for sale online and I thought, if I can find it, why haven't they sent me mine? Well, they have my money for the gun, so why bother with a magazine? I got my Zastava AK-47 from Jesse and I did the order through their website simply and easy did the transfer to my FFL Reynolds Ranch and farm in Red Bluff Ca and took a few days over the Memorial day weekend and the process was easy a little slow on the emailing back and fourth but I can say they were answered . Several weeks ago I went to purchase my first firearm. I completed all the necessary documents. Several days later I received a call stating I couldn't purchase the firearm because of a misdemeanor on my record from 9 years ago. My issue is they should have been more transparent regarding their fee if a person is denied a permit. They literally kept 50% of what the gun I purchased cost. Roughly $480.00. If they kept $150 I would understand. It not like that $960 dollar Glock wouldn't get sold. You can argue it was in the fine print, which a person needs a magnifying glass to read. But, truly, it's just good business to be more open and communicative. read more

Drove all the way from San Mateo and it was totally worth it. Called in for a PPT with Dallas and had a fantastic experience. From walking in to walking out everything was effortless and I really appreciate the patience, time and care that went to into something that won't be profitable. Below are the experiences I have had in the three times I have been here. Have reached out to owner but no response to this Following are my 3 experiences in my 3 visits. UPDATE 12/30/23: Spoke with owner and Eric. Decent people. Taygen accepts no responsibility for her actions. Javier is no longer with the company. 1) Taygen will give you her number for "20 roses". More than that if you buy your weapons through her exclusively, and not the more knowledgeable sales staff. She also brags how she ruined careers of various Sgt's and Supervisors in the AF before she left because she "prefers older men" and "it was fun". USAF Vet here, so not impressed by this or the lack of knowledge on any of the weapons. Had to tell her to stop several times and that I just was here to buy the handgun and noting else. Please keep it professional. 2) Paperwork was messed up on CGE'S end (Taygens filing). 2 weeks after taking my first pistol from here home, I was informed it was registered to the wrong person. So I had to go back in and resign paperwork as well as provide proof of residence. What would of happened if CA law enforcement ran the weapon while in my possession? UPDATE on the following: Javier is no longer with the company 3) Javier rang me up for an Anderson Lower. Javier said I was riding my previous DROS application so everything was good to go. Came in to purchase the remainder of the weapon and pick up the lower. Was informed it was not put under my name, despite having paid for it weeks prior. At no point was I informed in the previous 2 weeks anything was needed. Was then informed I had to wait 10 more days and would have to do all the paperwork. Canceled my order instead Max is knowledgeable and is squared away. If I come back I would prefer to deal with him exclusively. However, After 3 bad experiences, over 3 visits, combined with sexual solicitation from someone could not take a hint i was not interested, I may only be buying ammo here moving forward. read more

Nice clean local gun shop that offered a good selection of weapons and great service. As a retired LE professional and Veteran I'm familiar with weaponry but no expert or gun guy. I went with a family friend who has no experience with weapons but has started the concealed carry process. Michelle was behind the counter and was phenomenal. Rare combo of knowledge and humility. Called in a few days prior to taking my rifle in to sell, and confirmed with the rep on phone it was something they were interested in. Spoke to one of the reps there who appraised my rifle but could not buy it due to the manager not being there. No problem! Waited a week no reply. Tried calling them to follow up but no one picked up the phone. Reached out to them on Instagram but no one responded even though they read my messages. Gave up after 2 weeks of trying. Folks there seemed to be nice. Appears to have some inventory. They wanted to sell me a nice revolver and explained all the details on it. I'll give them credit for that. However, the experience I had in terms of selling my rifle was not one anyone should experience. They could've said no they weren't interested. Too much follow up on my part with zero end results. Glad there are other shops around that is more forthcoming when it involves selling a rifle to a shop. read more

If you would like to purchase a gun, do not buy it online from them. I suggest definitely go in person to check it out first. I made the mistake of buying a gun from them online and regret it. I purchased the gun online and went in to do the paperwork. I checked the gun and noticed some brown spots, so I was like what is that. The rep was like it is just dirt, you can just clean it with clp. Being a newbie, I went with it. So a week after I got the gun, I tried to clean off the spots...and guess what, the spots do not come off at all! I googled to see how it can be cleaned or if it is normal. Ppl online were saying it needs to be refinished, so I emailed the gun manufacturer. The manufacturer replied back saying it is absolutely NOT normal, so I have to send my gun in to get it refinished. The two stars are for Dallas for being attentive and helpful. He was not the guy that told me the spots were just dirt. Tbh...I will not come back. There are better places with better customer service and have well maintained guns. This was such a hassle that they sold me a bad gun (knowing it was bad!). read more
