From the moment you step inside, the room feels cinematic, warmly lit, artfully layered, and unmistakably Aspen in the way visitors hope Aspen will be.the space feel less like a restaurant and more like stepping into a painting. The service is impeccable. Staff move through the dining room with confidence and intuition, striking that elusive balance between polished professionalism and genuine warmth. Nothing feels rushed, nothing feels overlooked. Not every dish justifies its ambitious pricing, but the restaurant understands the importance of signature indulgences. The pistachio martini is memorable without gimmick. while the escargot stands out as one of the menu's most successful nods to classic French decadence. Ultimately, this is less a place to dissect course by course and more a place to experience. It captures the romanticized version of Aspen people travel here searching for elegant, decadent, a little theatrical, and undeniably beautiful.

The staff was so accommodating and welcoming even when we didn't have reservations. For food, we got the fondue for the table with potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower, apples, schnitzel, and crusty bread. The cocktail we got was called the Pink Panther and it was not only beautiful, but also delicious. It was such a fun dinner experience. The entrees looked amazing and the menu was vast. Overall, I'd go back here in a heartbeat, it was fantastic!

I got the Above Zero cocktail [patron blanco and reposado tequila, grove street cranberry, ancho reyes verde, cointreau lime, cardamom bitters] -- it's a great sipper over an evening chat with the gals. My friend got the Pistachio Martini and said it was "so smooth, so creamy, so good". The Law Dog was good but nothing out-of-the-ordinary-exquisite about it. Great ambiance, service, & lighting for a cocktail or a bite to eat. *nut allergen friendly - ALWAYS uses separate shakers. *22% service charge on all cheques.

The place has plenty of history and has been a social spot in Aspen for generations. The Old West vibe is still very much alive, which is rare in a city that has more hipster spots than anything else. My partner and I both enjoyed our cocktails. We sat at the bar, but there were plenty of tables too. Service was decent, if a little inconsistent. Our first server was fine but seemed somewhat checked out, while the second one randomly brought us bar snacks around our second drink (nuts, and they were delicious). Left me wondering why the first server didn't do the same. The cocktails are pricey, $20+ with a 22% gratuity automatically added to the check, but it IS Aspen after all. The local beers were fairly priced, which was a nice surprise.

Me and 3 guys walked around looking for a place to eat, and everything was absurdly overpriced--as is expected in Aspen. But CP Burger was actually decently priced for the quality and amount of food. The service was FAST. The ambiance was chill and relaxed as they had a mini golf course outside where a bunch of little kids were having a birthday party. I really enjoyed the laid-back vibe of the place compared to many of the other restaurants in the area where it was reeking of snootiness. Look, I'm all for fancy nice food, but there's a time and place for that. We just wanted something quick, yummy, and non-pretentious...and that is exactly what we got at CP Burger. I got the Summit burger without the blue cheese (and instead substituted cheddar) with a gluten free bun. I also ordered truffle fries. The burger was bigger than I expected, so I ended up with a ton of fries left over. The manager was welcoming and really accommodating after I forgot to mention I needed a gluten free bun. Overall, a wonderful experience, really good food, and great location! Highly recommend! I will definitely return the next time I'm in Aspen.

Our experience at Meat & Cheese in Aspen was disappointing from beginning to end…read more To start with, the food was mediocre in every sense. The quality did not justify the prices, the flavors were forgettable, and nothing we ordered stood out. Unfortunately, what happened afterward was far worse. My wife accidentally left behind a shopping bag containing a brand new pair of sunglasses she had purchased earlier that day. When she returned to retrieve them, our interaction with a server named Carson was deeply disappointing. Instead of simply confirming ownership in a courteous and professional manner, Carson repeatedly questioned whether the sunglasses were actually hers. He kept emphasizing that they were brand new and worth around $600, making it clear that he found it difficult to believe they belonged to her. It was impossible not to feel that she was being judged based solely on her appearance. There is absolutely nothing wrong with verifying ownership of a valuable item. In fact, we appreciate businesses that take lost property seriously. What is unacceptable is allowing assumptions and stereotypes to influence how customers are treated. One lesson worth remembering is that genuine elegance and long established wealth rarely need to announce themselves. Those who have had the privilege of success across generations often feel no need to advertise it with designer logos or outward displays. True class is reflected in education, humility, confidence, and, above all, in the way people treat others. Ironically, Carson's assumptions said far more about his own judgment than they did about my wife. No customer should ever be made to feel that they need to "look wealthy" in order to be treated with respect. We hope management addresses this issue seriously. The mediocre food was forgettable. Being judged and treated with prejudice is not. Every guest deserves to be treated with courtesy, professionalism, and dignity, regardless of how they are dressed or what assumptions someone chooses to make about them.
