Just had an amazing experience here and had to share. I had a permanent retainer on my bottom teeth that came off while I was eating a particularly tough apple. This thing was rock hard and I was stupid to try to eat it, but that's a different story I guess. Anyway, Aspire Dental is located very conveniently to my office, so I thought I would walk-in and see if they could fit me in. Not only were they incredibly friendly and accomodating for a walk-in, I was in the chair and back out the door with my problem solved in about 20 minutes. Impressive! I've got a bit of a dentist phobia and haven't been in a few years, but Dr. Hall and his staff were so friendly and efficient in their work, I will be returning for a cleaning and checkup in the near future. read more

Dr. Hall has a passion for teeth! Yes, that does seem strange to most of us and you'd never know if by looking at him, but it was totally apparent to me from the first time I sat in one of his chairs that teeth are his calling and he totally loves what he does. First of all, he was very gentle with my mouth. I had many many problems that had been neglected for many years and I was pretty nervous about getting started. He did multiple root canals, a deep, deep cleaning, removal of all my wisdom teeth, and 4 implants. Yes, I had big, big problems. He is just the best dentist. All of his work has performed beautifully! It has been probably 4 years (?) since I first went to see Dr. Hall and I've had no problems at all with his top quality work. I still see him very often as I require cleanings every four months and I can say with confidence that his practice just keeps getting better and better! I'm sticking with them! read more

My experiences with Aspire Dental have been very good. I have always found their staff to be very professional and polite. Typically the wait times that I have experienced have been very reasonable. I have been to other dentist's offices where it is obvious that the staff are not passionate about their work. This is not the case at Aspire Dental. The office is well maintained, and I find it to be a very comfortable atmosphere. I have not had any billing/insurance issues, and I would go so far as to say that the billing / insurance handling has been easier at Aspire Dental compared to other dental providers I have used in the past. I had been looking for a new dentist, not having had great experiences recently, and I luckily landed at Aspire dental with Dr. McNeil. The whole process was efficient, friendly and inexpensive! (I got the new patient special-x-rays, cleaning and dental exam by Dr.McNeil for 79$!!) As a cash-pay client, it was a relief. I loved the friendly staff-laid back, no pressure, and professional. Few years ago, I was new to the area and need to have some dental works. I do like small office instead of Franchised Dental ones so I picked this one. Nothing seemed to work right for me from the get-go , and they seemed very demanding. Despite all the stuff that I put up with them I did stay for more than a year however I finally got fed up and switched to a different Dental service and never looked back again. Btw, I was there for more than a year and never actually saw the the guy whose name is in front of the Dental office, Brandon Hall or something... THE worst dental experience in 30 years of going to the dentist. Dr. Brandon Hall has a policy.. The policy is that you have to pay your estimated portion of the dental costs of the UPCOMING appointment in advance.. That's right, if you go to Aspire, you have to essentially put down a deposit to secure your appointment.. I asked for an exception to the policy because I had never skipped an appointment with them and I was told no. He recommended a 2-hour appt for me weeks away and told me to pay him $127 today.. He is basically telling the public "My time is worth more than yours and I don't trust you".. "pay me in advance because I don't trust you and let all the risk be on you in case I close down or move your appointment".. I wadded up the "payment plan" and left and called Dr. Brandon Hall back to see if he would reconsider. He verbally threatened me on the phone telling me if I came back "just see what happens to you".. Wow, bad policies and threatens patients.. it will be a wonder if he stays in business.. read more

I received a referral to this Office, and was excited because I had heard decent things about it. Upon my visit, Dr. Hall actually hit on me. He asked me out, which was odd. I will not be returning. Their front staff didn't bill my insurance correctly leaving me with a large balance to pay. We got that part straightened out. read more

I'm not sure if this is a legitimate review because we never made it into the office, but I just have to share. I called about three weeks ago explaining that my husband needed to be seen because he was in excruciating pain. They wouldn't see him until tomorrow (around three weeks from the call). That's understandable. The holidays were upon us. I called today to confirm the time. They told me he'd not get his teeth pulled today, that they couldn't verify his insurance, and that he'd still have to pay for a new exam, even though they'd already told me to bring his x-rays to his visit tomorrow. I'm disgusted, angry, and frustrated. My husband has been in so much pain that he's been up so many nights because he hurt so much. On top of that, he starts a new job next week and can't take any time off to get his teeth pulled. Don't go here. They don't care about you. Needless to say, I cancelled the appointment. We're just gonna go the oral surgeon route. read more

I reported Aspire Dental to the TEXAS BOARD which regulates dentists. He tried to blackmail me into expensive procedures which was not needed. Another dentist took care of my dental problem caused by him. Texas Board of Dental Examiners apparently repremanded him but the record is not made public. The board seems more concerned about dentist profiteering than weeding out unscrupulous dentists to protct public health. I will not trust them if my life depended on their service. He took advantage of my trust for almost 10 years. You are welcome to contact me if you are injured or abused by him. read more

I'm pleased with my dentist overall but this review is for Dr. David Burden (wisdom teeth surgeon) First of all I emailed him a few weeks before my appointment because I had questions and I expressed how nervous I was. I even left my phone number in the email. He never called or wrote me back! Great first impression. The day of my appointment I went into the room to lay in the chair. He started lecturing me about how I should have done the surgery ten years ago and explained why. I was so nervous, heart pounding and this guy is giving me a lecture. Unbelievable. I asked him if i should wait to for "it" to slow down before giving the anesthesia ( because my heart was pounding) and he said wait for what to slow down? My heart you dumb ass! Surgery went well. He wasn't even around when I woke up and left. Oh and the best part a week later I woke up and thought I had a possible infection. When I called him he called back 12 HOURS later. Not even exaggerating. Thanks doc! I'm glad I never have to see him again! He was not personable whatsoever. I would never recommend him to anyone. The only good thing is he did a good job on the surgery. I'd rather have a caring friendly dentist than some jerk who doesn't seem to care about how nervous you are read more

I was surprised by some of the ratings that I read on this site as my experiences have been nothing but great at Aspire Dental. I guess all the haters seem compelled to speak out and not enough of the satisfied customers take the time to share the good stuff so I felt compelled to write this. Dr. Hall is the first dentist that i've seen since I moved to Austin three years ago and he is great. All the staff members that I've met in the office have been nothing but pleasant and professional from my experiences and i'd recommend Aspire to anybody looking for a good dentist. I was curious so I did some digging and found that the reviews on Google are all quite positive and more reflective of my experiences. It was a great experience. I have sensitive teeth and gums so I'm generally a little apprehensive about going in to the dentist. I used to go to Aspire but I moved south. I'm very glad I'm back north and I went back!! I loved it then and now. We spoke about kids and family as much as teeth. The environment was very clean and everyone was as thorough as they were pleasant. Very. I was actually relaxed and I look forward to returning to finish scheduling work. Returning to other places in the past has made me yearn for water boarding. The environment here makes me feel like you're visiting a close friends family for the holidays that you've known since being a child. read more

I haven't had any of the problems that some of the other reviewers have had. Guess maybe I've just been lucky so far. I've been going to Aspire Dental for about 4 years now and have never really had a problem. The staff is always super nice, friendly and as far as I can tell, very honest. I had a question about a filling I received from another dentist because it was bothering me a bit and after taking a good look at it, the dentist said she didn't see any issues but that if it was still bothering me in a few days to come back in and she would redo the filling. It did actually stop bothering me a few days later so I was thankful that I avoided having to get a filling redone if it wasn't absolutely necessary. I plan to stick with Aspire Dental! read more

I had a filling done by Dr. Hall, and he didn't ask me any questions in regards to my medical history. I felt it was done all wrong, and will not be going back there. I could have been allergic to the anesthetic, and he didn't even ask me. When I asked for my receipt, the lady at the front said in order for me to give you a receipt, I would have to enter you into the computer. So, basically I am a patient there, but Dr. Hall didn't feel it necessary to put my information in the computer. He does medical techniques illegally, and I won't go into that. He cares more about making money then making sure his patients are taken care of, and the dental assistants at his office are very uneducated. I have been coming to this office for about a year now. The staff is always polite, very punctual, and always greet me by name. I am never waiting more than 5 minutes to see Dr. Hall. Dr. Hall is very helpful, bright, and thorough. I had some complex dental problems that 3 previous dentists could not treat but Dr. Hall has done fabulous. I have been a patient at Aspire Dental for a couple of years, and I have always been satisfied with their services and facility. However, I am now a raving fan due to Dr. McNeil. I came in for a regular cleaning, although I had a tooth that had been hurting for 2 months. I had already gone to have my tooth diagnosed by another dentist, calling it "inflammation," and by my family doctor, saying it was "sinus pressure." When Dr. McNeil sat down with me and asked if I had any concerns, I mentioned the pain in my tooth and asked her to be careful while performing her examination. She asked some questions, examined the area, and asked if I was open to trying something different on the tooth, in hopes of avoiding surgery. A tissue graft, to be exact. This graft would have made my third time having this procedure: a painful, long recovery, and very expensive solution. I asked Dr. McNeil to explain her idea to me, keeping in mind that I was in terrible pain and scared to have the tooth touched at all. We discussed the procedure she would perform, agreed to try it, and Dr. McNeil got to work. Although still in pain during the procedure, the next day was like a gift from her! It was the first time I slept through the night without waking in pain in my tooth, jaw and head. The next day was even better. I ate hot food, drank cold fluids, and enjoyed not taking large amounts of anti-inflammatories all day long. It has now been a month since Dr. McNeil had the idea to look for a different solution to surgery, and I am not in any pain at all. I cannot thank Dr. McNeil enough for her attention, patience, and willingness to think of what was in my best interest. Dr. McNeil has earned my trust and respect. I will enthusiastically recommend Dr. McNeil and Aspire Dental to all my family and friends. read more

I really like Aspire Dental for a number of reasons. 1) Their bedside manor is great. I went there for the first time after not being able to go to the dentist for years because I didn't have insurance. So the first time back to a dentist I was very embarrassed about not taking better care of my teeth. They were awesome at making me not feel bad that I hadn't been able to do better by my teeth for the past few years. They did a great job of reading my facial expressions as they cleaned away the years of ick and they were good at keeping my mind off what they were doing by talking to me. 2) Their quality of care was exceptional from the appointment making to the cleaning. They took their time to do a very careful job cleaning my teeth. I couldn't have been happier with the quality of care! They also do a good job of scheduling and texting a confirmation. 3) Everyone seems to really enjoy working there. I feel much better going to a place were everyone seems happy to be at their job because I know that if they are happy they will go the extra mile to make sure I am happy and they definitely did.
