    Labender Scone (photo 1)

I'm very surprised to see this low rating (of 2.5 as of today on Nov 6, 2023.) As I was riding the Light Rail to run some errands downtown I, all of a sudden, needed to make a very important business call in a quiet place so when I spotted this cafe from the train car, I rushed here once the train made a stop at California and 16th. This is a market/deli/cafe/bar in Hyatt Regency Hotel. Once you enter the hotel lobby through the main door, you make a right to get to this market+bar area. Very spacious, open feeling, there are more than several couches and high-top tables to get your laptop open. The bar was closed (opens at 2pm) but you can sit there if you'd like. That's exactly what I did. As I walked by the market area, I saw some delicious looking pies/tarts/cakes. There were also premade foods that can take it for to go. Bottled drinks are also available. The coffee menu has quite the selection. There were two types of scones and the Lavender ones caught my attention so when I walked up to the ordering counter, I asked for one of them and a small iced coffee. The kind lady at the counter told me they only had medium sized cups (16oz to be exact) or larger so I said 16oz would be just fine. Then a surprise came. The lady said, "Our system is down right now so we cannot ring up anything so everything is free to you!" I was like, "What?? Are you sure?" I would have at least left a small tip as a thank you but since I'm a person who rarely carries cash, I couldn't do so. I felt bad...The lady said to not worry about it. I saved the scone for later but had the iced coffee while I sat at the bar trying to make that business call. They get coffee beans from Starbucks (as the plastic cup has/had the logo on it.) It actually tasted really good. Later in the day, I finally had the scone at home. And it was amazingly good. There is/was a hint of lavender in it (so it's not overwhelmingly lavender-ey.) There is a sprinkle of sugar on top of it but the sweetness from it is not overpowering either. And it's a good size, too. I'm very particular about scones and their scones passed the test!! Now I know a good place to go to get me a delicious scone if I'm downtown again.

This is a market and bar/restaurant that sits just to the right of the main lobby of the Hyatt Regency in downtown Denver. I had dinner here one night recently when visiting the area. The space is wide open and provides a variety of seating options from bar seating, lower table seating adjacent to bar, high top tables and couches/chairs if not having food. The menu is limited but the food is very good. I got the Korean Pork Belly sandwich. Had sticky pork belly with grilled pineapple, and a gochujang aioli. It was fantastic. Service was also excellent. Friendly and attentive folks that waited on me while I was having dinner. Options to eat within the Hyatt and adjacent property were so good that I didn't venture out too far looking for other options.

We grabbed a bite and a White Chocolate Mocha in this lobby of the Hyatt before heading to the airport. The breakfast sandwiches really hit the spot.

It's a bar and dining area located just outside the check-in and lobby area of the Hyatt. Good spot to drink a cold local brewery beer while watching a game on the large flat screen over the bar. After a long day in the convention center next door a Denver Pale Ale hit the spot. Expect a decent if not large selection of beers and classic cocktails. Menu is small but has some interesting items on it. Bartender and staff here were friendly. You can take a seat at the bar, or bring your drink to one of the lounge seating areas close by.

Located on the first floor of the Hyatt Regency Denver to the right hand side of the check in desk. I was not looking for food but I wanted to just checkout the menu. This bar does lots of classic cocktails like Old Fashions and Martinis. They also have a food menu with interesting items. I just had to try the everything bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese, and smoked salmon. Then, I also saw green chili and cilantro pierogis. Let me tell you that they both were awesome. I will definitely be going back the bar for a cocktail and getting those pierogis again. The bartender and cashier was friendly. The giant floor to ceiling windows let in light while you enjoy people watching in Downtown Denver. The bar is big and wraps around the center of the restaurant. There are big TVs for your entertainment. Also, you can sit at the traditional table seating area.

Upon arrival, I was immediately captivated by the venue's exterior, which features stunning, artful murals and inviting outdoor seating options. Stepping inside, the ambiance is remarkably fresh, pristine, and stylish. The decor is thoughtfully curated with charming, unique design touches, and the private seating areas offer a serene, perfectly comfortable atmosphere for a midday meal. The hospitality was top-tier in every respect. Our waitress, Summer, was so exceptionally warm, attentive, and gracious that I simply had to ask for her name. To begin, I ordered a Bloody Mary, which was expertly crafted, crisp, and utterly divine. I was also deeply impressed by their remarkably well-appointed wine list. For my main course, I selected the Smokehouse Hash. I was delighted when it arrived with impressive speed. It was a complete culinary triumph rich, beautifully seasoned, and prepared to absolute perfection. Between the spotless environment, vibrant artistic aesthetic, sublime cuisine, and Summer's stellar service, Culinary Dropout earns absolute full marks from me. A thoroughly marvelous experience I shall most certainly be returning

The Rockfish Tom Kha had absolutely incredible flavor. I've never had it as an entree before and they do it very well. The Key Lime Curd was the other top dish for me. It was so tart which is exactly what I wanted. They have a good looking meal for Sunday dinner too and I'd love to come back for it.

It was pretty quiet when we got there and it picked up a lot by the time we left. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The interior decor is cool. Food was good. The lamb was in the form of a soup and while not the best it was pretty good. The hangar steak was well prepared and really tasty. My husband and I shared it. The lamb (soup form) was not good or sharing. Probably would go back but only if we are downtown Denver and have extra time. It's a bit out of the way for us.

It turned out to be a great decision. We were lucky enough to visit during their weekend brunch specials, offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I ordered the crispy cheese burrito, which was generously sized and very flavorful. I also enjoyed a flight of craft beers that showcased a wide variety of styles, from Mexican lagers to rich stouts. My son was equally pleased with his fish sandwich and fries. The service was friendly, fast, and efficient, and the food arrived quickly after ordering. The brewery offers several seating options, including patio seating, an upstairs patio, and bar seating. Since it was around 90°F that day, we appreciated being able to relax comfortably inside the air conditioning. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience. The food, beer selection, and service were all excellent, and I would definitely return if I'm back in the area.
