Our flight got in early and our hotel room was not ready so we sat and had breakfast at Harry's. The restaurant is located right in the hotel and seating was easy. Being located in the hotel you are going to pay elevated prices, everything was pretty expensive. We really enjoyed everything we got, I got the Avocado Toast and added Smoked Salmon, it was full of flavor and my fruit was extremely fresh and my husband got the steak and eggs and said it was delicious. Not worth the $17 but those are typical hotel prices. We ordered the bone marrow jumbo sourdough pretzel and cheese fries. Pretzel ($17) was burnt. Bone marrow butter didn't taste like anything. Cheese fries was mostly potato wedges soaked in molasses with a few drops of cheese. Not worth $18. Server was polite. Restaurant was super small and part of lobby bar. Football game was on TV and guys were screaming at game making area loud. Not fun atmosphere. They should've just called it a sports bar instead of restaurant. Small space with a big noise. Breakfast here while we had company in town. Friendly staff that was slightly overtaxed for breakfast. We had three for breakfast at 10am. We had the Magnolia, a continental and breakfast tacos. Every thing came pretty quickly, some items missing but eventually everything surfaced. Quinoa was yummy and the rest was a three star experience. Took 15 minutes get salsa. Smallish space that is looking a bit shabby which serves breakfast in the morning and dinner and drinks in the evening. It's ok if you are staying at the hotel and don't want to venture out but definitely not a destination experience. $82 for three with no brunch booze. It's a smaller space attached to the lobby which makes it loud and less intimate. I'd explore other options in the future. read more

We were staying at the Magnolia, so it made sense to grab cocktails at Harry's--whether we were pre-gaming or needed a nightcap. While their breakfast was okay and the service was a little slow, the bar is where you should be, as the bartenders make good drinks. For my money, I enjoy their martinis, especially extra dirty gin martinis. They have more than a couple of options for gin, such as Hendrick's that is a good go-to gin for martinis if you are so inclined, or gin & tonics as my wife likes to enjoy. The ambiance complements Magnolia's style, which has been around for nearly 30 years after first serving as the home of the First National Bank of Colorado. Breakfast-wise, it's ok. I ordered an omelet with sourdough toast and a side of bacon. The omelet came with home fries (potatoes), but you can do without them. The service during the morning is not great with the tables not regularly being cleared. But if you're going for drinks at the bar, it's where you'll get your money's worth. read more

Great service for lunch with a one- page menu. I came here with some folks for lunch during the week because the lines were atrocious elsewhere. One in the group was starting at the Magnolia Hotel and had enjoyed this place for breakfast. Lunch hours were 11-5pm. The restaurant area is compact with just as many tables as could fit. I saw people working while eating as well as groups of 4-5. Our server was great. She gave me great recommendations when trying to choose a high protein lunch option since the entrees listed would only be available from 5pm. I opted for the Heritage salad with "extra" grilled chicken. The kitchen did not disappoint with the amount of chicken! The salad portion was huge too. I could not eat it all. Came here today for breakfast with a friend (downtown breakfast options are extremely limited and most are awful!) and we have found a new spot! She ordered coffee (a cup of drip coffee is a whopping $6, but it's a hotel restaurant so of course there's going to be gouging) and the banana bread French toast which she loved!! It looked amazing! I ordered an omelette and it was huge, served with perfectly seasoned potatoes and great sourdough toast! My breakfast was delicious BUT the eggs were overcooked and a little dry. Don't get me wrong, I still ate the entire thing and would order it again without hesitation, it's just that the execution would have been flawless if the eggs had been cooked about 30-45 seconds less. The restaurant is small, but you don't feel like you're in a hotel lobby at all. It is quiet and service is attentive and prompt. Came to Denver for a conference and stayed at the Magnolia. This lovely restaurant and bar in the hotel is really a great spot for bites and drinks. The staff here is very friendly and know the area well, if you need ideas on where to go or what to do in the area. I'm a bit embarrassed to say, I got room service the first night, I liked the dishes so much I got the same thing the next night. Tired after a full day of running around on Sunday I hung out in the bar area with a book and a sandwich. A lovely bartender named Kristina was lovely to chat with. Food and service were wonderful. We were just walking by to get to our hotel and there goes Joshua waving at us so we went in. 2 hours later and it was he best decision we made lol you just tell him what alcohol you like and he will create a concoction that will knock your socks off! YUCK! Chef obviously has no pride in what he serves...! we attempted to have lunch at Harry's today. The nachos came out with the cheese barely luke warm. We asked the bar tender to ask the chef to warm up the cheese, but the steak was perfect, so please take it off before putting under the broiler. Over half hour later, a plate of drenched soggy corn chips and over cooked steak. It was obvious the chef did not care and had no pride in what he was serving. So disappointing!! Wow! We got some wonderful service here even though we were Groupon users! Made me feel like a guest of the hotel's. I don't normally drink but it was happy hour and the Dreamsicle Martini ($8 - Malibu Rum, Absolut Citron, Cream of Coconut, Triple Sec) sounded really good, and it was! You should see the spread of food we got and they were pushed out on a cart from the kitchen located elseware from the bar - making it look like room service! The four of us shared two burgers: - "Perfect with Bacon" Burger ($10 - Colorado Natural Angus Beef, Sharp White Cheddar, Applewood Smoked Bacon, on a Brioche Bun) - Short Rib stuffed Kobe Burger ($12 - Sharp Cheddar, Brioche Bun, Beefsteak Tomato, Caramelized Onion) Both were excellent and our waiter remembered to bring us regular and sweet potato fries. Lettuce Wrap ($9 Silver Noodles, Pulled Beef Short Rib, String Veggies, Hoisen Sweet n Spicy BarBQ, Crushed Peanut and Lime) was recommended on a restaurant review book but it was meh, the meat was kind of dry and the sauce was not enough. The Honey Curried Chicken Salad with Brioche Toast ($5) was my idea of an appetizer and it was HEAVENLY, one person in our goup doesn't normally like curry but he couldn't seem to be able to stop eating it that night, lol. We weren't gonna grab dessert but our total didn't add up to the $50 Groupon price because our server gave us happy hour prices on everything! Bless his heart and I asked if I could get a dessert to make it over $50, he gladly complied and brought out this Creme Brulee that didn't look as if it'd be any good. Because instead of the normal sheet of torched sugar, it was sprinkles of crystalized sugar and the custard looked pale. But as soon as I had a bit I fell in love, it was vanilla bean flavored which explained the color. We liked our server so much for working with us so we tipped him $20. Currently staying at the magnolia and I have eaten 4 meals here. First off for breakfast the eggs Benedict is perfect! The egg is poached beautifully, the hollandaise is made fresh and you can' taste the hint of lemon in it. I've had the wings(they are dry rub Cajun and you can choose a sauce for the side). They were perfect, no sauce needed. I've had the nachos with carne asada, which were very very good and the burger. The onion marmalade that came on the burger was really good and they make their own ranch, which made the sweet potato fries just perfect! I know there is a lot of good food in Denver, but it's cold out. I've never really liked hotel food but the Magnolias was really so good for hotel food that I've hardly gone out to eat outside of the hotel this trip! read more

Cozy little bar hidden on a corner and connected to a ritzy Hotel, Harry's Bar is a hip joint that vibes that old school 70's popping martini lounge. Bright lights, white shiny walls, while "The Girl From Ipanema" gingerly plays in the background and plenty of TV's for you and / or guests to sit back and enjoy. We sat in a "lounge-style" section with a round booth that can take care of a party of about 20-25 people. We were welcomed by the cheerful bartender behind the counter along with the manager who actually came out and greeted my sister, cousin, mother-in-law and I when we sat down. He referenced that I looked like Robert Downey, Jr.. so I had to call R.D.J. to let him know our cover was blown. I grabbed the locally brewed Great Divide Brewing Co. Titan IPA.. I recently became a big fan of the IPA world and have not looked back since. Cold, crisp, with a little bite.. this beer is made from fresh water up in the Rockies and packs a little punch. Instantly refreshed, I'm happy to say I've found a local beer I can rep home in Cali for my folks out in Denver. The rest of the family ordered their drinks, all of which arrived within a timely manner. We placed an order for some burger sliders and steak street tacos.. both were tantalizing to the nose hairs and taste buds. Tasty appetizers paired with the perfect brew at happy hour, my stomach agreed that we were happy campers. With a chill atmosphere, easy access to the 16th Street Mall, plenty of public transportation, plenty of parking close-by, a great local beer selection along with a welcoming staff and laid back patrons.. YELP DRINKS DENVER! Round One 4/08/2011 Love the "trendy" Jet Set/Art Deco fusion Styling! I met up with a group of about a dozen or so fellow Denver Yelpers last evening to start a great evening of cocktails, amazing food and meeting more new great people and capturing the night on my VLOG (watch here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lHeWHHnCx0 ) 6:30 on Friday evening and this place gets packed. The smallish space does get a bit noisy -- but then I'm sure our group helped increase the overall decibel count quite a bit. Drinks: We had an excellent variety of Yelp drink specials to choose from (and I took a bus to get downtown) - I decided it best to play copycat on the ladies who were about 20 mins ahead of me and enjoy a Chandon Champagne split to welcome the weekend in style. My second selection was a very nicely made Absolut Lemon Drop Martini Staff: The bar staff was top notch for the volume they were experiencing. I even got the Rockies game on TV during a pretty heavy service bar push-- thanks again!
