The Paris Baguette on Decatur is absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We tried the sweet rice bean puff, lemon tart, crab croquette, Korean BBQ pizzetta, coffee croissant donut, and the egg and cheddar twisted roll. Every single item was outstanding--it was hard to pick a favorite! The pastries were light and fresh, the savory items were full of flavor, and everything tasted like it had just come out of the oven. The bakery was spotless, the display cases were beautiful, and the entire space felt clean and inviting. On top of that, the service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be back and can't wait to work our way through the rest of the menu. We came here just to stop by and rest for a few minutes after walking next door at Hmart. I don't usually buy anything here to be honest but, husband wanted some coffee so we stopped by... COFFEE: 10/10 I'm not sure what kind of coffee my husband ordered but, I LOVED IT!! I usually don't drink coffee at all because of the bitterness. But, this one has almost zero bitterness. I've been to other Paris Baguette locations and went to this one for the first time, had a good experience. It's so much bigger than the other location with almost double the seating inside. Very open and bright. The pastry area looked absolutely delicious! I wanted to try the seasonal caramel apple Matcha and placed a pick up order, and asked to be half sweet as the drinks tend to get a little sweeter. However, I barely tasted the caramel apple in my drink. It was ready when I arrived, so the service was good and quick. Paris Baguette is an awesome bakery located at Sahara Pavilion South on Sahara and Decatur. You'll find them near H Mart. The pavilion has ample parking. Inside is bright, spacious, and inviting with plenty of table seating and relaxing background music. I was listening to David Gray "Babylon," it's a great song! The display case offers a variety of baked goods and delightful pastries! There's even a second display by the register that has sliced cakes and macarons. Each item has a label description and pricing. On the corner are tongs and stacked trays each lined with wax paper. Selection is relatively easy, you simply grab a pair of tongs and tray, then choose your favorite pastries. After making a selection, you bring the tongs to the register. I had Pastel De Nata ($4.49) which is excellent! This is an amazing Brazilian creamy custard baked in a crispy golden flaky tart shell, and so yummy! The macarons ($3.19 each) are fantastic too! I had salted caramel and raspberry macaron, both excellent and not too sweet. Pink Velvet Mochi Donut ($4.49) is a recently new item and so pretty! It's mochi donut dipped in pink velvet ruby chocolate, topped with red and pink Valentine's sprinkles, such a lovely donut however the icing was a little sweet. Tiramisu Tart ($4.69) is an interesting mini chocolate tart filled with coffee cream cheese, and topped with cocoa powder. The cream cheese has a texture similar to marshmallow, and the chocolate tart shell is a bit powdery, and made it feel like drinking more water. Also purchased Unsweetened Jasmine Green Tea ($4.39), it's very refreshing and cooling. I had Brewed Coffee Hazelnut ($4.29) as well with half and half cream served hot, velvety smooth, has strong flavor, rich and delicious! Earlier a gentleman was offering samples of Lavender Iced Matcha. I tried a small cup with a tiny sip, it's more like a dessert-style beverage than a light tea and was overly sweet. I wouldn't mind trying lavender iced matcha again, and will definitely request it unsweetened. Overall the selections are great! I even brought home a box to try cherry and greek yogurt danish, NY cheese tart, crab meat croquettes, and salted caramel pretzel in a buttery tart shell, all very good! Other savory items they have are quiche lorraine, smoked sausage bread, and pepperoni pizzetta. Service from Mae and Marilyn is so kind, thoughtful, helpful, and friendly! Before purchase, Marilyn was patient and very polite in answering questions I had about pastry and drinks that are less sweet. She even checked the label and offered suggestions which I very much appreciate, thank you! read more

I stopped by Paris Baguette around 7 in the morning on a Monday to fill some time before work. First impressions: the space is nice and clean. They also have outlets by the booth seating, which makes it a convenient place to sit and work for a bit if you need somewhere to post up with a laptop. That said, I do think the pastries are expensive for what you get. The display case looks great and everything is visually appealing, but the value didn't quite match the price in my opinion. I did like the drink I ordered -- the milk iced coffee. I had actually looked up the menu beforehand and it was one of the lower-calorie options. If you care about calorie intake, I'd recommend doing a little research before ordering because I was surprised at how high the calorie counts are on a lot of the drinks. It's even more surprising because asians consider "not too sweet" as the highest form of compliment when talking about sweets/treats/desserts/drinks. read more

Disappointing experience and terrible customer service We spent over $40 on pastries and drinks, so we earned a prize spin and won an iced latte. When I asked if it could be made with almond milk, I was told it was premade and couldn't be changed. Fine. But then both the complimentary latte and my matcha were far too sweet to drink. I politely asked if my matcha could be remade with less sweetness, and I was told I would have to purchase an entirely new drink. They wouldn't adjust or remake a drink I had already paid for. For the prices they charge, I expect much better customer service. The pastries were just okay, but the service was unacceptable. If a customer genuinely can't drink a beverage because it's overly sweet, refusing to make any adjustment unless they pay again is incredibly disappointing. $40+ spent, mediocre food, and zero willingness to provide reasonable customer service. When I learned of the relatively new location, I was quite pleased. I had been to the Paris Baguette in Chinatown a couple of times, and I was glad there was one nearer to me. I walked in and was happy to see the eating area and the cases filled with delightful pastries. You get a tray and tongs when you enter, and then you go around and get the items you want and put them on your tray. At checkout, they will package them for you. If you're there for coffee and a snack, there's plenty of room to sit and enjoy your treats. i got three different pastries and they stayed fresh for two days. i didn't want to push it :) 1) a matcha mochi doughnut; 2) a creme brûlée bombolone, and; 3) a sweet rice doughnut.. Last, I got a turkey mozzarella baguette for my dinner. The counter person asked if I wanted the sandwich toasted, but I declined. When I got home, I read on a label that toasting is recommended. Next time. The sandwich was quite good, but had I had it toasted, the cheese would have meted ands the taste would have been better. All the pastries were very good. My favorite--the crème brûlée. Pretty great little cafe next to H Mart. You can circle around and see all of the beautiful pastry selections because it's so easy to want everything! Presentation is beautiful - a lot of care into every pastry that is put out. Much of it is self serve, so grab a tray and tongs to start getting pastries. It's overwhelming with so many selections, but there are signs that also help you by saying "Toast Me" which tells you - warm it up! At checkout there's even more cute packaged items along with 2 large cases of beautiful cakes. I did ask for two of the pastries I got to be warmed. They do it very fast. I tried a pineapple pastry puff which was my favorite due to the pineapple flavor's sweetness paired with the buttery pastry. The cheese danish pastry was also good, it wasn't too sweet which is up my alley. The blueberry cheese pastry is one of the suggested Toast It pastries. It has a nice filling and was really good. We got a large coffee and it was Lavazza coffee which the taste was good, but it didn't come out very hot. That was the only bummer. Everything else about the experience was great. Well, when you walk in on your right hand side you are supposed to grab a tray and a tong. Then you look for the wonderful delicious pastries you want to try or go for your normal stuff if you're not really wanting to try new things. But if you are ready to try new things then you have loads of wonderful pastries. I loved how clean everything was given the amount of pastries they have where you're able to serve yourself. They don't have a whole lot of seating inside. But when I went there was plenty of open tables to choose from. The people who work there are really nice and helpful. The pastries I had bought were very tasty . I wanted to go back and buy more. If I had more money to spend I would have. I even bought a specialty coffee . It was delicious. I don't know about you but I'm convinced that this bakery is what heaven must smell like!! Came here with my mom looking for somewhere to get a quick bite to eat, without feeling tied down to our seats, and man did this place deliver!! I got their Palmier, which was gigantic btw, and it was not only flaky but had a beautiful crystallization of sugar which made every bite have the perfect crunch. My mom on the other had got the strawberry croissant and in her words it was soft, buttery and she loved the freshness of the strawberries. We shared the Curry Croquette and I can say with certainty that we're both getting one each next time cause it was so good!! The filling was savory but not too heavy and it satisfied that the need to balance out our pallets after having the sweet treats. If you ever get to go to Korea, you'll understand why there are so many Korean bakeries in America. Korean cafes and bakeries are next level, and they try to recreate it in the States. It's not the same, but Paris Baguette tries. Unfortunately unlike the overseas bakeries where almost all the pastries are super fresh, the breads here often taste stale by end of the day. You can't blame them. It's a different culture here where you don't have pedestrians coming in and out until the late hours. That said, we tried a salt bread here that was 1/5. It was stale, flavorless, and definitely the worst salt bread we've had in Vegas (better ones include 85 degrees and Tous Les Jour). However we also got the fruit tart, slice of blueberry cake, and creme brulee donut which were much better in comparison. The fruit tart was very expensive for what it was but it tasted good. I'd take Porto's fruit tart over this one any day though. The blueberry cake was moist and not overly sweet. The donut was surprisingly very good- crispy caramelized sugars on top and sweet cream filling. Overall it was an okay experience but we wouldn't make our way over to this Paris Baguette on purpose. read more

Paris Baguette is a cafe I was introduced to years ago in Berlin, Germany. I would stop here at the train station before we would head to different cities. When I found that we had one here I was very excited! the ambiance is fast, casual, but not lacking in aesthetics. It is a bit small in there and can get kind of busy but nothing too bad. The service is always great, everyone is polite and helpful. The pastries are chefs kiss!! Everything is always delicious and fresh. When you go to check out that have macaroons and cakes in the display case. They also have a small area for their merchandise to purchase. If you would like to indulge yourself, you can pick up a tray with and tongs and just pile up all the goodies you want onto the tray. I got the coffee bun for myself and a chocolate croissant for my hubby. My son also chose something but I forgot what it was. Let me just say, that coffee bun was super yummy, it was crunchy on the outside and so soft and fluffy on the inside. I couldn't stop talking about this coffee bun! My hubby liked his chocolate croissant but he stated that he has had better. My son enjoyed whatever he had...you'll see the picture attached. Absolutely amazed!! I'm glad I walked in her after seeing it multiple times. It sits right in between my son's doctor's office and H mart. It's very spacious well lit and I was fascinated by the see through windows to the bakery which allowed first hand views of their process. I ordered only a caramel macchiato, but my son ordered a Dubai chocolate donut two to be exact, and my child a salted butter twist roll. I was only able to test the roll and it was one of the softest breads I've tasted. Theirs a lot seating, low noise and a perfect space to study and hang with friends for a quick bite. Right next to the newest H-mart is the Paris Baguette. Parking can be hectic so please plan accordingly. Came over the weekend and wanted to check out it after breakfast. Upon entering my eyes were so glued to the beautiful pastieries that are lined up in a row in a glass cases. Near the register you have more cakes and sandwiches. The ambiance is airy, clean and a hint of French flair with cute bistro chairs. Also, looks like you can study as they have outlets on the benches and meet up with friends to catch up.
