The food itself as mentioned was great. We took advantage on the specials for the double cheeseburger and the chicken sandwich. I know people will debate it, but I enjoyed the well seasoned and tasty breaded sandwich much more than In-n-out. The chicken sandwich tasted so high-quaity in comparasion to most fast food sandwiches I've ever had and priced so affordably. The entire resturant and the restroom were impicaly clean, the defintion of "sparkling clean". This location really has it together and the chose the right person to be in the front dealing with their customers. Truly a wonderful experience!

The second visit "could've been better" (which Yelp suggests that a 2 star rating would be appropriate to indicate): we placed quite a simple order - 2x Strawberry Sundaes. We took our number placard (#52) and sat at a table to await our order. After patiently waiting what I would estimate to be approximately 15-20 minutes and seeing quite a few other people served their orders, I did find it odd that it was taking so long to prepare 2x sundaes, so I located the young man who took our order and politely inquired about it. He looked a bit confused, exchanged some unintelligible words one of the guys on the grill, and then looked back at me and said it was not our turn yet (or something to that effect). Okay, fair enough. Maybe there were many orders ahead of us. I took it in good stride and went back to my table. After waiting approximately another 15-20 minutes and seeing that *Order #70* was being given their food, I realized that there was a problem and went back up to the ordering counter. I ended up talking with an old man (who I presume is the owner/manager). I explained the situation, and he inquired who had taken our order. I looked around, and the young man appeared to be nowhere in sight, but I did mention it was he who had had taken our order. The old man apologized and assured us he would take care of our order right away. Sure enough, I saw him beeline to the ice cream machine to start our sundaes, and he delivered them to us within 2-3 minutes. He apologized a second time, stating that it was the young man's 2nd day on the job, and that he otherwise would not have forgiven the transgression. In my experience, the resolution to the absurd wait could have been handled worse (in theory, the old man could certainly have told us to pound sand rather than apologizing and immediately attempting to correct the problem and quickly getting our desserts after being made aware of his employee's failure), but also could have been handled better (comping us for the trivial cost of the sundaes as a remedy/cure would have more effectively salved our irritation from the unnecessary waste of 30+ minutes of our life, and would have been in-line with remedial efforts I have experienced at other eateries, including similar fast food/burger joints). All that said, the sundaes were quite good. They would undoubtedly have tasted better had they been served in a time frame reasonable enough to not spoil the mood. I get that this is not a fine dining restaurant of any sort, but I still expect staff competence to be no worse than that of a McDonald's baseline level. I also get that humans make mistakes, but ... how did a simple order of 2x sundaes get botched this badly, particularly after a good faith attempt to bring the matter to staff's attention??

I don't know how Astro Burgers gets so overshadowed by all of the burger chains around here but it's a crying shame! Their burgers are awesome, they're prices are low and you can get chili on your burger and fries! There also open pretty late which is another reason why I love them so. The only reason I can think that more people don't talk about Astro Burgers is due to the fact that they don't have as many locations as Fat Burger, In-N-Out or some of the other well-known chains. Burgers as I said are delicious but their zucchini fries are where it's at! Not many fast food burger joints offer zucchini fries and if they did, I doubt any of theirs would be as delicious as Astro's! Cheap and always delicious! astros is simply amazing. I live about a block away from it and it is always a reliable place for good, simple food. their cheeseburger is rather expensive, but it is big and very tasty. Their fries and shakes are also tasty, and their steak sandwich is big and tasty. Their breakfast is also perfect, made with high quality ingredients and with authentic mexican flavor. Going to Astro for my family is always a no brainer. From their breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers, salads and more there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy. My husband's go to is usually the Chicken Quesadilla or Bacon Cheeseburger, whereas I usually go for a BLTA with a side of onion rings (they're INCREDIBLE). The service was top-notch, and the prices are super reasonable for the portion sizes you get. My only tiny critique was that the fries were a bit on the saltier side for my personal taste, but next time I'll just ask for light salt. I didn't even eat my burger bc it had so much mayo. My wife only ate half of hers bc she feels the quality of the patty had dropped. This WAS my top pick for Father's Day lunch but not any more. Food came out not 10 minutes later, hot & delicious. The portions are great, enough to share for our family of 4. The restaurant is clean and the temperature was cool (on a 90F day). The big windows are great for people/car watching while you enjoy your meal. The selection of food is amazing, very varied. The selection of soft drinks is great too, we were pleasantly surprised to see stubborn soda cherry creme, our favorite. If we didn't live 30 min away, we'd probably be regulars.

Ambiance here is nice and has lots of space to sit and eat. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place to try something new.
