Super juicy patty and they did not skimp on the mushrooms. ​Avocado Cheeseburger: Outstanding! Most burger joints usually give you just a couple of thin slices of avocado, but they completely loaded this one up. Food comes out relatively quick, great if you need something filling during a lunch break. Seating area was really clean. They have a ketchup and sliced banana pepper station, you can grab as much as you want. Solid burger spot with decent prices. French Fries -pretty good, slightly crispy outside and soft fluffy potato inside. Fried Zucchini - comes with a side of ranch, their ranch is ok and not the best I've had. It's a bit watery/thin in my opinion. Zucchini fries were solid but not as crispy as I would perfer. Patty Melt - sliced rye came out perfectly crisp on both sides. I had an adequate experience at The Burgerplus (Montebello). I ordered the Swiss Mushroom Burger ($7.35). This is a clean, overcooked burger. The meat patty is well-seasoned, but it's very thin & dry. Thankfully, the plump, juicy, & fresh mushrooms save this meal. I arrived at The Burgerplus (Montebello) on a weekday (around 10:30AM). There's a small customer parking lot with about 10 available spots. There's also nearby neighborhood parking. Staff (receipt says Jennette) is welcoming, professional, and diligent. Jennette quickly helped me, and Jennette politely answered all my questions. My burger took about six minutes. As mentioned, I ordered the Swiss Mushroom Burger ($7.35). It's not a bad burger; rather, there's a satisfying bite in the end. However, it also feels like an attempt to mask frugal ingredients. The bun is toasted perfectly despite it being very thin & flimsy. The cheese is melted lovingly despite lacking any bold cheese taste. The mushrooms are AMAZING as it brings much needed juiciness, saltiness, and wetness to this meal. And the entire burger felt clean since there's very little grease. Unfortunately, the meat itself tasted compacted and overcooked/microwaved; it's a well-seasoned but dry burger patty. Regarding ambiance, The Burgerplus (Montebello) is very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the air conditioning, and I liked the upbeat music. There's six tables, and there's a hand sanitizer bottle on the counter. Customer restroom is available outside, but customers must ask Staff for the keys. When I'd arrived at The Burgerplus (Montebello) it also felt very empty... Overall, The Burgerplus (Montebello) is not bad. There's genuine, good technique at this business. It's not a spectacular burger, but there's potential. We're so happy a joint like this opened up by our neighborhood and that it's walking distance was plus for us. We tried their breakfast burrito and it was definitely fulfilling. My favorite is their mushroom swiss burger and can we please talk about their zucchini fries? I wish I had ordered more of the zucchini fries as they were crunchy and juicy within every bite. We finally decided to try this place! I pass it every day I go home and always wondered about it. Well, the 5 star rating lives up to the hype. We placed an order for takeout for a cheeseburger, the bbq bacon burger and a side of onion rings. Husband's first words were "oh my god that is so delicious" when trying the bbq bacon burger. Crispy onion rings, flavorful burgers, SUPER clean interior and friendly staff. And 2 large burgers, onion rings and a drink for a little over 20 bucks? The joint itself is in a really unsuspecting spot, but it's very close to the city park and my husband could not stop talking about how clean the space was. That's a place that takes pride in their work and we appreciate that. We were so impressed with the our food we were kind of kicking ourselves for not trying it sooner. I found this place online after seeing all the great reviews on Google and Yelp, so I decided to give it a try. I dined in with my trained service dog, who remained in his stroller throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the owner approached me in a very rude manner regarding my service dog. From that point on, her attitude toward me and my family remained unwelcoming for the rest of our dining experience. To make matters worse, the food wasn't worth the visit. There are plenty of other burger spots that offer better food and much better customer service, and those are the businesses I'll be supporting going forward.
