Originally it was a very smooth experience in April where I was able to confirm with the store they had the device and they were quick to take down all of my information and confirm my pricing but it all went downhill from there. For the next 3 months, I'd have to fight with AT&T Customer Service regarding my bill being incorrect (charged $32/month over what I was initially quoted) and them constantly pushing it off by saying they fixed the issue (but it turns out they were only manually adjusting the bill each time without a permanent or correct fix). It was not until this month where the AT&T Customer Service finally confirmed for me that they had initially misquoted me the price and promised a promotion that was on my quote but not eligible to my address and their initial solution was to open a case for me to follow up on and draw out until August when I would be incorrectly billed again. At the end, she was able to help me apply another courtesy credit and also cancel my service, but will not be returning to this location and would not trust any of the numbers they give you as the store, billing and sales department seems to operate differently, separately and can only point fingers at each other. read more

So when you go there be very careful they don't tell you the whole thing ! Very bad customer service ! Absolutely terrible experience at this AT&T store. Came in for a simple phone upgrade and trade-in and ended up wasting a huge part of my day waiting around with no urgency from the staff at all. The store was disorganized, slow, and poorly managed. Employees kept saying 'someone will help you soon,' but nobody ever seemed to know what was going on. What should've taken 20-30 minutes turned into hours. Honestly one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've had in a while. Avoid this location if you value your time. read more

I have been at this AT&T Store location twice in the past few weeks. Long story short.. we have been AT&T customers for over a decade, and very rarely did we need to visit a store for anything, until this year. Usually, we'll go to another location closer to us, but one location was randomly closed on a weekday, due to not enough employees, and the other location was just a bit out of the way for me on my normal route. I was trying to plan ahead and set-up an appointment online so I would not have to wait, but this store does not have that option. This AT&T store is a corporate location, so they will always be open, per their store hours. Each time I walked in, there were always enough employees to help answer any questions one may have. Some of the questions I had, they could not help fully answer them as I would need to call in to Customer Care. The reason why I wanted to avoid calling in to Customer Care is because it had taken me an average of 40+ minutes each time I have had to call the past few weeks, though yesterday was a miracle when I was able to speak to a live agent within 15 minutes on hold. The short end of it, we had always known that AT&T had great cell service, and was second to best, with Verizon being #1 in cell service. We were loyal with AT&T "until the end," until they constantly kept raising our prices for a crap grandfathered plan. This past month's bill is what drove us to switch to another provider. Loyalty does not matter from AT&T. They do not seem to care to keep their customers happy. I remember some time last year, I walked into another AT&T store to ask about their promotions and they literally had none to provide a 15+ year customer. A few months ago, when I called into that same store, to ask a real simple question, they immediately transferred me to Customer Care, without a care, and I waited 40+ minutes for an agent that did not answer my question, and had to make an appointment at another store... where the store rep solved my problem within 5 minutes of arriving. We still need physical brick and mortar stores because via the phone is just not the same. Each interaction with the employees here were okay and I got the answers that I needed to my questions, without having be "on hold" on the phone for 40+ minutes. With this location being nestle in-between a Chick-Fil-A, a Panera, and a Lucille's, parking can be quite difficult to find, at least in front of the store. I have had to park a bit a ways each time I have visited. At least this store is open when they say they are, and there are enough employees at this corporate store to help, even without the ability to set-up an appointment via online first. I cannot attest to their hands-on my cell phone experience but at least you can find a real live person, which is becoming a bit more difficult these days, in the age of customer service. read more

Second visit to an ATT store. Hoping this one would be able to assist. STAY AWAY FROM ATT ALTOGETHER!!! Went in to cancel my phone lines. The "manager" on duty, a young kid by the name of Michael, who is completely inept told me right off the bat, we dont do that here, you'll have to call customer service. Guess what he did, he called customer service from my phone. 25 minutes later he disappeared, and 45 minutes later I left the store as he never came out from the break room. The "customer service" phone line never answered. I really think this is what is wrong with these giant corporations, the place systems to maximize profits, minimize customer assistance by placing giant hurdles to resolve account issues, especially when it is not centered around making sales. Be careful when their sales rep try to give you a good deal on a new phone. Make sure get copy of the contract. Do not believe if they say the special monthly payment of the new phone will show on your next statement. Horrible service. We were greeted right away which was nice. However it went down hill from there. We sat waiting with no further acknowledgement. There was one other customer in the store and multiple workers. We could hear laughing and joking in the back. I can understand if people are on a break, but that should be explained a since the wait was going so long. At one point there were multiple workers helping just the one customer. I have been a AT&T Customer for over thirty years, as a Physician I must say this store is the absolute worst. I went in the other day (rare day off) to pick up a new phone I had called the day before (right before closing) and was told plenty in stock. I came in at 10am and all the "Manager" was only concerned about was my Internet provider, he said the safe was locked and he was unable to check availability as the safe timer was not going to open for another 10 minutes. The whole time he tried to sell me internet service, which I don't pay for any internet cable service mine is provided by my Employer as a "network". This guy was worse then a 1980's used car salesman.. and in the end he came back and said "No we don't have any phones".. did not offer any alternative options just said no can't help you. When we arrived we received a warm and friendly greeting from Justin who promptly began to investigate the matter. Justin was knowledgeable, kind, and quite helpful in assisting us. He treated the matter with a sense of urgency which reassured my wife and I that we had come to the right place. Justin also enlisted the help of the store manager Enrique who finalized the corrections that needed to be made to our account. This decision further solidified our thoughts about how our issue would be resolved before we left the establishment. Both Justin and Enrique were extremely professional. They treated us with respect and dignity and we thoroughly appreciate that! My wife also received help with the settings on her tablet, and this was the highlight of her day! So it's clear to the young male employee that I'm disabled as I walk with a cane. I had been trying to get through to the AT&T in Walnut (5 miles away) to see if they had a particular phone case in stock and asked for his assistance. He told me to get the number from Google and call myself. I told him I've been trying but keep getting the run around by pressing numbers and then more and never speaking to a human. Asked for a shortcut to get through and he told me to do it myself. Wow! How uncaring! Been a AT&T customer 20 years and your customer service is at an all time low. This store is committing fraudulent charges. They will sneak in additional charges for their insurance protect advantage or next up when you did not agree or consent to ANY of those additional services. No where is it listed on the receipts or paperwork after purchasing a phone. So you can only image how difficult it is trying to cancel these fraudulent charges you never agreed or consented to in the first place. Going back and forth between customer service and having the staff blatantly lie to your face that there is no insurance plan added to your account when it's pops up on your bill. The staff must be getting incentives if they sign customers up for certain programs like added insurance etc so they're sneaking it into your bill. Beware and check your itemized bills. read more

Today I came in exploring my options on the iPhone 14 and was greeted by Sergio. Not only was he friendly he walked me through my options of each version of the iPhone 14 which I really appreciated. Even though I decided not the purchase the phone he gave me his card incase I changed my mind. Of course I changed my mind 30min before they closed and I contacted Sergio to let him know I was on my way. When I arrived he already had the phone I wanted waiting for me in the box. The literal worst ATT store on the planet. The associate Daisy Velasco and the store manager Brandon Gonzalez are either wildly incompetent and/or straight up criminals. They were unable to unlock one of our devices so we could port it off our plan. Then they upsold us on a new data plan and promised us explicitly that the new bill would not increase at all. Then the new bills came and we were charged hundreds of dollars extra. Daisy and Brandon were unable to resolve the issue and ignored frequent requests for help via text, phone, and e-mail. They would regularly put us on hold for 30-60 minutes then hang up on us. Cost our company tons of time and money. Incredibly frustrated. Thankfully the corporate 1-800 number was able to help fix some of the mess but we are still considering suing them for damages. The situation is still not resolved and has been ongoing for months.| Daisy and Brandon should be fired immediately. Huge liability for ATT. A civil claim would be a slam dunk against them (I have extensive written records) and based on some of the other reviews they may be committing criminal offenses as well. This place will only serve AT&T customers. If you were an existing or a normal customer who buys things inside the store, they do not care about you. They will only support customers who are AT&T wireless customers or anything else AT&T. If you are a customer trying to switch over, they could care less about what your old plan was. They will just quote you the current pricing, and will not try to beat your previous pricing or assist with paying for the switch over. Avoid this place at all cost when buying accessories. They will not take it back without the proper receipt. If they no longer carry your accessory within the week, they will not even accept it. Be careful when buying from here if the item doesn't work properly. They will put the blame on how you use it, and will try to convince you to purchase a different item instead of giving a refund. You are better off going elsewhere... Don't waste your time here. read more

I would give this store 0 stars if that was an option. The managers and sales associates here lie and scam you into what appears to be a good deal then you come to look at your bill and they add new lines, remove discounts and credits, increase charges on devices, upgrade device accounts without authorization. If you come into this location for a "deal" you can expect them to strong arm you into paying for their "mistakes", spending money that didn't need to be spent, or even surrendering devices back. You can also expect to go back and forth between the store and phone customer service, sometimes both at the same time while the manager sits and watches you... unless they decide to interject with customer service conversations or decide to go disappear in the back! I don't understand how these morally suspect people got into these positions and how they still in a position to take advantage of people. The worst experience in this store for home internet. Brian Lee the worst sales guy I have ever met. He thought I am an Indian who's not bothered how the customer service going to be. He shared the business card and said I could contact him on his mobile at anytime once I get the equipment. This guy never responded to my messages or calls and just ignored. Finally after few days I managed to got hold on a call and said that we need help with the installation. Nothing but was told that one piece is missing to come over to the store for help. This is our 4 th visit just for home internet. I am just surprised and disappointed about the service and quality of sales. This particular sales guy should be out of this store or train him for customer service . He should be trained how important is a customer and their time . The worst and disgusting service should not be experienced by anyone who has a busy schedule in the USA. Hope At & t will hire professional staff to their company and not ruin their business. I've used the Brea California store exclusively for my business needs for over a decade. They were great in the beginning. For the last two years every time I go in the salesman promises me some great deal that ends up costing me twice as much as I was originally told. Resulting in hours on the phone with customer service and often not getting a full refund. I would never use this store again. They make money by signing up you so employees who don't plan on working there long will lie to customers by quoting a lower entry price. These employees will collect bonuses for that sign-up, and then quit. You - or who's ever unlucky enough to have trusted these employees - will then receive a bill with a monthly charge that's at least 30% more than what the in-store employee guaranteed. You will then be informed that you can not cancel through the store, and will be given a number for AT&T customer service. You will then be informed that you must pay for the "Activation fee" and will not be reimbursed. Employee gets bonus. AT&T gets at least $100 from you. read more

We had excellent service at this store. The options were explained clearly and we left feeling we got exactly what we needed and even got a discount we didn't know we were eligible for. What our salesman didn't know was that we had just come from the Anaheim Hills location (Imperial at Santa Ana Canyon) which was awful! All the sample phones were turned off, the salesperson said she didn't know anything about Samsungs so couldn't help or answer any questions, and after they disappeared for quite a while to "check our account" we wasted more time with them before they finally went in the back room and came back saying they didn't have any phones but try calling in a week. So glad we went straight to the Brea store where received different - accurate! - information, got to play with the sample phones, and walked out with a good deal and all my apps and data moved over. read more

Better customers and knowledge. I went to have the back of my phone repaired and came out with Apple ID erased from my iPhone. Manager and repair team had no idea how to correct there mistake. Talked to apple support there is no way to my retrieve my Apple ID that I had for 10 years plus. AT&T Manager didn't even try to compensate me for there mistakes. This is actually by far the worst store I've ever been to. It's not like AT&T is ever actually helpful but I spoke to an employee on the phone about how my screen was cracked and bleeding, they told me to make a claim when I expressed that all the days that they had were out of workable time frame for my job they said I could walk in. My phone ended up completely blacked so I went to the store 2 hours before closed and asked for help. They told me they can't do anything without a claim. I expressed I don't have a computer to do so at home and I need my phone for work. I asked if it's possible for them to even look at the phone and he said not without a claim. There were 3 employees standing around. I ended up having to go pay 170 at the mall to get it fixed when I have insurance with AT&T!! This isn't the first time I've had a poor experience. My roommate came here one time to upgrade her phone and the employee was so unhelpful and rude she decided to just forget it! I will never expect anything good from AT&T at this point and especially not this store. read more
