DO NOT go to the AT&T store in Centreville Squair, Centreville, VA, at "BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE." During my in-person visit yesterday at this retail location, I encountered unsatisfactory support from the AT&T manager. The issue began abruptly when one of our lines stopped functioning--specifically; it ceased making and receiving calls without prior warning or any discernible reason. Over three weeks, I reached out to AT&T's support line (611) at least thrice, explaining the situation in detail each time. Regrettably, each representative provided inconsistent and often conflicting information, which only heightened my frustration. When I found that the issue persisted despite following the advice from the phone representatives, I decided to visit the AT&T store in Centreville Square, Centreville, VA, hoping for a more hands-on resolution. Unfortunately, this visit turned into the worst customer service experience. After explaining the problem to the store manager. MR. JP, the manager, prematurely concluded that my issue was solely device-related and insisted I visit the Apple Store for assistance. His refusal to inspect my device was particularly disheartening, especially since he acknowledged that he had the expertise to resolve issues like mine. Instead of supporting or guiding me, he dismissed my concerns entirely, leaving me unheard. Taking the manager's suggestion, I contacted Apple Customer Service in hopes of resolving the problem. The representative I spoke with was knowledgeable and attempted to troubleshoot the device step by step. After performing several diagnostics, she inferred that the core issue likely resided within AT&T's network rather than with the device itself. With this newfound information, I returned to the same AT&T store to share my findings with the manager. I even offered to connect him directly with the Apple representative to resolve the issue collaboratively. However, he again refused to assist me, reiterating that my only option was to visit the Apple Store. His condescending attitude further compounded an already frustrating situation. After weeks of unnecessary hassle, I ultimately got help from another AT&T Store. So, I went to the AT&T store in Fair Oaks Mall. I was lucky to be assisted by their sales rep, Michael R. He promptly inspected my device, diagnosed the problem with the SIM card, and expertly removed the old SIM card to program a new eSIM. To my relief, this promptly resolved the issue--my device was finally functioning as intended. Given my extensive time navigating this process and the inadequate support I received, I feel compelled to express my deep disappointment with AT&T's service. Your organization must recognize and address the deficiencies in your customer support, particularly for longstanding customers who rely heavily on your services. read more

I honestly have had nothing but issues with this location. It really takes some complaining or contacting a manager for anything to be done. I got my brand new phone 3 months ago. I have been dealing with a piece of garbage device and been speaking with ATT/Samsung/Google to get it back to normal. No one seems to be able to help. read more

Any problem I have had with my phone physically or with my account, they snap to it and get it done. I needed help upgrading my daughter's phone from a 6s I owned to an iPhone 7 that I owned. They opened up the store a little early due to the heat and also gave my 5 year old some ice cream for National Ice Cream Day. My phone quit on me on a Friday night at 7:15pm. I raced to the AT&T Store in Centreville Square, Centreville, VA, and when I got there, Wilbur, was available to help me and I'm so glad he was. He patiently listened to me, he was kind, and spoke gently, which was much needed in the midst of the panic, stress, and anxiety I was feeling. He got me set up with a new phone, told me where to go to get help to get everything transferred off my old phone on to the new phone (uBreakiFix). He kept calm which helped me calm down. Thank you Wilbur, you threw me a much needed lifeline of peace and security. Peace in the form of the kindness of a stranger, security in the form of a new phone that works. Thanks for all your help! I was in the market for a new iPhone 16 Pro Max. My carrier is AT&T. I ordered the phone on my app and the app told me two hours at this Centerville location. When I got there, I was told that my order was canceled, but he could order the phone and have it shipped to me. Why was it canceled? Because they didn't have the that I selected which the app said they had that phone in stock. So I drove all the way to Centerville from Bristow Virginia for nothing. The manager Sam told me that he had my order and he would just order it so it could be shipped. I said OK thinking that he reduplicated my order. So I made the purchase and asked for a receipt. He then told me we don't give out. It has to go to your email address and you will get 20 minutes. I said what email address did you send it to. He sent it to the wrong email address. I gave him the correct email address. And I haven't received the receipt yet. He said it would be 20 minutes. It's been over three hours. Finally my app was updated and come to find out my order, He added a $10 fee monthly to my order for my new phone without telling me. I called them. to tell them to take that option off of my order. They wouldn't. He was so passive on the phone and told me I could take the option off 14 days after I get my phone order. I looked up truth is that you have to take that option off within 14 days of the order. He also said this was automatically added to the order and insurance and the $10 next option. Which was not true because insurance wasn't even on the the order when it finally came over on my app. If you are in the marklet for a new phone at one of your local AT&T retail stores, Don't go to Centerville. This franchise is a complete mess! In 30 minutes I saw people leaving very dissatisfied about the service! One employee that was lost in the space didn't know how to help. I just want to start out that both of the men who worked today 2/11/2020 were amazing. I walked in with a few questions regarding being upgraded and Nicolas (without an H) helped me out with all of my questions. Whilst Nicholas (with and H) was dealing with difficult customer after difficult customer, with nothing but a smile on his face and reassuring words. I walked away with the phone I've been wanting for a while and have no one but Nicolas to thank. Very professional, very kind and very nice. :) 10/10 would recommend. I don't know how this place got any more stars or maybe it was the young high school kid that was trying to "fake it" but this was the worst experience I've ever had when trying to upgrade my phone. So instead of telling you how bad the customer service was and the repeated bs lies and contradictions, I'll just skip and say in the end I went to the official AT&T store (not a third party outlet retailer) in Fairfax and got everything I DIDN'T get here. They confirmed all the lies that "portables" said to get a deal and was shocked how bad they lied. For one example, not "everyone" gets the NEXT program and you CAN pay for your new phone upfront for a cheaper total cost. And they should be able to transfer your data and make your upgrade easier, but they're lazy and don't do anything but try to win deals from you. No commission = no service. Save your time and money and goto the real AT&T in Fairfax or at Fair Oaks Mall. This place is a scam. read more

I had a great experience when I went in to buy my husband the iPhone 5 for his birthday in April. I knew exactly what I wanted, told them, bought it. $273 for the 16G black iPhone + an OtterBox. I signed my receipt (and only my receipt) and left. I was quite pleased. Super quick. Well, our bill came that month and these dishonest schmucks had added $9.99 worth of insurance to my husband's line without a) telling me, or b) having me sign anything. They had ZERO consent to do this. Wondering if maybe they get some sort of kick-back for signing people up for the additional insurance? Who knows. Anyway, lesson learned. I will NEVER go back ... and will go out of my way to go to a corporate store from now on. Have been fighting with AT&T monthly since April to get this stupid insurance removed from our bill. I have used this particular AT&T store for the last 4 years. I have been an AT&T customer for 15 (been through it all; Cellular One, Cingular AT&T...) and this location is BY FAR the best one yet. The employees here actually CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER and what their needs are, not just the possibility of a commission. They take their time and get to the root of your concerns for the visit as well as do a quick analysis of your bill to make sure they can't save you any money while you are there. I have done upgrades as well as gotten help with insurance claims here and all I can say is that the Manager Yooki and his friendly staff are a one stop shop for everything AT&T related. You don't know how dependant you are on your phone until it breaks or gets lost, these guys make it as painless and as quick as possible to get you back up and running. Thanks guys! Went to this At&t store last week and the experience was ok. It gets really busy during the weekend and doesn't help that there are only 2 employees attending people. Both employees were really nice and really listening to the costumer's needs, however more would really help this store out. It is also more convenient to go to the fair oaks location, because there are fees that need to be paid at this store when getting a new sim card. (just fyi) read more
