Absolutely terrible customer service. They steal from clients and don't want to rectify it when caught. Stay away and go to another location or go to a different provider. Alex deserves a medal. I loathe AT&T store visits. And yes, the prices are astronomical and the wait / service time was 4 hrs (!), Alex had exceptional customer service skill. She was grace under pressure, competent, patient, and managed her crew well. A lot to juggle with Covid and being short-staffed, she went to bat for each customer she helped and did an excellent job working within the confines of the situation. It took me three days to fix broken screen with these guys. One visit to submit claim. One visit to give them the phone. One visit to pick it up. Why AT&T couldn't fixed the screen in one visit , but every phone repair could? Why did it take them more than two hours to replace the screen, which you can do in 15 min at any repair place? ATT also messed with my phone IMEA in the system, and I had to fixed that, before they started to repair my phone . They should fix that, not me. And they also pointed at asurion company, but this shouldn't matter, because I PAY TO ATT, so this is ATT responsibility to provide me with proper service. No one in this store wanted to help me, they just trying to address all issues to somebody else. Besides the horrid service, everything else is great. read more

Becareful when speaking to the staff here. They will lie to your face to get you to sign up. Ariel created an extra account by mistake and closed it. I got charged for an account closure because of his mistake. He also told me about the free internet promo if youre an att mobil customer. He stated it was "fiber" and no data caps. What I received after 2 months of missed install dates was DSL and a 1000 GB data cap. Be warned. read more

I just ruined my day by going to this store...Adam Nagy is the store manager. Let me give you an advise listen first and then respond accordingly. On December 23rd came to the store looking Mr. Briggs (he has a great customer service skills and funny that is a bonus) he was taking his lunch. Another young man helped me instead. Long story short I upgraded one of my lines (my wife). I had the pleasure to deal with Mr. Briggs before when I came to pick up another Iphone13 pro max for my son (Christmas gift) and Me and Mr. Briggs talked about the presents for our wives. He wanted to help me to get the right present. I realized later that week that the best present would be an upgrade. The phone that I got on the 23rd an iphone 13 pro max black was that present. My wife loved it but she would have preferred a white one. On Christmas day when everyone opened their presents my son asked " mom why your phone doesn't have the sealed plastic like mine or the straps on either end that ensures that it's brand new" (never opened). I guess we didn't pay that much attention to that situation. I just went to the store to explained the issue about the phone and see If I could get a white telephone instead. The manager was not empathetic at all in fact he was very confrontational arguing that I will have to pay restocking fees (that was my mistake for not paying attention to the packaging when I bought it. My bad for not checking). The only thing that I've learned today is to not go back to that store until he gets retrained in costumer service and his staff checks that everything that they sale is sealed and pristine condition. The Manager's name is Adam Nagy, Sir please let your clients talk and don't do it in front of everyone, that shows that you have no class. It could have been better if we sat somewhere so we could discuss the issue. You need to be retrained!!! read more

I walked in just before 1pm. A security guard was playing on his phone. No one greeted me. I had no idea who works there and where to go. I saw a lady finally, she had an att jacket on and was helping a woman. I stood there for another 5 min. Still, no one said anything. I sat down for 20 minutes and STILL no one acknowledged me. An older man was complaining at a back table that he had been waiting over an hour! The woman employee said there was no more employees and that one would be coming in at 1:30. I saw them lose a few customers that walked in and walked out. I would have ordered new cable/internet but......no thanks. Horrible customer service read more

I wasted part of my afternoon trying to get my new unlocked iPhone going with an old SIM card. Then I walked into this store. Greg helped me in matter of seconds which I could have done easily at home if I knew better. Needless to say, we both laughed about that and he was very hospitable and I would definitely go back to this store with further needs. Although, the parking sucks. read more

This is only my second Yelp review and it is well-deserved. To put this review into context, my first review of another business was five-stars and glowing. My experience at the Veranda AT&T Store on March 22, 2021 was the polar-opposite. The short version of my bad experience is not that short. I have had multiple lines on my account since AT&T was known as Cingular and Cellular One. I knew which phone I wanted and did not intend to upgrade my account. They brought the phone to me and put it on the table. Then they spent 30 minutes trying to up-sell me a more expensive plan. They used fast talk and continually referred to the lower monthly charge which ultimately cost $1,200 more after 30 months. After doing the math and asking them 3 times, they finally had to admit that I did not have to upgrade my plan in order to purchase the phone for the same overall $700 price. Here's the first kicker. The manager then took my sales person to the back room, had a 5-minute discussion, and returned to tell me that they could not sell the phone to me "because they did not have it in their inventory". I was dumbfounded and pointed out that the phone was sitting on the table in front of me in the original sealed box. They made up a story that it wasn't in their computer system and had to log it in before they could sell it. They said it must have been a return even though the box had the original seal. I said I would wait, but they said they couldn't or wouldn't do it. It was baloney and I left. Here's the second kicker. I went to Costco, who had the phone, for the same price, and did not require an upgraded plan to sell the phone. When the salesperson logged into AT&T's web site, it indicated that I already purchased the same phone earlier that day. Apparently, the Veranda AT&T Store recorded the alleged purchase even though I did not sign anything or pay anything. When I called the Veranda store, I described myself as the person to whom they refused to sell the phone. They claim that I declined the purchase. After putting me on hold for another 15 minutes, they reversed the sale which wasn't a sale, and I was able to buy it from Costco. Miserable experience with a lousy sales manager and sales person who weren't smart enough to make up good lies. Enter at your own risk. read more

Came In to get new cable and internet for the house. Couldn't be happier with the service... everyone was super nice and helpful. Got scheduled in a week and I'm so excited! Now I have only one bill instead of two! Also after I get installed I get $100 visa gift card. YaY read more

Everyone here always have a smile on their face and are always helpful. This store is new which is why I assume it isn't that busy but I do like not having the long wait. Go and see Greg!! It was painless and relatively quick , and he was very knowledgeable and professional ! I came in with my 2 year old son and he was very accommodating. He's super quick and was able to sync all of my old phone pics and music to my new phone and answered all of my questions with ease and comfort. I went into the store several times to transfer a phone line and it was the most excruciating process. And to top it all off, they weren't even able to help me in store anyways. After calling AT&T, there's a simple website that allowed you to transfer lines. I wish the salesperson would've just offered that option in the first place, instead of making me jump through all of these hoops. So save yourself the hassle and just call the AT&T 800 number. read more

I purchased an iPhone from Gladys. Lots of moving parts. I lack tech knowledge, changes to my plan and last minute my daughter wanted a new phone too. Also, picking out all the necessary accessories was a circus. Gladys was informative, patient and had great suggestions that would benefit me. We were there for quite some time and never felt rushed. We were those annoying customers that had horrible past experiences with AT&T and dump the frustration on her shoulders. She remained calm and smiled the whole time addressing all of our concerns. But, where Gladys truly shines is the customer service I received days after the purchase. I was having some trouble with my phone and Gladys took the time to explain things to me with such kindness and respect. I wish I could give her 10 stars! read more

at&t, in general, sucks. it is impossible to close my dead fathers landline account. can't do it over the phone or online or even in the corporate store, without having to make a phone call, which doesn't work, besides being on hold for a ridiculously long time, because their automated line only looks at the number you are calling from or the email you are using. the corporate store in the veranda in concord tried making 4 phone calls with me there, first my cell, then the tech tried 2 cells then a land line. after 45 minutes, at least being there i said i had to go and they said could i come back, i said HELL NO. WHY DON'T THEY HAVE A DIRECT LINE TO CUSTOMER SERVICE, MAKES NO SENSE. i dialed 611 again today, sunday, got to speak to a person by saying i wanted to change my pass code, he called the account a "pods or plods", not sure, its what they call landlines now, and that department is not open on the weekend. read more
