I went to pick up my new phone yesterday at 12pm and there was a sign in the door saying they were closed1pm I came back at 1 it said 2pm then I waited until 3 , I returned at that time and no one was there and when I called the store corporate told me that there was no one clocked in to man the store. I asked the person on the phone if I could go to another store and they said sure, I went to another store and they said I couldn't complete my transaction because the 1st store I ordered from was a franchise store not a corporate store. After I calmed myself down I went to another store by the Bella Terra mall and they helped me right away. I spoke to an employee the next day and he informed the manager was working there the day before but he was not in. Robbed $126!! I went into this store to purchase a SIM card for a hotspot because I was traveling internationally to Brazil. Both the manager Justin and the sales rep. Paul informed me that the SIM card would work in Brazil. Unfortunately, on my first day in Brazil, my hotspot did not work! I called in to AT&T customer care and they informed me that their SIM card would not work in Brazil. So I canceled the SIM card immediately and the AT&T customer care informed me to check my bill to ensure that I wouldn't be charged the $30 activation charge and that she would cancel the SIM card. Then, when I received my bill, I was charged over $126 for a SIM card that was never used! When I went to dispute the charge, every representative can confirm that the SIM card had zero usage but could do nothing about the charge! $126 for a SIM card that I couldn't use and AT&T confirmed had no usage!!!! Sounds logical?! Just lost a customer of 14 years! read more

Went there about 6 months ago to get the current promotion at the time of getting iPhone XR for $5/mo for 30 months after $15 statement credit when you activate a new line. The sales associate walks me to a the corner of the store and whispers that there is a better deal to get a free iPhone 11 which is not advertised and he would get in trouble if he offers it to existing customer; however it requires porting over a competitive line and trading in your old device. I didn't have a competitive mobile account so I told him I'll stick with my plan. He suggested that I drive across the street to T-mobile and buy a prepaid card For $43 incl tax to get a phone number and he'll do it. I did that and traded in a 128 Mb iPhone 7. He said it takes 2 statementS before the $25 Credit is applied to offset the 30 installments. He also gave me a sob story about being very slow and that this deal doesn't pay much commissions and asked to get some accessories to help him out for the favor which I did as a good Will. The first statement didn't have the credit as expected But had a bunch of bogus Charges he added without my consent or even mentioning them to me including Device insurance for $8/mo and trade up for $5/mo. I called customer service to get these removed. Second and 3rd month still no credit. I called the store and the same associate said he will check into it and escalate the issue. Fourth statement still no credit. And my trade in phone had no record or proof that they turned it in. I called customer service and they said I will need To sort it out with the store. I called the store and the guy no longer worked there! So that was his plan all along - just a scam or bait and switch. I drove over to the store to talk to the manager, Aaron. Aaron is the biggest Smirky jerk You could ever meet and has no concept about customer service. When I explained the story he smiled as it sounded like a story he heard many times before. He looked at my account and explained that I needed to have unlimited data plan to get that promotion. I explained that I would not have opted for that promotion if that was explained to me upfront. So he called the DM and came back telling me that the good news is the DM would honor the free phone if I upgraded to unlimited data. My response was that his only solution is not acceptable to me. So I asked for his DMs number or to have him call me. His rude response was I can't give you his number so either I upgrade or leave the store! So he was in on the scam and so was his DM and felt that he can bully customers to concede more and throw more money at their bait and switch scheme. He became more rude and aggressive when I demanded his DMs number. Avoid this store and certainly demand the promotion in writing if you don't take my advise. The salesperson never even gave me a receipt and claimed that I should get an email with the info. The only way I had the situation resolved was by sending a letter to the corporate And filing a litigation form which took another 2 months. Fortunately there was one person left at AT&T that made some sense. read more

Be careful when dealing with Romeo, the store manager. He is dishonest , misleading, conniving and unprofessional. I bought a phone from this store and he set up the purchase. Be sure to ask him, and insist, that he provide you with a hard copy of your monthly charges. He will tell you that he will send it via email. That's a lie. I never got one. The reason why I advise that you check your charges is because he added a $15 monthly insurance fee am a $5 "next up" fee without me knowing. He Is very conniving and dishonest. Read below for details. I'm an existing ATT customer so I went and upgraded my phone. After I purchased my new phone he told me to sign to his pad. Asked him why am I signing again. I already bought the phone. He said the signature is for my plan. I asked him if he made changes to my existing plan. He said "no", but he said that there is a $15 monthly insurance fee that is "mandatory" for a phone. I told him I'm deferring that insurance fee. He said, " you can't defer since it is mandatory". He said it is free for the first month, and then I need to call ATT and ask them to take it out after 30 days. That's a trigger for me that this guy is going to swindle me. So, I asked him to print my invoice so I can see the itemized charges, he just looked at me and said "everything will be in your email". I insisted, and he said "I will send everything to your email". At this point he already wasted 15 mins of going back and forth. For the sake of argument I let it be. The following day, I called ATT (611). ATT customer service personnel was so helpful and she explained to me that there were 2 additional monthly service that "Romio" added in my plan: a) $15 monthly insurance fee and b) a $5 next up fee. I asked customer service if the insurance is mandatory . She said it is not mandatory. I asked her if the first month is free. She said it is not. I asked her to take out the service which she did. Then, she asked if I wanted the next up fee. I told her that I don't know what that fee is for. Apparently "Romio" added the fee without asking me first. She explained what "next up" fee means. I told her that i am not interested and I asked her to take that service out. She has to put me on hold. She came back and said that since it was added, I can either a) go back to the store and have them rescind it, or b) wait 14 days and l call "611" and ask to take it out and get a credit back. I don't want to go on the store so I will wait 14 days and call again. Please note that this complaint is about the manager only. He is unprofessional, misleading, and provided poor customer service. Also note, that he smokes his vape inside the store in 3 occasions. Now I Have to deal with att to be sure that these fees that Romio added will not show up. I have to watch my account for the next 30 days and spend and waste time fixing my account because of the dishonesty and greediness and I unprofessionalism of this store manager. This is a franchise store, not an official store. I typically avoid such stores exactly for reasons like the below. I visited the store wanting to switch my iPhone max to esim. Brandon, the manager and sole person working, was helping someone when I arrived so I waited for 5 minutes before I was approached. When I he approached, I explained my goal and Brandon advised the original box would be needed to get the esim and imei. I know the iemi info can be found through the settings so I advised Brandon of this. He then agreed that the imei was attainable without the box but said he was new to esim. I then asked if he could make the swap to esim or not. He responded, 'I can but not if you are going to be rude to me'. I was surprised to be treated this way in a retail environment, especially by a manager. The regular insults and profanity began to flow and I was happy to respond similarly. Brandon told me how much a looser I was. When I responded that I made mid 7 figures, owned multiple businesses and my watch costs more than his yearly salary, he advised my watch was fake, he was only 22 years old and I was a real tough guy. My goal was not to be nice though everything I said was true. Brandon is rude, incompetent and a thin skinned snowflake type. I went to this store to buy a phone out right. Which they said I couldn't do had to put it on a plan and then I could pay it off two weeks later which they couldn't explain as to why. But I needed a phone for my son. Due to vivid everything was done fast and without a whole lot of personalization. They took his old phone in and said their was an upgrade fee one time but they would wave that due to the trade. Well a month and a half later I get the bill. Upgrade fee still there (I kind of expected that I would be fighting to remove it) and two fees relating to a monthly insurance fee $15/month extra which I didn't have before and they didn't let me know they were adding to my bill.
