Bad customer service when you return the item, I purchase a watch there but decided to cancel within the 30 days and I just notice my bill that I was being charge for 9 months on the watch which I return it to the store. Call att support on the dispute department and no help there, they can only disconnect that line and was told to go back to the store to get the credit issue back to my account. Such a hassle....Think I'm switching to a different provider. I've been with ATT for over 5 years and it's time for a change.... read more

Try to avoid Ronald at AT&T in the Palladio. He was so condescending from the moment I walked in the store. Seemed like he was trying to be funny in front of his coworkers or something, but he just came off childish and unpleasant. All I asked for was him to help me unlock my phone after I had been told it was unlocked via customer service twice. I tried to explain that I already spoke to two AT&T reps who claimed it was unlocked, hence the in-store visit! He told me to do it at home myself and made me feel idiotic for even asking for help. Rate the store/service a hard 4 and AT&T and low 3. Not always a big fan of AT&T and the price structure they run. The upgrade and insurance plans are not customer friendly. iPhone 6 Plus started messing up shortly after the "warranty" was up. His phone couldn't take regular calls and all calls had to be answered on speaker phone. For $200 they will send you a refurbished phone but you have to send your fully paid phone back. How does that make sense? So he dealt with this phone like that for nearly 2 years until the touch screen stopped working. Which is what brought us into this store to get a new phone. Kevin helped us out. Nice guy. We told him we wanted the 8 plus and to see about adding more data as the plan we have goes over by 1 or 2 gigs every month. Kevin confirm that they have the phone we wanted in and said they no longer do tiered plans on the gigabytes you can either get 10 gig 20 gig or unlimited. We get a discount from our company if you get unlimited there's no discount which adds another $40 a month to your bill. Decided to pass on the extra gigs. Until we asked about the Direct TV now. If you bump up to the unlimited plan you get a free Apple TV paid in full for the first three months. It worked out because we can now cancel out $120 Dish payment! Still not excited about taking out a loan to have a cell phone lol. read more

I went into this location to ask a simple question about my account. They were not too busy though 3 people were working with 1 customer. Myself and one another waited to be greeted and checked in by an associate. In addition there were two people that were already seated waiting to be helped. Waited around 10 minutes before losing hope and walking out. Now I am not impatient nor would I write a review on that alone. As myself and one other were waiting a third person walked through the door. 1 of the 3 associates dropped what they were doing to greet them/ add them to the waiting list. They blatantly ignored their two prior waiting customers. This was experience was terrible. If you want help you're better off driving to Roseville. read more

If you are expecting fast, friendly service- avoid this location. Went in to pick up a phone I already ordered and paid for online thinking it was easier to pick up the phone myself rather than waiting for it to ship. I walk in and immediately put on a list. I was the only name on the list. They sat me in the corner and ignored me for a half an hour. I watched other employees wonder aimlessly or just sitting around. After 30 mins of nothing- finally someone came to get my phone. The whole transaction took less than 2 minutes. Probably would have been faster if the employee didn't take a leisurely stroll to the back to get the item. Why no one asked me why I was in the store and why no one offered to grab my phone in the back is a mystery. Another employee was just sitting waiting for a customers phone to finish updating. Time management and quality customer service is not a priority at this store. Skip this store. read more

Went to get a new iPhone and was told it would be an hour and a half wait but they would text us when it was time for our appointment. An hour and a half passed so we went back in. The manager said we missed our appointment and would have to start the queue over. She said they called but when we showed them the phone, she said they sent us a text but sometimes it doesn't work. I inquired, wait, you are AT&T but sometimes your text messages don't work? The manager said, yes, so what do you want to do and put us at the end of the queue. Even let us stay with our newborn and puppy to watch the rest of the World Series game while my phone finished backing up to clone. Everyone in that store is welcoming and kind. They were so patient to answer all of my questions and provide me the best options. Ethan was so helpful as he set up my new devices. He even went out of his way to show me functions I may be puzzled about after I left. We have been LOYAL AT&T customers for hundreds of years (it seems!), and that may soon change. We had an appointment at the AT&T Palladio mall store in Folsom. We met with a woman who quickly identified herself as a "team leader" named Michelle. We were absolutely stunned at how rude, condescending and snippy she was to us from the start. Every question we tried to ask, she quickly cut us off before we could even finish asking the question. This resulted in us having to repeat the question, as she "guessed incorrectly" what we were TRYING to ask. This didn't phase her however, she continued to interrupt us mid-sentence with each subsequent question. I am shocked that she is in sales, and more shocked that someone made her a "team leader" (whatever that means). She was so very arrogant and keep making snide remarks when she spoke to us. Our experience was SO horrible, that we ended up leaving - with all five of our phones (and expired contracts!) We are seriously considering switching carriers as a result of her treatment of us. If AT&T feels it is acceptable to have rude people like this woman working for them, I can only assume they will lose many more customers. Who wants to be treated rudely by a company when you are trying to give them BUSINESS? Once a company starts treating their customers as rudely as this Michelle did, it is time to look elsewhere. There was no reason for her talk to us in such a demeaning manner. Whatever her issue was, she should not have taken it out on us. Companies need to realize their customers bring them their profit. All in all my wait time was over 2.5 hours for a service that took 14 mins(needed SIM cards switched). The original check in guy had told us 30 mins. People, like myself, actually believed him. Helpful tips: 1) Make an appointment! Make an appointment and come on time. I was five minutes late and we got bumped off. If you come on time and there's no associate to help you. You have the golden ticket for the next associate. 2) Be persistent. These people could care less that you're waiting for their service. We continually reminded them that we were there, with an appointment, waiting. Overall, the staff will not make eye contact with you unless they're helping you directly. I actually noticed they refuse to look at the poor souls waiting around. We watched the manager, Anthony, walk back and forth from the back room and it wasn't until we complained to the 3rd line check in staff about our situation that we finally get Anthony's attention. It's unbelievable because you're giving them business so you'd think they would be more helpful. He seemed slightly sympathetic but not really. Apparently it's always like this? Store blatantly misrepresents how good their coverage is. Lloyd said they have the best coverage in our area. Laura, a manager, said, "he is new." Oh, so new employees can lie? AT&T fine print says being misled is not good enough reason to let us out of our contract. After being misled more than once, it feels I am being lied to. I was also on hold for an entire hour without being checked on once. That doesn't happen, per Laura, but it did. Maybe one of the tablet holders could pick up a phone. read more

When I walked in I could tell they were short staffed and all of the sales associates were helping other customers but I was still greeted right away and put on the waitlist as a walk in. I was on my way to work and in a hurry so I asked how long it would be to see someone to just switch from my FirstNet account to the ATT consumer (because FirstNet is REALLY slow imo). The manager, Collin, who is also the one who greeted and checked me in told me it would be about 20-30 mins. Not a big deal. I think he could sense my anxiety because he jumped in and took care of my situation without any pressure of having to upsell me on products I didn't need. I was even able to make it to work on time :) in between switching my plans and working on my account, he was also helping other employees and quickly tending to other walk ins which is very refreshing to see... such great teamwork on a busy day. Well organized location and fancy. I had issues with my dual sim phone and had issues receiving calls and had "Sim Error" issue. There were many technician here and they couldn't resolve it. I had this in my phone and my wife's phone and twice in this location they were not able to sort out. I had to take to another location and they were able to sort it out quickly - it saved me from buying a new phone and hassle. Some staffers in this store are highly incompetent including an incompetent management. They have no respect for customer's time and are stubborn as a mule when it comes to listening and understanding your problem. If you ask to speak to the management to reason out your problem, you have to deal with an even greater disappointment because the management is deficient and will choose to side with the staff over trying to reason out the customer. There are long wait times without relief and poor poor customer handling. I will choose to use the AT&T phone customer service over this anytime. read more

Associates at this store are trained to add products and services to your account that you did not authorize. Even after telling them "no" they will still appear on your AT&T bill causing you to have to wait in hold with AT&T for a long time to have them removed. read more

I live 2 hours away and needed a working phone for my drive home. Carlos gave me exceptional service while I was in this store. I had a difficult phone, and Carlos was not giving up, even after an hour of trying. Then, during his last attempt one of his "team members" told him he was wasting his time and it wasn't going to work (not very "team" oriented if you ask me), BUT Carlos tried it anyway and IT WORKED. Came in to exchange an iPhone that was purchased online. I had purchased an 11 Pro MAX not realizing the screen was larger than the 11 Pro. Before I received the phone in the mail I called customer and was told that I can easily take the phone in store and exchange it without any fees. Today when I made my appointment I called the store to verify the phone was available and explained my situation mentioning that I purchased the phone online, never at any point was a fee mentioned during the conversation. So when I arrive for my appointment I'm only then told that in order to make an exchange they will charge me a restocking fee of $50. The employee was nice and ready to help me. He told the manager what I explained to him about my call to customer service, and I was told by the manager that they are unaware why customer service tells people this but they cannot take the exchange in store without charging a fee when it's purchased online. He said he cannot help me and gave no further explanation. He acknowledged this happens but was unable to follow up with any type of resolution. I could've easily returned my phone through the mail and avoided making a trip to the store. He did not ask me for any information about who I spoke with from his store. I would have liked for him to have been more accountable and reassure me that he will help correct this type of situation from happening to more people. read more

Not sure what is happening to this store and the personnel but my experience here was very bad. I've been an ATT customer for 25 years and this was the worst experience I had. I came in to upgrade my iPhone and wanted to buy it outright. The rep told me I could not buy the phone outright. He didn't make any effort to help me, even considering I had been waiting for a while, in pandemic times, inside a store. He Didn't offer me to buy it at att online store while I was there, so I had to go home; order it and come back. He even Told me to go to Best Buy or Apple and not once mentioned the Att store! When I came back home, I reached for att chat customer support (they were actually helpful) and they told me I should have been offered the option to order online while at the store. So I ordered online with pickup at this store. When I picked up the phone, I felt rushed and the rep was not friendly. They made it feel like they were doing me a favor. Told me the phone would be ready to make calls once I completed restore at home, but when I came home it didn't. I had to spend another hour on chat support to finally activate the phone. Would not recommend this store. Seems like they make no effort to keep existing customers happy. Save yourself some time and order online and activate online. This whole experience was so bad it finally has me considering a switch out of ATT after 25 years. read more
