Avoid, avoid, avoid! These guys should be in jail for bait & switch! Blatantly deceptive salespeople. Husband & I went in this past weekend to upgrade our iPhones. We made it very clear we had two existing lines through AT&T. The salesman explained they had a Buy One Get One deal on iPhones that would save us $25 a month (first phone would be $25, 2nd phone would be free). Sounds perfect, right? We happily picked out our new phones & sat down to do the paperwork, and oh guess what? To get the "deal" we had to add a line. We don't NEED to add a line, we made it VERY CLEAR we had two existing lines, that's why we need two phones. Well, in that case, we need to pay an additional $25 MONTHLY FEE FOR NOT ADDING A LINE. What? How is that a deal? Spoiler alert: it's not, and these dudes will lie their faces off to make a sale. Completely dishonest, do not trust them! read more

She even put the screen protector on for me, paid me to turn in my old cracked phone, and changed our insurance plan to save money. Wasn't crowded and ample parking. read more

Emilio is the only reason why I will ever visit this place ever again. There are times when this place is dead, make sure you visit at that time, because the wait will exceed up to a half hour or more. I ordered my iPhone through them because they did not have the one I wanted in stock. It didn't take as long as I thought it would have, so I was surprised when the store got it. The store did not call me to let me know it was there, I had to keep checking UPS tracking. I called the store to ask if I could come during my lunch hour to have them activate it for me, the guy on the phone told me I could come in and to call them a little bit before so they could get it out of the back and get it ready for me. I called close to when I would be coming in and another girl told me that I had to come in and go on the wait list. I was not going to argue with her about it because I know what was told to me. Needless to say, I waited for 25 minutes just to have them go to the back, take my phone, and get it activated. I will say that the girl that helped me was super nice and apologetic about what had happened earlier. I just wanted to get my phone and get out of there. Total wait time was 25ish minutes, time to get my phone activated was no more than 10 minutes. Emilio was the person that helped me when I was ordering my new phone for the upgrade. He went out of his way to see if we could save money on our current plan and answered all of my questions. Parking here is shared with Chipotle and very popular Taylor's Steakhouse, so parking gets congested a lot. The wait here sucks, but the people here are pretty cool. Not sure why appointments are even recommended, I remember when you could just walk in and get help, but if you are on a timed schedule, calling to make an appointment is highly suggested. read more

Plenty of parking, a spacious store and 3 attentive sales representatives. My ailing GoPhone and hpelessly locked SIM card were replaced quickly at no charge by Lucio and new employee Brenda. I gave the manager a shot at being customer friendly but she told me go ahead and leave a negative review she didn't care. Call 611 if I had more comments. The sales people here are rude and pushy. They try to hurry you into buying expensive plans and they get angry when you ask them questions about the numbers. I had one salesman Robert that kept saying "Do I have to repeat that again, I already told you" all while grimacing and looking at me like like I was a moron. After losing my phone on a roller coaster, I visited the La Canada location to see what my options were since our family's current plan wasn't eligible for an upgrade just yet. Not only did Eric Pereira, Lead Sales Consultant, re-work our plan to make us eligible for a discount on a new phone, he found a way for us to reduce our monthly plan cost by $30, saved us money upon switching over the tablet account from another provider, got us a service credit AND helped us obtain a micro cell to help us get better reception in our home. My husband was impressed, and he's quite the frugal shopper. The in-store wait was short, and the surroundings comfortable. Eric is personable, knowledgeable and efficient. You are better off ordering the items and plans online so you are better informed in what you are getting. Was rushed into a new plan and phones with no explanation. If we would have ordered online to pick at up at store we would have gotten a lot better deal for the same plan and phones. Wish we would have been able to return the phones and start over to get the visa gift cards but unlike other major companies they rather have you on hold for hours on end. As soon as I can pay my phones off I am no longer an ATT customer and I will let my family and friends know to not do business with them. read more

I just left this store with 2 brand new phones. One for me and one for my 10 year old for her Xmas present. The sales person Robert assured me that my phone would still work until I replace the SIM card. No problem. I left and my phone had no service what so ever. I quickly went back and got there at 906 pm. Manager walks to the door and tells me they are closed. I tell her I need to speak to Robert and ask him a questions and she replies back saying I won't let you talk to him. Come back tomorrow and she Shuts the Security Blinds down on my face. He said "it is not in benefit for the store to help the customer" considering the fact that just brought an additional line and picked up 2 $700 phones from them. I had a problem with my at&t bill and had no satisfaction talking to customer service so I went to the La Canada at&t store. I spoke with the general manager Robert Mondoza he was great. He greeted me as I walked in. I explained to him my bill problem and he called customer service for me and helped me. As I was waiting for him while he made the call customers started coming in the store and he greeted everyone and assured them that they would be helped soon. As he was on hold waiting for customer service he helped a lady return an item. He continued to greet customers and help me too. I was impressed how he handled himself doing two things at one time and smiling through it all. He helped me resolve my problem and apologize for any inconvenience. At most big city service tech. stores, it's a must to have an apt. during hush hrs. The techies are usually running from one customer to the next. Fortunately for the La Canada AT&T store, those hrs. are only late afternoon -after work hrs.- or on weekends. For the most part I've been able to have a techie assigned to me within less than 10 min. on the worst days without an appt. That's fabulous. Iv'e also been supper impressed with the tech knowledge of these guys, especially Precy, who is soooo very caring as well. She'll remember you and your problem or issues for weeks which is so very unusual. She's great. The one thing that I don't like about the store is that they don't have an answering service for when all their techies are with customers. NOT good. So my sister came from Russia about 8 months ago with her phone which had a big scratch on the screen. We went here to get a SIM card for her phone , we were helped by very lovely girl . Only today I figured out I was paying 10$ insurance fee for all those 8 months for that old broken phone insurance won't even cover it , it was that old . Next time you want to charge someone for the service they don't need I would advise you to tell them . read more

Stay away from here! Disclaimer: this review is for my experience at this store on November 2016. I ordered a phone online and selected "pick up at store". So I paid for it and everything, all I had to do is pick it up. When I got there they told me there is no way I could do it because they no longer subsidize phones. I tried to explain to them that the process is complete I just need to pick up the phone. Long story short I had to call ATT customer service and they finally helped the ingrates at that store figure it out. Funny thing is they had the gall to actually blame the ATT rep, and act like they saved the day. I probably spent upwards of 2 hours doing what should have taken 5 minutes. read more

Let me start by saying I've tried over and over again to let ATT fix their problems but it's to no avail. if you are in the La Canada / Montrose area and are looking for a cell phone / internet service / television provider. Andre sold me a tablet with promotion of waiving activation fee, but couldn't be done until charge appeared on bill, which it promptly did. I called to remind to please credit and told it would be done. Nothing. Called again and got an apology....but no credit yet. It's been three months. Can I give zero stars? Now I have been an AT&T customer for 10+ years. I have run into good AT&T stores and bad ones. This is the worst one. Went in yesterday to upgrade my iPhone 7. Was up sold on $100 battery case. The customer service rep picked the case out told me it was good for the phone and I went with it. He put the screen protector that he also sold me on. He also placed the phone into the case. I left happy as a clam. Now fast forward I get to work and happened to look at the camera on the phone. The case is clearly covering part of the camera. Since I still had my iPhone 6s I quickly put the case on and realized he sold me a 6S case not a seven case. Now this is not a big deal. It's an inconvenience, but nothing major. I figure I'll stop in on my way to work and exchange it. Fast forward I walk in today with my receipt and all of the packaging ready to exchange. As I walk in I hear a sales associate on the phone with somebody saying "I'm not going to argue with you you can come in here if you have a problem!" I think nothing of it and walk up to the counter. I explain the situation and he asked me for my ID. I told him I have the receipt I paid in cash and that I just wanted to exchange. He starts telling me that they don't sell the iPhone 7 case so I must've picked the wrong one. He goes on to say where you got that case from is only for iPhone sixes. First off I didn't get the case from anywhere. It was picked out by a sales associate for me. He then goes on to say he can't do anything for me since I don't have my ID and he does not have the The case I need. I explain I know my social sec and I know all my account details and again I have the receipt from the day before. I also have my phone in hand. The only other number on my account is my wife's and they could've called her to verify. And then. Here it comes. The sales associate says "I'm not going to argue with you ". I respond by saying didn't you just say that to somebody on the phone? I've been a customer for 10+ years since before the first iPhone. I'm upset at this point I'm wasting my time talking to some guy who obviously has the brain power of a 1980s cell phone. I took a picture of the guy and I'm going to email corporate. Look if your sales associate upsell's me the wrong thing. Installs it. Then makes it difficult for me to return it and simply get my money back. Well I'm calling bs on that. And please don't try and say you were protecting me.... if my phone is lost... or anyone's iphone7... something that costs 800 we all know at&t ain't helping get it back!
