If there is any way I can get away from AT&T and still have functioning cellphone service I'd jump at it. I have never been treated so badly, and when I became disabled, I didn't want sympathy, I wanted someone that knew their product. KENNY who works for AT&T smelled bad, looked worse, and couldn't answer my questions about my new cell phone. Walked in here yesterday and stood there for 5-8 mins before deciding to walk out because no one had even addressed us even though the same employee passed us as we walked both in and OUT. Sucks for them because I was ready to spend money on a new phone. The other times I have received service here, I'm there for almost 2 hours. I'm either waiting for someone to help or having to just repeatedly say no to all the nonsense they try to get you to buy as well. I dread this AT&T, absolutely dread. It's like, you're guaranteed to get pissed off and have a bad experience here. 1. You have to make an appointment for all transactions -- I can't even start to tell you how incredibly inefficient this system is. If this process was implemented by corporate AT&T, I'm sorry, but returning and item, purchasing an accessory, a simple inquiry about a phone, you MUST make an appointment, or wait at least an hour. Want to buy a case or return an item? YES, wait an hour. This happened to be me 3 times, what a waste of time, and incredibly inefficient. Quick transactions should be separate from phone sales. I got a "That's just how it is." 2. Not really an associate's fault, but there was a system crash error and I had to wait 2 hours to purchase my new phone. With waiting for my appointment and that whole buggy transaction, it was very difficult. -- The sale associate (Andres) tried to escalate the urgency of the situation to the manager, but the manager was too busy schmoozing with another customer. If your store is in a system crisis, do something about it. "Undivided attention" to a customer to make a commission should be taken lightly, especially when there is a purchasing system crisis. 3. I expect product upsell, I get it. But I specifically came back to this AT&T store and sales associate to give him commission from helping me out last time. There was a promotion going on "until Christmas" for a "free" promo LG tablet with a purchase of a smart phone. Sales: "So that will be $10 per month for that "free" tablet ($180 total with my 18 months)" Me: "I thought it was free with a purchase with my phone, I would just owe the taxes" (just like he had said the last time) Sales: "Nothing in this world is free" That's a pretty cold thing to say, considering you fed me BS about a "free" promotion. I also witnessed another lady sales associate told a customer to "hold on," because he was absolutely infuriated about his phone. She continued to organize some cases on the shelves to avoid him. I really don't know who to blame, since all the associates have a "there's nothing I can do" mentality toward infuriated and frustrated customers. Avoid at all costs, please. read more

I don't like this location at all. Normally, when I walk into the AT&T in Burbank, the protocol is to sign-in at the clipboard at the front of the room with the sign that say "Sign-In Here" or they have several happy smiling associates that greet you and ask you exactly what it is that you need help with. This place was not that easy to navigate through. There is NO place to sign in. You have to find an associate to log you into their computer system sign in. If it's busy in the store, no one tells you that is what you need to do. You walk around aimlessly until someone asks if your name is on the list. What list?! No one said anything about a list?! Then it just so happens that a few people who came in after me (who have obviously been there before) put their name on the list. I basically waited about 45 minutes to buy a $50.00 gift card for a Christmas gift! You guys need a better system over there or at least more employees. Also, the girl who finally helped me out was the worst at everything. She screwed up ringing up the gift card. I asked several questions about my own plan and she just looked at me aimlessly as she mumbled a few half-assed answers. read more

I was reluctant to step into this store after reading reviews, but I was on lunch and had limited options near work. Boy, I am I glad I came in. I was immediately acknowledged and asked if I needed to check in. I waited for the next rep (they were going through customers as efficiently and rapidly as possible) I was assisted by Brenda. She was AMAZINGLY polite, knowledgeable and even offered things I might need since i told her my life story about coming in today (adding a line for my video game happy son). This story really sucks..... Wish I can give them negative stars. This is my second time here, and like the first time I was 3rd in line. 3 customers in the entire store, 6 att associates. It took over 40 minutes for my turn to come, while 4 people are standing behind the registers doing absolutely nothing. All I wanted was a SIM card. read more

I usually only write reviews for food but I had an EXCELLENT experience today with Coby. My husband & I have AT&T for our mobile phones but wanted to add AT&T for our internet in our new office. I had called in and Coby was so nice over the phone and had me come in store to get all signed up for business internet. He went above and beyond and although I got there close to closing time, he stayed 30 min past closing to finish everything up and make sure we were all set. He manually had to set up our account because there were a few issues but he worked around them and had a fix for everything that came up. He was so knowledgeable when I was asking about AT&T internet vs Charter Spectrum which is what we previously had. Also- in terms of coronavirus safety, the store as a whole was extremely clean, only a few people in, plexi glass at checkout, sanitizing the counter after each person. What a great experience. I was totally dreading setting up a new internet account and Coby was so helpful and easy to work with! read more

The only reason I gave one star is bc the original person who greeted my mother and I was very kind and not at all pushy. I went in to try and get a new phone without messing with my father's current plan/contract or getting unnecessary items. However the other guy who jumped in to help the first guy was very rude. He became very argumentative with my mother. And became very pushy and berated both of us bc we did not want to do a new plan with items we didn't want. Needless to say we left. Lucio made a contract and broke it. Deleted all information off of Samsung that I was trading for an Iphone, and I deleted all information after Lucio had agreement. Ryan Thompson, so called manager, would not honor AT&T's contract with it customer, me. His boss, Mike Capra never called me to settle the matter. This store is not good. Also before you buy anything, tell them to check their inventory as while there several people had to go elsewhere as they said they had an item, but did not have. read more

I had to wait in line for service but the guy behind the counter (the manager?) took a walk-in. When I approached him he rudely told me he was just answering questions. Being a lifelong customer of AT&T, I have come to realize some things: 1. Their CSR's are lethargic but they get the job done. 2. One the customer works out the kinks in their phone line it's pretty much smooth sailing. And... 3. They always seem to make things right, at the end of the day, if you have the time. Which I do. Louis Salazar literally spent hours finding out what was wrong with the phone, made recommendations on what my options were and helped me get the most value and operation from my phone. People make a company and Louis truly made the La Canada ATT store a great place to do business with. read more

My cousin wanted a smart watch (lg G3 r... I think) so at approximately 1030 hours I called this location to see if they had it in stock. I spoke with Brenda and she informed me that they were out of stock; however, she informed me that they could get one from another AT&T location to their store at approximately 1300 hours. I informed her that the phone is originally $300 but online... the price is $253.99. I asked if they were able to match the price and she stated, "Yes." At approximately 1300 hours, I arrived to the location with my cousin. I made contact with Brenda and she appeared to be energetic and happy. She brought out the phone and stated that she was going to apply the discount. Several minutes later, she informed me that I was unable to receive the discount because I am not an AT&T customer. She stated that she would try her best to get the discount. So she attempted to apply the discount for me with her manager. She came out of the back room and stated that they cannot apply the discount; however, they will give us a discount on a case. In addition, she gave us an additional $5 discount for us waiting a long time. Overall, she went above and beyond to make things work out for us. Even though she was unable to apply the discount, I am very satisfied for her trying her best and also giving us the discount for a cell phone case. I have only been here once and I must say that I left completely satisfied with a big smile. Thank you Brenda and manager for making my experience a good one. read more

I had to get the new iPhone 6 Plus. This store is closest. I got there when it was not too busy thankfully because after that the place was hopping! Harut M was super helpful and answered my questions well. I was treated very well and was thankful to have time enough to add service, buy new devices and he never made me feel rushed. In listening to the other 4-5 staff it seemed they triaged customers quickly and were equally polite and genuine. I recommend this team who seemed to work together well. read more

This is about the company AT&T rather than the store. I'm giving one star because "0" is not an option. The most dishonest company with whom I've ever dealt. They are so bad and so dishonest when they required an account number and routing number to pay by check I walked out to get cash. There is no possibility I want this company to have that information. Beware, don't even think about having your cell, internet or cable service with them, you will forever regret it. THIEVES!!!!! I was lied to and RIPPED off. I went to purchase a new phone when my service was switched and I was billed for TWICE as much (from $200 to $400 per month - just for the service, not the phone) for service that I DID NOT ASK FOR and DID NOT NEED. Unlimited minutes for someone who NEVER went over the plan limit. Did I ask for that? No. Was I told about this? No. When I asked if my service would cost the same with the new phone I was told that it would be even LESS. I didn't even know about the theft/switch until I got the bill. I tried to rectify this and guess what? The buck got passed from customer "service" to Customer "loyalty" group then back to the store where there was "no manager at the moment". The person at the store told me they couldn't do anything about it even if there was a manager. Of course, this took HOURS of my time. 5 phone calls. And, guess what? NO JUSTICE. Nothing was done. Tough luck. Really? I've been LIED to. I've been ROBBED. This review is my ONLY solace. I would post a photo of my middle finger but I assume that it would be taken down. As most of you are aware, the new Apple Iphone 4S was released on October 14, 2011. I wanted to get one so I decided to pre-order through att.com but it estimated delivery between 2-3 weeks...No Thanks. So I decided to try to get one in the store. After waking up Fri morning (release day), I discovered through friends, etc that there were literally hours of lines at both the Apple and ATT stores in Glendale. Right about then, I remembered a small, hidden ATT store I always pass by on Foothill in La Canada. Next thing I know I called them and discovered there was virtually no line at that particular store. 20 minutes later I am at the store being kindly helped by Kevin and I am in and out in no time. Definitely, my go to ATT store from now on. read more

Lousy service! I gave up waiting after 15 minutes. Only one employee was available to help customers. He was so busy upselling a customer that he had no time for anybody else. Another employee stood idly by while half a dozen customers waited. Expect to spend several hours waiting and get lousy service when your turn is up. Worst location ever, AT&T management is so pour that they do not know what is going on in their store at the La Canada location. I called to check on inventory and they just picked up and put me on hold, it took 17 minutes and mean time I drove there still on hold, walked in to see the workers are just standing there doing nothing. I asked why they are not picking up the phone and their answer was well we are with customers. Bull crap if anyone was with anyone. My husband and I went to the La Canada store because we have purchased 3 phones on different occasions at this store. There were 4-5 staff who sat there who didn't seem to care we were there -- didn't offer help. We will never come back to La Canada AT&T again and immediately went to the Eagle Rock store where they were extremely help and needless to say we bought a new phone and will switch our purchasing to a location that is interested in helping customers read more

be very carefull what you sign up for. Some of these folks are crooks. They will sign you up with multiple accounts with one address through a loophole they have with assigning your address as a small business. My elder parents had 3 accounts in one household. I had to spend 4 hours on the phone with at&t to clear this up. Once you sign up at the store level they provide no further service and tell you they can't access it anymore but they can look to see if there is a better deal which is where they get you. Super shady folks here. Buyer beware. Honestly lost all my business including my business accounts. I'll switch to verizon and use Amazon fire or Apple TV so much better, cheaper and no contract or weird charges. read more

Had a major problem with my out-of-warranty iPhone 6S Plus. These guys were just awesome in walking me they the whole process of determining that the phone was dead, in helping me determine if I had insurance on it (I did!), and then how to contact the insurance with a claim. Had my new replacement phone via FEDEX Overnight the next day and then back to ATT for activation. Outstanding customer service thru this whole trying process! read more

This AT&T store is terrible. The one time I've been there I just needed to add an international plan to my phone for a one month trip to Canada. First, I had to wait 20-30 minutes just to talk to someone and then once I did, the guy that I got completely lied to me. He told me that I could add an international plan for 1 month and pay for it ahead of time and that then it would be taken off my bill automatically. Instead, it stayed on my bill every month until I called to have it removed. Also, the extra changes for roaming were a lot more than he said it would be with the plan. Basically their international plans are a useless ripoff and their employees at At&t are useless as well. Do NOT trust this terrible store. They should go out of business if they can't train their employees with proper information that's up to date and accurate. read more
