Seeing positive reviews of this Verizon store is frankly baffling and makes me further question Verizon's SOPs at their stores across the board. I went in late September speaking with a female store rep about upgrading my Google Pixel 6 and she presented me with two options: the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL or Google Fold. After about a day or so, I figured I'd go with the Pixel 9 Pro XL for the better battery, processor and larger screen. She told me that I would have to upgrade my plan to get the $1000 credit, which I agreed to and received a nominal $5 increase to my monthly bill. (Later I found out that this was a change in Verizon's Autopay policy, which wasn't communicated to me at the time as I thought I had already been switched to the plan for the $1000 credit). I forget where but I was notified that the phone delivery would be delayed because of a severe back order because there were others that also liked the $1000 off. I let them know that I was changing job locations and they notified me that I would get a call from them when the phone arrived so I could pick it up on whatever weekend. Here's where things take a downturn. A week later after my new job started on 11/04, I check the delivery notification from UPS and it said that the phone was already delivered. Great. Weird that they didn't call me but I'll just go over and pick it up since I am in the area. We speak with a different male store rep on the weekend and he says that the phone is still not there and that we will call when it arrives. I mention the UPS notification but he shrugs and it's a dead-end. (I did not see the Steve name on the UPS delivery until a month later so that could have been the rep's name? I don't know and I don't care to know). Which brings us to yesterday and today. I saw on my Verizon account, the Ship date was 11/29/2024, which was the date provided when I made the purchase initially. I was away for the holidays/out of town so I thought I'd missed it but was at least expecting a call to set up the pick-up and finalize the purchase, given how often I'd checked in. Nothing. I reach out to Verizon's chat representative and find out that my phone was received by someone named Steve, which reflected the UPS Tracking notification. (Picture Provided) Come to find out that nothing was done, even though the order number was generated upon the day/time of purchase. I wasn't even upgraded to the Verizon's Unlimited Ultimate plan for the $1000 credit and was told repeatedly "it'll be here any day now." The Verizon chat representative did everything in his power to get me the phone, getting me as many deals as possible so none of the review content reflects upon him and he is the sole reason I am even considering staying a Verizon customer. I eventually decided to not even bother with the phone anymore and keep my Pixel 6 because I was so tired and wanted to be done. What bothers me throughout all of this is the consistent, unfettered, and profuse lying that I experienced with every single interaction from this Verizon Store's customer service representatives. It is the bare minimum expectation when I give a company/service money (or at least am willing to) that I receive something in return. This store cost Verizon a phone purchase, increased recurring funds from a loyal customer and, me, my time. In the future, I will save my purchases for the actual Google online store because dealing with so many third parties is exhausting. So unless you have the item physically in your hands, do not induce yet another headache into your lives. I always write these Yelp reviews to inform others of gross negligence and because I figure that if it happened to me, it is going to happen to another customer - if it hasn't already. read more

However, as you see the other dude doesnt even look and ask anything when the customer comes in, just be on his phone even when people are standing while the other lady is working.(i made 2 visits same day) I had to go ask for help, when he was not even trying to make an eye contact, figure out the issue all I could hear was bring it to the company store theres nothing i can do... i searches some solution online and showed him and then he just walked in.. lol dude wake up! Why are you even here then? I still had to replace my Sim card so I went to the Verizon store down the street from me. Lazy enough to mark the order is ready on the system so customers will get notified on the app that their order is ready for pickup! I called them after 24 hours no response, left a voicemail, after two hours got missed call and again lazy enough even to leave a voicemail to let the customer know about the status of the order??? And unfortunately afterwords when I went to the store it was a 6:45 pm and still didn't get lucky to get my new phone since the guy was eager to go home and when I asked for my order without even asking for name and the order number he said "we have no order here" And when he felt that his strategy wasn't working he asked me for my drivers license and then he brought the phone yet he tried another excuse not to release my phone to me and got busy keep playing and texting on his phone instead to try to help the customer ??? I came in here looking to see if there were deals available to trade-in my old iPhone for a newer one. Upon walking in, I noticed the only service rep (young, blond hair, don't know his name) was on his phone. He told me he was helping another client and that I should wait, yet it was obvious he was calling about support for his own phone! Literally, while on the clock, he was having me (a potential customer) wait as he called support to get help on his OWN phone. I know he was lying and not helping a customer because he literally was having the conversation on speaker. I was blown away. It makes me wonder if the owner realizes this kid that they hired is making them look terrible. I don't normally leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to call out bad behavior like this. I quickly left and re-routed to another Verizon Authorized Retailer who I could take more seriously. read more

I worked with Ryan to transition me and my two family members over to Verizon from T-mobile. He definitely spent a lot of time helping us with the transition and I'm largely happy with the end result, but due to my having to leave the state for a month we weren't able to smoothly capitalize on the promotion we were promised when we signed up. Some of that could be Verizon, and I'm positive some of it is what was communicated to us. All things considered, I'm still waiting on some of the transfer benefits, and feel a little left "hanging," regarding figuring out how to get the benefits; however Ryan was very patient and did give us a lot of time and hard work, for which I'm grateful. read more

I hope I'm no butchering anyones name, but Antwon was a nightmare to work with about a week ago & today I had to deal with Ramire. You read that right, I had to DEAL with them. I have been a Verizon customer for 12+ years. I have never had an issue nor have I been disrespected the way I have been by these employees. My sister went in to trade in her phone and upgrade from an iPhone X and get the iPhone 12. She purchased the 12 Pro and was told she can take her X home to transfer all data and return it to Verizon through the website portal. My sister came home and we were unable to switch info as her screen was dark. She went to the iPhone store and they notified her that all the information she was given was false. I called Antwon back so I can get another brief explination of how to move forward. He proceeded to speak in a low tone with short answers like "Up" "Nope" "Its out of my hands" type of attitude. Waited a week, my sister went back in to see if someone else can help her. She spoke with Ramire. He was of no help. "go to the Verizon link". I'm not incompetent and I have done many upgrades via stores and through the Verizon services via landline. I have no come across purchasing the phone through a store location then returning the old phone. The Verizon website was of no help. To not annoy Ramire (because that was his tone of voice) I called Verizon Wireless and was on hold for 45 min. Once a tech picked up, they sent me a link. Unfortunately the link did not help because it continued asking for an upgrade first. I called Ramire at that point to see if he can guide me through the website as I had no luck. Not only was he angry, but began to talk over me as I'm trying to explain what was coming up on the screen. This is NOT how you treat customers that Purchase an item from your store. I had an issue with transferring my service to Verizon over the phone. My phone was disconnected for 2 hours and I decided to go the Verizon Store on Verdugo Rd. Luckily, a young lady named Adriana was there to assist me through my issue. She was very patient, helpful and provided exceptional customer service. She was able to call tech support. Secure my line. Found a SIM card for me to use (They were running low on SIM cards due to a recent family promotion but she still looked around and somehow was able to find it). She stayed with me and somehow we were able to troubleshoot and get through the ordeal. Thank you Adriana!! read more

I came in here after having trouble with Verizon via support and at other Verizon locations. My line had been switched and misrepresented between the two lines on my account and was going to cause me troubles upgrading. But I came into this location and a woman helped me (I didn't get her name!) through all of it. She made it super easy and fixed my problems. She was very clear, concise, and professional. I enjoyed chatting with her as well as we waited for my phone to update. I really have never had this great of an experience with Verizon or any store but this was superb. I hope she continues working here because I don't want to get help with anything related to my phone or upgrades without her! read more

First off, dishonest and lacks transparency. Doesn't present all options. All I wanted to do was add an additional line to my account. Instead they upgraded my plan without explicitly saying so (which I wouldn't have agreed to) and told me that if I add on a hotspot to my plan, I would be paying less in my total. Without knowing that there was an upgrade on my plan, we agreed to the hotspot. Still feeling unsure of how it all works, I called Verizon corporate and confirmed that hotspot has no impact on pricing. So we went back to the store to return it which was literally less than two hours later. They told me I need to pay $70 restocking fee to return now or gotta get thru one billing cycle and pay the hotspot monthly fee of $20 before cancelling. They basically told me "which fee do you want to pay?" Why should I pay for either when they're the ones who misled and hid information the entire time? When we said we won't be paying for either for the reasons stated above, the next guy over, Corey said "WE ARE SALESPEOPLE. We are going to sell you things. We are NOT customer service" in their defense. So be aware, if you run into a problem, they'll come at you with "we're salespeople, not customer service!" Completely dishonest and snake if you ask me. read more

Update: The person in charge of this store actually gave me a phone call and apologized and asked if he could give me a screen protector for free to make it right. And since I had already bought one I declined, but he still wanted to make it right so instead he gave me a brand new phone case. I really do appreciate that! The guy helping us was very patient with him and was able to listen to the messages and determine there was nothing wrong with the phone and it was something wrong from the caller's end. This is not a corporate Verizon store. It is some type of authorized retailer. Do not shop here. It is a very shady operation, and they have no respect for customers. I bought a new iPhone at this store. The store's employee found that the phone was defective when he attempted to activate it. In particular, the phone was incapable of placing a call. However, even though I just bought the phone, an employee told me that it was not his problem that they sold me a defective phone. Rather, the employee told me it was my problem and that I should take the phone to another Verizon store or to an Apple store to get help. This employee said he was doing me a favor even helping me. Another employee also repeatedly complained about having to assist me. It was unreal, especially after having just paid $1,250 for a defective phone. After arguing about the situation for literally hours, they finally agreed to provide a refund. Yet, this employee attempted to steal $50 from me. Specifically, when processing the refund, he told me that he couldn't figure out why the computer was somehow only permitting a refund that was for $50 less than what I originally paid. I looked at the computer screen and found, unsurprisingly, that he was lying. The screen clearly said that he was attempting to withhold a $50 restocking fee. When caught, he said that it was his manager's policy to not give refunds without withholding this restocking fee, even if the phone they sold was defective. When I asked him to call the store's manager, he refused. Eventually, he said he would give me $50 cash from his wallet to cover the restocking fee, which was very shady. To say the least, this was just about the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and this employee arguable committed a crime by attempting to fraudulently steal money from me. read more

Bought a gizmo watch for my son over phone--couldn't activate it, spent hours with corporate customer service to no avail--sent me to LG who told me they don't make gizmo watches. I went in to my local dealer and Ani solved my problem quickly and was extremely helpful! She also informed me I was eligible for a loyalty reward discount that no one else had bothered to inform us of. I was ready to purchase a new phone and change my plan, and this was the store closest to me. First, there is very limited parking- its says parking in rear, and there are a few spots, but no entrance, so you have to walk around to the front. Husband dropped me off and he parked. When we entered i heard that their internet was down, so not much they could do. I realize its not their fault, but they were still not helpful. I told him (didn't get his name) i wanted to change my plan- I've been a customer over 15 years- and he said you can just do that by calling, you didn't need to come in. I didn't even get to the part about buying a phone, i was so turned off by these people, i left. He did one thing though- he added his phone number to my phone! We left and went to store in La Canada. 5 stars for La Canada! Parking excellent, vibe in store excellent! Immediately helped by Luis, who listened to me about what i wanted, explained it all, changed the plan, got my new phone which i love, transferred all my data and i walked out a very happy customer! Should've read the yelp page before I went to upgrade my iPhone but I fell victim to the same tablet scheme that many others on this page did. The manager Leo A. told me there was no catch when I specifically asked him if there was any hidden fees associated with this "promotional tablet" and he just lied straight to my face. Fast forward to my next billing cycle and there is now a tablet line access fee and device 1 of 24 payment due! Do not visit this store for any reason. This is not a company store. This store is staffed with bad salespeople who will take your money and the Verizon will refuse to back the promises made by this store. I went in to upgrade my old Samsung to S9. The salesman named Ilyas K. told me that new S9 came with free tablet or hotspot or HUM device. I said I did not any of these, he insisted that it was free there was no activation charge or monthly charge for one year. After that I would pay $10 a month if I wanted to keep internet connection on the tablet or hotspot. Guess what! He was either lying or totally ignorant. Verizon started charging me a monthly $10 fee right away, for two years. I am still fighting to get charges reversed. read more

Very angry at this store. We went in to add me to my husband's family plan and get a new phone. Salesperson upsold us on a "free" tablet, saying we'd be charged for it the first month and then it would be deducted on our second bill. That was a lie. We are now stuck with a tablet we do not want and parent company Verizon has very little they can do for us at this point. We were told that they would put a 'safety' mode on our data so we wouldn't get overage charges. We have overage charges for data. This retailed is in the business for a cheap profit via lies. They made promises and did not keep them in regards to exchanging phones. Told me they would exchange my phone later since they did not have the one I wanted in stock...then they did not! I walked to this Verizon store this evening (95 degrees) as I have been having trouble with my Verizon service dropping calls frequently. When I arrived at the store, I was told that the store could only allow 1 person in the store and that it would be a 30 minute wait. At this time, there wasn't anyone else in line. I asked if I could walk to a nearby store and return in 30 minutes and if I could go ahead and sign in so that when I return I wouldn't have to wait in line again. He said "no" because I could not go in front of other people. I asked for the name of his manager and he told me he was the manager. I asked for his business card and he told me he did not have a business card and refused to give me his phone number. I then asked for his name and he initially refused and then told me his name is Dave. He was very rude and I am planning to change my service from Verizon to another carrier. read more
