In just two months, I have already been charged over $1,000 for service for two phones and a smartwatch. I was also told the phones we received would be free as part of a promotion for new customers since we traded in our paid-off devices. That turned out to be misleading. On top of that, I later discovered additional services, including an early upgrade option, were added to my account without my consent or any discussion. I have returned to the store four separate times to try to resolve these issues, but Crystal has been dismissive and unwilling to help each time. Dishonest and very commission driven. After learning of my veteran status the associate told me I qualified for free AirPod pros. Two months later after reviewing my bill I noticed some charges. What the associate had did was give me a veteran discount on my account that was almost the same as the monthly payments on the AirPods. I should have been offered the discount based on my service, not in exchange for buying accessories. These retail stores are commission driven, and should not be trusted. The staff here is not looking out for your best interest. You're much better off going to a corporate store like San Dimas. read more

This place tries to lure you in with really good promotions. Once you sign up for them, just make sure you double/ triple check your AT&T bill as the associates will tell you that they "waived "all of the unnecessary fees. They will also try to upsell you and when you say no, they will sometimes still add it to your bill. For example, I opted out of the unlimited data plan and only wanted to go up one tier, The associate kept trying to convince me to go to unlimited, and I firmly said no. Come to find out on the next billing cycle that she signed me up for unlimited anyway. I have had to call AT&T a number of time to get my bill straightened out. Also, most of the associates there seem apathetic/bored most of the time. They seem very unwilling to get out of their chairs to actually help you with any tech related issues. I felt badly because there was an older gentleman trying to get his phone data transferred over from his old phone, he kept asking the associate questions, the associate kept sitting down at his chair and checking his own phone and giving very vague instructions to the poor man. It's sad to say, but if you decide to go, make sure you document everything that's a promise you and get it down in writing. I felt like I was coerced into buying what the salesperson thought I needed. Whenever I asked for something, she would say "Why? You don't need that" and refused to sell it to me. For instance, I wanted more memory and she said I didn't need it. She also went through my phone and deleted things she didn't think I used. She told us we had to use the new chargers and we had to purchase them, later I found out that we didn't need to. Scam operation and avoid going here for service. I went to the store today to find out why 2 additional phone lines were added to my senior citizen parents phone account. The manager, not sure of her name, but previous reviewers back up my story of fraud on my parents' account. We upgraded in early October 24 and all seemed fine until the bill was $400. 1 printed the bill out and there were 2 extra phone lines with my dad's name not spelled correctly and the highest level of insurance and 4+ phone plan for my 2 elderly parents. I called Global Fraud for AT&T and waited the 30 days and nothing happened. Now, my parents have to pay a fraud ransom to AT&T because if they don't pay the ransom amount they will not be able to keep their phone numbers. I asked the manager if there was a district manager above her that I could appeal to and all she said was he never comes in here, what? Don't go to this location because you will walk out happy until you get a surprise bill and can do nothing about it. Go to an Apple Store if you want to upgrade. read more

All I can say is that if you going to get any kind of new wireless, satellite or internet service. Make sure you get everything in writing and ask as many questions. This people get commission for any new services, warranties, etc and they k own once you leave the store you may not come back or maybe too late to change anything you signed. I was getting a new phone for all 3 lines and was going to pay less. I asked her to please disclose any extra charges I'll have to pay and told her to please be honest about it as I had a bad experience at that location already with my Direct tv service. She told me all I had to pay was taxes for the phones. I paid for that and when almost done signing paper work she also old me about activation fees... I didn't like the fact she didn't say anything about it when I ask but I understood these are normal fees when getting new service. Anyways. I was paying 150$ per month and I suposed to pay 120+ tax with the new package. 3 weeks after I get my first bill and surprised! 370$. I called 611 to have a rundown of the bill and charges and they told me I was charge 3 activations fees 30 each. Insurance for all the devices even the ones I didn't get with at&t lol, 10 each, 5$ each for some kind of program to upgrade faster when need it. And 5$ each for upgrading!!! When I call the store and asked for the store manager, all she w Had to say was "I just took over the store" sorry. So please! Keep in mind these people lies. They assume you are just not going to care once you get the first bill. I purchased a phone, iPad n watch a few months ago and found several charges on my next bill I was unaware of . I called AT & T and they reversed two of the charges. I came back this week to purchase the same three items for my daughter asking for a full disclosure of charges this time. During our time there she was vague and confused at times. My daughter chose the color of I pad which had to be ordered and when she received it found it was not the color she requested. I called the 800 number they said to return it within two weeks to the store they would exchange it. When I took it back they gave me an 800 number to call I went outside n called they said they were online purchase returns not store purchased returns. I went back into the store n while they were on the phone repeated their statement. The salesperson said she had no way of returning it I had to drive to Cucamonga. The operator asked to speak to her. She was told to return the item. She refused and said I needed to take it to s corporate store. They disagreed. She handed the phone back to me and said to take it to Cucamonga. I asked her if the San Dimas was a corporate store. She said they were closed had been for days n people were coming to LaVerne. I told the supervisor I would call back, I left I called San Dimas they said they were open had been. Interesting. I went there they told me they needed a bar code n the exchange could have been done at the point of purchase. I told them they refuse. They called over n said the exchange could be done in LaVerne. They hung up on them. She then had her supervisor call back to contact the manager in LaVerne who said they would do the exchange. I went back to LaVerne. When I got back to the LaVerne store I was told her manager was on a call n said she would not return the item n would leave after her call. After two days, three supervisors another store they refuse to exchange it. I called the 800 number while I was there and asked what to do. They spoke to her and asked what the issue was? They said to exchange it for the preferred color. She refuse. He said that normal protocol was to waive a return fee and exchange the product. She refuse. He was apologetic but said she should have taken care of the exchange initially and had no idea what was going on. So here's my suggestion, do business with corporate stores only. LaVerne is only a store front. A mistake made by the employee was not dealt with in a professional way n my time and efforts and business meant nothing them. To add insult to injury I just found out she enrolled me in a protection plan at $25 a month without my knowledge. Tomorrow day three. I was the only one in the store at the time besides a young male employee. Sadly he was more interested in texting someone back and forth on his phone than helping me. It was like I was a distraction to his personal business! Nothing more irritating than someone constantly face down on their phone. Dumb young people today. A generation of idiots obsessed with their phone. I feel sorry for them. And to top it off, a few minutes later another young male employee comes in carrying a Taco Bell bag. Do not come to this store it is the worst!! I went in only wanting a SIM card but since they ask for your account info. They said I was paying way too much for my bill its ridiculously high. He said we can lower it right now I said I would come back another day I was in a hurry. But the representative and I'm pretty sure it was the manager as well were really insistent. They said it takes no time so I gave in turns out they added another line to my account I was being charged 45.00. Be careful because they didn't say they are adding a line just that I'll get a text and to provide the PIN number to them so they can make the change to lower the bill. It didn't lower my bill in actuality it went up much higher. I went in on the first bill they said the new line was a credit to lower my bill. That was a lie I had to call customer service to remove the line. Double check your bill they are not truthful. Just a horrible experience I had to go in multiple times and my bill is not any lower now I pay more. I had a grandfathered plan which I can't get anymore because of the change they made. I had to file a complaint against them with customer service to get refunded back everything I was overpaying for. Also seems to be something customer service is aware of stating the store does this and adds lines without telling ppl. My bill went from $270 to $377 . An absolutely awful experience. Called on the phone ahead of time and was told to come in specifically at 4:30 to pick up an Apple Watch. After waiting for 30 min and receiving no help, I was told by the only employee in the store (the other associate left after telling me I'd be helped in just a minute) that he had no idea where the watch was and I just needed to wait. After seeing my frustration after 45 minutes of waiting and being blatantly misled, I was told "you're gonna get it today though..." Thanks. After 50 minutes, I left with nothing but wasted time. First of all this is not a corporate Att store but there is no signage warning you of this. It is a convenient location and the store has been fine in the past. Jason, supposedly a manager, is extremely rude and arrogant. He is also a liar. He not only refused to tell me who sold me the phone (I wasn't sure but I think it was him). Then he rudely asked why I was there. When I explained I was not told of charges to my account when getting a new phone he at one point said "you're done". He then lied and said i was not on a 95 dollar plan. I left and within less than 10 minutes I came back to show him my bill. He hid in the back as I was told he wasn't there and to come back. Also when he was hiding in the back, the other employee, a youngish girl said to me "don't take that tone with me" when I was trying to tell her it was a couple of minutes ago as I believed he was there. On my 5 minute drive home I called to see if she would answer with her name. A few hours later I got 2 missed calls from that number. Coincidence? Kinda costly to do as it adds another device to your plan, but it was useful. For the past month I had been unsuccessful in pairing my newly purchased AT&T Galaxy S9 phone to the bluetooth in my car. Today @ 10:40am: I called the advance AT&T TA (Technical Assistance) team on the phone for assistance. I explained the problem in that my car recognized the phone but the phone would not recognize the car, thus preventing me from pairing the two. The TA Rep only suggestion was for me to take my car to the car dealer. This had me ready to cancel the service all together and return back to Verizon! Even though I was told he was in training, he was very knowledgeable (with the help of Melissa too of course). Melissa was also a rock star. She was helping another couple and was jumping back and forth between us whenever her help was needed...GO GIRL! They both helped me get the phone I needed for my husband with my kinda complicated request (phone was a surprise). I have been an AT&T customer since 2008. A decade. If it was not for Aaron and his staff at this location I would have canceled and saved money by bundling with Spectrum. Due to the inexperience and outright stupidity of the telephone support or online contact, I would much rather walk into this store and deal directly with knowledgeable, quick and respectful staff. Aaron has reduced my stress level by 95%. No matter how often I come in the store bothering him because of some screw up the company or an in house rep does, he always listens patiently and goes beyond the call of duty to rectify the issues. This Location is amazing I went In for some trouble with my phone when it unexpectedly went out a young lady was helping out multiple customers it seemed she was working all by herself how quick and efficient she helped each customer with out looking like she got overwhelmed was astonishing to me. She managed to help everyone and manage to have a smile and make each customer laugh. She was able to help me switch over from Verizon and after having a bad experience at another location she was able to answer and ease all my concerns. I was Very hesitant about getting a new phone because I didn't want to lose my information she told me that she will handle everything and make sure everything was done and I would Not have to worry. Due to me not knowing my information it made the process a little difficult for her. She told me she would spend all day with me to help me figure it out. It was a very long process and she managed to make the process fun enjoyable and a less stressful process. She was then able to to give me her information so I can Call her if I had Any issues. She made my AT&T experience enjoyable and fun. This store is very lucky to have her be so knowledgeable and patient and so supportive.
