Took in my Pixel 7 Pro for a charging port issue. It wouldn't hold a charge cable, so I figured it was dirty, but couldn't get it clean at home despite using some pretty small tools. Kat at the Montclair location was able to clean the port out in 2 minutes, and all it came down to was just built up lint. I was charged NOTHING for the repair, which Kat said was fortunate, because replacing the USB-C port is supposedly only done on these devices by replacing the whole circuit board, which would have been very expensive (Yikes, thanks Google...). Do not let them scam you into giving them any money the first time because your PlayStation won't be fixed they will make you come in again then they will tell you there is nothing they can do, but they'll take your money the first time with no communication whatsoever until you come back they will direct you to another repair place. now I gotta waste more money to pay another repair place. I have been to this location twice. Once in April and again in June. The first time everything went smoothly besides the fact that they didn't call when the service was done like they said they would. The second time I went in the guy at the counter started to ask for my information and I told him it. Then this lady from the back loudly proclaims that she didn't want to run a test on my phone to make sure it's in good condition to be fixed. A quality test or something of the matter. She then steps out and tells me she will change my screen no problem without the test. I knew my know was in good condition regardless but I was happy to not have to wait the hour for the test. The phone gets fixed and handed to me in a matter of minutes. I was happy and excited as I left. Then about 3-5 minutes after I leave I notice the frame of my phone is lifting. I don't know much about phones I work in customer service but I work in the beauty side of things so that's not my forte. I assumed it'll go back eventually. I can't drive so I didn't want to pay the 25 dollars to lyft back there. It's July and I have a bubble again. So I decide why not kill two birds with one stone and get both issues sorted. I call samsung like I always do. They tell me everything is covered under warranty and that UbreakiFix will cover it since it's been within 3 months. "AWESOME!" THATS WHAT I LIKE TO HEAR! I call them. I explain the situation and instead of being understanding the accusations start to happen. "ARE YOU SAYING OUR TECH BROKE THE FRAM?" No I never said that. "Sounds like it was the screen so the frame can't be broken that doesn't make sense." It's the black barrier thing around my phone not the screen. And then my favorite part. "YOU'LL HAVE TO PAY OUT OF POCKET." I'm trying to understand this completely. I come to you. With a phone in PERFECT condition just needs the screen fixed. I leave and the frame is damaged. And instead of being professional and doing the right thing. You want me to pay for something I didn't do. You want me to give you money to fix something you guys did? I'm explaining as nicely as I can that they should fix it and instead he is telling me no. I got upset and yeah I yelled a little but it doesn't make sense why I should pay out of pocket for damage you guys caused. The whole situation was done incorrectly. EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!!! I went to the uBreakiFix store in Montclair, CA. It was recommended to me by a service rep from Best Buy, since they weren't able to help me with my repair. This is the first time I had ever heard of uBreakiFix. My problem: The back cover of my cell phone kept falling off, and the little black part that fits in the rectangular hole in the back of the phone had been lost. After telling me where I normally could get such parts, my customer service person took my phone to the back, where he checked to see what parts he had available. After a very short period of time, he came back with my phone "all better"!!! He was able to find and install the rectangular black part that fits in the back of my phone, and the back cover of my phone is no longer falling off! I was having a problem with the battery charging connection on my iPhone, so I contacted Verizon. It appeared to me that the inside of the iPhone battery connection might have been damaged because this problem was common in the past. Verizon referred me to uBreakiFix in Montclair to see if the issue could be repaired. If not, I was in for a bigger hassle. Upon arrival at the location, I was greeted by a friendly technician. Poor customer service. Samsung scheduled an appt here to get my phone fixed, after calling the day before and confirming that they had the part to fix it. When I arrive, the guy who works there, is sick to the bone and shouldn't be there. Cotton in his ear, masked up, coughing and out of it. To the point I asked him if he was ok, and he said, "not really. I probably shouldn't be here". He tells me they don't have the part. Insert eye roll. So i asked to speak to the manager. I hear them talking in the background explaining the situation. Katherine the manager comes up, saying "how can I help you?". I say, he just explained everything to you, "how CAN YOU help me?" She just parrots what he said, and says that they can't even order the part. Bottom line, whoever they spoke to at the store yesterday, had misinformation and had me drive 35 minutes out, and another 35 to get back home without any resolution. A waste of time energy and gas. Also the place has changed its name to Asurion. Poor customer service and on top of that, forcing one of their employees to work in that unwell condition and potentially exposing others is reckless and irresponsible. I have an Iphone 8 and for unknown reasons one day, my phone decided to freeze on me. There is never a 'good time' for anyone's phone to malfunction, but the timing was especially stressful for me due to upcoming plan and obligations -- all relevant data was on my phone. My initial attempt was to go to the nearest T-Mobile store which was in West Covina. It was a terrible use of time. I decided to take my phone to a repair shop instead! I am not happy with my experience here. I purchased a screen and noticed that it was very inconsistent with registering my touch which was very different from my experience before replacing the screen. I took it back, they replaced the screen no problem. The man who worked there mentioned that I might need to replace my battery but he would change the screen anyways. (I want to make it clear, I never experienced these issues until the screen was replaced. Even if my battery was bad wouldn't I have experienced these issues with my old screen?! This all happened within a matter of about 1-2 months). I took my phone back a second time, and I was told to return in a week when the manager was there. A week later, I returned for my third visit. I explained that the screen was even worse. I wouldn't even be touching my screen and random things would be pushed constantly. I was asked to leave my phone there to diagnose the problem. When I returned, the man who worked there returned my phone with a significant scratch on it. The man was apologetic and acknowledged that it wasn't there before. He proceeded to tell me that, my battery was probably the problem so I finally agreed to change that too. Then , they didn't have anymore batteries because the technician suddenly left. He "resolved" the issue by giving me refund and said " it's like we never did work for you". I understood that they were not going to address anymore screen issues.I replaced my battery somewhere else and I'm still experiencing problems with my screen. Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Had a small accident & only cracked the screen. Took it to UBREAKIFIX for repairs. Paid & picked it up & went home to activate it. I noticed the SPen notification saying it wasn't connected. So I pulled it out & noticed it was cracked/bent. It wouldn't even register. I then called UBREAKIFIX immediately & said they can't do anything about it but to come in to see if the manager or owner can help. I came in the very next day & was told the owner & manager said tough luck. Can't do anything about it. So I'm "SOL." The tech guy said he did all the tests with the pen & pulled it out so he agreed that I had a fully functional unbroken SPen when I brought it in & when he tested it. Somewhere in between from him testing it & it being brought to me someone broke it or swapped it out for their own after it was signed off. I'm not even sure that this is even for the Note 20 Ultra. Whoever works there got a new SPen & I was left with trash. If you go there, check everything out completely & have them show you everything is there, accounted for, fully functional & unbroken. read more

He then asked if he could take my iPhone in the back before we start worrying about replacing the charging port. He comes back almost immediately saying that there is nothing wrong with the port other than it was really dirty (it has been shy of 3 years).
