Updated review is in order. The past 3 times visits were very positive. Service is king and it was excellent on all 3 visits. Value is reasonable / competitive, especially when AT&T coverage is the best IMHO. While they didn't have a phone case I wanted, that's okay; they had a pretty good overall selection that I imagine caters to the majority of folks. Avoid this location at all cost. Extremely terrible customer service. Also, will take iPhone trade ins and not pay you month later even with receipt proof. I've made multiple attempts to get my reimbursement for past month including escalating to store manager. Had to drive up to location twice because they wouldn't call back. Beware of this store and check your bill and enrolled services immediately after you leave!! I was forced to come into a retail store to "verify my identity" since my account was less than 60 days old. All I wanted to do was add a family member to my account. They have their own phone and everything. First they set me up with a physical SIM card when I requested an eSIM. Then they added several device insurance add ons that I didn't approve of. They didn't even ask. After I realized what they had done, I immediately removed the services from my account but the customer service rep said I owe the prorated amounts since the "the services were provided"... fraudulent business practices with dishonest employees who are trying to make a few dollars. I wish I remembered their names but the guys that helped us on the night of 7/7/25 were amazing!! They could not have been more calm and patient with my Mom.. and myself trying to deal with her too. She has dementia and hates technology so everything in 2025 frustrates her. One gentleman helped me combine our accounts (she was irate cause she just doesn't understand) while the other caught on and kindly distracted her. We came in willing to possibly buy 3 new iPhones. We saw 4 employees, 2 with customers, the other 2 just messing with the chairs. We were never once greeted or asked "how can we help you" or "we will be right with you." But one of the employees had no problem walking up to the door and greeting 2 people walking in behind us. I went to the store to add a line and all four representatives were in such a bad mood that even argued about who was going to help me. one said quickly " I can't help you I'm at lunch and the other one said " I guess I can help you" they seemed so bothered that I came in that I just told them I'll go somewhere else's. a customer already in store asked " are all of you in a bad mood?" guess the customer service was bad for him too. Would give this place negative stars if possible. This was the second and last bad experience at this store. The following is an exert from a letter I tried to share with a district/area manager after not being able to talk to a store manager. No one returned my calls, emails, letter so I started canceling my AT&T service and will continue to do so until I've gone completely away from the company. Email exert: ***I don't feel comfortable allowing people like Aaron to have access to my account and private information. I feel confident saying this was the worst customer service interaction I've ever experienced and that's saying a lot in a time where you can barely expect a "hello" or "thank you" anymore. I'd have to be completely dense to not realize he was being a condescending jerk right to my face. Even as I was explaining the situation to the manager on duty, Kari, he tried to stare me down as if to intimidate me. I seriously question whether or not he has a personality/behavioral issue. I needed a simple SIM card replacement. I told him I was already working with tech support over the phone. His response, "they'll just tell you to come to the store." The rep I spoke to actually advised me against going in to the store, his recommendation was to first replace the SIM card then have Apple look at the hardware. Meanwhile Aaron's attempting to sell me on additional services and Direct TV after I've already made it clear I'm not interested in expanding my services with AT&T. He then states, "We have 'XYZ number' of customers, do you really expect them to call one person back," after I stated I was waiting on a return call from tech support. Well I suppose if I don't get a call back from tech support that would just reinforce Aaron's claim that AT&T doesn't care about me as a customer. This attitude is exactly why I'm making arrangements to leave AT&T after years of being a customer. I refuse to be treated with such a harsh level of disrespect. To make matters worse, after asking me if I had upgraded my software to which I responded I hadn't and that I didn't want to at this time, Aaron proceeded to upgrade it anyway without telling me. I made it clear multiple times that all I wanted to do was change out the SIM card, nothing more. When I finally had enough and involved Kari, she asked what he was doing and he said upgrading the phone. When I asked if that was a necessary step to a SIM card replacement, Kari said it was not. So am I to assume Aaron did this out of spite to prolong this exchange as if he enjoyed trying to ruin my day? Had I been a manager and witnessed this type of behavior from an employee they would have been immediately removed from the situation and at the very least, formally written up. As the customer, I didn't walk in screaming and cussing. I had an appointment and one simple request. Your employee's inability to relate escalated this into an uncomfortable and negative interaction.*** I went on to stress again, I AM NOT comfortable allowing someone like Aaron having access to my personal information. read more

Stay AWAY from this store if you are looking for quality and honesty. The untrained employees sold me an "international" phone and plan that left me without communication in a third world country??? Upon my return to Dallas I learned from another AT&T location that the unused "international phone" only functioned in the US.... My next immediate transaction with this store, was when I purchased a new phone for my son. We were promised ease and assistance if by chance my family chose to exchange the new device. It was explained to me I would be responsible for a small restocking fee and it had to be completed within a certain timeframe, etc.... sounds good?? RIGHT??? LIE #2... When we attempted to exchange the device WITHIN THE ALLOTED TIMEFRAME, the Store Manager refused to honor what was promised and was EXTREMELY rude and verbally disrespectful to me and my kids. I called customer service and was told that the Store Manager of this store noted to my AT&T file NOT TO HELP ME if and when I attempted to call them as an escalation point. Unbelievable! I wouldn't expect anything less from the immature, untrained "Store Manager" of this location. 3 rd most memorable moment / experience at this location was when the alarms were set off on devices from a customer accidently setting them off. Normal procedure is for the "manager/key holder" to turn the ear piercing alarm off with her keys, but she was no where to be found... aka GONE FOR THE NIGHT??? WHAT?!?!?! Those of us in the store had to listen to the ear piercing alarm because the "Store Manager" was more concerned with going home early then closing the store and verifying all the customers transactions were complete. My family will not be using this store for our future AT&T needs... Word to the wise, STAY AWAY from this location. read more

Came here because I ordered two new lines online, and the order still had not processed yet and it had been 3 days. Had to wait over an hour to speak with someone, which was fine because it was really busy in there, and we were helped even after closing and we hadn't been called yet. The lady that helped us was super friendly, however was not able to help at all with my problem. She had called the support line and they were also unable to help. While service was slow, it was friendly. However, lost stars because employees seemed ill informed in helping resolve issues, only sales. read more

We went in to change my daughter's number, the shady store manager weasels his way over to us to talk about TV services. I told him we aren't home enough for cable services. He asks more questions and basically tells me I can get AT&T cable for only $50 per month. I went over with him multiple times, going back and forth. Finally I thought ok, this isn't a bad deal. When the AT&T installation guy came to install - we start talking and he tells me it's going to be much more monthly than I was led to believe. Clearly this location is not staffed correctly. 60-120mins. To pick up an iPhone ordered online, even after I received an email stating the product was ready for pick up. I only counted 2 CSR's with one individual waiting by the door to greet people. Just terrible use of employees time, and resources. THE REASON I WILL NEVER RETURN TO ATT: I had the worst customer service experience at one of your stores in The Colony, TX. I recently visited the store to get a new SIM card for my phone. The first representative was genuinely trying to help me with my purchase, but he did not know how to complete the forms. The other people working there, were just was standing around behind the counter, watching the Cowboys game, while I stood and waited for 30 minutes...with no one else in store or at the counter. The rep. told me that I should be happy to wait only 30 minutes, because normally everyone waits 2 to 3 hours. After the rep. could not assist me with my purchase, and after not trying to get a manager or a more experience person to assist me, I asked if they could make a phone call to fix the issue. The rep. refused to make a call or get a manager until I got upset about the length of time this visit was taking. Finally, the manager, came out, and did not attempt to remedy the situation. He started to confront me about getting upset with his employees, in a threatening stance. He assured me that his people are working on it, without even verifying what was causing the delay. He also stated that most people do wait up to 3 hours. (Implying that I should be grateful to only wait 30 minutes, even though no one was at the counter. ) After another rep. comes over to assist and fix the computer. As I began to see that another person is working on it, so I leave this horrible experience. The manager, Ryan shields, still in a threatening stance, says, "Are you going to stop harassing and hollering my employees now?". Which caused me to get upset again and took as a threat, because the manager of your store was so rude! I asked for his card, and his reply, was sure, I will give you my card, i will give you 5 cards. I finished my purchase and left. I WILL NEVER RETURN AGAIN. read more

To start off my visit, the service was quite slow and there were quite a few groups of people waiting for service when I entered. I decided to stick around, but I wish I had just left; the sales representative that was eventually assigned to me was very pushy about making a sale. I eventually opted to tell him outright that I didn't appreciate being pressured to make a purchase and left. I only wish I had done so sooner. Hi there, just wanted to share my experience with one of the staff members by the name of Taylor when I was in this weekend. I had an eligible upgrade and wanted the iPhone X. I'm on a family plan to start and had all the passwords and security as well as the main account holder availbe to talk on the phone like I've done every time I've upgrade. The employee (Taylor) told me that I could not do anything unless the main person on the account either called at&t, went to the website or came in person. I asked Taylor how I would go about doing it online so I could explain to my father (the main account holder) over the phone and he said " I can't tell you how to do that". I asked why and he said " I just can't". So, After calling my dad to come up to the location to get the ball rolling on upgrading my phone we began to update the new phone to the most current update. This took some time. I asked if I could use the restroom while waiting which over overall took about 2 hours. Taylor told me "I can't let you use our restroom, you can go to smoothie king a couple stores down but you have to purchase something to use their restroom. Take in mind I'm upgrading to a $1400 phone and coming out of pocket $100 or so for tax, but yet... I can't use AT&T's restroom. Last but not least, after transferring the data from my old phone to my new, he sticks my old phone in his pocket without setting it to factory mode. I asked him If I could have it back to verify he put it in factory mode and he said "that's understandable". He takes my phone out of his pocket which cleary WAS NOT set to factory mode and fiddles with it not showing me the phone for about 3 minutes. I figured he was freaking out in the moment of me asking to show me my old phone and he suddenly tried to put it back in factory mode before showing me. Now, how is it right for an AT&T employee to take someone's old phone that is unlocked, put it in their pocket and tell the customer is was set to factory mode which it clearly was not???? How do I know he wasn't going to go through my photos, emails and personal information before setting my phone to factory Mode? This is an illegal action should be investigated if this is the way this store operates! read more

I'm a fan of ATT but not a fan of this location and the individuals who run it. My phone wasn't able to charge and I asked for help. I told Charlotte, the manager, that I didn't want to go a day without my phone due to the fact that I was currently in the process of buying a new home. It was very important for me to have access to my phone. She told me that if I didn't buy a phone that I would have to wait five to ten days to get a new one. I told her that I didn't want either of those options and that I needed help getting my phone fixed. She then tells me, "If you're not going to buy a new phone then you're not helping yourself" and gives me a smirk. I thought to myself, I DON'T WANT TO SPEND ANOTHER 500 ON A PHONE. So I ask for her name and then I also look over to the gentleman who helped me previously (Tim) and all I get is a smile from both of them after telling me that I'm not helping myself. What kind of customer service is this? They are supposed to help me fix my phone! Not once did they even look at the phone to troubleshoot it. As a manager and as experienced individuals they should have tried multiple troubleshooting methods before advising me to buy a new phone. The funny thing is that I went to the ATT store at Stonebriar Mall and they literally grabbed my phone, changed a few settings, rebooted it, and then it worked again. So not only does Charlotte have no idea what she is doing but she also has awful customer service to point at the customer and tell them that its their fault that the issue isn't resolved.
