I was a bit intimidated by the whole process since I realized this was the first time in my life I had to handle switching my phones. Most of my career, when cell phones became the norm, one was provided so I never had to worry about it. Going in person was my best option rather than over the phone with Verizon. Luckily I met the store manager Josue. He was great and obviously knowledgeable and he was training Amy. Amy was extremely pleasant and patient both with my lack of understanding and then issues getting the information we needed to change my spouses phone. We had an AMAZING experience at the 5020 Colony location! It was time for upgrades on our iPhones and iPad, and we even added a new line. Upon arrival for our scheduled appointment, Shannon promptly greeted us and welcomed us in. She was so friendly and helpful, and honestly gave us a memorable and positive experience throughout the process. Shannon is so thoughtful and caring, but also especially good at what she does. I was in to upgrade my phone. The men that were in there were all helping me. I mentioned to the store associate several times that I needed the iPhone shipped here in Dallas. He did not show me any confirmation of the order before signing it. He did not ask me where I would like it shipped. He placed the order and it got shipped to Nevada. He couldn't fix his mistake. I now have to wait 24/48hr for it to process to be able to cancel the order he mistakenly made. Then I have to back to the store (I will not be coming back to this store) and do the process all over again. If he would've slowed down when trying to help me he wouldn't have made this mistake. Then he continued to blame me for ha the mistake when I purposely told him when I came in that I needed shipped here. A complete waste of my time!!! read more

My last time coming into this store I had to wait an hour + to buy a car charger. Management needs a revamp here and so do their attitudes. I purchased a new iphone and paid for it in full. I went into the store today to find out why I could not unlock my phone and had the worst customer service experience. The support specialists that initially helped me talked over me and yelled. He tried to berate me several times and at other times just ignored my questions and didn't even respond. I asked if he has a pin to take my sim card out. Finally, I asked for a managed (I think his name was AJ) and he was extremely apathetic. He didn't really seem to care and had a "stop wasting my time attitude". He didn't do anything at all to help me. His only suggestion was that I should sell my (3 week old) iphone on Ebay and take the loss on it and buy another for the carrier I wanted. He didn't even seem to know Verizon's policies when I asked him some questions. My Recommendation: Do NOT go to this store. Drive a couple of extra miles further north to the Frisco store. The GM there (Naresh) has superb customer service skills and goes the extra mile to help you. He is very knowledgeable on verizon policies and procedures. I spoke to a couple of there specialists at the Frisco store and they are all hands down better than the employees at the Castle Hills Store. read more

I would love to give more than 5 stars! I went in to this store to inquire about upgrading 2 phones. I received amazing customer service from Lindsey. She was patient with me while I changed my mind on the phone and on various accessories. She provided me with good reccomendations for accessories. I went back to turn in one of the phones for the credit and interacted with Ryan, who also provided me with quick and great customer service. I have been a Verizon customer since the 90's and this is the first store that I received such amazing customer service at. I will definetly be back for any Verizon needs when I'm in the area! Scheduled an appointment online to avoid having to wait this evening. Wasn't really necessary as there were no other customers in the store. When I entered, each of the three employees looked at me but no one greeted me. I proceeded to walk towards them since no one said anything or showed much interest in wanting to help me. finally one of the guys said hello and asked what I needed. I needed a new iPhone so he directed me towards the newer models. He wasn't pushy but he all of a sudden had more interest when trying to sell me on accessories I didn't need which was a new experience for me at Verizon. I had a coupon code text to me from Verizon that I was unable to use in store or at least that's what the sales rep said. Either way... I hope I don't need to go back any time soon. While visiting Dallas from another city I stopped in a Verizon store to purchase new equipment. The sales associate Nic approached me upon entering and he listened to my needs without interruption. He accessed my account and reviewed what should or needed to be updated with my plan. After that he explained what would be a good plan for me and which phone I would like. I forgot my phone at my visiting residence but it didn't appear to be a problem for Nic he accessed my account information making all the changes and checking the phone to make sure everything was working properly. I have been a customer with Verizon with each name change for thirty years and in all that time I have never met any sales associate that has been so cordial. Both Verizon shops in Rockford, IL have given me more than enough reason to want to change cellular dealers. But all is not lost because Lewisville, TX has restored my faith. FOR THEM NOT ROCKFORD. My phone was broken so I bought a new one but the Service Specialist Tim told me he could not get my current phone directory out since I had input them incorrectly. He managed to get my entire email directory which I don't need so I returned the phone the next day. Restock fee ($50) for a phone I had less then 12 hours and couldn't use. So still no phone and no phone directory. Typical poor service and lack of knowledge for the "specialist". Service was just as bad when they were GTE back in the day. I will try a different location and see if any other "Specialists" are better trained. My error was not asking for a supervisor the 2nd time I came back 12 hours after my first visit, so shame on me. Total waste of my time and money going to this location. read more

Beware that these store guys do not provide the correct information. For me they said the activation fee wouldn't be charged until 14 days after the new account activation. I had to cancel the account in 5 days as the service is very bad at my location. After cancellation of the account, I have been charged for $51. for the 5 days of service, which apparently includes activation fee ($30). When I call the customer care, they mentioned that you have already signed for it and we can't do anything as this is a policy to charge customer care after 3 days period. Worst store I would say who misguides the customers. Store guys don't think they know their process and misguide the customer. In future, better to call customer care before reaching out to store guys. read more
