However, this place is only worth 1 star for the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! My dad came in today to pick up the battery he ordered and to have it installed. Even though he already had an email saying the battery was ready for pickup, the person in the store (Nima) didn't even have it ready. Nima had to go in the back and look for the battery...what was the point of sending an email saying it was ready then?! My dad then brought up that he scheduled an installation as well. Unfortunately the weather was cold and slightly rainy, but you could still get work done if you had the proper jacket. My dad offered to help Nima install, but Nima vehemently DECLINED saying he couldn't do it because of the weather. My dad really needed to get it done today, so he just started working on it himself. Talk about terrible service!! My dad had to ask for tools and such while he just sat there. It wasn't until later that Nima went out and finally did a little bit in the installation. Even then, it looked like he didn't want to get his hands dirty!! Our family will never come back to this establishment. We gave it a chance since it was near and had the exact battery we needed, but the customer service is AWFUL!! I do not recommend! I've attached our receipts below for this visit for proof.

Instead of a professional discussion, I was met with shocking hostility from one of your managers (a tall gentleman of Middle Eastern descent). He directly attacked my integrity, stating, "I've seen this trick many times; people bring fake quotes from Richardson or Prosper to deceive us." He further alleged, without any evidence, that the other dealer would add a markup of over $6,000. While I respect a dealership's right to decline a price match, I find it unacceptable to be accused of dishonesty. This lack of professional ethics is not only a personal insult but a significant blow to the Toyota brand image. As a direct result of this experience, I returned to Longo Toyota of Prosper the following day and purchased the vehicle there. The contrast in service was stark; they treated me with respect, and my wife is thrilled with our new car. I will be sharing this experience with my community to ensure other buyers know to take their business to dealerships that actually value their customers.

If you are unfortunate enough to own this car and experience this issue you know that there is no easy fix. When I arrived I pulled up, handed the tech the keys, and walked inside to check in. Lawrence was so nice and helpful, let me know a time frame, and explained where the restrooms and snacks were located. He also let me know there was a recall that they would also take care of while they had my car back there. After about 3 hours Lawrence called me up and informed me that they were not able to get the sunroof closed and the cost of getting it fixed is almost $11,000. Having just moved 1000 miles from home, looking for a job, and have now loss my reliable transportation I broke down right at his desk. Lawrence proceeded to go talk to other managers to see how he could help me. He mentioned that they could take the headliner down and MAYBE be able to get it closed that way. I had to take the risk. About 4 hours later he comes out to the lobby with a technician named Tristan. Poor Tristan had been fighting with my sunroof all day, but was determined to help me and continued to try everything he could possibly think of. Eventually all his hard work payed off and he was able to get closed and even washed my car for me. These two men may have just been doing their job to other people, but they really did change my life. They offered support, determination, and the willingness to go above and beyond for a customer. Having just moved to Texas this was my first experience with this location and I now will continue to have my car serviced here. P.S. Let this be a reminder to NOT get a Toyota Camry with a panoramic moonroof!!

Then year two with them was not as great. I felt more like a number and honestly the service reps felt a little slimy as a female bringing my car in. However I am happy to report this past year I saw it getting better again, on several times of bringing my car in I was met by Christian who was well mannered and kind, always had a smile on his face. I should mention I could drive one mile to the Dallas Audi dealership however I choose to drive 40 miles north to McKinney. I recently brought my q5 in for an engine light on and i got a loaner car without issue. I picked it up a few days later and on my way home my engine light came back on. The next day the head of service reached out and asked how my service went. I forgot her name but I let her know the engine light came back on, on my way home. She was so empathetic and let me know she would send someone to me in Dallas with a loaner car and pick up my car. It was amazing that I didn't have to take time off work to bring my suv back. She also apologized and when the service manager for my car, Michael (literally the best service manager to work with!) called me he said they would test drive my car many times so that it will have the computer reset many times to make sure the engine light would not turn back on. Which they did and they fixed everything and when my car was ready they delivered it to where I was and picked up the loaner. Another crisis avoided and taken care of by this dealership, not me. Now, I have run multiple businesses and I hated it when customers would leave a review without allowing me to at least be giving the chance to fix it. We are humans and mistakes happen and companies should be judged on how they react to a problem when given the information. I also recently got a large toll bill and when I called Sewell Josh from service took care of it. Simple and easy. Every person I interacted with even when the tech looked over my car again and sent the video, apologized and made it right. I honestly don't know how they could have done anything better!? At the end of the day cars and people are both unpredictable and somehow Sewell McKinney took care of both for me, without issue. I will never go to any other dealership nor should you!!

No one came out to greet me or provide any information. I eventually went into the bay and asked if they were conducting inspections that day. The gentleman was very friendly and assured me he would be with me shortly. Once I was brought in, the inspection was completed in under 15 minutes. He was friendly throughout the entire process and completed the job exactly as I would have expected. Overall, I had no concerns with the inspection itself. My only issues were the disconnected phone number and the lack of acknowledgment when I first arrived.
