I'm a long time Verizon customer. Met a nice young man at my local store he had AT&T uniform on & asked me about my WiFi. Informed him my building & I have AT&T WiFi already. So he hooked me up with a " better deal " with new phone & discounted WiFi . Said bundle. So my Senior self felt all proud I received phone fedex & downloaded all #s & pictures all by myself early the next AM. So not wanting to bug him again on the phone. I went very early to local AT&T corporate store in Mount Pleasant. I was there @945am waiting in lot in front of store, thinking this should be quick in & out maybe 10-29 minutes? Man I was way off! So Again I was there even Before the staff. So I met this nice guy inside Ken who said he was assistant Manager. I'm thinking great almost done right? Well he tried for two HOURS. To simply get my service turned on to AT&T for my new $1200. Phone. After two hours he QUIT! And told me I have to go home & wait 24hours & maybe I will have service. I explained again I'm a senior guy who can't NOT have a phone. Thera no pay phones anymore AT&T what do I do? Well he said go home wait 24hours ! I'm thinking this is not happening! It never did with Verizon! So Ken assistant manager just leaves me , and goes to take care of other customers who came in hours after me! I'm thinking this could not be happening! I again asked for help . At this point another young man tells me if I'm not more quiet then he's going to have to make me leave!!! I'm an older guy with a family who has worked in Sales & customer service my entire life. So then I call my first guy I bought the phone from again this is all AT&T employees. He explained to me these guys are all commissioned base & that why they are RUDE too. I'm a Stubborn German Christian Guy. So please anyone at AT&T please help me ! I have a picture I took in the store the one rude man has his back toward me & other 1 you could see his face. He was a little better but still rude. Oh Yes after watching @ around 12 two other sales people come in . Now they have 4 people working not 1 could fix simply help turn my new AT&T phone on . I went into the store for help with my phone. The gentleman that helped me was very nice. He informed me that I could upgrade my phone. He looked at my phone and stated I would get $1000 credit for my phone. I was super happy and continued purchasing a new phone. He attempted to print the paper for me to sign for the phone credit but the paperwork would not print. He had 2 other associates try to print the paperwork without success. I was told I had to come back the next week and turn in the phone for the credit. I went in today to get my phone credit and the man there said I could only get $800 credit. I challenged him and said I was told I could get $1000. He told me no there was something on the screen that degraded that quote. I told him that is the only reason I bought the new phone. He said, "You can return your new phone." I was so mad. I told him I worked in customer service for more years than he was born and didn't like the way he was talking to me. I asked to talk to the manager and he said she wouldn't be in until Thursday because she was pregnant. I turned around and Zee was coming into the building. I went up to her to ask for help and the man that was not nice said, "Don't talk to her she is union and can't be bothered on her lunch!" I sat down and said I would wait to speak with Zee. He ordered me to leave HIS store. I said I was waiting for Zee and he told me he was calling the police and went in the back office. I think it is important to know I have been with AT&T for decades. I have bought ALL of my phones from here. There was absolutely no respect. I have been there 6 times in a week and have been told there is no manager in. I requested one call me but I really don't have any faith that one will. Bought a new iPhone 11 three months ago along with two wireless chargers they sold me saying they were very good products. Within a month the first wireless charger failed and the second one also failed two weeks after the first. so I called the store back and they said they would replace them with an identical product instead of refunding my money I spent for the two pieces of garbage they sold me. Very happy with the iPhone 11 as it is an Apple product but you have to be careful of the offbrands they push with which are cheap Chinese made junk that doesn't last and they say oh you have to call within two weeks to get a refund. Otherwise there's a one year replacement warranty. I will never shop at that store again! AT&T has one of the worst customer satisfaction rates ever. They're just way too big and don't really care about their customers They want to replace it with the same crappy stuff that two have already failed!!!! And they think because it's electronica they don't have to standby a refund for endorsing and selling crappy products, they want to replace it with the same crummy stuff that is so cheap two consecutive faiiled products! And they want to give me more of the crummy stuff that I paid good money for with the understanding I was getting something of quality from them not some cheap knock off the crap that has the AT&T logo imprinted on it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT&T MOBILE TO ANYONE! I would gibe them bo stars of I could! I have had nothing but problems with my phone for 2 yrs now. 5 warranty phones and one new phone in 2 yrs. I was going to leave(lessened learned) but they said wlthey would give me unlimited talk text and data for 50.00 a month as I did not want any contracts or a high bill as I am elderly and on a fixed income so I thought ok I will give it another chance. I should've left when I could as I got the bill and it was over 100.00 and they put me in a contract. I have to have a working phone as I doordash andI have been having problems with dropped calls and the network is not working, Capps won't open or I am in the middle of a delivery and phone stops working. I have lost out on 3 days of work now but they want their money! I went to AT&T store today as phone not working and they finally told me that they are upgrading their services nation wide and they did not know when my phone would work they have been working on things since May!! I go home call to speak to manager and this guy pretty much was like "oh well" he said we don't guarantee your phone will work....wait what!!!
