    It's a Saturday morning. Door hours and online hours indicate a 10 am opening. I waited around 10 minutes and still not open.

    I've had four separate interactions with the staff this week and each was exceptional…read more Called up two days ago to ask how I can go about purchasing a phone at the store with the new COVID restrictions and spoke with Rubin. Rubin graciously explained the safety measures and answered some questions. After chatting with him briefly, I ran down to the store to select my new phone. During the interaction in the store, Rubin continued to be as helpful, knowledgeable and courteous as I could possibly expect. Ordered my phone and happily went on my way. Received a follow up call the next day to let me know that my phone was on the way. Just another display of excellent customer service. Today we picked up the phone and Jay assisted us with transferring our data, and wrapping up the purchase. Again, professional, helpful, and friendly. I have fairly high standards for customer service. It's important to feel positive about your shopping experience, especially when you're purchase is an investment. Rubin and Jay both struck me as exceptional representatives of this store and brand, providing the kind of service that creates a loyal customer for their brand and store location. At this point, I would go out of my way to shop at this location knowing that the environment is a great one to be in.

He continually tried to sell me an upgrade which I declined. Finally he said if I did the upgrade I would be out of there in 10 minutes. That was 8 days ago, 4 trips to Verizon store, 1 trip to Apple store and 2 calls to Apple customer service. I still do not have all of the old information on my phone updated. These people will not help you, they just want to upsell on something you don't need. The shame is I am a 25 year Verizon customer and I pay Verizon over $600 per month.

They…read morewere quick to replace it, but the quality of the replacement is unacceptably low, especially for $100. The resolution of the replacement doesn't match and the durability of the glass pathetic. Once replaced, the phone went immediately into a case and sat on a counter over the weekend - on day three, with less than four hours of screen time and never being dropped, there is a crack across the entire screen and multiple scratches. This is compared to my personal iPhone 7 used daily for two years, in a similar case, without a single crack or scratch. Of course, I visited the store since there is a 30 day warranty. They would do nothing - "there can't possibly be a manufacturing defect in the glass, only the LCD." Moral is a $100 gets a knockoff screen that will not last, just roll that money into a new phone.

I had a small crack in the corner, and figured I would get it repaired. They replaced the screen in about an hour, and it seemed fine at first. Later that afternoon I noticed it was difficult to text - you had to press the keys twice as hard and much slower for the phone to recognize your touch input. This also persisted when scrolling on webpages - sometimes the phone didn't recognize a swipe. This issue has continued to this day. I wouldn't trust them to fix my phone if it were free.

I was told by the store employee that it would cost $300 to replace my phone screen, because the product/item being used as a replacement is a Samsung product/part. I kindly asked the staff member to see the breakdown on the computer that shows a detailed description of how and why he was charging me $300 to replace my phone screen for my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.  He refused to show me the price and the breakdown of the price in the system/computer. Prior to our interaction, I was present waiting in line when he allowed a female Latina customer to look at the computer. He had turned the computer to her so she could see and understand everything he was discussing with her. After they finished, he turned the computer back to his view and angle. When it was my turn, I asked him if I could see on the computer what I am paying for and he said No. More than once, I politely asked but he refused every time. All of the sudden, he says he doesn't speak English after he was just speaking perfectly with me in English. There were 2 gentleman that were in the store at the time. They decided to assist by conversing with the staff member in Spanish and they told him what I requested. He told them in Spanish that he understood and understands what I was requesting but that's just the price. By the way, I am fluent in Spanish. As a result, I feel discriminated against since my complexion did not match everyone's who came in the store. The Basis for discrimination: I was discriminated against based on my appearance and race, as evidenced by the different treatment I received and the staff member's sudden and implausible claim of not speaking English. This is also a deceptive practice: For refusing to provide me with a detailed breakdown of a $300 service, while providing one to another customer. Combined with the sudden language barrier claim. I had no idea that they could get by with that without telling me. My phone isn't overheating anymore but the battery is still draining almost as quickly.
