A customer's skin color should not determine how they are treated. I made a legitimate purchase of Apple AirPods, yet the experience made me feel unfairly scrutinized. As a result, the product is being returned, and I will not be spending any more money at this location. To make matters worse, after escalating my concerns to Best Buy's executive team, I received a follow-up call that felt dismissive and failed to meaningfully address the issue. Customer service at this location has clearly declined. If this behavior continues, it is not surprising that customers will take their business elsewhere. I was warmly greeted by the manager and he asked me what I was interested in. After discussing what I mainly use my computer for, he recommended a Dell Intel 5 (which is what I was interested in). Although he didn't have one in the store, he ordered it for me and it arrived the next morning. I was asked to bring in my existing desktop to do the data transfer at lunchtime. Around 3:00 pm they called and said it was ready for pickup. I went in and was warmly greeted by Jon, the service manager. He showed me the display changes between the Windows 11 display vice my previous Windows display. He was very detailed and answered all of my questions. The total cost was very reasonable.
