I've been to this store a couple of times to add new devices to my service. Max is amazing! He takes time to set up my service and port my data from the old phone to the new phone. WiFi/cellular reception is next to non-existent for the Pocket area. Tech support for WiFi set-up was difficult at best. The technicians did not seem knowledgeable at all, and could not answer questions as to why the service was weak or not working. In-store experience was good. I had the worst nightmare with the AT&T store on Delta Shore, Sacramento, CA. A staff member, Max W. assisted me with the cell phone plan. I was very clear and straightforward with him from the very beginning that I needed to know if there were any fees, including activation fees that came with the package. I asked him to be fully honest with me about the total price for the first month. I told him I need to know and see the total price before I can make my decision whether the plan is right for me or not. He kept going back and forth, talking to Manny, the store manager, while I was waiting. After almost two long hours, we agreed on a price package. He had me sign on his IPAD for the contract. The next day, I received an email from the AT&T main office showing a charge that was THREE times the price I agreed on. I printed out the email that showed the new charges and went to talk to Manny, the store manager. When I arrived at the store, I showed Manny the email with the new charges and tried to explain to him the situation. Instead of being nice, respectful, and kindly explaining the charges to me, he yelled at me and said I needed to deal with it by paying whatever the charge showed on the email invoice. He refused to listen to me, because he already knew the hidden charges before I signed the contract. Manny and his employee lied to me about the fees and the extra charges that were intentionally undisclosed to me from the beginning. What made the situation even worse was that he dared to berate me with horrible, immature, disrespectful, unprofessional, and extremely rude. Manny is a horrible person who taught his employees to lie, scam, cheat, and trick you just for your signatures on the contract. Stay away from this AT&T store while you can. DO NOT let Manny and his staff lure you into signing for something you did not know about or that was hidden from you. Untrustworthy Employee named Maria, G. DO NOT upgrade your phone with Maria, G. She will add several add on to your upgrade for commission pay without informing you that she has. On Sunday 2/23/25 I called this at&t twice and no one answered, so I decided to go in. The store was empty when I got there. I wanted to add a line to my plan and maybe upgrade my phone. Maria, G. approached asked if I needed help and I informed her of the add on plan. I asked Maria if the store had some 256GB Samsung s25 regular phone? In which she replied, "yes we do have it." Once we added the extra line in my plan we proceeded to upgrade my phone. Maria asked if I wanted a Samsung pro 3 earbuds or a phone case, screen protector and charging block. I told Maria I don't need any of those. Maria said, I needed to get one since it was a "BUNDLE." I went ahead and got the "bundle" earbuds. Maria then went to the back to get my 256GB S25, but then came back empty handed saying they didn't have any. Maria said she can upgrade the phone and I'll receive it via mail. I told Maria if the S25 phone could be sent to the store. She said yes and she'll call me when it arrives. Maria asked for a few codes (I was assuming it was for my upgrade) that were sent via at&t text to my phone. I gave her the # codes. I received a email about Any Time Upgrade. I asked Maria what that was and She informed me that will be canceled. Maria informed me she was done and she will call me once the phone arrives. I decided to log in my att.com account to see if I could have upgrade my phone myself. I realized the Samsung pro3 earbuds is NOT a "bundle" just an add on for 50% off only when you upgrade. Things were definitely fishy. I tracked my phone which arrived 3 day later. I went back on Saturday knowing my phone had arrived and NEVER got a phone call that it arrived. When I arrive I saw Maria, G. but then she went to the back of the store and never came back. I was then asked if I needed helped by another employee. I asked the employee if I upgrade my phone to the new s25 is the Samsung pro3 earbuds a bundle set? He said, "No." I asked to take to Maria, G. but all of a sudden Maria, G. decided to go to lunch. I requested to return everything that Maria. G. did with my upgrade. Horrible experience and you are a horrible person Maria, G. Turns out Maria, G. added to my upgrade five (5) add on. We had to dealt with customer service line & the agent on the phone was able to remove only the protection fees, was advise to allow the 14 days & call back to remove the Next Up fee. I have been with AT&T for over 20 years and this is the worst experience I have ever had with AT&T. I ordered a iPhone 12 Pro from Tyler and he promised me that I could come in and he would transfer all the data over for me and take my trade-in. After the phone was delivered to me, I went to the store to get all my data transferred over and do my trade-in. When I got there, there was 3 guys just standing around with no customers. After a few minutes one of them asks me what I need and tells me they can't do the transfer and another guy just hands me a sheet on how to do it. I understand it is COVID and there are restrictions, but don't promise me things when you are trying to sell me and then not follow through afterwards. I go home and do the the transfer/activation myself. I then go back into the store a few days later to trade-in my phone and they ask me for all this personal information and tell me they can't do it. I have never been asked so many personal questions from AT&T in my life! I decide to go to another AT&T store near by and they do the transaction in less than 2 minutes. I don't really write reviews anymore, but these experiences were so horrible that I decided to come out of retirement. Came in at 11AM on Sunday and store was not open yet. 3 customers were outside waiting too. Waited 30 minutes and still not open yet, so I left. Decided to come back later on in the day and try to look at phones again. Someone was actually in working this time. Only salesperson was busy with someone so I waited and looked around. Didn't say anything to me at all. When he was done he came over. I asked him a few questions about the phone and wasn't really familiar with it. His entire attitude put me off. I've been a loyal AT & T customer for almost 20 years. I upgraded at this store last year. On 10-24-20, I upgraded another phone. I also bought earbuds as the rep said no earbuds came with the phone. When I got home, there were corded earbuds in the box. At the time of purchase, there was no mention about return or restocking fees. There's nothing posted in the store or on my receipt either about any fees associated with returns. On 11-01-20, I went to this store to return a box of unopened wireless earbuds. The cellophane and barcode was still on the box. I was told that there was a $14.31 (10%) restocking fee. This unopened box fit in the palm of my hands. All the rep had to do was put it back on the shelf. I learned from this experience to always buy your accessories from online retailers that clearly post their policies. The Delta Shores AT& T sore is operated by Prime Comms. This isn't about the money, it's about fair business practices. These kinds of unprofessional practices would make me be concerned about how they handle product defects as well. In this day and age, a business needs to be upfront and let people know they charge fees for returns, etc... When I walked out of the store, I felt like I just walked off a used cat sales lot. This is not how you treat loyal customers in such a competitive environment. Next time, when it's time to upgrade, I'll be going to Verizon or T-mobile where I can save money, as AT & T showed no loyalty to a regular customer for nearly 20 years. read more

She listened to my explanation carefully. She took time to investigate my situation, submitted a claim for me, and called me back to give me updates on the claim. She was able to help me solve this terrifying six-month long problem and save me A LOT of money. I really appreciate her patient and her willingness to help me. The service was horrible, they were slow only 3 people working. After getting my phone the sales man told me their internet was too slow to do the transfers on my phone for me to do it at home and just download the app. He also didn't give me any information on what my installment plans would be or what my new monthly charges would be. He also added on insurance plan without asking, i only knew because i received an email. I have been with att for years and they are usually very helpful and go step by step with you. Hmmm...should've listened to the review on here. Where do I start? The guy that helped me was Shahab M. Not the best service. He kind of mumbled and didn't sound like he knew what he was doing or even understood what I was saying. A lot of his responses sounded like they were off the cuff and making them up on the spot. So I didn't feel confident at all with his service. He just seemed rushed and wanted to get me out. All I did was go for a phone upgrade. And hopefully he didn't fuck up my payment plan on my phone. I asked for the trade in offer at the beginning and once my phone was on he was ready to push me out without doing the trade in offer. I had to remind him. He was very unorganized and had to keep starting over. He was impatient with the whole process. Everyone else in the store seemed to be helped by better reps. I was asking him what the difference was between the iPhone 12 and X that I had and all he could say was better camera and faster processor. Really dude? You don't even know your products? Really disappointing service. And with the trade in offer he said that my monthly payments went down to $5/month. That doesn't add up and I even did the math afterwards and it didn't make sense. He tried to add insurance and I said no I have it already. Then he said oh let me see. And then he double checked and said oh ok just on 4 lines. And I said ok so I have it. I am no longer a customer at AT&T but I had a problem with my account. I was told I owed money for a phone that I had returned 6 months ago. I was extremely upset and I called the store to thankfully get the assistant manager MELISSA. She was extremely nice and made it a priority to fix the situation. Even though I am not a customer anymore she went above and beyond to help me. She kept in contact with me all day as she was working on the issue and even gave me her personal phone number. She put me at ease and made me feel really comfortable that she was going to handle it and she did. She has turned this whole experience around for me and I am thankful that she was there today. She is the best employee that I have encountered at that store and she deserves a praise!!!! read more

I wish I would have read all the reviews before walking into this store. Boy, do I regret it. I will NEVER deal with an authorized ATT dealer ever again. I purchased a case & attempted to return it & was told it was scratched. At first, an exchange was not even an option, however, after being dissatisfied with the service, they offered to exchange it after 3 phones calls to the store. Prior to going in today to finally complete my exchange, I took my case to the actual ATT corporate store because I wanted to ask if they would return my case, at which time Ruben & the store manager both indicated that they would. They even explained that the all ATT authorized dealers have a standard they must meet with ATT & denying a full return for something as simple as a $70 case was obvious for employee promotions/commission. Mind you, the case was minor cosmetic blemishes & not a scratch like DS ATT claims. Anyhow, long story short, I wish I could have returned my phone too since I am still in the 14 day trial period. I absolutely did not want this ATT store to get the satisfaction from the way they treated me & the sale of my phone. Stephanie is rude AF. Her speech, her tone rings disrespectful. She will cut you off & expect you to listen to her, but not hear a thing you say. And accuse you of information she supposedly "told" you but never did unless you mentioned it first. In addition, thank goodness we did not try to open a First Net account thru them as they did not provide correct information. Overall, I got my case exchanged, however preferred it returned. Anyone who reads this review, be careful --- go directly to the corporate store in Elk Grove, it is not worth it to give them your business over a measely $70. PS - especially if you're Asian, I notice the reviews appear to be from many Asian customers. read more
