I walked into this store to help get some help for my elderly father who lost his cell phone. We were greeted promptly but after that it was as though we didn't exist. I patiently waited as I watched person after person who walked in after us get helped ASAP. None of them stated they had a scheduled appointment. After waiting the 45 minutes not one employee even looked at us. It was as though we were invisible. You would think some employee would check in with us and give us an update on how much longer our wait may be. Having worked in customer service for years I am appalled that ATT considers this "good customer service." I am even more shocked that this is actually a "corporate " store. I sincerely hope after reading my review that ATT gets some serious help for their employees and training. To make a long story short I will not be returning and taking my business elsewhere. read more

Apparently, this is a corporate location and I needed to have a problem with my account sorted out specifically by a corporate location. They were not able to help me which in itself was frustrating and disappointing but what was worse was the attitude. No apologies. No sense of any obligation to try to help me. They acted like I was bothering them in trying to resolve my problem. They didn't even earn the one star I had to give. read more

Nelly waited on us and spent over an hour going through our phones to try to resolve the problem(s). He even made several phone calls on our behalf, which we did not expect him to do. Nelly's service and help simply outstanding! He was the most helpful person we came across after speaking to att corporate on the phone AND the ladera store. Nelly was able to swiftly help with an account consolidation that the ladera store and customer support number could not. We were on the phone for more than hour going back and forth- Nelly understood my situation and was able to apply a solution and course of action in 10 minutes. His associate, Cyrus did help as well. I simply appreciate how helpful this entire store was compared to what we previously experienced. I was assisted by Adam when I had an appointment at 1:30 PM and he took me at 1:20 PM which was really efficient and he was very professional assisted me in every way and went beyond my expectations. Adam is an asset to AT&T and I would recommend that store over any of the others in the area. That particular store helped me with one on one contact and the three other local AT&T stores told me they couldn't help me. I had to go on the Internet to get a replacement phone. Nice people but petty useless. My incapacitated sister lost her phone. After spending hours talking to online support, I was able to get the account number and paid the bill up to date. To get her phone number on a backup phone, online support said go to a store. I went to this store with the backup phone, a Power of Attorney, the account number, and the pin. They said they needed the lost phone to transfer the number to the backup phone? What the F??? The lost phone was why I was there. Either they were untrained or too lazy to call their support to see how to move the number to the backup phone. This cannot be a unique problem. Phones get lost all the time! My phone died and my husband was gone so I drove to this store to replace my phone. We had an issue with me being an authorized user and I needed to call my husband and also get ahold of another store. I asked if they could help me call and they said no. They also gave me incorrect information. I drove to the Pico store and they were so staff was immediately helpful. They immediately offered for me to use their phone and continued to help me solve the problem. I will not be coming back here. read more

Had an appointment to hopefully switch from Cox cable to AT&T. Getting there a few minutes early, the guy was with two female customers, said he'd be 20 more minutes. I would like to say the customer service was poor; however, they refused to provide any service whatsoever. Tried to make a payment on an account for my deceased friend and to close the account. I was told only the manager could help me and that I had to wait an hour for him to return from lunch. Refused to take the information to allow the manager to call me back including my phone number, account number and copy of the death certificate. Store employees are Rude and Unhelpful. We went by this store on Friday, May 26. The 2 younger male store employees who were working around 7:30 p.m. were abrupt and dismissive and exhibited a remarkable disinterest in even providing basic customer service. The store hours are listed as closing at 8 p.m. With more than twenty minutes of time until the store closed, the employees tried to make the store look like it was closed by closing all the window treatments and locking the door. They would not even answer basic questions, including what the store hours are or when they would open the next day. This store should either change their listed store hours if their employees do not want to work their full shift and stay open for their listed hours or hire employees that actually want to work. read more

Words cannot describe the dismay I've had with AT&T as an ISP for the past 10 years. The performance ranks in the bottom 15% of the entire country - completely unacceptable! I'm forced to pay for the upgrade to fiber optic cables that didn't apply to us living by the beach. Any chance of viewing your high def tv screen in a quality better than choppy and pixelated is not an option. Just hope that your program doesn't crash repeatedly due to the slow speed. They have a 2 star rating for a reason. Management there is horrible! We bought a black I watch from ATT and was given a pink one on accident. It was purchased for a Mother's Day gift. When asked if they had a black one in stock, I was told there would be a $50 restocking fee. I didn't ask for a pink watch. I asked for a black one so now you want me to pay $55 fee to get the right now? Restaurants should start doing this too so when a burger comes to my table, I will have to pay $5 to swap it for a chicken sandwich I originally ordered. Was the $55 really worth it for you to be so rude Nick at ATT and Daren are Daniel the manager of this location? Is that $55 that you can for sure waive really worth pissing off a customer and upsetting a mother on Mother's Day? Was there REALLY nothing you could do, or were you just being a dick for no reason. I'm not gonna say I'm changing services to Verizon or something dumb like that, because ATT did nothing wrong. It was their staff at 2 locations, both Dana Point and San Clemente that are the issue. At&t in general is horrible. They suck you in with the promise of "fiber optic" and sell you on a "package" deal... Internet, cable, phone. Then, when you discover that fiber optic is not an option for your specific location, you're still stuck with the other services because they make it nearly impossible to cancel. They play games. Ryan has helped me out twice. He is pleasant and kind and approachable. He was not making a hard sell. He changed SIM cards last Friday evening. This evening, I needed assistance with getting aol mail on my device and setting up CarPlay in my Nissan Rogue. I bought a screen protector from him because I wanted him to put it on and he provides excellent customer service whether I am making a purchase or not. The manger at the AT&T store by Walmart couldn't help switch SIM cards for me because their computer system was down. It took a paper clip to open both phones and I could have proven I was an AT&T customer by showing my bill. That store changed their hours to close at 7:00pm instead of 8:00p. 3 months ago I decided to switch to AT&T. Went to my local store where the gentleman at the store displayed discomfort in front of my black husband. Then again the next day when I asked my daughter and black military husband to go and pick phones so we can get a family plan. The man treated them poorly. Racist behavior. I let it go. We did. Next day I went back and told him whom the people he was rude to where. He had no excuse. Just entitlement demeanor He could not help us. So I came back let it go and got a plan they did not right up well. The white man on staff did not even want to give me recipes said he would emailed them. . I left it alone. Came back two weeks the could not find my trade in. According to customer service. Ext. called today and a none gentleman name Aren manager on site i told him what happened and I said. And I quote. No one ever gave me a piece of paper for my trade-in they like professionalism with executing their part of the deal and he said do you know who it was and I was like I don't know some white guy on staff and he took offense to that and decided to be extremely rude to me and said that I was slandering when I wasn't all I was saying was it was a white guy not the Mexican one I don't know his name so maybe the manager could've volunteered the name of the people that were there and I could be like oh yeah that same or not. Anyways he was super rude to me hung up the phone refused to give me his full name or a contact to a manager that oversees him. He decided to stereotype me and tell me that I was being a slander when all I said was the white guy who works there I don't know his name. I was the first person in line at this store at opening hours 10AM with a technical support question. I was referred to come to the store by Att customer service. I was helped at first, but the store employee that helped me referred me to call technical support back to investigate my issue. The phone rep asked to speak to the store employee to walk them thru helping me with my issue. When I tried asking the store employee to help me with this, she said there were other customers in line and refused to help me. I didn't feel my issues were acknowledged or that she handled the store inquiries in the order they came. I feel there were far better ways, on the store's side, to help with my problem. read more

I decided to switch from sprint to Atnt the last weekend of November 2017 . After only a few days of use of new services with AT&T I decided to leave them and return to sprint, their service was terrible and had only bad experiences (I know right?) I had leased two brand new phones with AT&T and fortunately was within the grace period to return the phones with NO PENALTY and only a small re stocking fee. Got my receipt for the returned devices at this store and was on my way. After a few months had gone by I received a phone call from a collection agency saying that my phones were never returned. So obviously I drove to the store where I returned my phones and sure enough found that when they took my phones they accidentally hit the wrong code in their system and made it look like I hadn't returned them. The young lady apologized and gave me my receipt and said it was handled. This was right around early 2018. To my suprise I kept getting debt collector calls harassing throughout the year and finally I said enough is enough and Called AT&T corporate and demanded to speak to a manager. After a long battle back and forth I managed to talk to a manager and they assured me they handled the issue. This was in mid 2018 As you can imagine I am extremely upset and frankly angry that now, JULY 2019, another collection agency called me and my case has escalated to the point of dropping my credit score 33 points!!!!! All after I was assured this was settled and thought it was behind me. I understand mistakes are made; but at this point it feels like no real effort has been put forth on AT&Ts end to fix my problem. And now I am paying for it with a credit hit to my report!!! read more

Oh my gosh - do not go here! Not only are they rude, but they don't do what they say they're going to do. They were supposed to disconnect my daughter's line after they talked me into buying her a new phone and issuing her a new number. THEY DIDN'T DISCONNECT her old line! So they charged me for her new line AND her old line. I didn't realize the mistake for a few months. Corporate AT&T actually REBUKED the manager of this corporate store and made her issue me a refund. A high level manager of corporate AT&T actually recommended that I no longer go here. As a corporate AT&T store, they're allowed to disconnect lines, but they don't do it (even when they say they will). So if you MUST go here - you have to double check everything they do (by calling AT&T). Because they will not follow through (on what they should do) and charge you for things you didn't know they would. read more

I usually don't write reviews and I stopped going to this AT&T store a while ago but I wanted to give it another chance since my last experience was unpleasant. A kind man named Dean helped me! He was really knowledgeable and friendly and also followed up with me on a couple of issues and questions I had. I was able to get a really great deal for my upgrade and I saved money and for the first time I didn't get any surprised charges! Really great experience!! Not so much a review of sales/management at this store, but for the after sale customer experience/support I attempted to receive when I called this store and got handed off/(escalated) to AT&T NATIONAL Call Center for customer care. It's "impossible to get satisfaction" from AT&T personnel. They tell you one thing but then deliver something different by leaving out key information in a deceitful way by making excuses on why the contract you just verbally approved is different from the emailed "summary" thus send you. This hands down has been the worst experience that Ive ever had with a cellular carrier. From being lied to at the store about our contract and "Free" promotional personal pads. Which I wrote down the financial numbers and agreed contract. That I have.... To; The worst service in the PierBowl area out of any carrier. I had no problem as a matter of fact Zach was super helpful, polite, got me discount after discount. I'm a senior and never felt like he talked down to me. I've bought many phones over the years and it always takes a while to get the phone switched over, sometimes having to wait for the systems to do what they need to do. Literally the worst AT&T store. The employees are uneducated on correct sales and promotions. We've been being over charged for months. I went in 3 different times to get the issue resolved and basically every time they told me to kick rocks. They'd look at my bill and tell me it would resolve itself. It took calling customer service to finally get my issue resolved. It was an easy fix with a phone call. I don't feel I should've had to jump through hoops when it was their mistake. My wife and I upgraded our phones and was sold a plan that didn't exist. Once we got our bill and it was much higher than previously billed We called the corporate office to get it handled. Dean Daneshmand did an outstanding job filling me in on the internet and tv options offered. He went the extra mile showing me what the equipment looked like and demonstrated how they worked. His demeanor was very informative and helpful without the sales pressure most of us detest. To top it all off, and what really impressed me about his customer service skills, was his follow-up on internet installation day. He checked in with me to be sure a tech had contacted me re: the install time and he wanted to know when the tech arrived and left, just to be sure everything was done properly and to answer any questions I might have had. I could not have asked for better service and would not hesitate to recommend Dean to anyone considering AT&T services. read more

Went to return an iPhone that I had bought five days before that wasn't working. After talking with AT&T technical support was told to return the phone to the store I Purchased it from which I tried to do. I could tell from the very beginning staff did not want to deal with me because I wasn't there to buy a phone I was there to have to return something that was faulty. I was made to feel as though I didn't know how to operate my phone and that the phone was really not a problem. I was treated rudely unprofessional and felt that management should have stepped in and she did not want to deal with it at all and wouldn't handle the issue. Let me start by saying the store itself is very nice, as it is brand new. That being said, in this instance looks were very deceiving. I walked in, stood at the door for about 5 mins to not have either sales agent acknowledge my existence (this was with no other customers around aside from the ones they were working with). I'm in customer service, a simple "hello, someone will be with you soon." goes a long way. Needless to say, I have been with at & t for over ten years based on their customer service (as their overall mobile service is spotty), this experience completely let me down. If I could give negative stars I would. Katie look for a new job. After 2 decades with att (and terrible service, customer care, and high fees) we cancelled our three lines today. No regards to reality after att said we would be credited a service we could not access overseas they said just go to the store to have the service refunded. They claimed we had access which we did not and confirmed with the overseas carrier that it was not used. This should be zero surprise to anyone using att anyway as they are famous for zero coverage and crap service. Enjoy the outages the poor coastal coverage and absolute lack of customer service. Good riddance. Losing customers that have paid over 75 thousand in combined services over those years over $60 fee that was completely unused. Insane. But clearly you need zero brain to work there lol so shame on me for even giving them my money to begin with. read more
