This was total waste of time. I wanted to upgrade my phone knew exactly what I wanted and had researched ahead of time. The only rep there and his name tag said trainee . I told him what I wanted and waited until he came up with a price $35 more than what it should be. His manager came out helping someone else. When I told the trainee there must be something someone could do because I knew he was wrong but he said no. The manager should have assisted. I guess I'll do it on line . AT&T Store - My wonderfully antiquated service with AT&T - Mobile Phones Near Me - San Tan Valley, Arizona

We have been ATT customers for many years and when the need arises we head into a store to get phone issues addressed or buy accessories. In almost all cases, we are at the very least greeted by store associates. However, upon our arrival and during our brief visit we were greeted in no way by anyone working there. The customer service was abysmal, no acknowledgement of our presence. We came to purchase a phone case for my wife's new phone, but ended up getting it online while we were waiting since it appeared that we were not important enough to be addressed, even to let us know they were busy and would be with us as soon as possible. Thankfully I've had better (though still not stellar) service at a couple of the other local ATT stores. I won't be back or recommend this site to anyone I care about. I've always had great service until today I came in because my phone was not connecting to the cellular service but everything else worked. I was talking with a nice young lady and she was telling me that it was most likely my sims card. Well very long story short, I'm guessing her manager came up and started to tell her stuff contrary to customer service. Don't know the twenty something year old, I'm guessing he's going by the gender of a male. He walked up in I believe suspenders and some type of facial hair. Not sure what he's getting paid by by his attitude, I'm not the first one to walk out of that place with the attitude of go **** yourself I'll take my business and money elsewhere. After almost 2 years of non-existent service with Verizon in Sun City at Anthem Ranch I bit the bullet and switched to AT&T. David was very helpful with our purchase of two iPhones and the AARP service plan. They had the phones we wanted in stock. So far the coverage down Hunt HWY has been much better and it's 5G. My phone works in the front yard! The phone setup was fast and easy. Transferring the data from our old phones took about an hour and a half. The monthly cost is a bit less than the competition. I looked at Consumer Cellular (CC) but really wanted an iPhone 15 which CC doesn't offer. I was also concerned about CC throttles back bandwidth and the amount of data I use. 2gb a month. Not an issue with AT&T. So far so good. read more

Going into an AT&T store is right up there with visiting the local Ikea or giving my nether region a Brazilian wax when it comes to things I would like to do on a Sunday. Unfortunately the need recently surfaced when my wife needed a new phone, and as the NCAA is on hold I reluctantly agreed to go. I chose this place because it had just opened so I figured it might not be as busy as an established location. I was correct on that account, as we had to go there twice; once to get the phone, and again to review a question on the bill. Both times the place was darn near deserted and we were quickly helped by a very nice guy who answered all of our questions and didn't try to upsell her a phone with a ton of memory in it once he looked at her current memory usage. I am sure once people figure out this location has opened it will be just as swamped as the rest of the locations but for now it's a great place to go if you have to get new phone. On a side note, as I write this review the Corona Virus is currently sweeping the world and everybody is losing their collective minds. When we walked in the place smelled of hospital disinfectant and one of the employees was doing nothing but walking around cleaning every phone, tablet and surface in the place. When a customer left she walked over and disinfected whatever that person had touched. Unfortunately it's not paranoia right now, but just common sense until we get this nonsense behind us, and it was nice seeing that they are doing their part to help keep their store and customers safe. read more

I highly recommend not doing business at this location. Go a few miles down the road to the Ellsworth location. A salesperson named Abbey lied to my face and cheated me in order to sale me a phone. She said that my plan was discontinued and the new plan she gave me would save me $70 a month. And this is with a new iphone14. No brainer right? Well there was no new plan. She told me that just to sell me a phone. It is disgusting and dishonest what Abbey did to me. This location will cheat you and lie to you. When I went in to find out why my plan hadn't changed all I got was silence. I implore you to go to another location. Going here cost me over $800 a year. If it happened to me it'll happen to others. i have been long standing customer of at&t, was sick and in and out of hospital. out of work for over a month, my phone was suspended due to non-payment, which is understandable, but upon contacting them and letting them know why, they were not willing to work with me even though i have had an excellent history with them. they have very very, poor customer service and do not care about keeping their customers. or interested in working with those who need assistance in these hard times, i immeadiately cancelled all services and am looking for another provider , will absolutely never work with this company again, i will never again associate with at&t again. as a human being i am so sorry that i inconvienanced this company by not paying my bill and causing them to possibly have to file for bancrupsy because of a bill less than 200.00, a multi million business!!!! and they could wait 1 week to collect the remaininng balance. i think that is ridiculous . if you are a currect customer or looking for service my recommendation would be to find another provider !!!!! read more

Went in for help doing an insurance claim. I tried to do it online and was instructed to verify my account. Went into the store, with three employees and one other customer. First sales associate told us to use the iPad to do it. He left. The iPad wouldn't load. He started helping another customer so we waited. Another associate came over to help and after she connected it, walked away. We received the same prompt that we needed to verify our account. Stood around 5 more minutes and no one was around to help. Two associates spend 5 seconds with us. After stopping in the AT&T store off of Ellsworth on Sunday, where I had a less than modest reception, I stopped into the AT&T store off of Ocotillo. What an amazing difference! I was actually greeted and given first class service! I desperately needed to replace my 5S Apple phone! The front cover was hanging on by a thread and I was very concerned that I would either have a fire or a total loss of all my data!! I mentioned to Kyle that I was very disappointed with my first AT&T visit and that I really felt ignored by Mercedes, my host. I asked if I was eligible for any discounts. Mercedes had told me no. We are so pleased to finally have an AT&T store in our neighborhood! We visited them yesterday because we had some technical operational problems with our iPhones and one tablet. Technician Kyle immediately took care of our concerns, helped us to 'undo' the things we had done by accident, and got our phones back to working perfectly. We need to wait a few days to reset one password for the tablet after Kyle sent out a request for that. Robert, the store Manager was there on hand as well. They made us feel welcomed and 'entitled' to seek out their services. We were even treated to chocolate chip cookies! It can't get any better than that! We are senior citizens, retired, and sometimes feel a little baffled by technical glitches. Kyle and Robert made us feel at ease and they even invited us back any time we need their expertise. If zero stars were possible that would be my rating. We went into this store asking what it would take to get our boys each a new iPhone for Christmas, knowing we weren't eligible for an upgrade. We wanted to see if there was a way and what it would cost. We told the rep that we would be willing to pay off 2 phones in order to upgrade but she suggested ghost lines. She said we could get these ghost lines, get the trade on deal for iPhone 13s and only pay taxes. I asked 3 times before doing this if she was sure we could get new lines and would not have to pay the monthly fees for said lines. She said no cost, just swap SIM cards then call AT&T to have them change our current lines to the new phones then cancel the ghost lines. She also said they couldn't do it at the store, we would have to call AT&T to do that (in hindsight that should have been a red flag). Christmas came and went and when we tried to call and cancel we were told we couldn't but that there won't be a charge because we didn't activate the ghost lines. Then our bill came and it almost doubled with new line charges as well as insurance on all lines that we never asked for. This is the shadiest dealing I have ever had with a reputable company and CANNOT WAIT until I can get the H$!! away from AT&T. I don't care who my next cell phone service provider will be but it WILL NOT be AT&T EVER again. read more
