Absolutely aggravating experience! Went in to upgrade 4 phones only to be lied to about the free iPhone promotion. Instead we had different phones/plans/device charges on free phones! Made so many trips to the store and phone calls to try and correct all the errors. It was simple. All phones should be the same with the same plan. If you have an issue suggest filing a complaint with Verizon and not attempting to deal with the staff and management here as their level of competency is a zero. read more

Went in there to simply upgrade my phone. Instead, I got slammed with all these up sells as well as something about getting an additional free line that they kept pushing on me. Employee went back to get an idea what color phones she had, great. Came back without a phone and a "New deal" from the manager about a great deal on an extra line. One that I specifically said I had no use for. Why do I need an extra line to just sit there and not be used? Makes no sense. I could tell Jordan was just doing her job, but going into this particular Verizon store was worse than going to a car dealership. Explains why last time I went there were 12 unhappy people in front of me trying to be helped. This is the worst Verizon store around! The first time we encountered an issue it was a simple transfer of a phone number to an old phone, and they wouldn't do it. Drove into Gilbert and was in and out in less than 30 min. This time my daughter stopped to drop off a trade-in, they wouldn't accept it because she's not an authorized person on the account. It's a TRADE IN, all you should need is the phone number and the phone. Came in to check on why my phone stopped receiving text messages. The short, fuller, hispanic man helped us out and talked us into upgrading all 3 phones on my account. I paid for what he told me were "taxes" on the phones. My next payment was then charged over double of what i was told my new bill would be. We called and they said they had no idea (after 30 min) and to come in to the store. We came into the store and the lady - Sarah Kennedy - asked us what we needed help with. She continued to make faces and shake her head when i was attempting to tell our issue. She kept saying "we dont do that here" while im explaining my frustration that i know and im upset because thats what i was TOLD by their representative! Absolutely asinine. Come back 10 minutes later to find our name was passed and the guy at the front was extremely rude and unhelpful of our situation. Mind you, we are only needing to turn in an old device!! This Verizon is AWFUL. We came to work on an online order that was paused due to us needing to validate our address. We just built a home and we were in the process of moving in, so our address was different than our IDs. The online agent told us to just head to the store and they could help validate. The heavier set girl with the dark hair "greeted" us just as I was checking us into the tablet. She was immediately rude and upset that she had to move away from her table of fellow coworkers laughing and goofing off. We tried to explain the situation to her but she kept telling us that there was nothing she could do. She was condescending, and clearly didn't care in the slightest. Rightfully so, I became aggravated. I asked for a manager who came over and was JUST as bothered and lazy as the previous girl. We try to explain the whole thing again, he then glanced at his tablet and said "oh this is CONFIRMED fraud". He profiled us instead of trying to help us! We went to the Verizon at Signal Butte & the 60 and they were embarrassed by this Verizon's actions. They helped us, and we left with new phones and internet. The only reason this gets 2 stars and not one is the man greeting me at the door. He was extremely welcoming and helpful. Other than that it was a horrible experience. The sales rep had no effort whatsoever and acted with zero care. Had him take my phone and he just flicked it back to me with no acknowledgment. I get being a salesman and trying to make the money but there's a difference between a good-helpful salesman and a bad-effortless salesman. The worst customer service I have ever encountered. Employee Rosemary stared me down and Immanuel or Emmanuel (I'm not sure how it is spelled) jumped into a conversation I was having with Rosemary about her subpar customer service skills. She was unhelpful, rude and her personality was cold and flat. She literally stared me down like she was going to fight me. Why be in customer service? If you don't really care to make the experience a positive one? Bc mine wasn't and neither was my daughter's. Rosemary and Emmanuel need to treat customers like customers matter and stop treating everyone like a criminal out to steal someone else's phone. Ridiculous. That's why no one wants to go into Verizon stores bc of this unprofessionalism. It isn't only this store. It seems many of the stores in the Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek area have horrendous customer service. I went in to the corporate store and they're telling me to call again because there is nothing they can do. They said when they pull up the account, it shows that a $398 credit was applied but when i show them my account and bank charges that lists it never came in and was never deducted from the bill.. they say they don't know what's going on. The new account had been set up through a less than scrupulous salesman, at another location, who neglected to inform us of all the steps necessary in order to trade in the phones to get the "refund" ie: have them charged, know your Apple ID etc. calling customer support is an exhausting endeavor with prompts and then outsourced, untrained people answering the phone the standard reply being "I understand". (After 2 hours on the phone the issue was still unresolved) Do you? Do you understand that I pay you and have paid you promptly for 14 years, but can not get an issue resolved by someone with a service mindset. Hi, my name is laura stowasser. We are Verizon customers and also have 2 work phones through Verizon. Asurion service is offered Through Verizon as a third party agency that you guys contract with. we have been paying over the last several years for the service as well as the assurion addition.  my husband needed a replacement phone, set up an appointment with assurion for same day delivery on Saturday between 7 and 9pm. We received a phone call at 5:34 PM stating they will not be coming no reason as to why. and we needed to call back the following day after 7:00 AM and reschedule the same appointment... my husband did exactly that. Sunday we had an appointment scheduled for 5pm-7pm... This time they just never showed up. No call, nothing.After speaking with four different assurion employees as well as a supervisor that hung up on us because she " couldn't hear us" Never received a call back. At that point we were done with assurion as we had already paid the $250 deductible for the phone we never got.... the Verizon employee we spoke to was very kind however she transferred us back to assurion, we have gotten nowhere with them and they only wanted to schedule yet another appointment with us. In which we declined the offer because my husband needs his phone ASAP as it is his work phone and his means of making income. we are now three days into this  And yet again today we were inconvenienced with having to go to the Verizon store in hopes of a resolution. We walked in and said we need to speak to a manager because we've been having a lot of issues and it would just be easier to go straight there.... the employee was the manager and directed us towards a floor employee.... after we told her that we wanted to talk to a manager that same guy came back to talk to us... we had roughly over $500 left on the phone to be paid off, we told the manager that we felt we need to be compensated for the money that we have lost and are $250.00 payment to assurion that is still pending to be refunded. After an entire weekend of waiting around for a company that you guys contract with and offer services for we ended up having to pay over $500 in the store for a brand new phone because we don't have the time energy or money to waste on dealing with Verizon and assurion anymore, I highly suggest you reconsider your contract with assurion.  as well as I highly suggest you compensate customers when they get screwed over. I am absolutely disgusted with the customer service received from both companies.  I would hope such a large company like you would have no problem meeting a customer halfway when you are in the wrong.... we were more than willing to pay $250 towards the phone as we would have with assurion, we felt that was fair... the manager refused to help us in any way, Not to mention my husband has to trade in an old phone of OURS for a credit just so we don't have to pay the full amount of the new phone.  I called Verizon while my husband was in the store and I waited on hold  46.05 minutes to speak to a supervisor.... I was never transferred and after almost 47 minutes of being on hold I hung up because I don't have time for this I work from home and I travel nobody has time for this this needs to be fixed by your company immediately I honestly can't even believe I'm having to e-mail a higher up source to get this resolved this is totally a screw up on verizons end and assurion's end and I feel like it needs to be corrected, we got screwed by ypu guys and I'm I truly hope somebody contacts us about this,  I work for a national medical device company and I don't have the time or energy to be dealing with this I had to step away from work today to deal with this so I suggest somebody come up with a solution and contact us as soon as possible. read more

Terrible customer service. Both guys we worked with in there tonight were so rude and unprofesional.

We wanted to upgrade our iPhone 12s to the 14s because we are slaves to apple apparently. We came in one busy evening and waited about half an hour to be helped. JAMES helped us go over our plan and phone/trade in options and send us home with a quote. We made an appointment for a few days later and were helped by JACKSON, who was phenomenal. We ended up walking out with two new iPhones ordered, two new apple watches, and an upgraded plan for less than we were paying a month now. We were totally blown away by Jackson, who made it his personal mission to get us the best deal possible. Watching him work was like watching someone perform complex trigonometry with skill and precision. We threw every possible question and scenario at him and he explored and investigated every one until we got the best possible solution. 10/10. I really feel like we got a great deal and we were very pleased with our experience. We will definitely come back here for any further Verizon needs. read more

I went to this location last Sunday to close my Mom's cell phone account. She had passed away on February 17. Due to her dementia, she had misplaced her phone sometime in January & it was never found. This store really needs to work on their employee training. We went in to upgrade several phones on our account. We had a credit from a buy one get one with 11 months on one of the accounts and specifically asked Jerimiah if this would remain after an upgrade. He assured us we would retain this credit. We upgraded 3 phones and went on our merry way. The next day I received a message that the credit was being removed from my account! After working with Verizon's customer service over the phone they informed me that Jerimiah mislead us and the credit is removed when the phone is changed. Verizon customer service did make it better by crediting my account 3/4 of the difference. In summary corporate Verizon customer service was excellent but my experience at this store was terrible. I was apprehensive going to this store as I have had issues in the past with customer service and this was the worst case to date. I would recommend avoiding this store and either order online or find a better retail outlet. read more

*UPDATE 9/24/2021: Still horrible service at this location but customer service did everything the store front representatives said wasn't possible or handled things in MUCH more reasonable time frames.. Horrible service. Needed help replacing a stolen phone and possibly upgrading a qualifying line/phone. Rep stated nothing in stock except iPhone 12 mini. Haven't really looked at it and was directed to the phone so we can check it out. Rep walked us over to the general area of iPhones where another rep was helping customers with nothing related to purchasing new phones (international travel and their current phones). Rep was sitting on the display talking to these customers, never acknowledged us. We stood there for quite a while patiently waiting to look at the available phone for myself to upgrade to but the rep looked pretty comfortable. Ultimately just ended up leaving. After trying to do some research in the parking lot with other available stores in the area, the earliest available phone wouldn't ship until October 1st. We called back to check on availability of the iPhone 12 mini and the rep was rude and short and said nothing is in stock. We informed him we had just left the store and the rep there said it was the only one in stock. He clapped back and stated nope, we were wrong, nothing is in stock and only online orders were available at this time. Trying to get things sorted with Verizon Corporate currently. I'm gonna spend the money, just never at this store. Based on the other reviews, I shouldn't have wasted my time but they were the closest ones to me. lesson learned. read more
