Michael B was absolutely phenomenal in helping navigate a frustrating and complex mishap on AT&T's part. Even despite the useless redheaded manager sitting in his office and loudly joking around with fellow workers and not coming out to offer any assistance to his customer or his associate. Michael B took the time to address my issue to the fullest extent and provided guidance in resolution without hesitation. Michael B showed empathy with my frustration and took every step he could to help and I walked out feeling pretty confident in the issue being fixed. However. During my encounter that same useless redheaded manager...fully knowing I was irritated at the situation...decided to come out to the sales floor and make small talk with another female worker and then proceeded to do a little dance while playing on his phone. He is the least professional manager I think I have ever encountered. What an embarrassment to AT&T to have someone so far detached from customer service representing them. Ordered a new iPhone 17pro online at 3pm on a Monday. Received an email that I will get a pick up email in approx 2 hours. At 7:45pm I called the store several times to check the order before they closed. No one picked up the phone. Tuesday morning I called back no one answered again, I waited until noon, a man answered the phone didn't apologize just said the store was busy yesterday . He didn't take my name or number just put me on hold to "look" for my order. Not sure how he would do so without my information. After being on hold for over 25 Mins I hung up. Will cancel the order and just place one online. So much for trying to give a local store business. read more

Poor customer service at the AT&T store on Bouquet Canyon in Santa Clarita. No one acknowledged us when we walked in, and there was no clear check-in process. When we finally spoke to an employee, we were told they couldn't help us with a phone trade-in and were sent away to call support ourselves. Trade-in support confirmed we were still within the 30-day window and even spoke to the store employee, but the employee still refused to help. We went to the Northridge AT&T store the same day and were assisted immediately with no issues. This appears to be a location-specific customer service problem. He took time to call the dept. who takes care of the billing and able to correct the right amount back to my account. Michael's excellent customer service is a 5 ! I went to this store because it is a corporate store, I'm dealing with the death of a loved one and needed to get information on his account. I arrived with the death certificate and a copy of the trust showing I'm authorized to handle his affairs. I was met by some young girl at the door who was very rude from the start as soon her what I needed to so she proceeded to tell me I needed a manager she then stated the manager was off and to return next week. I find it ODD that a store employee cannot help me, heck Spectrum internet was very easy to deal with once I provided the death certificate. I wanted to share my recent experience at your store. Although the posted closing time was 8:00 PM, the doors were locked when I arrived at 6:50 PM. I could see employees inside, and I knocked on the door, but no one opened until I called the store directly. Once inside, I requested assistance to switch my prepaid plan to postpaid. However, I was told that they couldn't help me unless I opened a new account, which I found unnecessary as I had already contacted AT&T customer service about this. They locked the door again, even while I was still inside, I had to call customer service myself. They directed me to another AT&T store where the change was completed in under a minute without requiring a new account. I'm disappointed by the lack of support and the actions taken by the store employees. The process was simple and should not have been dismissed. This experience, combined with the poor in-store service, has led me to switch to T-Mobile. read more

I'm beyond disappointed. I thought AT&T was fast and efficient but all I have experienced is the opposite. I set up my service in store and a few days later my equipment came in the mail. Except that I was either missing equipment or something wasn't set up correctly that my internet wasn't working. My roommate and I called customer service to set up an appointment for a technician to come the following day. No one came and I spent hours on the phone with customer service explaining and repeating my self to multiple customer service representatives. It seems impossible to get a technician to come out. So I called the store to complain about my experience. They told me they would send a technician out the next day 8am-10am and of course no one shows up. So I call again and I'm told I will be called back. No call. Finally a technician shows up an hour later to tell me he can't do anything to help me set up the service even if he wanted to because the store hadn't submitted the paperwork for my internet or they hadn't finished setting it up on their end. The stores solution to this is for me to come all the way back in and re do everything I did the first time so they can re set up the internet like it was supposed to have been in the first place. I also have to go return my original box and wait for a new one to come in the mail and go through this whole process all over again. This is the worst experience I've had with a company like this. I'm starting to question the value of having AT&T service. Forgot to mention,I took off work to be around for a technician... I don't appreciate my time or money being wasted. read more

if the hours on the door reflect 8pm, please don't sit behind locked doors at 7:45. You have self service kiosks and a responsibility to be available until said hours. Also, to note; no signs posted on door indicating different or shortened hours, employee sitting front and center at table in front of locked doors. Yesterday I went to this AT&T store to upgrade my iPhone. I want to share my experience because, although we waited for 30 mins, I had exceptional customer service with a young lady named Crystal. She started by thanking me for waiting. She helped me decide which iphone would best suite me and explained the trade in, let me know how the charging cable was different than my current phone. She was so personable and friendly, it was a great experience purchasing my phone. I also want to state how unprofessional the manager was. While being helped by the young lady the manager interrupted us twice. The first time, the manager came over to our table and told her "what are you doing, you're not done with that customer" and she replied "there's nothing more I can do, they wanted to speak to you". And the manager said well don't let that happen again and walked away. Then for a second time the manager interrupted us while she fussed at her about doing or not doing something. At this point my mom who was helping me hold my baby was so upset she walked out. She want to go to the Apple Store instead but I felt bad for the girl helping us and she was really so helpful and I just wanted to get my new phone. I say this because I think the manager may be inexperienced with customer service and being a supervisor, you don't reprimand someone in front of a customer. read more

I just had a great customer service experience at the AT&T store in Santa Clarita. I dreaded going there for two reasons: 1) I expected to wait in line for an hour or more and 2) I am an old guy who knows nothing about my smartphone, which I keep in the car glove compartment in case I get a flat tire. re: my first concern: there was no line, no wait. And secondly, I received the most patient, helpful customer service I could have hoped for. I spent over an hour with customer service rep Leslie, who worked on my account, making the necessary changes, calling AT&T Corporate on my behalf, finding the best plan for me, and helping me use my phone. Wow! This is by far the worst customer service I have recieved from any company. After trying to take care of a $900 dollar mistake on their part, I was a little upset. I had been there three times with appointments to try to resolve the issu . The manager Derrick, said that he would have to consult with area manager to fix the error. Well three weeks went by and nothing was done. He said that there might be a chance he couldn't do anything about the mistake. Long story short I got upset and Derrick started to call 911. I was finally able to get error resolved after talking with Diego the area manager myself. Horrible experience! read more

I don't even know why I wasted my time coming here. I came in to purchase a phone case and two fast chargers. There were 3 employees helping out 3 families, but there was one who was at the register. I approached here with the items I wanted to pay for, and she said "everyone here is busy as you can see and you will have to wait". I couldn't believe my ears because mine was a very simple transaction which wouldn't take too much time. I repeated myself and told her I just needed to pay for three items, and she said she knew but I would have to wait. I asked her why couldn't she help me since she was not tending to any customers and she said she was busy. I asked her how long would I have to wait to pay for my items and she said 30 minutes. 30 minutes??? Really???? I was upset, I did not bother putting the items back where they belonged, I left it right there in front of her and walked out. I will never come back to this location. So glad I made the drive last week to Porter Ranch ATT store to upgrade my phone. Their customer service out here is 100x better than Santa Clarita's. I guess I'll have to make the drive out to Porter Ranch to purchase the items I originally wanted to purchase at this pathetic Bouquet Canyon location. read more

Just got here with my boyfriend, see there's a sign outside that says they "are enforcing a 1:1 ratio in the store." There are two employees (maybe more in the back) and NO guests in the store. I mentioned that if we were both to go inside and I would walk out if other guests arrived that needed assistance, it would still be a 1:1 ratio, but of course, I was denied. So they're making me wait outside while my boyfriend is inside. The employee, Michael, blamed it on "policy". Does he understand what a 1:1 ratio is? Here's where it gets better... an entire family just waltzed right in. I watched as no one, not even policy abiding Michael, asked any of them to leave. So after a little while, I decided to walk in too. Michael just carried on helping out my boyfriend. Only after I said that clearly policy is not being enforced for others did he go over to the other associate and say something or other about said policy. So anyway, boyfriend will be going in n out with different things for us to review. Although I really don't want to give them any business. Incredibly inconvenient. Complete lack of empathy. Didn't seem to want to try to create a solution (the running back and forth was my idea) And not once apologetic, as generally nice humans are. read more

I am only giving three stars because the first salesperson I dealt with sold me a bunch but I needed to come back the next. So I come back the next day and he wasn't there yet. I was early. I spoke with Bobbie Locke my new salesperson and most of what the first guy said wasn't true. He was a new guy and I'm glad I had Bobbie help me the second because she new exactly what she was doing and I was more than pleased that she assisted me. I would definitely give her 5-stars and that says a lot because I totally hate at&t. AT&T sucks but I need them. Bobbie Locke made what was turning out to be a bad experience again at AT&T so much better. If you have to go to this store, ask for Bobbie Locke to help you. This review is based on my personal experience with this store. Last year I purchased an iPhone 12 online through Apple (paid in full) and came in to this store to have the phone activated and transfer my service from my old phone to the new one. Michael Orona was my sales associate, and despite me telling him I was only there to get my new phone turned on and nothing else, he proceeded to sell me on how he could help save me money on my bill by switching to a business account. I agreed to this as I do use my phone a lot for work so it made sense. He then continued to sell me on an Apple Watch that they were "having a promotion on", this is something that I did not need and had no intention of purchasing as it's not something I think I would use. He was very careful with his wording and made it out to seem as though the watch would be free if I just signed up for service on the watch. I asked multiple times to confirm that I didn't have to pay for the watch because that didn't sound right to me. He assured me I would only be paying $11 extra on my monthly bill for the watch service and if I changed my mind I had 14 days to return it. Obviously if it sounds too good to be true it probably is, but at this point I had been at the store for about 3 hours and just wanted to leave so I naively agreed since I figured I didn't have much to lose if I changed my mind. Fast forward to the following month when I receive my next bill and the payment is $30 more than we had discussed at the store in person. I tried to call the store to get it straightened out but no one would return my calls. I had to call AT&T directly and explain the situation, then they reached out to the store to have someone call me. When I finally spoke with an associate at the store they asked me to text a photo of my bill to a number and then they would get back to me. I texted the number and never heard from anyone at this store again (see photo). I had to call AT&T again to ask why my bill was so high and and after 50 mins of hold time I was able to speak to a rep who told me I was paying monthly installments on the watch. Since I don't use the watch I asked if I could just cancel the service and I was told that if I did that I would have to pay the remaining balance of the watch (a little over $200) up front. I am so irritated with how Michael handled my sale, I understand that employees are incentivized to upsell customers but lying to do so is reprehensible. These employees are untrustworthy and the customer service is terrible. It's been a hassle just to talk to someone on the phone, wait times are so long and it's not worth it to me to have to waste so much of my time over someone's greediness so I am now looking to change service providers. I made a huge mistake signing up with At&t. I am going to buy out and go to Verizon as soon as I can. At&t Does not truly care about their customers, not even their long time customers. Because if they did, they would follow through on their promises and when they make a mistake, they would correct it. The break down of their bills and charges NEVER make sense. What you're being charged is never what is promised and never what they say it is when they "break it down" for you in the store. I went into At&t back in AUGUST of 2020 to start my service back up. I was returning to them after being away for about a year (my sister was with T-Mobile and I wanted to show my loyalty to her). When I signed back up, a teacher appreciation discount and an auto pay discount were applied. I was told that it would kick in after like the 2nd or 3rd bill cycle. So around October or November?? Well what do you know, it was never applied as promised after the supposed start up period or whatever you want to call it. By like January/February, I was still having issues with my bill being correct. Like a $35-$40 discrepancy/difference every month. That is the difference between like a $50 bill and an $80-$90 bill. So I eventually went in! Because no one was fixing the issue and it wasn't reflected. At this point in time, I wasn't about to pay a bill that was INCORRECT. Why would I pay a bill that I am being overcharged on??? So they then shut off my service !!! After I had just spoken to them!! I needed time to go in after work!! So then a $35 restoral fee and and $7 late fee were charged on top of an ATT ERROR. That was like 3-4 months that I was being over charged!! They never gave me the credits!! What is the motivation for a customer to pay their bill when they are owed between $90-$120!! OUTRAGEOUS!! I went into an At&t store for the second time, except this time I wasn't happy. I was super understanding at first and then when they kept giving me the run around, I was furious! To make it worse, I showed up to the At&t store, and because I didn't sign up at this "specific location", they acted like they could give two shits about my situation. They wouldn't help me and told me to "go to the store where I signed up." So at this point, now I'm wasting my gas!! And not to mention, I wanted to buy a new phone from them and had to wait a while until they fixed my bill and could earn my trust again. As a result, my bill was messed up for months. Then they finally got it right. NOW THAT CREDIT WAS NOT A COURTESY! It was an error that they created that they needed to fix. They supposedly fixed the error! Well they didn't, there was still some fee left on there somewhere from the original incident. I was trying to figure it out because every time I got my bill, my bill was not the correct amount. So as you can imagine, of course I'm upset because we got off on the wrong start! Fast forward, there was fraud on my bank account back in February when my At&t bill was due. And my At&t bill dispute was still not settled. Due to the fraud on my bank account (chase), they closed my debit card. Well my debit card is linked to my At&t auto pay. So because my bill went unpaid due to the fraud, guess what happened ??? At&t shut my phone off!!! ONE day prior to being shut off, I had spoken to the customer service representative about why my bill had gone unpaid and he said the fees would be reversed and that I had a couple days to pay my bill to avoid service interruption. Well he lied !! The service interruption took place the very next day. So even though I communicated that I was waiting for my new debit card, they still shut it off!! So then, what happened next ? A $35 fee for restoral was added!!!! And I was forced to pay a $180 bill to turn it back on, all while not having my debit card. They pretended that they cared but they didn't give a crap. These are unprecedented times with covid and all. At&t should care more about their customers than this!! Sometimes fraud can happen and they need to be more understanding!! Not only did AT&T customer care tell me to go to the store but the people at the store were not helpful and made me wait just to tell me that they could not help me. It never makes sense to me that AT&T customer care will tell me I can go into this wireless store to perform certain tasks yet the employee in the wireless store seems to tell me otherwise. They told me that this happens all the time and they seem to be a different company than AT&T customer care. I am lost with this customer service quality. The worst deal I ever made. They told me that if I canceled my contract with T-mobile and switch to AT&T they would credit the cancellation feed to my new account. Tasha Sterling asked the Manager Andre L. To approve it and he did. It's been 5 months and 3 visits at the store and the Manger denials the deal even though I have it on writing. They also got me a deal of $237 a month for 5 lines and unlimited I've been paying no less than $400 a month. Do not believe what they offer you, even if they make on writing.
