I stopped in to have my Samsung looked at as I have been having issues with my visual voicemail app crashing. I tried to uninstall the app and reinstall it but that's not an option. I tried clearing the cache several times and that didn't work, so here I am... Luckily it was not busy at the time I went so I was greeted promptly by a rep. I told her the issue and she did the same thing I did (clearing the cache, to no success). She then told me to either reset the phone or call Samsung. I was like, ok...this is not a corporate owned store and I heard they were not very good at phone issues, so this just experience just confirmed it. read more

Came in today to reset my SIM card bc it was not making contact with network. Karla greeted me and attempted to assist me even thought she had to leave to LA for a meeting. She recommended I call ATnT tech. I called while in store from their land line. On call for an hour and they could not help. They said there's an error and we'll send you a SIM card in 10 days, which meant I would not have a phone for 10 days. MEGAN arrived to start her shift. OMG she fixed the issue!!!! . Do not go to this store. I walked in on January 11th looking to upgrade one watch line and add another watch line. It took three people to look up my account and figure out what they were doing. They totally messed up my cell phone plan and then sold me an internet package that I told them would not work in my area as ATT does not have service. 1. They convinced me that service was in my area and when I talked with the installation tech, I found out I was right and do not have service. So that was a waste of time of my half day waiting for a tech. 2. I told them not to cancel my wife's wearable line, and to only upgrade my watch and add a third wearable line. They ended up cancelling my wife's watch and I found out she didn't have service on her watch when I got home. I had to call ATT tech support to get her watch working with her phone again. 3. I found out through a text from ATT that my wearable promo, that I specifically went into the store for, was going to be cancelled bc my wearable lines were cancelled. ATT support had to go through my package plan, line by line, and identify where the employees of this store messed up my package plan, the promo, and fix everything they did wrong otherwise I would've ended up with w $400 bill. Support was super nice and spend over an hour on the phone fixing everything this store messed up for me. 4. While on the phone with customer service and fixing my plan, I found out the $100 I paid in store didn't need to be paid, but my taxes on the watches should've been less. Customer support had to fix all my wearable lines so I didn't lose the promo, credit me quite a bit of money due to the charges the store applied due to screwing up my plan and the promo, and took a formal complaint since I had to deal with this mess over the last two weeks since I got my watches. For something as simple as upgrading a watch and adding a line ended up being a bigger drama that I did not expect, and more should I have experienced. I had offered to help figure out my wife's watch number and instead of accepting my help, cancelled her number. They do not know what they are doing and you'll pay the price for their incompetence on your next bill. I'm grateful customer support fixed everything, got me my promo, and credited me the funds of where I was over charged. If you do go to the store, ask for a detailed receipt and a breakdown of charges, and your plan, before you pay anything and before you walk out of the store. read more

Today my mom had a bad experience at this location. She went in to pay off the balance of her phone. Initially, she visited this location a day earlier and was told she needed her Driver license to pay the balance. So today she returned and the customer service was just as bad as it was the day before!! Especially the guy, whose attitude was snippy and sarcastic. When my mom told him that their customer service was bad he responded "well, you're you came back and you're still here!!" After waiting over an hour to pay off the phone they said they don't take cash, then it was we only have one stand that takes cash. Judging from the attitude you would think he was trying to deter her from paying it off. Anyway, her experience was an awful one with these guys at att in Signal Hill, she asked me to write the review for her, she's not that into technology to do it herself. I have been an ATT cystomer for few months. When I signed up with my husband at another store in Long Beach i was quoted a monthly bill of around $200.00, after two billing cycles out bill was $350.00. It turns out the other store had misrepresented or miscalculated discounts, trade-ins etc. I went in to this store and worked with Amner and Jenny. It took them 20 minutes to requote our monthly plan. They had us join AARP and found some other ways of getting essentially the same service for our target of under $200. I posted a review on this AT&T store about 6 months ago on Google. I happened to look up the number for the store to call today and noticed I did not review on Yelp. As such, I decided to post my review here as well. Best AT&T store around because the customer service is wonderful! I have visited this store multiple times and I have worked with numerous sales associates and they are all amazing. Karla, the manager, is kind and supportive. She made sure I got the phone I wanted. I am very indecisive and appreciated her patience. Amner was the associate that helped me with most of my transactions. He is awesome. He never rushed me or acted frustrated when I changed my mind. Also, Claudia helped me select a screen and camera lens protector. She was so nice as she carefully installed both items on my phone. Finally, Vivian and David were two associates I observed during my numerous trips to this store. They both were super professional and welcoming as they assisted other customers. Given that I spent a significant amount of time at this store, I can attest to the quality of the customer service of many of the sales associates as they assisted me or I watched them assist other customers. This store and its team are truly deserving of the commendations. I highly recommend that you visit this store for all your service needs as you won't be disappointed. Since he was told it would take over a half hour for them to complete the transition, he opted to return the next morning only to be told didn't qualify after all. Unbelievably unprofessional, misleading and dishonest. Lots of discrepancy between what they tell you vs what the policies really are. Once you encounter problems, they will then expose the real policies and say "it's always been that way." They do not care to provide good customer service, as evidenced by their unapologetic and disinterest in guest interactions. This lady rudely spoke to us as she loudly chewed her food and was so disinterested in helping resolve any of our issues. 4:55 Your Rating: 1/5 Wish I could give zero stars after the experience I just went through stopped at the store because my phone had a faulty Sim card I wish I got the salesman's name he gave me this bogus story that since the new iPhone upgrade my Sim card had to be acting up he didn't ask for my name to look at my account I told him I had AT&T coverage on the iphone insurance for my iPhone he took my Sim card in and out it worked for a second and then didn't work I knew my phone needed a new Sim card and new my insurance would cover it he told me to go to an Apple Store because that's where the phone was manufactured and that the warranty would cover it I tried to tell him I am a caretaker for my parents and didn't have time to go all the way to Cerritos where he was sending me so I went to another AT&T store closer to my house on Avalon in City of Carson the very knowledgeable salesman there Looked up my account checked my phone again and quickly said you need a new SIM card he replaced my new my Sim card right then and got my iphone working again and all at no charge and covered by my insurance . I didnt have to waste time and gas money going to an apple store for a simple fix such as a New sim card!! read more

Marlon is rude and unhelpful. He acted like an aloof jerk when we came in for help, and he failed to provide any level of adequate customer service. Another guy, Kevin, at least attempted to work with us, and he tried to fix the problem we encountered with our phone and its failed 3G connection. Marlon, however, chose to scowl at the other end of the counter and to be completely hostile, inhospitable, and demeaning. I don't believe a customer service position is the right job for him. Six and a half hours earlier, my mom and cousin came in to buy a new sim card and package for her phone, which she brought with her from Thailand. He apparently asked my cousin if the phone was unlocked. She said she didn't know. Marlon proceeded to insert a new sim card into the slot to test the device. He declared that it was working fine, receiving calls and messages, and connecting to the network. As a result, my family bought a sim card for $90 (including the activation fee). I think this is a lot for a sim card for one month, but that is an issue with AT&T and not the store or its employees. Marlon set everything up and said it was a success and ready to go. After leaving the store, my cousin's 3G failed to connect. When I picked her up in the evening, she asked me to bring her back to the store. When we arrived, Marlon admitted that the phone would only connect to wifi and not the network, because there was "something wrong with the phone." This is totally unacceptable, since he tested the phone prior to purchase. He was either too lazy or too stupid to see that the phone was using wifi instead of the network. Given that this is his job, I assume it was the former. However, since he tellingly asked if Bangkok was "downtown" (whatever the hell that means), he demonstrated a level of ignorance that keeps me from ruling out the latter option. We shouldn't have to pay for a plan that uses 3G when it is not working on the phone. Even though the plan was only purchased less than seven hours prior, he was completely immovable and condescending. He said there were no refunds and that everything had been explained to my family. Yes, everything was explained, including him saying that the sim card was working -- both the tester and the one bought. Then he proceeded to virtually ignore our presence while his coworker tried to help. I would say skip this location entirely. At the very least, steer clear of Marlon, since he has a horrible attitude, work ethic, and demeanor. He should get a job at the DMV or the post office. At least there, he could be around others of a similar nature. read more

Came in today to upgrade my iPhone 5s to an iPhone 7 Plus. I was initially told that the 7 Plus in Rose Gold with 128 GB was a little more difficult to get because they sell out faster (?) and that they weren't going to have it. It was pretty busy when I came so I didn't expect much more help. When I was about to leave to check another AT&T store for it, Saul thankfully eavesdropped into my conversation with my family and said that he can help us with the transaction and find us a store nearby where I can pick up the exact phone I wanted right away. I went there once. It proved my point I made to the Apple tech support person that, despite her assurances, I was positive that going to an AT&T store would never solve anyone's problem. (Think about it, I said.) I was right. They didn't order enough sim cards to handle the million plus phones ordered when the 4s came out, so I have to wait until they figure out how many they should order. Let me start off by saying I've never wasted my time writing a yelp review, but this lady pissed me off and butchered my week. For the manager reading, she's a new employee who transferred from another store. She doesn't know what she's doing - according to your own call center supervisor. Short story: went in to change my phone plan, ended up spending 2 hours with this snot sniffling employee who messed up everything on my account, and after receiving notices of overuse data I have to go through 9 hours of call center bullsh*t to fix all her mistakes. Just don't come here, you're bound to have the worst of experiences. Went in the other day to switch plans, all of the employees were super helpful except for the one helping me. I don't remember her name, but she told me she had recently switched to the store from another location. First of all, she had allergies, understandable, but blow your nose before you sniffle, snort, and gargle snot every 5 seconds in front of the customer. Nasty. She set up my phone on the WRONG plan, along with starting it in 2 MONTHs from now (wtf?). It took her 2 hours for her to mess up everything regarding my plan and data. 2 HOURS! I can't believe I waited that long to only have to spend countless hours on the phone fixing her mistakes. After HOURS of phone calls with the 8 (yes that's right. 5 days of calls, 8 different people), customer service representatives, I have fixed all of her mistakes, even though she effed up so bad that I have to call back to fix my next 2 bills because of false overage charges (from her signing me up for a phone with no plan). Even the call center had to apologize for the messups she made. I don't know what she did to make my phone plan so difficult to correct, she literally must have been pressing random buttons and such. Do yourself a favor and please do not go to this store, or you run the chance of this lady butchering your forseeable future with having to deal with the the call centers to fix her mistakes. read more

DONT GO HERE. by far the worst service ever. I traded in my phone and got an Apple Watch. A month later it turns out a whole separate line was added to my account (3 lines total) and because a new line was started I'm told I have to wait and PAY for the line for 90 days (for a phone I don't have) and I will not get credit for the phone I traded in. They acknowledged they messed up but did nothing to correct the issue. I am stuck either paying for a phone I don't have or if I cancel the line I get no credit for my trade in. This is by far the worst store I've ever been too. If I could leave 0 stars I would. read more

The representatives show little to no concern about the issues being addressed and were just lounging around watching television staring blankly at one another and browsining their phones. If I could give this review less than one star, I would. This has to be the worse customer service ever. I dealt with Marcus (a younger Latino guy who wears glasses). A few days ago, I called AT&T to get information on their switcher plan. I was told if I switched to ATT from T-Mobile I would get $650 credit. I initially asked for more details and said there was no incentive to switch to ATT if you didn't need a phone paid off. I also explained to Marcus that the confusion was likely because my call was outsourced out of the country. I then told him the account belonged to my husband, but that I was an authorized user. Marcus then said, no he didn't...and I said yes he did. This went back and forth for a few minutes. I then called my husband and Marcus said, well let me check another system And I was correct. No apologies offered by Marcus. I then explained to Marcus that the agent I spoke to said they created a dummy line so I could port my number to ATT and that I needed to go into an ATT store to get a SIM card. Although I couldn't locate the number, I explained to him, that's what they told me. He then asked me, why would they do that, and said, that made no sense - and implied that I was lying or didn't know what I was talking about. Marcus then proceeded to work on my phone and five or minutes or so later, he was like you're done. I then wanted to verify some information that was given to me by the outsourced customer service agent, but Marcus said, I can't make any changes on your account, or you any information, you need to call ATT. I left the store, got home, and couldn't connect to the internet. I called back and asked Marcus about this, and he told me he couldn't help me, but I could come back to the store - well great! I pressed the issue and he finally said you can reset your network settings. I tried to get clarification as to what "resetting my network settings." Instead of explaining it, he simply said, reset your network settings. Frustrated, I then called back and explained to Marcus that my phone said I could not connect to the internet because I had no data. He said I saw data on your account (but actually I called ATT and was told there was no data, and they five minutes later ATT Tech Support (Shante) gave me data. I called back and asked Marcus if he had my for T-mobile SIM card and he said he threw it away. I asked if I could come retrieve it, and he said actually I shredded it. I then asked for his manager's name, and he said the store had a temporary manager, but he was out to lunch. I asked for the district manager's name and was told he couldn't give me that information. I then asked who I could direct my complaint to about my experience with him, and he said, "oh, cause you were so pleasant" and hung up on me. I will NEVER return to that store again...I will tell everyone I know to NEVER go to that store. And somehow insurance got added to my account- one of the things I asked Marcus to verify wasn't added to my account. But, oh, I forgot he couldn't make any changes to my account. If he treated me this way, I can only imagine how he treats others. I can't help but wonder why I was treated this way...was it because I am a woman, an African-American, or because I asked to many clarification questions!
