On Friday, October 17th I walked into Verizon with low expectations. Misha and Carlos...please take a bow! They met my expectations to the fullest! We all know that shopping for a phone goes hand in hand with purchasing a car, it's a task! Guess what? Not with the professionals at this location. First and foremost...they are equally gracious with all customers. Made an appointment with Carlos to guide me with promotional plans and a model 17 iPhone. Within minutes Carlos told me that there might be a plan that meets my needs. Misha (manager) then took over and guided me through the easiest process of purchasing a phone with the perfect plan. Misha soon set me up with a plan that best suited me and activated my new phone...in no time! I purchased a few accessories, but realized that I didn't need them and returned them four days later. I was seen by Shawn who was helpful enough to help me with my return. What a spectacular group of gentlemen. They are now known as Verizon/Victra which are Verizon retailers. I will easily purchase from this location but not from Verizon/Victra in Norwalk...run! And will definitely purchase from Verizon corporate locations. Love my Verizon customer service! read more

This review is specific to the sales rep we worked with and does not reflect the entire staff. This is not an official Verizon store. It is a Verizon "authorized retailer" called Victra, but they present themselves simply as "Verizon," which is misleading and frustrating. We went in mid-December to purchase a new iPhone. Our sales rep, Stedmon, was confusing, inconsistent, and appeared unfamiliar with pricing and basic processes. He regularly contradicted himself and showed no urgency. Despite this, we placed an order because we believed this was a legitimate Verizon store and decided to give it a chance, even though phone stores often have a reputation for being painful experiences. We were told the phone would arrive in about a week and that we would receive a call. The phone was delivered to the store within five days, yet no one contacted us. After three weeks, we had to call ourselves, only to be told the phone had been there the entire time. No apology was offered. When we returned to pick it up, the situation worsened. The phone transfer process took nearly 4 hours, largely because Stedmon did not know what he was doing. After about 3.5 hours, another employee stepped in, immediately identified the issue, and resolved it quickly. It was very clear this individual knew exactly what he was doing. Had we worked with him from the start, this likely would have been a completely different--and positive--experience. We also asked to speak with a manager. Stedmon claimed he was the manager, but another employee soon came out and identified himself as the on-site manager for the day. When confronted, Stedmon denied making the statement. Throughout this entire process, while we were stuck there for hours due to his mistakes, Stedmon continued trying to sell us overpriced accessories, even after we declined multiple times. We acknowledge that we went in knowing phone stores often lead to bad experiences, but we gave this location the benefit of the doubt, hoping that stigma had changed. Unfortunately, it did not. We will not return to this location and will be purchasing phones directly from the Apple Store moving forward. If you do go here, understand this is an "affiliate store", not corporate Verizon, and be mindful of who you get for your salesman, because ultimately that is what is going to matter. read more

The customer service at this store left a lot to be desired. As always, you need to tread carefully when dealing with salespeople--they're quick to upsell and change your plan under the guise of offering something "better," which often turns out to be worse = $$$ and less features! I went in to upgrade my phone because it wasn't charging. I'm on my brother's account, and he specifically requested that nothing on his plan be altered--only my services. Despite this, the staff attempted to switch his internet plan, even though he had just locked into a three-year fixed deal at $26/month. They tried pushing a $60/month plan, claiming his equipment was outdated and wouldn't be serviced anymore--even though he'd just signed up for the original plan three months ago. Their justification made no sense. To make matters they charged for a data transfer that never even completed. After two hours, they just handed me both phones and told me to do it myself at home--but still charged me for the service. The problems didn't stop there. I was supposed to return my old phone for credit, but the store didn't take it. When I called customer service, they confirmed the store had handled the process incorrectly--they should've accepted the phone during the upgrade and not charged me for the data transfer. To top it off, the store marked the phone as returned, which forced support to reopen and reset the account so I could turn it in. The whole experience was disorganized and felt like a scam. Their priority seemed to be squeezing more money out of customers, not helping them. If you have an iPhone, save yourself the headache and go directly to Apple--they don't mess with your plan or push unnecessary upgrades. Verizon stores like this one are exactly why people are fed up with the company. The service is poor, the process is deceptive, and you walk out feeling taken advantage of. This particular location was especially bad. My advice? Drive a few extra blocks and find a different store--or better yet, avoid Verizon stores altogether IF at all possible, especially the second street store. read more

If I could give this location a zero star I would. I came in with my husband for a hotspot line. Not only was Lauren (a dude) as helpful as a glass hammer), he has failed to do any communication on what action he is taking or assisting us with. I upgraded my iPhone 13 to the new 17 pro last week and was upsold on a $70 screen protector and $70 "liquid backing" because the sales associate advised the newer iPhones were made with cheaper material and were breaking more frequently and that accessories purchased through "unauthorized retailers" could void the warranty on the phone itself - He said he even purchased these accessories for himself because of their sturdiness in protecting the phone. Well, this week on Monday, the screen protector broke after the phone simply tipped over several inches. Then, come to find out, there's a $15 S&H fee to replace the screen protector under warranty, which the sales associate never mentioned. The overall process for upgrading my phone was probably the easiest in store phone experience I've ever had so I do want to give the associate credit for that, but I definitely felt duped on the accessories and like he was just trying to hit a commission target - what kind of $70 screen protector breaks in less than a week and requires another $15 immediately just to get a new one?! Absolute rip off for the associates to push such poor quality products I came back in this week to try to get assistance and a different associate (Anthony) was super helpful - when he advised me to come back the next day to get direct management help but management ended up not being in, he proactively got approvals to help me with my refund before I even came back to the store the next day, and also provided a replacement for the screen protector. Feels very rare to have such a positive customer service experience like that so I wanted to make sure I gave Anthony his kudos! read more

He was patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. He took time to walk me through all the features, answered all my questions clearly, and made sure everything was working perfectly before I left. What really stood out was his friendly attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure I understood how to use my new device. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! Go to a corporate owned Verizon store. They will charge you for "mandatory" fees that are NOT mandatory. And they will deceptively put additional phone numbers and internet charges on your bill under a "business" account that you never asked for. I'm now filing a complaint with the FCC the FTC/BBB for the incredibly deceptive business practices & fees they tried to get away with. After 3 attempts and unknowledgeable staff that thought they could double talk me when I asked for an explanation of unexplained charges...I've managed to document and prove exactly what they've done. Stay away from them! Multiple complaints have been filed against VICTRA stores which is what this is. It's not a corporate Verizon store. Do you research. You will regret going to this store if you don't listen to this warning! read more

DO NOT TRUST THEM TO UPGRADE!!! I agreed to upgrade because they said I could get new devices and get charged less. It took two days to upgrade because of several system issues. I just got my bill and it was triple because of charges I was not informed about. Some because of Verizon's error. My first bill was triple my prior bill and I have an additional $50 a month for every bill after. I am going to attempt to switch providers ASAP. DO NOT TRUST THEM TO UPGRADE!!! read more

The guys working here were very nice and gave me a promotion that sounded amazing! Apple Watch and iPad service for $10/month with a free watch and free iPad. What they failed to disclose or tell me was all the fees would bump my bill to $140/month. This month my Apple Watch fee went up even more. I didn't read the tiny fine print and was scammed. They told me there is no difference between their store (authorized retailer) and a Verizon store, but according to Verizon, there is, and their store can add random fees to your bills. If you work with these guys, don't trust their word, read everything in detail, including the entire fine print legal contract. My total costs: $20.42 for my Apple Watch (I was not aware that this price would go up during my contract term) | iPad: $11.70 | Phone service for iPhone 14 Pro: $107.97 This is the cost for trading in my old phone too. I'm trapped in this contract for now but plan on switching carriers after this. The shadiness rubbed me the wrong way. read more

Piss poor customer service period. I traded in an old Eight plus and was told to keep the old phone in case of any issues. Turn it in within 30 days they said. I phoned this store and was on hold forever. I took the option for them to call me back. The call never came !
