Joel (Manager) service was outstanding. He was very helpful and friendly. I wish there were more people like him, out there in the world.

The guy who assisted me yesterday as I was getting a new iPhone encouraged me to try and enter my Apple password several time until it locked my account. He said it was the best way for him to be able to reset the account and password and let me access it immediately with new credentials - unfortunately, my account is now locked for 2 weeks and there's nothing I can do about it. Customer care should be honest. If the guy told me that locking my account would have turned into having to wait two weeks before trying to recover it I would have found another way to recover my password prior to entering it too many times. Also, if he was competent, he would have known how to transfer all my contact and photos even without entering my Apple ID. I would recommend this AT&T branch to offer training to their employees and encourage them to let the customers know when they do not have a sure answer to a technical issue. This employee was friendly but obviously incompetent. Again, this is not his fault. It's the branch responsibility to train their employees. This branch has failed to do so. read more

I travel a lot and have an unlocked iPhone and a SIM card with AT&T. When I landed in LAX and inserted my AT&T SIM card, it did not work (account is paid in advance) Online AT&T guys tried helping but said I needed to go to the store. So went to the store here and they refused to help, to even consider looking at it, saying it was a problem with my iPhone. Went to the Apple Store here and they were so helpful. They got me a new SIM card, and arranged everything over the phone to get my account up and running again. It was a faulty SIM card and this AT&T store refused to even consider that possibility! Came to this store just to clean up my old AT&T phone set it back to factory setting. First, they really don't know what they doing. They don't even know how to use the phone. Instead for hours they try to sell me this new home security systems. I need my phone reseting NOT try to buy anything else. And they very pushy and they keep repeating how they have the deal and even the manager came to me and said that she only have 2 coupons to home system deal. I DON"T CARE!! UUUUGGGGHHHH... This Place Has Terrible Customer Service !!! All I can say is read the reviews. If you want to spend a bunch on plans or phones they will gladly take your money with a smile. But when you have a issue the smile goes away and the we can't help you kicks in. I'm not going into the details of today's rude, nasty, unhelpful, slow and unprofessional attitude of the manager Karey Mean. I was super happy when Jeffery when he told me he was able to get me on Directv with a low monthly payment and a $200 visa card and 2 years free NFL ticket and get my corporate discount added to my phone plan which we had not been getting for a year!! However i am super disappointed because i have been texting him since January calling Directv and At&T and getting transferred from department to department telling me that the visa rebate is coming in the mail then telling me it is being credited to my account and then getting a call last week saying they finally confirmed with the store that i was eligible for the $200 discount card. Then to call back today and find out that oh sorry its been 120 days so we can no longer offer it! This company is a joke all the passing around to finally be right past the 120 days and be told that! And still don't have our corporate discount added to our plan!! Customer service has been awful!! My husband works for Costco and we will be sure to make sure everyone is aware of the awful customer service we have received from AT&T and Directv and make sure to direct them to other companies for services. read more

This place is horrible. And looks like they've remained horrible for years. Wasting 45+ minutes is a norm here. Inconsistency with employees about what they can and can't do depending on the day and the employee so the information we receive is so useless. Seems like there's a couple people working but then majority of the time they just disappear and the customers just stare at each other like...where did everyone go. the only times i've ever gone into this location is when it's time to make some changes to our family plan account. my parents live in temecula, i live in san marcos, and my bro lives in chula vista, so it's kind of an errand that we have to plan for a bit in advance when we need to stop by and make changes or upgrade phones, etc. with that being said, Anthony is the man! my bro, my dad, and myself came into the store and i'm glad someone as competent, helpful, and personable as Anthony helped us out. makes me glad i came back to AT&T (i foolishly left for Sprint years ago when the HTC Evo came out). he helped us find the most cost-effective solution regarding our 5 lines and helped both my dad and bro upgrade to the Galaxy S4 (yeah yeah yeah the S5 is coming out in April but it's not worth it imo given the price difference vs. specs upgrades. plus i love my S4). i was especially pleased that our monthly bill actually went down considering we were in an old grandfathered plan. chalk one up for AT&T trying to stay up to par with the different networks' promotions and offerings. NO NEW 2 YEAR UPGRADE CONTRACTS! oh and apparently everyone who's been purchasing Android phones has been hooked up w/ the new Isis app promo for free Jamba Juice for 3 months and a $50 AmEx credit! #winning. 2 new phones and 1.5 hours later, we walked right next door to Jamba Juice and got our free smoothies for the day. -civilities. read more

I went to this store to finish processing my switch/ rebate request at the request of the at&t call center. We were having trouble getting the box to return my phone. They said to go to the store, tell them the story and process the switch/refund with them. I walked in and told a young lady my story. She then rudely cut me off because she was didn't understand what I was needing. She started talking to me like I was a child, which I hate so that was when I knew it was going to go down hill from there. After I told her the story and what I was told by one of their reps, she still proceeded to look at me like I was stupid. She spoke to a manager who, I guess, said to call the # I did so she did. She called them on speaker phone AND talked so loud the guy at the payment kiosk was even looking at her like she's crazy. I was very embarrassing that the whole store could hear my issue and felt it was an invasion of privacy. She then have me a hard time cause the back of my phone had a crack. The BACK... the part that's made of glass that 80% of people with this phone have and affects the phone in No Way. I told her after the many stores I've been to or reps I've spoken to no one has ever said the phone has to be 100% perfect to process. She asked where I went to originally switched. I told her Costco. She told me next time I wanted to do or process something to go to a "real" store and not there cause they don't know everything there and aren't trained properly. Really?? I said that's unfair because you all have stores there for a reason and she can't justify anything with that excuse. She asked the guy on the phone about the crack and he said they can still give me what it's worth, but not the full rebate. I was fine with that by this point as I just wanted to leave! She kept giving me a hard time about the crack and left me for about 10 minutes. She came back and said no, she and her manager and "4 other # 's she's called " said no, even though I heard the phone rep say yes. I left so stressed and angered. Three days later my husband went to a different AT&T store, told them the issue, bam! Refund request processed and phone accepted. This store needs re- training in every way possible. Never again.. went in to upgrade phone, got sold a pad.. with out being told there was a monthly activation fee and monthly service fee.. tried to return it after the bill came.. another hour of waiting and they refused.. I have 8 different ATT phone numbers, i will be systematically cancelling them all.. NEVER AGAIN... My husband and I went into this AT&T store because someone told us that we could save money if we bundled our cable and phone. Nothing of which we thought we left there buying was what came through. Ended up having to be on the phone for two hours myself and my husband for like another two hours to fix our bill. I'm not upset about the mistake because I understand that happens sometimes but I was upset about how quick the sales guy was to offer us a "promo" that want feasible. Needless to say I will not be back to this particular AT&T store. I will continue be an AT&T customer because I use them for my phone Service and until now I'd never had issues with my bill. Promotion is great, but the sales representative do not disclose important information like pulling credit for signing up direct tv. Very rude manager who said my credit card will not get charge until I receive the service, well I canceled the direct tv the next day and my credit card got charged too! As far as refund they point fingers call direct tv then direct tv say call att we don't see you account. To make story short I expect more knowledgeable manager in regards to this problem as well as having a lot of patience and and knows how to listen to customers concern. The company is great but the store branch manager Charles is very very very rude, he needs to remind himself he needs customers for him to get paid each month. Customers generates income for the company. I will pay my cellphone ASAP and will be getting a different service. read more

All if can say is unprofessional and horrible customer service. I took my 12 yr old son in to get his phone replaced that we purchased 4 months ago only to be told by the 2 week on the job store manager "jimmy" that he couldn't help us. His concept of "help" and customer service was to refer us to a warranty company or drive to Irvine (70 + miles away) to ATT's support center to replace his phone. The warranty co information was never provided. I let him know I've been a customer for 10+ years, my contract was up and was planning on buying a Note 3 and Galaxy Tab 3 but the guy didn't care. I have business phones with Verizon and have received immediate replacement phones when they were defective but to be told "pound sand" and they didn't care was ridiculous. I've sent a formal complaint email to ATT corporate. Save your sanity and look for other business alternatives that put customers first vs. going to this store! read more

If Only I could give a -1 ... BUYERS BEWARE... I went into get a new iPhone and was up sold an iPad mini. I told the girl that I would be interested in it for when I fly because I could watch movies on it. That would be the only reason I would really use it for. She said yes it would be perfect for that and so much more. Well when I went to go load movies on it a few weeks later it would only hold 2!!!are you kidding me???the sales lady told me it had lots of storage for me to do what I wanted (which I told her was only for movies for when I fly) what a crock full of... (poo). I went to go talk to them in the store and they said"oh soooo sorry but there is nothing we can do about that" "however we have this little device we can sale you for an additional $69 that will give you more memory" I missed my "buyers remorse contact by 3 days" of course they failed to mention that little bit in the contact. Having gone to this store many many times in the past, I'm sorry to say I found another store to go to in town. Unfortunately my last experience just was it for me. I was greeted when I walked into the door, but honestly I can't remember his name, the guy who helped me was anything but helpful. And seemed like he just wanted to hurry to the next person. Then going back in there later the same day to return my phone only to be told that they don't do that. But yet I went to another store and they did it no problem. I typically don't like going to cell phone stores. However I had a great experience with Joel and Mike today with an iPhone upgrade. He transferred all my old stuff to my new phone. He realized I was moving and asked me about security for the home. I was able to bundle my AT&T phone bill, Direct TV, and security system all on one bill. Very pleased with this recently renovated store. 5 stars across the board. See Joel at Ynez AT&T, he's a pro! read more

I can't believe some of these reviews, you sure you're talking about the right AT&T store?! I've been coming to this location for years, literally since 2007. We've been treated right every single time we've come in, whether it was a quick fix or we had options to mull over, we have never been done wrong by this location, all sales reps and managers included. We had to go in today to replace one of our iPhones and we were in and out, new phone in hand, full understanding of our phone contracts and happy! Seriously, if there's something you don't understand, just ask them to explain it to you prior to signing your contract, they'll be more than happy to spend the time with you going over all the details. We will be back when the time comes for another new phone. read more

Not reviewing AT&T here, just my experience in this store. Went in to get new AT&T service, and to port my T-Mobile phone number to the new AT&T account. Was greeted and helped by Braian. The entire process was painless, Braian was polite and helpful, and I walked out with a fully functional service plan on my old phone. Great service. read more

Charles the manager is absolutely useless. ATT fire him. I waited over a hour to get helped. I finally got my turn. I needed a land line router because the one my 91 year old mother had from ATT was getting no reception. They sold me a new $217.00 router. When I got to her apt it wouldn't work. So back to ATT I go. Apparently the guy that helped me didn't complete the start up process so it wouldn't have worked no matter what I tried. Then I drive back to ATT only for him to say he tried to text me after I left the store to let me know it wouldn't work because he didn't complete the start up I never recieved that text. He had another employee finish the start up. off I go to try again. It still wont work. Go back to ATT again Charles the manager of Temecula store tells me I have to wait in line again to return it. 5 people ahead of my name. Which I learned meant over a hour before my turn again. The employees have no trouble taking your money but when it's time to return it they dont give a shit that you've been there 3 times already. Charles said sorry cant help you wait in line. read more

Been a Verizon Wireless customer for 15 years with 7 lines. Decided to leave for many reasons. Went to this AT&T store and was extremely fortunate to get Luis Mancillas. He is fantastic. One of the best representatives I have ever bought anything from. You can not go wrong with him. He is honest, helpful and provides top notch customer service.
