I've had the same ATT plan on my Iphone since they were created, very stale and needing updating as was being nagged each month for using 200 text messages. I finally researched and found I should have the prepaid $60 Ultimate plan with basically everything no limits and I'm saving $30/month now. Why I waited so long is crazy to me, my bad. I came to the ATT store as switching from post-pay to pre-paid and dropping a corporate discount was too complex for changing by phone, so I came to this corporate store to deal with the experts. Let me say that it was a fantastic experience as the associate Jason Kim took excellent care of me, professional service, stepped though all steps even helping me setup the monthly auto-pay. Was able to test my new feature of having a hotspot active too. My advice typically would be call in, but now my advice is drop by this ATT store and let them handle all the heavy lifting. Kudos to Jason for having the patience with me where won't have to touch this plan for another decade hopefully. read more

It was hella easy to set up hotspot on my Netgear device. I was born in the 1900's and it is VERY easy for me to get confused with technology. I was able to purchase an unlocked Netgear device online, make an appointment at this store easily online and when the doors opened the next day, Jason and Brian were so friendly, patient and informative. They took the time to explain things to me and even get me to consider changing my Metro service to AT&T (I have to coordinate with my wife before I pull the trigger on that, but I'm into it). It's a way better deal! Anyways, 5 stars all the way. I'm leaving the store with more than I bargained for. Get these guys a raise! Or at least buy them lunch! Ousman has been an incredible help! This is the second time he has assisted me with resolving issues on my account and ensuring everything was taken care of properly. He is patient, understanding, and very knowledgeable in customer assistance -- he truly deserves recognition (or even a raise!). Today, he helped us temporarily suspend my husband's account due to military orders. We initially went to the Lakewood location, but they turned him away and told him to call customer service. Unfortunately, the phone support was also chaotic and unclear about what needed to be done. Horrible customer service. The wait time shouldn't exceed more than an hour, yet people are waiting 3+ hours just to get a phone. They clearly need more staff to handle the flow of customers. Just left the Tukwila store and ANTHONY AVERY is the Go To Guy. Background: Without any warning, my iPhone died this morning. Couldn't power up for nothing...I even prayed to the Lord above for some miracle. We'll long story short, after 2 attempts at Geek Squad at 2 different Best Buys and hours later...I accepted my fate and headed to the nearest AT&T to initiate my plan's 'free' upgrade. As I was recounting all the events that led me to Tukwila AT&T, Anthony says "& you just want it to work like this, right?"He turns my phone around and I see my screen saver of my beautiful family and all the missed items of the day!!! Cartwheels and high jumps (all in my head). Then Anthony graciously answers ALL my questions without the sales pushiness because he knew I wasn't going to upgrade/trade in my precious...he's still kicking!!! So I shake his hand & bid him blessings and went on my merry way! But should I ever need to fix any issues with my phone and/or plan, ANTHONY's my AT&T person. I called around because I needed help with my phone service. I went to 1 other location in person and was not satisfied. Felt a bit classist and pushed to upgrade my phone (I know that's their job). But I called this location and this girl answered. I asked a couple clarifying questions on the phone and decided to go in store since it would be better to verify account info and purchases. I did end up upgrading, but not my entire account as another salesperson told me. I was able to get the help with my phone and services without feeling hassled or played with because I didn't know technology or the latest information with phone security, etc. Super satisfied and honestly if you're a woman, I recommend always looking around for another woman as well. This was a less than desireable experience for me. I spoke with another AT&T store and talked about running out and picking up a new phone. They said they didn't have much inventory in the store, so get out there quick. I asked if I ran out there, could I walk away all set to go with a new phone all ready to roll and the answer was yes. At the last minute, I decided to come here, which is closer. I popped in, signed up for the plan. They said, no inventory in the store but they could deliver the next day in a two hour window. Am i available? Sure. What i didn't realize was, they send someone to your house to set up the phone? Nobody ever explained that at all. How can that be? I have been an iPhone user since it originally came out in 2007, and every 2 years, I would upgrade to the newer version; so pretty much that's all I know up to the time I wanted to make a switch, I was hesitant and wasn't sure about the switch. I came into South center att and Mr Kevin was the rep that helped me out that day. He was very knowledgeable and professional took his time to explain the little details that help me ease into a choice to switching over. He also help me months later when I came back into the store to help kink out my other thing I didn't understand. I have switched from T-mobile my monthly unlimited 5G was 55$ after tax. I trade in my 11 pro max and got 15 pro max. They said 65$ for your plan 33$ for the phone after trading yours it will be 10$ months for phone I also turn on auto pay to get 10 off as they promised. I paid 122 for taxes in very first day, I got my first bill next week for 160$ when I went to this store they talking about things that they never mentioned in very first day before switching. Now they are saying your monthly bill after trading in and after auto pay discount will be 97$ per month. Have to pay triple the price in 3 years. Fk you all read more

Very disappointing experience! I've been signed with ATT for 7 years now, and I decided to go in, like I've done from time to time, looking for any promotional options where I might save some money. Upon entry, everyone was busy, which is great for business, so I waited patiently... considering there's no organized waiting area, I waited near the main register. As I stood there, I watched as a couple completed there transaction and left the store. Although noticing me standing at the register, I was completely ignored and in fact the next 2 customers that arrived were acknowledged and helped while I continued to stand at the register looking desperate for help..... It got to a point where there were multiple available employees, including a Manager who were standing in the front of the store... So I politely approached and asked if there were any "available employees" that could assist me, considering that I had been waiting for almost 10 minutes with zero recognition. I'll leave the employees names anonymous that pretended to help me, and after sitting with them for a few minutes and looking at what options were available, there was nothing that they could offer me to save money, they didn't even have any recommendation that I might leave with something to think about. They wait until AFTER the one month limit to contact us and tell us that we need to unlock the old phone, forcing and SCAMMING us into paying the full sales price for the upgraded phone. We walked into this location as customers for almost 10 years, looking for a simple upgrade. We were not greeted by anyone as we entered. After a couple of minutes, I walked up to a worker and asked if we could check in, he dismissed me and asked his coworker to do it. She told us that she would be right with us. Lies! After another couple of minutes we saw a group of workers standing around. They looked at us, but still did not offer assistance. As new customers came in, we were overlooked and ignore. I blame the staff that seemed untrained and unhappy to be there, and a manager not offering proper training and support to both loyal customers and staff. I will NEVER go there again! The screen on my wife's phone cracked, so we contacted Asurion, who directed us here. Chris was the tech that fixed it. While AT&T said it would take 2 hours, Chris said 30 min, so my wife and I went and had appetizers at a nearby Outback Steakhouse. We returned in 40 minutes and it was fixed. David helped us pick out a new case and screen protector and Francisco was just hilarious! We will definitely return! read more

After reading some of these reviews I just had to jump in. The employees are pretty nice, but they DO STAND around and shoot the breeze, while customers wait to be seen. You walk in, they immediately take your name and phone number down and write it on a "waiting list". Just like in a restaurant. Then you sit and wait while you get to hear them joke around and tease one another. Pretty weird. I don't know if they are working on other phones and have to wait for those broken phones to reboot or what. It's hard to figure out why they don't seem to take this seriously,and there are usually NO apologies to the customers who have to sit and wait in this small store. Update: I had to return to this "store" to solve an issue (again) with my cell phone. This time I really watched the employees. Got there within 10 minutes of the store opening its doors. Three employees at the counter and three customers in wait (which included me). AGAIN, the employees joked around. However, this time I noticed their supervisor, Gregory, was the biggest offender of all! He would belittle the other worker saying things like, "I thought you told me you knew how to do this." The other worker was soooo embarrassed. Then this supervisor went on to talk about his personal life and his preferences about music. All the while, the other customers were looking at each other and at me and we all had that look on our face like, "WTF?" Our time is VALUABLE. There were a total of three other customers in the store and yet we had to wait for service while a bunch of staff stood around chatting about their weekends. Fix your queueing system and hire some better managers. Having 15 staff standing around who are not incentivized to provide support to existing customers is the problem. I suppose this is on par with ATT service in general. Avoid this place unless you absolutely must come here. Note to the staff working here: You work in retail customer service, and don't have any reason to take a condescending tone with any of your customers. The staff took advantage of my family who does not know the cell phone service well. They went to to pick up an extra SIM card since they brought they phone from T-mobile to AT&T, the staff ended up opening an additional 15GB share plan contract (we already have a 20GB share plan) without purchasing any phone and without the account holder's permission, and added service such as phone warranty, tech service, to this newly created BS plan even thought there is no 4G phone on this line! Overall: Helpful and friendly staff I was kinda peeved that I was having issues with my new Samsung Focus Windows phone. I only had it for 6 weeks!!!! It was making a constant beeping noise, and wasn't holding its charge. On walking into the store, I was helped immediately. The technician knew exactly what I was talking about. Apparently, it's happened to a few of these phones. Anyhow, she just reset the whole system whilst we waited. It was barely five minutes before she called me over again. Everything was again fine and dandy. There were three technicians all working hard, and ample seating. All in all, a useful place if your phone goes t*ts up (within its 12 month warranty) - just make sure you do a backup first. read more

I recently got my phone line split from a shared plan with an ex. I upgraded a new phone that wasn't available so I had it mailed. I continued to use my old cell phone to find out I had no service when I drove away. The associate helped after three attempts on replacing my SIM card. The only solution their store manager Maria had was to open an Elite line temporarily until I got my phone in the mail. This did not make sense. I end up being financially responsible for activation fees. I revisited the store numerous times and had another manager named Andrea help me cancel a line and waive all the fees. I then received my final bill in the mail and revisited her again asking why did I spend hours in her store after she told me this was taken care of. I also returned my old phone so that I was able to get the $300 credit towards my bill. I did not see any credit issued nor my activation fees removed. I visited Andrea again and she took down my number and said she would call me in a few days. I then followed up at the store and she informed me that she looked over the bill and that I am responsible for all charges. I then replied " even if your own store manager authorized this as a solution and told me that I would have fees waived?" She replies that the bill looks correct and there's nothing they could do. I requested for the district managers number and she said she doesn't have their contact number. She then went inside the store and had another associate bring out her store manager's card which was Maria's. After being so dissatisfied I decided to email Maria. She was away on a trip so another store manager name Misty immediately emailed me back saying she tried calling me. I called both numbers provided and instantly received a text message from her stating that she was with a customer. A few hours later I followed up and texted back the same number Misty messaged me asking if I should just visit the store in person. I had no response. The next following day I contacted Misty through email stating that she never got back to me and requested for the district manager. I have been trying to go through the chain of commands and have been denied about three times from AT&T managers. And still no email response after requesting to speak with someone that can properly handle my situation. I am left with a $340 phone bill that will be suspended if I don't pay it in full. I have been a customer for about 10 years and I have never been so dissatisfied with their customer service. I was told by the store associates that this is a common issue with their network when splitting lines. There needs to be a proper procedure to fix this type of issue instead of forcing customers to open another "elite" line that was never asked for but responsible for all the activation fees and taxes. This is very frustrating I can't even return my new phone back without paying it in full to cancel my plan. read more

My wife went to a "pop-up" AT&T store at Target to get a new phone for her youngest son. Little did we know how much the salesperson could mess up our account. We found out that she had signed him up for a starter plan on top of what we were already getting. After visiting another store, which was just an authorized AT&T outlet for phones, staffed with workers who either don't know how or are not authorized to make changes in accounts, we finally decided to visit an actual factory store, which turned out to be the best decision. We were greeted promptly on entering the store by Alan. After explaining in detail what had happened, he reviewed our bills and decided that our issue could be better resolved by a manager. Given the late hour, she was not available, so Alan arranged an appointment for the next day. The next morning, I arrived ready to meet with Misty. She listened to my problem and after reviewing my bills, offered a plan that would give us better service for less money. Misty explained in detail all the advantages of our new plan. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the experience as a whole. read more

Let me start by saying I do NOT like to be rude, I have worked in customer service for over 6 years and want nothing more then to help a sista out! I don't WANT to give this store a bad review but there was nothing good about it. 1st- the staff was awful. I have never met so many rude employee's in one store. We were not greeted kindly, we were not acknowledged by the staff and waited OVER an hour and a half to have our name move on the list ONE spot. Needless to say we left, and when I told them I was leaving and to take my name off the list I got the worst 'I'm sorry about that.' 2nd- they had more than enough people working!!! So many of their employee's standing around but apparently none of them are there to help out.. I feel like I could have gone in just to buy my iphone a pretty new case and have waited an hour for some acknowledgment. Yes, the store is big. We did get there during a time when there were no other people so there was no wait time. But, I very much appreciated the candor and quick resolution to the device issues. I highly recommend this place it was well worth the drive from Redmond. I am glad they staff this store with such great people. This would definitely be a tough job to have when you are meeting people who are hoping for miracles to happen with their devices and sometimes help can't be given. I did have to end up paying to replace one of my devices that had a shattered screen from being dropped. Keep up the good work guys! First of all, once I was helped the customer service rep was very good. I have no complaints about that. My problem is that I showed up on a Thursday at 11AM and there is only *one* person working here. It was over an hour by the time I left and there were only 2 people in front of me! At one point another employee came out of the back but was not there to help out customers. Even once everyone in front of me was gone the sole employee on the floor was responsible for answering phone questions and checking in new customers. There were at least 4 workstations for other employees, I don't know why they were so poorly staffed today but it is one more reason I would switch back to Verizon if they could ever match my discount. read more

I had to have my phone replaced after I broke it. Okay. So I have an iPhone 5c arrive at my door and I'm all ready to set it up, when I find out the SIM card that comes with a 5c is significantly smaller than those in a 4s, so I have to go to the AT&T store to get a new one......this is where the shit begins. I go into the store and am asked to wait for about 15 minutes while I screw around with the phones and tablets; it's not that bad. I'm now being helped out by a guy named Kevin. He takes my SIM card out, is about to replace it and asks for my ID, which I left at home. Instead of presenting other options to me (like calling customer care....) he walks away and says "have a nice day ma'am" in the most sarcastic tone ever. I'm not gonna drive home to get my ID and then drive all the way back to south center hell world so you can put a SIM card in my phone. No no no just no. As I'm about to leave, I find out that he WALKED OFF WITH MY SIM CARD. And then denied doing so! Another lovely, accommodating employee named Shannon helped me out and got my service all set up without having to make me drive home over 2 different freeways and back when I have to be in for a night shift in a short while. I've been jerked around by AT&T and cannot believe an employee would walk off with my SIM card and then deny doing it! I would give this location one star if it wasn't for Shannon being helpful and actually doing her job instead of turning on her heels and telling me very politely to fuck off. read more
