This truly is the worst store you can go to for help, the employees are incompetent, and they all will tell you different prices for service fees. Worst cell phone experience I have ever had! STAY AWAY! I I had the worst experience of all time with AT&T and ordering the Nokia Lumia 920 (Cyan) + wireless charger the first day it came out. Service: *In my area AT&T showed LTE available on street and only 3G / regular phone phone service available in doors. I literally could not get any bars in my house. *No wifi calling *In store rep told me phone would be to my door in 2-3 days. Email came 2 days later saying "your phone will ship in 3-5 business days." Phone departed their warehouse in 6 business days and they used standard USPS with delivery confirmation. Usually USPS will leave a key in my mailbox for packages that open a side mailbox thats bigger, but they left a note on the door that said i had to pick it up at the post office. I go to the post office at 2:45pm the day before thanksgiving, and they said the truck had not returned from his route yet, but also that they were closing right then. *Wireless charger that I paid $50 for did not ship until over 2 full weeks after i had paid them. I had to call customer service and ask why. They said that the company does not place high priority on items that were free. I explained to them that i have a receipt in my hand from their company saying that not only are they charging $50 for the charger, but also that my card had been successfully charged this $50. After the supervisor took over then called the AT&T store that i bought the phone/charger from and concluded that the charger is in fact on back order, even though the reciept i had specifically indicated in the back order column that the charger was not on backorder. So after saying it was on backorder and it may be a while before it ships out....the next day i got an email confirming shipping on the charger. *I returned the phone and charger together, the combo was $99.99 together + tax. Separately the bill i had showed that the phone was $50.99 and the charger was $49.99 (doesnt add up to $99.99, i know!) and they charged me 2 different $35 restocking fees. I understand $35 restocking fee on the phone because the real retail was like $400, but $35 restocking fee on a $50 phone charger? Is that even legal?!? The phone: *Battery would only hold a charge for about 6 hours with minimal use (mostly standby). *After owning the phone for 1 day i noticed a few small hairline scratches across the screen. By Day 4 the enter screen was covered in scratches. These scratches came from taking the phone in and out of my pocket, no keys or anything else in the pocket. I am very consistent in "pocket organization" - phone goes right pocket, keys go left pocket, wallet goes back pocket. My last phone i had for 2 years did not have any scratches like this on it. After returning the phone and getting as far away from AT&T as possible i went straight to Verizon, they got me in and out of the store in 20minutes with a fully activated Droid DNA in hand, which has been a dream. Battery lasts me about 2-3 days even with a quadcore and 1080p 5" screen. read more

What a HUGE mistake to go to this AT&T company store! Having been an AT&T customer for nearly 15 years, and in the past, getting phone upgrades at this AT&T location, I never thought I'd receive such poor customer service as I did today. I came in with the unfortunate problem of a phone that wasn't functioning properly and the dire need to upgrade to a new phone. I made it clear when i walked in (with my phone in hand) that I was panicked on potentially losing my data on this phone, in particular my contacts, and that I needed to try to recover my data. After sitting through a lengthy explanation of service plans by Manmeet Chani, and nearly having purchased a new phone, did he bother to tell me that he wouldn't be able to transfer my data. Not only had I been clear that was a priority but he waited until over an hour to tell me this. I requested speaking to the manager, Liz Monroy, who was not the least bit helpful either....initially she said they could "try" to transfer the data without guarantees and when I told her what her sales consultant had done...she didn't seem to react. After repeatedly expressing my anger and frustration, she apologized that I hadn't been told in the beginning their capabilities, or lack thereof. But that was about all that she offered to do. Rather than keeping an AT&T customer happy and trying to help, they actually sent me elsewhere - to an Apple store. Needless to say, it was my next stop and not only was my transaction there seamless, but they also transferred my data in probably less than 5 minutes! What a difference! If an Apple product is being considered, do yourself a favor and skip this AT&T store. Go straight to an Apple store....they'll send you there anyway! read more

So, I was going to Europe and I went to get a prepaid phone with ATT. First your international people said it would be $60 which seemed fairly inexpensive for the 10 days I was in Europe. Then I get to the store to take care of it... and bammo... it's now $185??? They said the people on the phone should have never done that it's some kind of upgrade but not what I need. Okay? Not happy but I need it so I can live with this... NOW here comes the scary part... I tell them where all I will be in Europe... a 7 day cruise and then three extra days in Paris... Day 2 on the ship and I get this over the minutes.. now mind you I had only posted 1 time that we arrived in Barcelona and paid for 800 MG of data... so I was like what is this? So I called the number.. the lady said that I was now responsible for thousands of charges? I said for what... well yo are roaming? Why when I got a data plan specifically for Europe with my whole Itinerary? She said that she would help and could get the bill down to $200? I was like I already paid $185 now $200? I posted ONCE! Anyhow, I just paid the bill and then three weeks later I get another bill for $719... REALLY! It's still not at all sorted out... but 1 text costed me over $1100.... with AT&T.... I can not express enough how sick to death I am of companies like this... So, if you care about your blood pressure, your wallet and sanity... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not use AT&T for anything! I was having a problem with my phone, but my online account said I was eligible for an upgrade so I decided to go into the store to take care of it. They pulled up my account and told me what I was eligible for. They did not my first four choices for a phone available so they sent me to the best buy across the street. They told me that I was only eligible for an "early upgrade" and the price was double what the ATT store told me it would be. I decided to go back and get my fifth choice phone that AT&T had offered me because they had it in stock and it was cheaper than what best buy quoted me. When I got back to AT&T, they informed me that it was going to be almost triple what the quoted me the first time because they never actually looked at my account status. I ended up just walking out extremely frustrated and having wasted over an hour. Horrific experience! There should be a negative star rating available for this ATT location. I echo the sentiments of so many others. They LIE about the plans and fees associated with the products you purchase. When the bill arrives and it is $200 more than it should be, they smile, apologize, and say they have corrected the problem but they have not. After three weeks of calling the store, and the ATT billing department to no avail, I learned that there is a fraud line available by calling 611. Once I got to the right people, (Fraud Dept./Customer Loyalty) they were able to walk me through resolution. I still have to pay the huge bill I received for this month, though the charges will be credited next month. The items they pushed on us as "FREE" - (and yes, they said no data plan charges when we asked), will be returned and removed from our account. read more

Tam Pham at this AT&T was amazing. My husband and I were ready to switch over to Spectrum. Tam was able to make changes and delete stuff we were not using. He did a total analysis of our life situation (just like a life coach!!). Our bill is so much more manageable now. And we get to keep all the services we were getting before. We couldn't be happier. On Sunday afternoon (9/29), my mother and I were so eager to buy a new Apple Watch. As we entered, the "manager" who was supposed to "help" us was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. After he said he would look for availability, he responded that he only had one type of watch with one band that was $300 more because of the strap itself. Instead of trying to explain why the cost was so, he rushed us out as if we were bothering him. It was honestly shocking how terrible the service was. I would give 0 stars if I could. After my recent horrible experience in the costa mesa location I was dreading coming in here. I needed a new car charger so stopped by here to pick one up. I came in and the store was crazy crazy busy! I was greeted still upon coming in and when I went to check out an employee and Manager both made sure I was assisted promptly! They new my transaction was quick and painless. A lady by the name of Diana rang me up and was super friendly. I have no idea of this was intentional but it was a very sketchy situation. We bought two phones for the buy one get one free deal and it was explained to us that there was no charge besides the activation fee. So we noticed our bill almost doubled from our previous bills from the past several years we had been with att. I checked the bill and realized instead of the 4 lines we had always been paying for, we were paying for 6 lines! Why would anyone if explained to them that you would not only be paying for the new phone line but you would be paying for the old phone line. So after wasting 2 1/2 hours 3 different times on the phone with att, I got the two old phone lines cancelled and then they said they would credit our account for the times we were charged for the extra lines, but we'll see. As soon as our contract is over, we are going to Verizon. Shady. read more

Almost 20 years I've shelled out between $200 and 300 a month for AT&T service, even used their internet service and just now when I go in to TMP Michael tells me I will have to spend $400 minimum to get a new one? He didn't even offer me a payment plan, what the heck? So I mentioned that I was a long time customer and I know SPRINT is offering an iPhone 8+ for switching what can you do for me to keep me, but Michael in a careless manner just shrugged and said, "Oh well." I came here on a Monday afternoon and even though it was crowded, the wait wasn't long at all (less than 10 min.) and I was greeted by a friendly rep named Africa. I appreciated the honesty that the sale rep telling me that currently AT&T online store has a deal of $529 for 64GB which is the same price if I were thinking about getting 32GB in store. Came here on a Wednesday and Kendra helped us out big time. My husband and I were majorly due for some phone upgrades. Kendra was very informative and helped us out to find the perfect phones. I went with the Galaxy s4 and my husband got the note 3. Kendra knew everything there was to know about the phones and we felt very comfortable. She even came up with a new plan for us that is saving us a lot of money! We were able to turn in our old phones for a $100 credit each so we picked up some screen covers, cases and my husband even got a really nice blue tooth! This was the worst AT&T store with horrible employees, I placed and online order at 11:40am for a new phone and was guaranteed 2 hour pickup. I get off of work and I head too the store and they can't "find" my order (I'm sure they gave it away to someone else). It had been 4 HOURS already and he tells me that I should cancel the online order and do it in store but he wasn't sure if I had enough money to REDEPOSIT THE SAME AMOUNT AGAIN like why the hell would I do that. So I told them I'll just wait a little longer and so I drive back home too Fullerton, which was an hour drive cause of traffic so it's about 5:30pm and when I got home I still did not receive any notification saying it was ready so I called customer service and let them know what I was told and what was going on. He cancels my order and tells me to go In store. So I go, and guess what happens ? They tell my my account is flagged for canceling my order WHICH I WAS INSTRUCTED TOO DO!!!!! Do people just love to hate AT&T? I have never had a bad experience with them, and today`s experience was exceptional. so I already have a contract, and now we are all back to school, and I am ferrying the kids here there and everywhere all day, it made sense to get my eldest a cell phone so that I can manage her whereabouts more safely. So I went to AT&T in Tustin to see if I could add a line. I dealt with Tin, who was very knowledgeable and extremely patient with my other two that kept setting off the phone alarms in the store. I only had to wait a few minutes, even though they seemed quite busy, and Tin clearly explained all my options to me, helping me to finally settle on one that not only gave us exactly what we needed, but would also result in both of us getting unlimited talk time each month, reducing the amount of data usage to one that suited my general pattern of usage better, AND best of all saving us slightly on our bill each month. He never tried to sell me anything I didn`t need. In fact, he was honest enough to tell me I didn`t need additional phone insurance, and never tried to push a more expensive phone or plan on us. I left feeling like I had got exactly what I needed, for a great price, with the flexibility to upgrade in the future should we want to, from someone who clearly knows what he is talking about and values his customers. I was in yesterday to do an upgrade for the new iphone 6. I was helped right away by Derek who was friendly and helpful explaining all the plans. I usually get pretty good sevice in this store I've been coming here for years. Derek just went a little bit more above and beyond and offered me an ipad to go with my phone and explained all the features. His manager Liz also helped explain the next program and the ipad promotions. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I will only come to this store because I know the staff there is friendly and takes care of their customers. I have looked at switching in the past but found the prices are all the same!! Worst AT&T ever. They mess your account up and have no sense of urgency to fix it for you, even with an appointment that you have to wait an hour passed your appointment time. Then when they finally see you and "fix it," nothing gets fixed. According to the reviews it is a reoccurring thing. So bad that I decided to download yelp and leave my first review/comment ever. The entire staff in that store should pull out and re-read their company manual and re-learn everything. read more

This has been the nightmare that keeps coming back. We went to upgrade my phone. Simple, right? We were told that we should be on a business plan rather than our current personal plan, and that would save us money. I asked if it was going to be long or complicated to switch the account over. I was told no. Completely inaccurate. I was at the store over 3 hours. I told them I had to pick up my son by a certain time, and no one gave that any consideration. I was an hour late getting him. There was no regard for the fact that we were sitting out in the main store area for 30 minutes at a time just waiting and confused. Brisa told us we should get an updated SIM card for our hotspot. We explained that we use the hotspot for our internet at our business because the internet service is slow and goes out often. The SIM card did not fit the hotspot! We called, and another employee laughed at us and said oh well. They did end up bringing the right SIM card over to us, but not before being laughed at. The problem was that once they gave us the new SIM card, it shut the old SIM card off and we could not use the hotspot without it. We depend on this and told them that while at the store! After leaving in tears out of sheer frustration, I felt so fooled and taken advantage of. Fast forward to a month later. Our bill is not any lower, it is actually higher. Brisa and the store manager failed to mention that we would lose our bundle insurance and had to now insure each device individually. The bundle protected our laptops and ipads as well, we totally lost that awesome option. NO ONE told us this was going to happen. And now the bill is more than it was. I feel so much at a loss. My cell service is now much slower also and I don't get WiFi half the time. What is going on? I am so disappointed. read more

This store is very misinformed about the cost and terms of their services. They made several mistakes verbally about our contract and it has taken 5 months for AT&T to make corrections, and we still do not have the package they had explained to us in the store. We are now stuck in a contract we did not want and all they want to do is issue us credits but we want a brand new contract. If you have the misfortune of dealing with Hannah good luck! She is rude and only cares about making her quota and bonus by signing customers up without explaining the complete contract. The store manager is always incredibly rude and refuses to apologize for the mistake her employee made. I am in sales myself and would not dream of treating customers the way we have been treated. Once our contract is up we will absolutely never use AT&T agin and we will be sure to let everyone we know in the area what a horrible experience we have had with this particular store. read more
