He took the time to explain everything clearly, helped me set up my My Verizon account, answered all of my questions, and stayed with us until everything was working properly. Even though the delays weren't his fault, he kept a positive attitude and found a way to get everything completed. The Verizon stores in Irvine Woodbury, Alton, Costa Mesa and Fountain Valley are an authirized reseller called Victra. Beware if doing bysiness with Victra and with Richard H. He us now also at the Huntington Beach store too. Victra has lots of stores. He charged us an extra $10/ phone " diwn payment" then increased our plan level all without telling us and locked us in. The down payment is actually just a Victra added on fee, just like how a car dealer adds on hidden fees. Richard comes off as a highly competent well manneted young man ut he is in my opinion a sneaky snake. Don't be fooled. Also all the other reps and managers appear to be the same way to me. Make sure you got to a real Vetizon store that is owned and operated by Verizon corporation...nit by "Victra" who poses as Verizon but really is not. I called Verizon corp and they apologized and said Victra licked us in there is nothing they could do to reverse the hidden ripoff that Richard put on us In my opinion, Victra is a sleazy scam....here below is the original review I wrote....sorry I wrote it..I was dead wrong. Went in to the store 40 min before closing and had the best customer service I've had with Verizon. I just came out of the Marketplace location, and it was absolutely pissed by how terrible and sloppy they are. Long story short, had a little question with my hotspot feature. Joined the waitlist and waited for an hour just to see the employees walking around waiting to clock out and told us to go home because they are closed - the walking definition of passive aggressive. If I could give negative stars I would. Absolutely livid at this point w the fact that I traded in my phone 8 months ago and still have yet to receive my $800 credit. It's been a ridiculous experience with Verizon... I was told it would take 2 months to process = May. I didn't follow up until July. Verizon said they had no record of my trade in. Call the store. Called the store. They said they see a note of trade in but no evidence I actually traded it in?!! The sales guy who helped me is also no longer an employee... They have to review camera footage to verify I actually handed in the phone?! They took 2 months to verify = September. Manager said Regional Manager needs to approve of a ticket he submitted to process trade in credit. He said it would take some time, up to 2 months to process..EVEN though I should have gotten this credit months ago. Waited patiently...2 months have gone by. It's November. On the phone now for the 2nd time today... they made me go into the store to reset my PIN code to give me a status update. I did so...went into a store and reset it. When I called they didn't even need that PIN code?! Wasted more time... And wait for it...still no record of trade in?!! Whatttt...for real? Put me on hold and found it...but now has to do more research about the promotions being offered when I traded it in?! He has to submit a ticket? What happened to the other ticket the store manager submitted to regional manager?! so DONE. 45 min later..they are still doing research? Terrible ass service. Take your money to another Irvine location, please. Went to try to pickup my phone and had confirmed with customer service that I'm set to pickup my phone at the location. Dude opens the safe for 10 mins just to tell me I had to re-input the order so I don't pay extra store upgrade fees vs. online and they said it's not available for pickup yet and didn't get a confirm from customer service rep. Probably another sales spiel. So I ordered again and finally got the confirmation through text on 11/12 and I have 3 days to pickup. Now, I was not able to pick it up but I called ahead of time to extend and customer service AGAIN confirmed that they've extended again for 1 day and actually called the store. I come today to pick it up and they AGAIN say that they didnt get any calls from customer service. Alright, so it's either no one picks up the calls in the store, or customer service is lying which is both terrible. We had a tough problem to solve in that we did not have the Apple ID password to make a seamless transfer of smart phone data to our new phone, but the employees at Verizon were super resourceful. They were able to get all contacts and all photos on the phone transferred over to the new one, which saved the day! They were also very helpful in setting up the new phone and iPad. I had the absolute worst experience at this location. The employees were rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. They didn't fulfill an online pick up order after four+ hours had passed because "they just get around it it", and when I expressed my frustration, they were belittling and irritated that they had to help me. I hope their boss reads this review, although I'm not sure they'd care since "they don't need this job" they explicitly told me. I think they may have also been high. Asked one question and they said that their store would not be able to handle it - visit a corporate branch jamboree and Michelson. How about as soon as someone walks in - find out what they are there for... and if u know u can't handle it or don't want to handle it/them - why have them unnecessarily wait 30 minutes????!! Walked in to get a new internet service and Ray approached me in a very rudely way without greeting me or anything he was very close to my face and kept asking me what do I want???? Very rude and when I tried to explain to him that I was there for a new service he refused to help me and went in the back to hide. Finally another gentleman name Rassom came out of the back room and also refused to help me. So I asked to speak with their store manager and I was told that he's in the bathroom. After waiting for over 20 minutes finally their store manager came out and again without greeting me he was just giving me strange dirty looks just like Ray. Avoid this Verizon franchise store @ 5365 Alton Parkway, Irvine at all costs. I placed an order online with Verizon Corp on June 2nd and they offered me local pickup at this store. I was told I would be contacted within 24 hours to schedule pickup. On June 4th, I checked online and the order was still showing placed but Not Ready for Pickup. I called Verizon and they contacted the store (no direct number) who stated the phone would be ready in 30-60 minutes. I arrived 2 hours later and was told to wait they would be right with me. 1 hour later Misha finally asked me what I needed. I told him I was there to pickup an online order. He said it would take 10 minutes to get it out of the safe. He came back and informed me they did not have my phone after all. Another rep informed they had transferred the phone to a sister store in Costa Mesa to fulfill another order. They wanted me to cancel my online order and place a new with them. The worst store ever and is a scammer! Never ever go to this store. I went to this store to signup for a new phone. So they charge me for $278.10. I was asking can I have the itemized receipt, the person called Saram said will give it to me once he done with my transfer. He was so nice and telling me the new phone comes with the accessories such as case, adapter and screen protector. Once he opened the package started put the screen protector and telling me the change is $278.10. I asked why so expensive and I need the itemized receipt and they said will print it to me once they done with my transfer. I was super enough and wait for my phone done transferring and I saw the itemized receipt that case, screen protector and the adapter cost $150. Just the screen protector itself already $72. I was like, I did ask you guys does all the accessories come with it, this guy say yes. The other lady said think about it of course we charge you and there is no such free lunch at this world. I was like what the heck. I said I return the phone and they want to charge me restocking me $50, I said okay but they did not tell me about they are not going to refund me the setup fees? Then, I said well what is setup fee for? It's help you setup the phone and everything. I was like what? I did not know that. Basically, there are a lot of hidden fees. I am so mad and nothing I can do but just lost the $156. Guys, do not come to this store, they are third party people not the Verizon corporation store. Drive a bit far away to get your store.
