Similar to other reviews here, I also had to wait about 20 minutes before meeting a representative (no different from most other AT&T stores) but when the sales person came over I had a very pleasant experience. I opened an account under my business tax ID number and provided all of the supporting documents. Come to find out they put it under my personal social security and attempted to report on my personal credit their mistake. I have been to this store several times. The service is terrible. I have been with AT&T for a long time. My husband worked for them for over 10 years. This store does a horrible job and treats their customers very poorly. All the associates stand around on their iPads looking confused and can never give you a straight answer. Don't start a sentence with...I think! Your the manager, you either know or you don't. read more

Walked in to simply get a new Sim card. They gave us a number, which was 1 for about 25 minutes and people behind us were helped first. Seemed like they prioritize customers by how much money they want to spend as they asked us why we were here when we walked in. Wasnt first come first serve for walk ins. Waited for 30 minutes watching people pass by us. Place seems pretty retarded. People were nice at least. read more

We just waited an hour to do an insurance claim and the girl hands us a paper and tells us to fill it out and send it in. Then gives us attitude when we ask why this wasn't done when we walked in. This location only cares about selling phones. I had an issue with a lost phone. I had another backup to replace it. The young lady seemed confused on how to handle the situation so she had the manager come to help. My mail was not working and they said because the phone was out of date. I asked about an upgrade and they said I was not eligible..OK fine. They didn't want to help me figure the technical difficulties? Isn't that their job? It took me an hour to get the job done myself and I'm a tech caveman. I checked about my upgrade eligibility on the website and sure enough, I am eligible. Came back the next day and the manager stood there having a conversation while I just waited and the front? Told them I was eligible and was ready to buy a new phone. They still said I wasn't? I guess I'll just by the phone at another store. The worst att store I've ever been to period. read more

I went to the ATT Store in Pomona on Indian Hill Boulevard and those guys know nothing about my blackberry. What I found out was that the one in Pomona is run by an individual while the one in Upland runs by ATT. There is a big different in term of the machine they have in transfering data, how many reps they have working on the floor and experience they have in handling your phone. I didn't get the rep name but he was very helpful and setup all my e-mails for me...took him like an hour but he did it all and fixed all the errors that Best Buy caused when they setup my phone. The man with the glasses who was working around 3:22 pm today, helped these other two ladies signed up but a group of us have been waiting and he put them ahead on top of that he didn't even put me on there cause he thought I was with the other black person. This is about the store on 1900 N. Campus Ave, Upland CA near Highway 210. Associate helped me soon enough, but said there was something wrong with the order I was supposed to pick up, but didn't say what. Said he would call me back if the order could be picked up. I was never called. Went back later and he said he still could not help me. I asked to speak to the manager. He replied, "I am the manager on duty." I asked for the District Manager's phone number. He took my driver's license a second time and went into the back office. There was a lot of loud laughter in the back. I had the impression they were laughing about me. Finally, the real manager came (so the associate had lied to me.) The manager finally gave me an explanation that there was something wrong with the payment on the order, but that I could pay for the order (which had been paid for I was told in another state - it was a Christmas present.) When I insisted on getting the district manager's phone number, she (the manager) said SHE would give the district manager my phone number. After 3 days I have not yet received a phone call yet. The worst retail store service of any industry I have ever experienced and I am 68 years old so I have a lot of experience. BOTTOM LINE: Absolutely do not go to this store. read more

I went in to the store with the intentions of making sure my IPhone 6s plus was able to be sold and that i was paying off the correct plan to ensure i was able to do so. After 2 trips to the store, speaking with the same associate both times, even specifically asking her to make sure that the Iphone 6s plus 64gb (i brought it with me and had her check the serial number on the phone) was the device i was going to pay off, then paying for the device I came to find out that I paid off the wrong phone and my IPhone 6s plus is still on the same installment plan. Just the fact that out of my own fear of this EXACT occurrence happening was my whole reason why i went in twice to double check that i was doing everything correct just to find out it was not is the reason this store is rated so low. read more

Best AT&T store ever. I was assisted by young lady. (Manager Connie) very personable. Signed me in and introduced herself, then asked for my name. She asked if we had any general question while we waited. Checked in on me twice to Reassure me id be helped! Thank you!! Representative named Matt helped us. We upgraded and traded in our devices plus added a line with no contract for my younger son. He transferred out info and we got a case and Bluetooth for my husband. Explained everything thoroughly. Got out in 40 minutes. Very impressed service in other stores isn't nearly as good.. Good job upland att store. Plans went down so that makes me happy!! read more

WOW! what an experience. 1st the Clerk whom helped me was NOT clear on the information she was telling me (AS SHE GOT MORE AND MORE ANGRY), so I called 611 and the 611 person was not clear either and in front of me (a customer) they proceeded to ARGUE. Now, the person on the phone from AT&T was very professional and despite his error he did apologize and on top of that correct himself. HOWEVER THE STORE MANAGER "Priscilla" was a arrogant, rude and even stated she DID NOT CARE IF I WAS A CUSTOMER. Then proceeded to ask me "Why didn't you yell at the person on the phone". She did not care about the service despite the clerk being wrong (Jazzy), THE STORE MANAGER WANTED TO "RIGHT" (ego boost perhaps). Professionalism is not at all what this store is about, I would suggest to go to a store better suited for PROFESSIONALS as she took her position personal and actually got angry and yes!! the STORE MANAGER WAS EVEN WRONG. omg I'm so annoyed ive been sitting in this store for about an hour just to switch numbers and transfer my contact. these people are bullshitting!! some fat ass african American woman was helping me first. First of all she moved so slow with her big ol' ass she couldn't even move. She had such a bad attitude. it's like if her mouth was heavy, that the words couldn't even come out. then I asked her if she had cases for a certain type if phone and she just said yes but didn't show me where or anything. to transfer my contacts, it literally took an hour because they couldn't get it. No one could figure it out. Then I was like so is it a "phone defect"? They said yes and asked when. I got the phone. I literally got it the night before. They didn't want to give me a new phone so then they took even longer to try and figure it out!!! so annoying. and then like 4 different people got involved. A great group of AT&T employees at this store! This was my 4th AT&T store that I visited to help resolve my problem. My issue was new and unique: wanted to switch from NEXT program to Standard within my 14 days allowance. I was desperate as it was my last day to make the switch. Anthony helped me out and his manager, Vanessa, supported him every step of the way. Like I said the issue is new and they are all still learning. BUT the difference between the employees at this store is they are thorough and truly CARE for their customers. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT, AT&T. I know sales is what makes money, but to have employees that care about loyal, paying customers like me is JUST AS IMPORTANT. I know they did not make commission off of me and it took them a long time to resolve my problem. They need recognition for being diligent and representing your company well. I almost lost hope with your company after visiting 3 previous stores that did not have the time for my problems: Chino Hills, Brea and Fullerton failed you in my eyes. This store is terrible. I was lied to when I tried to exchange my old phone for a credit. I was told that their store "doesn't do that." When I showed the representative and manager the email that says that they do indeed take trade-ins, they searched for every way possible to reject my phone. They asked where I bought it - I told them through ATT. They guy kept asking if all of the buttons worked; I repeatedly said yes. Finally, he located a small crack on the perimeter of the class and said that they could not accept it. I would be fine if this was the only problem - I can sell it to a private buyer. However, I don't like the fact that I was lied to at the beginning. Do not trust this store - especially the manager Jesus. He repeatedly lied to me. I finally called ATT and they are issuing me the credit, no questions asked. Avoid this store. I've been to plenty of other ATT stores and they have all been excellent. Not sure how they are getting away with their tactics, but I'd find a more trustworthy place to spend my money if I were you. read more

Location is ran horribly they don't have a cashier available for simple transactions you have to wait for everyone to go through sales and etc before your simple transaction can be conducted. They have a lady that just takes names and doesn't really do anything but walk around helping no one. read more
