I went here to do a three-way upgrade on an iPhone, which consisted of (1) me using someone else's upgrade to get the new 32 GB iPhone, (2) giving my old iPhone to someone else, and (3) two others getting on a family plan. The good news was that it was a lot to ask, and they were very accommodating and were able to get everything done. The bad news was that we were there for 2 hours. We actually spent the first 30 minutes waiting for a salesperson to help us. The store had a sign-up sheet and was actually quite busy for an early Saturday afternoon. The salesperson who helped us was actually a very nice guy, but he seemed to be in over his head in our request (which, I admit, was very complicated). The biggest problem was transferring contacts to one phone to another--in the end, it all got done, it just took a long time to get there. Three stars for friendly service; two stars for the long wait. I would come back, but if I had another special request, I may try a different AT&T store. read more

Basically just a room full of listless customers who have been waiting too long for acknowledgement from the staff. There's no front desk. There's no welcome kiosk. There's no place for a line to form. There's no greeter. I wandered the floor for 30 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone, despite there only being about 3-4 customers in the store. Terrible customer service. Surly rude staff. You can wait over an hour to get help even thougu very few customers are there. I had an AT&T phone and the bill was wildly different, and higher, every month, even though I was supposed to be on a contract where I owed the same amount every month. I refused to pay their overcharges and they wouldnt let me out of a scam contract and they literally destroyed my credit. Dont sign any contract with these scammers is my beat advice. read more

I was with AT&T for over 5 years and grandfathered in to their less expensive unlimited data plan and $10 for 1000 message plan with 450 unlimited minutes 5000 weekend and unlimited Mobile to mobile + rollover. My bill come to $89 per month or so and this is pretty good considering I can and do stream whenever I feel like it. That said - $50 a month for unlimited everything seemed like a better deal with Virgin Mobile so I switched. If you love Iphones - and live in the LA area - be educated - don't do this. The Virgin coverage is atrocious for both voice calls quality and dropped calls went up by over 50% and for data speeds - in Long Beach non-existent where I work even though the coverage map says it is covered and by LAX spotty at best for 3 and 4G So I got an offer to come back to ATT&T and if I signed up for 2yrs I got $100 off any phone. The coupon was specific to me and this store. I spoke to AT+T customer service before I went and they were awesome over the phone and said I could come back and my plan and my minutes could be restored like I'd never left. So, after a hard day of customer service and management personally at my job, I went to this ATT&T retail store and was virtually ignored even though the place was practically empty and there were at any given time - more staff than customers. I worked with 6 different 4 of them averted their eyes and barely spoke to me, even though I was being perfectly friendly. They gave me a landline to AT&T customer service and they helped me over the phone while I was in their store. I kept flagging people in the store down as needed. This took 2.5hrs. The only time I got attention was when it was time to purchase the new 32gig 5S. I gave them the coupon and 4 of the staff in the store all sat down and discussed it - in front of me. Then decided, for no good reason - it did not apply to Iphones. The rep on the phone got her supervisor to speak to them at the store - again - to get them to honor it. It took a long time for them to charge me - and I think that was the big issue with the coupon - they just didn't know how to account for the coupon and didn't want to give it to me because it created more work. BE WARNED - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS STORE - STAY AWAY. read more

UPDATE: It's now month 8 and I still have not received credits for my monthly installment plan!!! I have spoken to customer Loyalty 4 times this week and they keep telling me that I will see a credit next month- literally the 6th month they've promised a credit and have not followed through with their contractual agreement. This the worst AT&T store I've ever been to Everyone is waiting. No toilet paper in rest room for ladies. I had to call Apple for a question. The guy went to another customer and stayed with her. AT&T has stepped up their game when it comes to customer service. I purchased a cell phone for my daughter a couple of months ago. She used to have an iPhone 4S but was taken away as a disciplinary action. Her new flip phone was only suppose to have cell service and texting. I ended turning her phone off completely because she didn't appreciate it. The customer service representative on the phone told me that her line had a data plan attached to it, which caused me to be charged $30 extra a month. I was furious and the service rep. on the phone wanted to give me a $25 credit to my account. I told her I was going back to the same store that added the $30 a month. I went back to the AT&T store on Lincoln. That's when I met Christopher Hunst. He was so helpful. He didn't argue or question my story. He looked up my account and saw that I was being overcharged and he credited my account for all of the charges. He also apologized for me having to come back to the store, because he said the customer service rep. on the phone could have done the same thing, instead of offering a $25 and having me drive back the marina. Sergio helped me upgrade my iPhone 6. I made it VERY clear I did not want to pay for any sort of extra insurance/protection pack. Of course, I got home to an email that said "Thanks for signing up for AT&T Mobile Protection Pack!" I cancelled it, but I was still charged for the first month. I visited this store to have them change out my SIM to a micro. There were four associates on a Saturday, and they went through customers pretty quickly. I was 11th in line and got helped about 45 minutes later, so that wasn't bad. The gal who helped me understood my request and completed the task in about five minutes. Not too bad. I had previously gone to the Alhambra store and waited for an hour before I left in frustration. I was 5th in line there but the associates would all disappear into the back room at the Alhambra store. read more

Awesome Customer Service!! I did not leave this store with anything I came in to buy but everyone was so pleasant and helpful. They assisted me with getting a temporary phone until my new phone arrives in the mail. The retail rep, Chelsie and the Asst Store Mgr,Lisa Miller listened to my issues and offered explanation of my problems. Came to this AT&T location to start a small business line for the company i work for and i was helped by Mike who is one of the managers. I walked in expecting to spend hours there, being that i needed over 30 lines to be opened and situated with devices. As soon as i walked in i got a warm greeting by everyone and was helped immediately. Mike was able to make this whole experience run smoothly, I didn't feel like i was being up sold on anything (which I was expecting). I truly felt like he did everything to give me a great deal on the contract with all the devices. I was out of there in an hour with everything I needed without breaking a sweat. Another awesome thing was before i left Both the managers Mike and Lisa helped me out and gave me their business cards. It was comforting to know that if i had any questions or issues with any of the lines i had just opened up that i was able to get hold of a manager and not have to worry about going back and forth with the 1-800 numbers or any automated system with att. I was able to speak to them directly with all the questions i had after my visit. i couldnt have had an easier more delightful experience. Thanks guys!!! read more

I've been going to this location for about 15 years to take care of all my family's AT&T cellphone needs. As a family of 4, we've switched out about 20 phones. We've always had a great experience at this location - whether we bought the phone there, brought it in just to activate, or needed a new sim card. It's always been a positive experience but tonight's visit (12/30/21) was extra special. We squeezed in the door pretty close to closing (about 8:00 p.m.) but were greeted with an exceptionally pleasant and patient attitude. Even though I forgot most of my information and had to make a call to get it sorted out (and had to use their phone to do that!), they were great, very patient and exceptionally helpful. I never felt rushed, even when I couldn't remember my own phone number. (Yes; I was a pretty lame customer but they were great!) This is a no-brainer 5-star review! read more

I am an AT&T stockholder, in addition to LONG time mobile customer. Last year I signed up for the "NEXT" program, and purchased my 5th or 6th iPhone. Yesterday I went in to upgrade to iPhone 6, and was "helped" by Victor. I walked out 45 minutes later, because he could not figure out how to apply the NEXT program, to my current phone..(which had been a replacement due to manufacturer problem). He advised me, "you'll have to sign up for two years, and pay the full price". I called Customer Service and was advised to go to another retail outlet!!! Looks like it's time to switch to Verizon...... #BS read more

AT&T Store - Football! - Mobile Phones Near Me - Venice, California

The store is your typical AT&T store but I had to give this one four stars solely for the sales rep who helped me, Ashley. Otherwise, this would be a one or two star review. I walked in one afternoon to get one of those $49 iPhone 3GS deals they have been advertising. Having lost my company-paid BlackBerry due to a layoff, I had to get financial responsibility for my phone number transferred to me before I could activate the phone. This is something they can't do in the store for some reason. They have to call customer care, located in what I suspect is Mumbai, to have some guy screw everything up. It took an hour and twenty minutes for this guy to get the number transferred over. I learned later the delay was because he spelled my name wrong on the credit check. Unbelievable. Through all of it, Ashley was patient and friendly, and got me out the door with a fully-functional iPhone (whick kicks BlackBerry's ass, by the way). I had a bit of an issue with the SIM card the following day but a five minute visit with Ashley fixed me up and everything has been great since. read more

Thanks to the store manager and her staff who were of great help. My S7 edge stopped linking to my car. The staff first tested my phone and everything was good with the phone. The store manager then suggested that a recent operating system update may have caused the problem. She suggested that I try deleting my registered phone from the car, then add it again. She then said, " How about if I just come out to your car and help you?" Sure enough, she had my phone linked and working within 2 minutes. Greta job! read more

I think this use to be a Cingular location years ago, had an account there and didn't experience anything necessarily good or bad. Was in the store recently for an iPhone upgrade and had a great experience with staff. Finally I got a real human who was techy, geeky, and understood my needs. I have several phones on a plan and wanted to add another along with an iPhone upgrade. 32gb phone was in stock (bonus) and having several others I got a great price on a new phone. The rep helped for some time as I was searching for a unique phone number using certain digits I prefer. I almost expected attitude but he understood and fortunately the store wasn't busy so we had some fun searching out numbers that would be suitable. I like being able to get face to face with a rep rather than get on the phone, especially since this store is nearby my home and office, and it's a good feeling when they at least appear like they care. Parking on Lincoln Blvd can be hit or miss and traffic on that corner can be crazy so if you get a chance hit up the lot in the back. Yes, there's a back entrance, bonus since on such a busy boulevard. read more

Today my wife and I visited a store at Marina del rey, CA and had an horrible experience. I was going to add a new line on my account and waiting for a sales rep. After 30 min, a female sales rep finally came and sat down with us. As soon as she sat, she started watching TV (football game) and asked what my name was and what brought me in without even looking at me. I was upset by her rude and unprofessional attitude, but tried to make things out. She asked me my account info to pull up my data while watching football game again, which delayed a whole process because she couldn't see the tablet uploaded data. When I asked her to focus on the business and not watch TV, she got upset and didn't seem to be happy to help us. Ever since then, her attitude got worse and more rude. My wife and I reported this issue to the store manager but no one apologized. We have been royal customers for a long time, but I don't think we will use at&t any more. I would like to report the store sales rep and manager but I couldn't find where I can report. Please let me know how and where to report. read more

Extremely long wait. Six customers in the store, and one of the four employees working today disappeared after finishing with a customer, not to return. No one seems in a hurry to help, lots of casual conversation with the customers (dinner plans, favorite restaurants, housing improvements, etc). When I asked to be helped after having been in the store for 30 minutes I got a very curt response of "We will be with you in a minute, sir." This ain't a clothing boutique on sunset avenue folks...it shouldn't take me nearly an hour just to buy a phone, especially with that customer/helper ratio. When I did get helped, the service was professional and good, which prevented this from being a lower rating. Ronnie was professional, answered all my questions, and took less than 10 minutes to get everything set up and get me on my way. read more

This store is always a repellant experience. It starts with walking in the front door at 10 a.m. and being assaulted with the stench of bodies that do not shower in the morning. The experience then proceeds to sincerely expressing, in a helpful tone, not having any ability to service the phones they sell. The store service personnel's defaulted solution for any problem with a Samsung is to send you over to Best Buy to get help. If its an iPhone, the automatic response is directions to the Santa Monica Apple store. It took four negative experiences to get me angry enough to post this review. read more

Everyone is so nice here. I was helped by Chelsea, Victor, and Mike throughout my visits here. All three of them were amazing. I went in to upgrade my phone and make some changes to my wireless plan and they were all very receptive to what I was looking for and did not try to push anything on me. Chelsea took the time to break down all my charges and help me find the cheapest option for what I wanted and she was really cool and funny. Victor and Mike were similarly very helpful and very friendly. I would def recommend this store. Also, a nice guy greeted me the second I walked in and asked for my name and let me know that there was no one in front of me on the list and that I was next to be helped. Omg my worst nightmare come true. I went in after my phone was stolen at Home Depot. The lady was so nice and said "you are due for an upgrade and get a FREE PHONE". I was surprised because they don't do that anymore, so I kept verifying that with her. After I picked my new iPhone out she starts trying to pitch me on tv and internet service. Over and over she brings it up. Finally she says for me to choose which monthly payment I want. I was like "you really shouldn't tell people they get a free phone when they don't". I went to this store to help my parents set up accounts for newly acquired iphones that could not be set up online with quite a few issues to discuss and obstacles to overcome. Luckily Victor, the primary reason for this five star review, worked hard to help us and give us the best service we could get and ensured us minimal hardship down the line. I am really grateful for his patience and help with every obstacle that came up with these phones and getting the right plan for us. He really saved the day! It was a bit of a wait time for walk-ins but it was definitely worth it! I have to disagree with the negative reviews because the customer service was great down to the friendly security guard and the person who signed our name on the list.
