    This is a franchise Verizon store and the sales person, Ash, is by far the best employee I've ever met. I had to troubleshoot 4 different days and times and he was helpful every, single, time! It's a great location in is worth going out of your way for.

As a Macbook and iPhone owner, I follow Apple stuff online, but periodically enjoy going into one of the stores to see stuff in person. Even when I'm not intending on buying. Currently I have a iPhone 16 Pro Max. I bought it maybe three months before the iPhone 17 came out. I was checking out the specs and differences and chatted with one of the staff members on duty. And he actualy discouraged me from upgrading as new versions were on the horizon in the near future. I appreciate folks that give you the quick and dirty about merchandise. It made me want to visit this store again. Lack of upselling = good value in my opinion. I would give this store a five but my policy is to never give chains more than a four. So you'll have to live with that.

Before doing so, I wanted to address a previous experience and clarify information I had been given on an earlier visit. Instead of acting professionally and treating me with respect, the opposite happened. Steffon avoided directly answering my questions and kept redirecting the conversation with unrelated inquiries. I was trying to resolve a clear discrepancy between what I had previously been told and what I was now being told. There was no effort to reconcile the difference or provide clarity. When I realized the conversation was going nowhere, I asked to speak with someone else. I was told no one else was available. I then asked if I could speak with another associate at a different time, and Steffon stated he would not find someone else for me to talk to. Refusing to escalate or provide another point of contact is not acceptable customer service. I own almost every major Apple product and have been a loyal customer for years. I walked in prepared to spend money and left feeling dismissed instead. This review is the beginning of my escalation. I refuse to accept subpar service, especially from a brand that positions itself as premium. I expect this to be reviewed and addressed appropriately. Customers deserve professionalism and respect. This experience did not meet that standard.

    A friend and I made a pilgrimage to the Peak Design store last weekend and we had an experience…read morethat far exceeded any expectations I might've had! A super friendly young guy, Ethan, greeted us. I told him I was embarrassed to have brought a Peak Design camera strap and the Capture device with me, in hopes that someone could help me attach them to my camera and bag, respectively. He had the most fantastic response: "We love to do that! That's why we have felt work pads on this counter!" He gestured to a spacious work counter and, there, he helped me attach my strap to my camera and my Capture to my bag. It was wonderful. And I now know how to do these things myself, because he showed me what he was doing. We also learned that the shop will let you host a screening of your work (say, a film or photos) there after they close for the day. And they are constantly hosting free photography walks in the neighborhood and other cool events. There was another guy working there that day and he too was great--warm and welcoming. And the store is so well laid out and the product line is awesome. Everything is thoughtfully designed by industrial engineers who I think are also into photography. Cannot recommend this brand or this location enough.

My main purpose of going in store was to see what other accesory items I should tack on to reach the free gift level for Black Friday, but them letting me know about the inventory stock saved me a couple of hours of driving! I will definitly check out the Abbott Kinney store the next time I'm in the area. If you are curious, I had my eye on the 45L Travel Backpack and finally pulled the trigger. It's very padded, has pockets and zippers in all the right places for how I want to use a travel backpack. It's also pretty big for a backpack... If you're looking for a travel or camera backpack it's an awesome one. If you are looking for an everyday carry, you might want to size down to the 30L version. Peak makes well researched, very practical products that are well constructed (like their famous travel cubes). Check them out if you want to up your travel game or if you just want to make your pack and carry life easier!

    TLDR: Kevin, Ruben, & Meg set the standard to be beat in customer service and professionalism…read more After being with them for 30 years for cellular, I had decided months ago to leave AT&T. I went in late on a Friday afternoon on a beautiful day, thinking it'd be quick and easy. It was not quick. It was, however, exceptional. I was greeted immediately by Ruben, who let me know from the get that it'd be about 20 minutes before someone could sit with me. He asked what I was in for and got me on the list. He looped back prepping me for what I needed so I could be ready when it was time. I logged into my ATT account and took screenshots of my statements, account, and plan details. Kevin was the guy assigned to work with me. I was clear about what I wanted, he was clear about T-Mobiles offering, and we were off to a good start. But then, we were met with challenges at every step of the way. AT&T did not make it easy for me to transfer. From getting the release PIN to porting the account over, we ran into hiccups and delays. Throughout the ENTIRE process Kevin was calm, patient, and unphased. A true professional. Ruben stopped in from time to time to check on us both as we progressed. I was astounded by Ruben's attentiveness on the floor, checking in with customers in progress as well as those walking in the door, consistently until his shift ended. They had a full house, and no one sat for more than two minutes without a hello. In the final stretch, I asked Kevin when his shift was up, He assured me we'd be done before the top of the hour. Turned out, AT&T had given me an account number that did not match on the back end in order to port the number over to the new carrier. We took it straight off of my invoice, it failed, Kevin and I contacted AT&T via the app to confirm, they confirmed, Kevin had to escalate up through T-Mobile to three-way patch a conversation with AT&T to get the correct account number - which was not, by the way, the account number I had on my invoice OR in the app. (SHADY!) All to say, Kevin's patience and professionalism all the way through our THREE HOURS together was unwavering. I walked in nervous about a carrier switch, I walked out converted to T-Mobile without one single regret. On the way out, I was able to thank Meg who was on the floor and had supported us through the entire fiasco. Wow, T-Mobile, if Kevin, Ruben, & Meg represent the quality you offer in service, they are bar none. Thank you to the T-Mobile Santa Monica team for one hell of a first experience with a new carrier that has me never looking back.

    The staff here are very helpful. One time my phone just turned off and I couldn't restart it. I…read morewalked in and within 5 minutes the staff showed me how to restart it, if the usual way didn't work. I also downloaded the T-Life app and on Tuesdays they have deals, which are fun! I have received a tote bag, umbrella, blanket, etc. The staff are also very patient when there are issues with my phone, or when my front glass has cracked. Fortunately for me, I have insurance, so the staff guided me on how to make an appointment with an affiliate local repair shop. Thank you T Mobile!
