Recently had an extraordinarily great experience here at this store. Male employee helped me out with my voicemail troubleshooting and sadly I didn't get his name but he had glasses and appeared to be of Latino descent (I'm assuming). He clearly had expert knowledge on the issue and didn't try to trick me into buying anything or pressuring me to make him any commission. Gotta love when the store is not just for sales. Bad bad bad. Its bad that mobile sales-person is today's equivalent to a used car salesman. You can't wait for a new phone but you dread the double talk and up-selling like you are at Jiffy-lube or a time share presentation (same tactics). Ugh! I tried to make it as pleasant as possible by making an appointment ahead of time and took my family with me to help me cut through the double talk and get only what I need. We got there 10 minutes early, signed in and waited. 40 minutes later I asked the receptionist for status reminding her that I had an appointment - she talked to me like I was irritating HER! She gets paid to do one job - to have good customer service but was upset that she had to look up from her iPad to acknowledge me. Then she thought she was putting me in my place by saying "we only have 2 sales people tonight, did you expect them to stop helping their other customers to help you just because you have an appointment ?" I responded confused as to why they would schedule an appointment and understaff themselves. She didn't respond and just stood there smirking. We left, we couldn't understand how they could allow a person like her represent their company. She was everything we hate about the mobile industry and she lead with being indignant instead of empathy. Not one of their sales people stepped in to soften her mouth or apologize for her attitude - all of them cowards. We will go to Apple or Target after Christmas to get the phones. After being with ATT since they were Cingular - buying several pre-iphones, 3 iPads and 12 iPhones from them over the years, this is how they treat loyalty? This store is the worse and most incompetent AT&T store around. Not only is my service practically worthless at my home, they offered NO assistance or remedy for the problem! When finally leaving AT&T for T-Mobile (GREAT calls at home now) they (Kacie and Aaron) told me I DID NOT need to pay off my phone that I'd be billed. WRONG!!! Now my phone is locked, held ransom due to re-porting for three days back to AT&T, than hassle unlocking it once billing cycle starts to pay off the phone which I went in to do originally, and FINALLY get it on the new GREAT T-MOBILE plan. Christopher Cerda is the man to speak with at the AT&T store. I first met Chris at the Montebello store and he was amazing. I have been a loyal AT&T customer since it was Cingular. I always hated when it was time to update my service or get new phones. From various stores all the way to Pasadena I alway have been promised a great deal or gift cards only to discover that after the sale things changed. No one would help me or honor their promises. Chris changed all that. He is the most knowledgeable, caring and had integrity. He is what all service reps should strive to be. It never fails, there's always something wrong with the service here. I called customer service to cancel a line over a month ago, but I was still getting charged for the line. I was able to cancel the line in person quite easily. I asked a few other questions regarding my bill, which I wasn't able to get answered and was referred to customer service several times even though they were pretty basic non-detailed questions. I wanted to purchase a new phone as well, but they didn't have what I needed. The selection here is limited and the service is half assed. read more

I would first like to thank Christina and Rose for taking the time to figure out the problem I was having with my Note 7 Trade in. These two girls worked tirelessly to figure out what was going on with my account. I would have to say that their customer service was FAR beyond what anyone else would have done. Rose had to leave our group to help some other customers that came in but Christina finally got everything figured out and all is great once again. THIS !! is why I'm still an ATT customer ! Thanks again ! I do not know how the other Sales Consultants are with customers but I've never had any complaints about these two. This store is the absolute worst ever!! My battery is not working and my phone is overheating so I go in on Monday to see what's up. Their system is down (of course) so the only thing this Omar guy told me to do was go to the Apple Store or wait to get the iPhone 7! How bout no. It's cool, I'll live. Called their customer care to pay my bill because hey their system is down, and I asked about insurance. Verbatim, the guy told me it included "extended warranty" covering "theft, water damage, or any manufacturing defect after the first year with the phone" and told me to go back to the store. Ok so I go back. I am pissed at myself for not looking this kid's name but he talked to me like I was a five year old. That did it. I told him what the customer service guy said he said it was wrong and then proceeded to lecture me on Apple Care. Ok home boy, I am not slow like that, I know what Apple Care is. I am seriously so aggravated about how this kid talked to me that I called and cancelled my plan. I am not even mad that their corporate and their stores are so disconnected and provide whatever information suits them, but the condescending way they talk to you is gross. I should have read the yelps reviews first. This is the worse customer service of any AT&T store I've ever been too. Ive been having problems with my phone and took it in for sum help. The girl who greeted us was kinna rude, no smile just straight forward what are you looking for, I said my phone no longer charges and was looking for another phone. Made a Yelp account to specifically write this review. I went into this store twice, yesterday and today. Yesterday I went in with my boyfriend and it was really busy, considerably because it was a Saturday. We were not greeted when we walked in, but I didn't mind because of how busy it was. We saw a couple of people waiting in line, so we got behind them. After waiting there for a while, a lady finally spoke to the people waiting in front of us. She sounded pretty rude saying to them "Did you write your name on the list yet? There are 8 people ahead of you so you're going to have to wait." When me and my boyfriend heard this, we looked each other and decided that it was not worth the wait, and that we would come back later. So we did that today, and this time the store was not as busy. There were a few people in there, but again as we walked in, no one greeted us or asked us if we needed help with anything. The employees could clearly see us, but we were basically ignored. Another thing is that they seem to be under staffed. But anyway my boyfriend & I decided to walk around the store and wait for someone to help us. I also noticed a few other people standing around, waiting to be helped. Finally an employee who seemed available walked right past us, looking at us and then looking away. Then she disappeared into the back. We waited a little longer and I just decided that I did not want to give them my business, so we left empty handed again. Sucks. The store itself is really nice however, too bad the customer service is not. read more

This is the AT & T store that I choose to come to because of Frank. He's awesome! I have purchased the past 3 phones from Frank because he's no BS. He's funny and makes the entire process of a buying a phone, which can be long and tedious, fun. My husband and I send all of our friends to him, and all of them have thanked us. He's also very considerate. He texted me to let me know that my iPhone 4S was in because he knows I was going crazy waiting for my pre-order. Use to be our only phone shop. Don't know what happened but these guys forgot that they're here for the customers. The guy who checked us in wasn't nice at all. His words and body language came across as if I was bothering him. My phone wasn't working so I felt stuck. Turned out the guy was wrong on my wait time. I came into the store today to purchase 10 WiFi hotspot devices for my small business. I was greeted at the door by Jessica. She said she would check me in and someone would be right with me. She then proceeded to the back room and never came back out front. There were 3 other so called "experts" helping other customers. The first employee finished up and went straight to the back room with h Jessica and never came back out. After waiting another 20 minutes more, the second expert finished and walked over to me and asked if anyone has helped me. I said no I have been waiting for someone to help me. She said she would be right with me, but then walked away and went straight to the back room to Join Jessica the manager and the other employee in the back and never returned. I waited more and finally the last employee out front asked if I had been helped. I told her everyone said they would be right with me but then all went into the back never to return. I asked to speak with Jessica the manager to let her know about the poor customer service. I told Jessica about my poor customer service experience , but all she could say was how popular she was with all her customers. However, after reading some of the reviews on here she is living in a fantasy land and it's clear many customers have had a bad experience with Jessica and her store and do not like her, making her very "unpopular"!! She has very poor customer service skills and is rude with a bad attitude . She did nothing to try and fix the situation or try to help. I will be taking my business to Verizon. I've tried to give this place so many chances but every time I need help I end up dealing with employees with attitude or they are just not helpful at all. Last night alone I tried calling various times after ordering a phone online for pick up because I thought maybe it's best if I don't have to deal with them in store. Absolutely no one answered the phone. I tried calling four times. It was about 30 minutes to closing and no one from the store had contacted me about my phone being ready. Which should have been ready after two hours. Their lack of customer service is ridiculous. The least they could do is call me really quick to let me know my order won't be fulfilled on time. Which I don't understand why it wasn't if online it said they had the phone in store. It's not hard to grab the phone from the back. read more

I am embarrassed to make this review but I feel like I need to. Today I came in to upgrade my phone. There were two women in the store,each helping someone. I was #1 on the waitlist. Once one lady was finished helping these two firemen, she proceeded to ask personal questions and give out her phone number to one of them and hugged both of them(took about 45min)She then went to the back and came out after 5 min then told the other lady she was clocking out. So now it was one lady having to deal with me along with the 6 other people who came in after me. 1 hour later another att worker walks in with this guy who his clearly his buddy and says"let me hook you up man" and then helps him and then starts chatting about his day with this girl. At this point I'm here for 2hrs, finally the girl is done with the people who came in before me, she gets me seated and proceeded to lock the door from the inside and comes back and tells me her manager told her she can close 2 hours earlier. I felt so bad for all the people behind me she sent away thinking they were going to get a message that it was their turn. So once she is done helping me she makes me wait inside for 5 min because there was a customer from earlier trying to get in. She said she got the okay from her manager to close the store 2 hours earlier even though they had 5 more people to help. Not only that, but I got home and I was wondering why my new iPhone said no SIM, it's because she inserted it upside down!! Also had to ask her to help me get my phone set up, which she gave me an attitude. Also refused to give me a bad so I had to carry my new iPhone in my purse.Worse customer service, inappropriate sale rep behavior conversation, and shady behavior!! Time for a switch. read more

Usually my visits at this atnt are just fine with no troubles, however this time we hit some snags. We walked in and it was instantly uncomfortable, all the associates were gathered around the door waiting to pounce (Apparently a slow day) they all said hello and we started walking toward the gentleman we wanted to help us (he has helped us before), when another associate quickly walked over in front of us and took us to a table to sit down. His name was Davion. I will try and keep this sort, but he was back talking us, asking us inappropriate questions as to why we were getting frustrated, he quoted us wrong prices, and didn't even go through our options. He made it very clear that we would not be getting the deals or prices we saw online. When we questioned him on why things seemed wrong his answers were very short and rude. After not buying anything, we left angry and confused. I came home and used the atnt online chat and it was so successful it made me laugh. The atnt online associate treated me like I would expect someone in stores to do. All answers were honest, quick to the point and didn't leave out any details. They said thank you, they were kind enough to use my name ect. Upon leaving the Whittwood location Davion sprang out of his chair to open the door for us, but at that point I couldn't decided if it was a nice gesture or just one asking us to get the F out already. Misleading and shady sales people. I would give negative 5 stars if I could. Worst At&t location you can find. We came here to grab a new LG smart phone and had been told by an AT&T associate that he will take care of the mail in rebate for me. So he photocopied my contract and said just wait for the rebate in the mail after 5 weeks. So I was using this phone when I realize it's not working for me because each time I answer the call it actually hung-up the call. I'm so mad with the phone I check the contract and the fine print in regards of the returns and exchange policy. What I didn't know, is that you have to tear or cut the proof of purchase from the actual box of the unit which the sales associate never did nor photocopied. Plus, I called in the customer service about the mail-in rebate that he said he'll took care of it, found out nothing was ever mailed and what he had done (photocopying the contract) is indeed invalid. WTF? Why did he said he will take care of it when he didn't in the first place and second, photocopied the contract? When he work their and knew well you have to cut out or tear the proof of purchase bar code in the box. So he wanted to screw my rebate plus once I pass 30 days I can't get out of the contract anymore without paying early termination fees of like what, about $200? What a freaking son of a b!tch. Good thing it was only in the second week when I found the flaws of that stupid phone, but damn i still paid $35 bucks for restocking fee for returning the useless phone. Now I know why we have seen a man arguing w/an associate saying their shady. They are! Shady people misleading customers. I wasted time and money doing business with this store, so don't even waste your time setting foot here- bad idea! They just better change the whole management cause it looked like everyone their got each other's back with alibis or just close it down. I live 5 mins away from Whitwood mall but we drive to At&t at Beach Blvd. and Imperial for when they do business it's not b.s. No misleading sales associates. Giselle the store manager provides the best customer service ever! She helped my fiancé during her struggle with her brand new phone and she went out of her way in making sure she did everything in her power in making sure my fiancé phone worked including getting us a new one. Even after we got it working she called me once again the next day to double check that it was functioning. Giselle and Ricardo the assistant manager will always be my go to for all AT&T needs! They actually made me switch from sprint now because of the service they provided. I hope they are commended by they're superiors or corporate. I will never leave AT&T. read more
