Update: 4/5 the nails are worth it.... The wait though. This is my second time coming to AT Nails. Both times I made pointless appointments. They saw me well after my time and they took people before me. The first time my nails were decent so I would say 3/5 for nails. But as for vibes. They clearly have preferred customers. When I spoke to the guy, which had taken my appointment time. I explained I had an appointment at 5:30pm he said "don't look at me" and proceeded to speak to the nail girl in their native language. Would only come back here on a pinch. People's times should be respected. read more

The man who (I think) owns the place is awful. Very inappropriate conversation topics, very rude, doesn't do a good job on nails, and (unintentionally) spit on me when he was doing my nails. I ended up leaving before he even painted my nails because I couldn't tolerate being around him anymore. Have never gone back and would not suggest that anyone go there. read more

This nail salon is SO underrated. The girls do such clean and fast work. The pricing also beats every other nail salon I've been too. This has been my regular nail salon for about 6 months now and i have yet to find better. If i ever venture out to try a different salon i regret it price wise, or quality wise, or something else will fall short, so i ALWAYS go back to this one. They pay close attention to what my preferences are and i am rarely disappointed. If i ever am, they correct it. No hassle. One time i was getting french nails and the guy that was doing them messed up...a lot. I said something and a new nail tech came over immediately and redid them ALL. And she did so good. I left happy . Another time i chipped a nail 2 days after getting them done and they were nice enough to fix it FOR FREE. This other time i actually broke a nail by getting it jammed in a door and it only cost me 4 bucks to have them fix it. Im telling u, these people are great. I know there's a lot of negative reviews but i think that may be because people usually only have something to say when they're unhappy. My wife and I had an appt for 1130 am. We got there at 1120. We were waiting until 1230. Didn't offer any discount or anything for waiting that long. An hour wait really??? I walked out. I don't know why they didn't offer anything to make it right but I won't be supporting anywhere that makes you wait that long. It was my first time going in and I loved how my nails turned out! The owner was nice and asked me to make sure she was doing the design correctly (found inspo pic from Pinterest). She accidentally clipped my cuticles a little too much which bled but not a huge deal for me. With COVID going on, it wasn't the cleanest place I wish they had the plastic barriers or something but maybe that's just personal preference. I'd go back again! read more

I had the $13 manicure and the lady told me to go up to the $27 gel. Now I see why their nail polish for the $13 is really poor quality. My normal salon uses OPI for their basic manicure at the same price and it covers perfect. Should not have to go up to $27 for a basic manicure read more

If i could review this zero stars, i would. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter and her 2 friends to have a manicure at the same time. They each had to wait for each other...should've told me they didn't actually have 3 appointments available. I dropped them off and found out they never cleaned any equipment between kids. The girls were completely grossed out. They said it was the most disgusting place ever. Oh, and add to that.... the nail polish chipped in the first day. Waste of money and GROSS. Do not go here. Not a good place to get acrylic nails done. The people they hire cannot draw even the simpliest designs. I asked for cheetah print and the women drew parentheses around a dot (not kidding). The owner even walked over and said it looked great.... really?? Ended up just going with plain color. read more

Very rarely write negative reviews but came in with a party of 3, waited our 40 minutes and we were STIlLL there over two hours (all only getting our hands done). Manicure was completely rushed while nail tech multi tasked between 3 clients. Got lotion/ a 10 second massage on ONE hand before the woman moved on to do someones eyebrows with no return. And best part, the tools were very obviously not sterile. Will obviously not be returning. read more

I guess I'm spoiled. I'm used to great service at Cedar nails in groton. I had a fair pedicure with horrible service. Will never return.

First time getting gel nails done for a wedding, the staff although busy was able to make my nails into a perfect stiletto point. Overall, it was a great experience the man that did my nails was knowledgeable and was very kind/understanding to my wishes. Definitely going to come back to get them done. read more

Awful place, rude owner! The worst place around Windham area. You need to stay away. Dirty tools, poor quality polish and unskilled owner who did my gel fill so my nail was 1/2 inch thick and looked like hobbit nails. AWFUL. Wish I could give 0 stars. Avoid this nail salon at all costs. No wonder the ratings are so low, wish I had done my research first. I get gel fills every other week and this is by far the worst manicure I've EVER gotten in my whole life. Nails were so sore and sloppy. Was so disappointed that I even rushed back after work that same day to ask for a refund. Manager was INCREDIBLY unprofessional, did not even offer to fix my nails for me, YELLED at me and told me my nail shape was somehow my own fault in front of her entire store with customers and walked away from me laughing telling me not to return as soon as I asked for a refund. Such a waste of $50 and time (it also took me nearly 2 hours to get a fill) Will never return and will warn my sorority, friends and family to find a new salon. read more

Let me start off by saying I used to love this nail shop, they had always done my nails great and have been super friendly. So I went in to get a gel fill like I always do, one of my nails was broken so I asked that she put on a whole new tip, she said no it's okay I'll just fix it and continued to cover it up with gel and just patch it up. Anyways the nails looked fine when I left but the very next day my nail popped off, exactly where it was broken before and the nail that I had asked her to completely take off and start new, and she refused. I wasn't doing anything for it to come off, I was simply taking clothes out of my dryer. I go back in the very next day to get it fixed and the lady who did my nails the day before called me to her booth & was EXTREMELY rude, she told me it was my fault the nail broke and I need to be more careful. The nail had broken exactly where it broke before. Had she just put a new tip on like I asked and not decide to take the fast easy route so she could take another person, it would not have broken. Anyways I was very upset that she was so rude and made it my fault that she was being lazy and didn't want to fix my nails the right way. She also charged me to fix the nail even though it was her fault and it hadn't even been 24 hours since she had done them. Very disappointed and I will not be spending another dime here. read more

HORRIBLE service and quality and totally ghetto atmosphere... I booked a 1:30PM appointment and was left to wait until almost 2:15... The woman who initially started to do my nails had obviously never done nails before or was in the process of being trained, but that was not explained to me... When I finally spoke up and said I needed to leave the shop soon to get on the road to New Haven, the owner told me that she was just getting my nails "started," but that the "real manicurist" would take care of me soon... By 2:35, the "real manicurist" started my nails... She didn't use a sufficient amount of the product and, within a week, 5 of the nails cracked and broke off... I should also mention that I was recuperating from surgery during that week, so it wasn't like I was using my nails a lot... They simply cracked and broke... I will NEVER go to this salon again...
