Love the store and shop here all the time for my casual wash-and-wear clothes. I recently bought the Trexxie pant and two Presidio Traveler dresses. Unfortunately, they came out of the dryer super wrinkled and even after steaming, they still looked like a crumpled mess. I called and spoke with McKenzie at the Morrisotwn store, who suggested I contact corporate for an exchange/store credit. Rachel, at corporate, who was lovely, directed me back to the store and connected me to Sydney, the manager. She also couldn't help with an exchange or credit. So, buyer beware: if you're okay with looking like you've been through a wind tunnel, you'll love these items. But if you shop at Athleta to avoid pressing with an iron, ( a steamer doesn't work) these might not be for you! read more

This location is my favorite Athleta to shop, they always have a great variety of sizes and new seasonal clothes. The staff is super helpful, they always take your shopping pile off your hands and placing it in a fitting room for you. The check up on you in the fitting room, but not in an annoying way, and offer to grab new sizes or colors for you. I love this Athleta location because they are very involved in the community and has also teamed up with and hosted complimentary yoga classes with my yoga studio in town. I've also been to this store before during a fundraiser and won a yoga mat so the manager is very generous! read more

During my visit today everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Getting me a fitting room and offering to check on sizes, etc. However the reason for my three star review is because of the signage on the fitting room mirror. The picture attached shows the message. Although it is a valid statement, it could not be further from encouraging. As someone who recently had two kids and is trying to get back to healthy, I'd love to see more messages about girl power instead of reminding someone that they're not going to be able to improve the appearance of her breasts. There are a lot of other empowering messages that could be displayed here instead. read more

Best Athleta I have been in! Great location and wonderful layout. I was visiting from Florida and exited to see they had such a large store up here. The staff were really helpful and it was easy to move between sections and find exactly what I was looking for. It was later in the morning so there wasn't an athletic class going on, but the ladies working told me what events they host and how the rearrange to fit people. I was impressed with their kindness to take the time to explain and commitment to each customer. We visit Morristown a few times a year and I'll definitely make it a point to wait and shop at this location. SO MUCH INVENTORY! Based on today's visit they had a lot of the cold weather gear which is harder to find down south as well. read more

Janine (apologies if I spelt that incorrectly), one of the Sales Associates, made my day at this store! I went in to return a couple of Altitude pants I ordered online that were too small, and Janine offered to hold them behind the counter for me while I shopped around a bit. She was so kind in gathering all the items I picked up to try on and set them in my dressing room. When I went to check out I mentioned that I was sad one of the pants I was returning was now sold out in my correct size online. Janine called not one store, but TWO to help me track down my size and helped me get them shipped to my house from a store in Virginia. She really did not have to go the extra mile, but she did anyway. It really brightened my day and I will definitely be returning. Thanks, Janine! read more

I have been a fan since it opened; I was first in line for their opening party and have had two non-profits I head up featured in the store. I had a pretty weird experience when I went inside and asked them to close the doors to the sidewalk when the air conditioning was on and they absolutely refused to do it. All their branding is about sustainability and now they are a certified B Corp with a legal responsibility to make choices that are good for the environment, but the manager told me it was corporate policy to blast the air conditioning on to the sidewalk. I stood outside until close with a sign talking about how many tons of Carbon Dioxide they were releasing into the atmosphere with this policy and they still refused to close the door. I have reached out to corporate and the store and the Gap brands in about 3 bazillion ways to see why they have this really dumb policy of working to make climate change worse, and haven't gotten a response. read more

Store is fine but never experienced being ignored in a store...I just spent the last 30 minutes in the store and tried multiple outfits on in the dressing room. Not one of the three staff members said hello to me or made any eye contact either. It looked like they went out of their way to ignore me. There was only one other person shopping in the store. Also I was dressed in athlete pants and an athleta long sleeve top so I would have expected better treatment. I will go to the Westfield store from now on. read more

Little surprised to see negative reviews about the staff. I have consistently found them to be kind, welcoming and having a good sense of humor. I have seen once or twice where they are catering almost exclusively to a shopper who you can tell is going to spend a lot of money, but I've never felt flat out ignored. Overall it's a lovely store and I always walk out with something great! Loved the fashion show they put on last fall. read more

I had a very bad experience a couple of weeks ago when I came to this Athleta Morristown location (it is close to my office location) to return a few things which I purchased on line. Since Athleta does nor provide paper receipts they implement a new policy to locate items and complete return using order number. I did not have any issues in other stores locations. Here they were resistant to do this asking for a bar codes which you need to dig from those multiple e-mail which Athleta sent you after you place an order. They were very rude to me when I argued that bar code is not required anymore, specifically, Shannon raised her voice and extended her hands towards me multiple times with a gesture of shutting me down. I was really shocked that this prestigious expensive store had such a rude staff. It is unacceptable and it is actually echoing the reviews that were posted a while ago stated that staff is rude...I would not give even a one star if it was an option. Never go there again even though the location is convenient for me. read more

I was very disappointed in the customer service here - the staff was unfriendly and seemed to have an attitude. Upon entering the store, no staff members welcomed us. Once I was ready for checkout, I was greeted with a giant attitude by one of the staff members. I had a coupon that I wanted to use, but the staff member insisted that their discount service was down and did not offer to take the discount off until we politely asked her to a few times. However, she made it extremely apparent that she did not appreciate the "burden" of taking off the discount manually. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience. read more

This store is nice. A decent selection without being so jammed with merchandise. Often they don't have sizes, but it can be ordered from the store kiosk without shipping charges. Do aske if there are sizes in the back room. Do not take them up on their offer to order from their hand-held units. This is the most inconvenient system that most times does not work. This is not exclusive to the Morristown location. It's hard to believe a better system is not in place. Sales staff is average. read more
