Trying to figure out where to start. Shaq (currently almost 4 years old, German Rottweiler) has been apart of K9 Boss since he was 10 weeks old; we got him from the breeder at 8 weeks. We knew that training and socializing was important I will not lie it was hard committing to advanced obedience training since it involved us leaving him for 4 weeks without any contact especially since we just brought him home. I am the type of person that examines every single detail when it comes to the things I hold close to my heart. Meaning it took me almost 8 months just to pick the right breeder with that being said took me even longer to find the best trainer. I met Craig about 3 times before committing to his program each visit I felt more and more comfortable and knew K9Boss was the right fit. Some things to point out is we wanted a bond with our training it was important not to just find someone that we could drop Shaq off, pay a fee and not ever see them again; K9 Boss is far from that Craig is family and he can't get rid of us even if he tried! Shaq is fully trained on and off leash with hand commands and protection training he is such an enjoyable dog its worth every dime spent. Craig is patient and knowledgeable not just in training but in dogs period. We attend Saturday tune up classes which allows Shaq to be around other dogs and trust me on Saturdays Shaq is waiting to see him. One thing I know is Shaq loves working with Craig it's a treat to him and it provides a better quality of life for Shaq. Craig takes his dogs and business seriously it shows just drive pass the facility and 9 out of 10 times you will find Craig outside working his dogs it doesn't matter if its 22 degrees, raining or sunshine that speaks volume to me he is out there. The dedication he has for the dogs is just remarkable. We also board Shaq with Craig because our jobs require 80% of travel but the comfort of knowing Shaq is in good hands helps a lot . I recommend K9 Boss and we are a true advocate for Craig. Shaq gets a lot of attention not only because he is a 140+lb Rottie but because of how well behaved he is... lol we show him off and very proud of the end product. Recommendations: invest in your fur baby/ies its worth it in the long run. Take advantage of the tune up classes, your dog is only as good as the handler. Make sure you stick to the same training that Craig shows you once your dog returns home. Most importantly ask questions Craig is an open book and I tend to pick his brain to better understand things about Shaq and his behavior. MAKE SURE I MEAN MAKE SURE you understand how to put your dog's slip collar on I will confess that Craig called me out in group class because I sometimes rush trying to make it to class on Saturdays and accidentally put the collar on wrong. Thanks to the outstanding obedience and protection training provided by Atlanta K9 Solution, a would be perpetuator attempted to break into my truck early Tuesday morning. The individual, unaware that Bella was in my vehicle, placed in hand through my window that was cracked so that she could receive air. To his surprise, once his hand made it inside, Bella went into protection mode and apparently grabbed his hand. After feeling her bite, he forcefully pulled his arm and hand out and in so doing broke my window's visor. I have been working with Craig and Darius for less than a year and the work that we have been doing collectively with Bella is, indeed, truly worth the investment of time and resources. On a very different know, Bella works with me in providing professional counseling, mental health support and therapy with individuals, couples, and families everyday. I took my 2 year old dog for behavioral modification. Craig spent a great deal of time prior to meeting my dog talking with me to get a full understanding of my concerns and helping me understand why my dog was starting to act aggressively. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgable. When I came for the consultation he worked one on one with my dog, demonstrated his training with one of his dogs and spent more time with me making sure I understood the process. When I picked my dog up after his stay I was so pleased with his progress. He obeyed commands immediately. On my first night home a dog that always demanded attention and would never stay when commanded, stayed in a down-stay position and slept all night next to my bed for the first time EVER. My German Shepard was trained here and today he was tested when I was having an argument with someone outside the front of my house he was in the backyard before I knew it my dog broke thru the wooded fence and was headed to protect and serve until I called out the down command he stopped in his tracks (thank god for the advance obedience from Atlanta K9 solutions) but still was ready to engage on a single word. Those guys really do a good job over there but just remember as good of a job they do in class and in private lessons you have to do the homework with your dog because the bond will help assist with the dog understanding what u want him to do read more

I have a 7 month old Belgian Malinois, and have been taking him to K9 Boss since he was 12 weeks old. They are amazing trainers that understand the relationship between owners and their pets. I was taught by K9 Boss how to have a better relationship with my Doberman. This was my 1st dog and I know without the training that we both received I wouldn't have what I do now in my dog. He understands voice commands, leash commands and hand signals. My dog is 9 years old now and still follows my lead. When you follow the training the benefits will last your pets life.
