After trying several bagel spots when visiting Jersey and left unhappy I stumbled onto Atlantic Bagel. I noticed in the kitchen (in back) that the bagels were made fresh on the premises (positive sign number one). Offering pretty much every variety of bagel to choose from (positive sign number 2). The staff of ladies behind the counter handled the crowds of customers with ease. I ordered a sesame bagel with cheese and well done bacon, my friends ordered everything bagel and one onion bagel with lox & cream cheese (it also had thin sliced red onion and mini capers). Offering seats for roughly 25 which include tables and a few window seats this place is a popular spot in NJ and I can see why....it gets 10 out of 10 from me. The bagels are amazing.

Who: Locals of Atlantic Highlands What: The best bagels around town. However, as a bagel connoisseur this isn't saying much. The crumb cake is AMAZING. When: The mornings can be a little crazy. If you have a big order you can call ahead for pick up. Where: Located on the cute main street. Be ready to parallel park. Why: Bagel carbs are the best kind.

Wow today I was served a porkroll egg and cheese but looks more like a egg with 2 tiny slivers of porkroll last 2 weeks ago was better. Inconsistent and the other sandwich was not what I ordered

Lox bagel with only cream cheese the way l like it!

Love this brunch place. For a span of several months last year, we had a recurring pattern where…read morewe would eat at Willow and Whisk, and while seated at our table enjoying our amazing food, we would make our next reservation to dine again at Willow and Whisk two months later. (Reservations are not that easy to make last minute.) The restaurant is big and open but always busy. Kids get wax craft sticks to play with and bend into cool shapes, which I find very unique and cool. I feel like there is a difference between a diner and a true brunch place. A diner, of which there are numerous in New Jersey, is a establishment that churns out inexpensive, and potentially excellent, but very standard breakfast food - omelettes, pancakes, benedicts and the like. A true brunch place, on the other hand, offers things like lemon ricotta pancakes, cacio e pepe scrambles, mushroom thyme omelettes and shakshuka. Willow & Whisk is that kind of brunch place, and which is rare in New Jersey. The food options are varied, very tasty, and with good portion sizes. I love the shakshuka and the mushroom thyme omelette. Oh gosh, when is our next reservation again?

We came here for brunch and overall had a good experience. The restaurant is on a corner with large…read morewindows, so there's plenty of natural light, making it a really nice place to relax or catch up with friends. The highlight was definitely the Stuffed French Toast. It looked beautiful, and I expected it to be overly sweet, but it was surprisingly well balanced. The toast was soft with a slightly crispy exterior, and the cream cheese filling paired really well with the strawberry compote. We also ordered the BLT+. The smoked bacon was delicious, but the focaccia was a little too thin and hard, making it harder to eat than I expected. The house-made sausage was good, just not particularly memorable. As for the coffee, it was probably the most disappointing part of the meal. The latte wasn't very smooth, and the cold brew had a slight off taste. They were both drinkable, just not something I'd order again. Overall, I'd recommend this place for the food and the atmosphere, especially if you're interested in the French toast. There's also parking behind the restaurant, which makes visiting easy.

My friends and I had the hardest time deciding what to eat because EVERYTHING looked AMAZING. Ultimately, I ordered a shared Croffle Flight, Corn Beef Hash, and Rainbow Cookie Dot Latte and as expected, they were absolutely delicious. (I completely forgot to get a picture of my corn beef hash because I dove right in ). It is such a fun, unique idea! Our waitress and the manager checked in with us multiple times and were attentive to whatever we needed. Tatum runs a wonderfully established business with no exceptions to excellence. One thing that caught us off guard was the air freshener placed on the windowsill near our table. We actually asked to move because the scent was pretty noticeable. Personally, when I'm dining out, I want to smell the food--not a bathroom-style air freshener. It seemed a little out of place in an otherwise pleasant dining environment. That said, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely worth the visit. Our meal took a little while to arrive, but everything came out fresh and delicious. The corned beef hash was cooked perfectly and topped with beautifully poached eggs. My husband ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Benedict and thoroughly enjoyed it. To finish our breakfast, we shared the pancake flight, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Despite the air freshener issue, the quality of the food will definitely bring us back. Next time, I have my eye on the mac and cheese flight!
