This service makes me never want to buy a Honda again. My Honda Prologue has been in service THREE times for the same issue. They never call me when it is ready or call 5 minutes before closing. It has been determined that my car is a lemon and they are trying to sell me a new car instead of trying to rectify the issue. Absolutely horrible experience. The first time we used Atlantic Honda service the experience was fantastic. Constant service advisor attention, relatively quick shop time and friendly staff. Today was an absolute disaster. We showed up to a 10:00 appointment I made in advance online for an oil change, inspection and diagnosis of some suspension issues. Immediately from walking in Kris Hernandez had an attitude with us. After approving the diagnosis work and service we were left with no update or work on the car for 4 hours. Kris never left her desk in that time to check on us or anyone else. They have a text line for updates except they only respond when they want to. After 5 hours of waiting we finally knew what was going on with the car and not everything was even done. When I said to Kris that no other Honda dealership acts like this she responded with a snobby "I'm pretty sure they do" well, I'm pretty sure they don't as I've used both Advantage Honda in Smithtown and Mariano Rivera Honda in Port Jeff Station and neither one ran like this. Please for your own good use either of those dealers. We are currently 5 hours into this and I'm DONE. The salesperson did not want to tell us the price we would be paying for the car. Just the monthly payments. We thanked them and used a different service. In the end, the difference was huge. On 12/27/24, I agreed to purchase a 2025 CRV Hybrid Sport Touring model from your dealership under specific terms, which were outlined during our discussions and agreed upon by both parties. However, I was disappointed to discover that these agreed-upon terms were not honored at the time of sale.     1.   The final agreed upon price was reneged when final purchase order was presented to us.     2.   When confronted about change in agreed upon price, sales manager stated "life isn't fair". I financed a 2016 Certified Nissan Versa with 77,000 miles in January 2024 for $12,000. Within two months, I had to replace the headlights, costing me $150. Eight months in, the transmission failed due to a rusted transmission line. While the warranty covered the transmission, it did not cover the line, leaving me with a $500 repair bill. Now, ten months later, the muffler detached from the exhaust due to severe corrosion. Although the dealership covered this $400 repair, which I do appreciate, I am absolutely certain that the level of corrosion on both the transmission line and muffler/exhaust did not develop in the 10 months I've owned the car. In addition, the listing said it had Bluetooth which it does not and also the remote start barely works. I also just looked at the car fax report and it states that the car is now worth only about $6,500... This leads me to believe the dealership either failed to properly inspect the vehicle before certifying it for sale or ignored existing issues. When I expressed my intent to pursue legal action, the Used Car Sales Manager dismissed my concerns, saying, "We are a big company with lawyers; it'll be a waste of money for you." I strongly discourage anyone from buying a used or new vehicle from this dealership. While they may have fake positive reviews on some sites, the real reviews reveal consistent issues with their practices. If you decide to consider a vehicle from here, bring your own trusted mechanic to inspect it thoroughly and ensure you purchase an extended warranty. We had an appointment for an emissions inspection five months in advance. And they spammed us with texts to remind us. Two weeks before, text. One week before, text. Day of, text. They really wanted to make sure we weren't wasting their time. We waited 80 minutes after our appointment for an emissions inspection. Come to find that they hadn't even looked at our car yet. 80 minutes. They hadn't even looked at our car. The whole thing took two hours for the emissions inspection to be completed. $37. Worst dealership ever. My family has bought two Honda's from this dealership and looking to buy a third, but not from here! My passenger side mirror needed to be re-aimed and I made the appointment with Atlantic. I was told it would take over two hours and approx $350. Why so expensive?  As I was told, they have "special" equipment for aiming the camera.  Upon a simple YouTube search, the "special equipment" is a white piece of paper with six dots on it.  I re-aimed my own mirror at no cost and it took 5 mins.  When I called customer service and calmly explained my disappointment, the young lady's response was "ok."   Ok?  I guess I should have expected as much from this blatantly fraudulent business that is solely interested in bilking money from unsuspecting loyal customers.  Done. I had originally written a great review but now I'm recanting it. Everything was okay until we got paperwork regarding our payments. We were told we could make bi-monthly payments to reduce the interest we pay on our principal, thus shortening the term of our loan. Now, we learned from Honda financial that they do not allow bi-monthly payments at all. Essentially Paywise collects your money and sends it to Honda in one big payment. So they basically lied to our faces. They even showed a fake simulator which we now know is a scam. My husband has tried calling the dealership multiple times and shocker no one is returning the phone call. I'm very unhappy with how we're being treated. Think twice before you come here, unfortunately we were fooled. Very sad. read more

On 10/26/2021 I purchased a replacement mirror for my car with Nicholas Frank at Atlantic Honda for $510.53 before labor costs. Upon leaving, a friend told me I could buy the same part on Amazon for $40. I immediately contacted Nick and asked for a refund, and after playing phone tag for months, he agreed to refund me, minus a $100 restocking fee. I went to collect the refund of $408.42 on 4/7/2022 and despite having a receipt for this refund transaction, there has been no deposit to any of my accounts or cards as of today 5/26/2022. The last 8 months of trying to resolve this issue with them has been an absolute nightmare and I will NEVER go to or recommend this dealership to anyone after this is over. read more

I purchased a very high priced Honda crosstour 40000.00 dollars. Within 2 years the paint cracked and peeled. The dealer had the car painted at their premium shop. The place painted over the peeling paint. Two years later the paint is peeling again and under the peeling paint the car is rusty. Atlantic honda has fused to correct the problem. I tried everything Honda does not stand by their cars. Do not buy a Honda or you will have this problem too. Atlantic honda and honda America are in complete denial about their horrible quality cars. If I could give 0 stars i would. I went in for a NYS inspection. The first 45 minutes no one tells me I had to hand in the paper so stuck waiting for no reason. Following that the sales advisor tells me my car should be ready soon and that the only issue was a tire being low on tread (front passenger side) but will still pass. Another hour goes by and all of sudden my car will fail the inspection unless I buy another tire (front driver side). Overall spent 4 hours with my time wasted and getting scammed by these scumbags. I am deeply unsatisfied with the service at Atlantic Honda. I called on Tuesday May 11th to schedule an appointment for a recalled part on my Fit. I called and made an appointment for 7:30AM that coming Saturday, which was confirmed via text message later in the week. I arrived Saturday to find myself the sixth in line, my "appointment" did not matter and they would get to me when they could. I knew from previous experience at Atlantic Honda that I could be waiting some time for service, so I checked in with Stanley and sat to wait for my ride. After a few minutes, Stanley entered to tell me that they had not ordered the part for my vehicle. Why, if I called four days prior expressing my need for an appointment that they would not order the part? I wish I knew who I spoke with that day. I also don't understand that if a vehicle from the dealership has a recall, why they wouldn't have some of the necessary parts on hand. Stanley ordered the part and told me it would arrive that Tuesday, a week after I had made the first phone call. Fine. I asked Stanley if he would call me when thr part was in, he said yes, but by 3pm Tuesday I hadn't heard from him. I had to call the service desk twice and wait several minutes to finally speak to a mechanic who told me the part was in. I dropped off my car that night for an appointment the next morning. I left my keys in a bright purple envelope in the key drop with my name, phone number, license plate number and model and I received a call the next morning from a confused associate Kris who did not know why my car was there. I did not understand why she couldn't just type my name in the computer to find out. I explained the situation and she told me my car was already being worked on. She called me about an hour later to say that upon inspection I needed a brake job and an air filter replacement that all told would cost me upwards of $200. I understand inquiring about the brake job, but if I had a dirty air filter that could have been replaced as a courtesy, especially after all of the waiting, miscommunication, and the fact that the part only cost about $10. I had to call that afternoon to make sure that my car was finished, nobody had bothered to let me know. My car was done and I picked it up around 2 p.m. I started looking by myself in the lot and then asked one of the mechanics if I could walk through the day to see if my car was in the back, to which he barked at a sleepy valet to get the car for me. This is the second time I have had service at Atlantic Honda. I have had no problems with Atlantic Honda sales but the service is beyond subpar and I would not recommend them to anybody. read more

Well after 3 months of having the car, the one thing I wish I did was not go to this dealership in the first place. Within 2 months of owning this car, the transmission died on me and had to have it replaced. Waited a bit over a week for it to be done. Get the car back and it jerks whenever I accelerate. Contacted corporate Honda and was told to speak to the sales manager. After waiting 3 hours for the sales manager to call me back, I decided to drive there myself and speak to them. One of the certified pre-owned sales managers, Larry Ellis, disregarded practically everything I had to say and eventually refused to speak in the situation. Beware the words, "We'll take care of that." Make sure you get specifically in writing what they mean. Because when you get your price on the car, they'll say it was already factored in the deal. Example - If you don't re-lease the same make of car (Subaru) you are currently leasing, you have to pay a fee ($500) to turn the car back to Subaru. I was told by the Atlantic Honda salesman, "We'll take care of that." Guess who's taking care of it? Fast double talkers. Alright so I went in looking for a 23 crv in all black a week before thanksgiving. Had none in black in stock, told me I'll get a call last week of the month when deliveries come in. Its now Dec 1, and I had to call my sales rep to ask if they came in. Got me to come in just to tell me the black crv I wanted was just sold, wth. Flag 1. Purchased 2 cars and 1 of them had "extra keys" included for an extra 600$. When I brought this up, I was told it was included in the price. Weird because my mom's didn't have this charge or included. Bought 2 crv's and what I got "included" is replacement keys. Wife went to acura, bought a rdx and a mdx, left with all weather car mats FOR BOTH. Well, moms car only had 1 key on purchase, which is weird also, where the hell did the second key go? Lol. After being promised that I'd receive it in a week, a month and a half later, still no key. Told my sales rep about the key to see the status, threw me for a loop when he told me this was the first time he heard about the key. Whats the joke here. Swore I was in good hands. No incentives here, they just try to make it feel like they went above and beyond. Came back to align the car, and had to come back twice because they aligned the car as a completely different model. The professionalism in this place is lacking. I had to come back and waste another 2 hours for the car to get aligned. After sharing my frustration with kasandra the service advisor, she got upset after I told her about the online coupon telling me I needed to present it before hand. I told the manager all this and the fact that I will share my experience because they walk all over people that don't know anything about cars, she got mad at me and told me karmas a bitch. The professionalism is absolutely freshmen high school level. If you need any further convincing to stay away, check their bbb page.
