But, by far the table favorite was the Maple Ponzu Burnt Ends, and Brussel Sprouts. Thier sprouts are so amazing and flavorful. If you like them definitely order them here. The stars of the night was the Chilean Sea Bass, Prime Rib, and Grilled Bison, Tenderloin. The herb crusted chicken and T-Bone were not as flavorful as the other dishes. The only draw back to this restaurant that I can see is price. It might be slightly higher than other steakhouses in the area. However, the service, flavors, and quality of food are stellar. The ambiance is romantic and upscale. The restaurant is located upstairs. Away from the casino floor. Once you will be whisked away. You will forget that you are in a Casino. For me this is the best steakhouse in town. It's always best to get a reservation, although you might get a seat for a couple at the bar. It has a full menu. I love the aquarium in the entrance and the dimmer lightning. Always ask about the specials for that day. read more

Had a Christmas Party - apps & drinks in the penthouse and then dinner in the steakhouse for a party of 20. We also were fortunate enough to book rooms for the evening. The penthouse suite was gorgeous and that view was something special. I ordered shrimp and bacon wrapped scallops (OMG!) the charcuterie tray was like nothing I've seen before and I'm so upset I didn't get a picture! I was just so in the moment of having a good time. Dinner for 20 in the middle of the steakhouse was quite chaotic in the beginning. The table was quite tight and it's good we all liked each other. The entrees chosen were Filet (like butter) chicken, and salmon. The service was spectacular in the penthouse and beyond really. I cannot believe one man was able to keep us in drinks and get our food out to us so quickly. 3 hours went by in an instant. This is a once in a year experience. Yesterday, I made a HUGE wager on the Super Bowl ($5.00). We then went upstairs for the steakhouse supper. I had the chef's special which was a Wagyu steak. I didn't ask the price, because who does? It was a bit high ($160). Was it worth it? Well, yes and no. We had 3 wait staff, limited seating, a nice spinach salad prepared table side we had a wonderful crème brûlée for dessert. I think that they could have rounded down to about $100 for the steak and still made a profit. The good news is that I have leftovers for supper tonight. read more

In the past, I've had good experiences at Atlantis, but dinner at the steakhouse was really disappointing. I was hosting friends and wanted a nice night out - service was friendly, but the food missed the mark badly. I ordered the aged ribeye, rare, and it came out medium-well. If you order a $100 steak, it needs to be cooked somewhat close to how you ordered it. After the first bite, I knew it needed sent back, which I'm honestly super hesitant to do. Who knows what they do to your food when you send it back? However, no one checked on us until my friends were nearly finished eating. When they finally did, I sent it back and asked that it be removed from the bill. They did that, which I appreciated, but it meant I basically didn't have dinner while paying close to $500. Okay, things happen. There wasn't even an apology or any gesture to make things right. My friends' steaks were also inconsistently cooked and tougher than expected, though one friend with the rare filet said theirs was good. I believe you should always reach out directly to an establishment when there's an issue - and I did. Unfortunately, I never received a response, which makes this experience even more disappointing. For a high-end steakhouse at a resort like Atlantis, I expected better quality and a bit more care in making things right. I hope management takes a closer look -- the service team was kind, but the kitchen and follow-up both fell short. read more

The side salad and sides were delicious, well-seasoned, and savory. I ordered the Dry Aged New York strip but it seemed it was undercooked (more on the rare side), dry, and a bit tough. The restaurant was beautiful from the checkin point to the dining area. Our server was Brad and he had a great sense of humor which you need when I'm out with certain people. He explained the menu and the cocktails/wines etc. the food presentation was artistic and first thing I WANTED to do was take a pic. We went to this steakhouse for a company party, and the service was exquisite! This was my first time here, and in addition, it was probably one of the best steakhouses I've been to locally at this tier. I personally got the 8 oz wagyu filet mignon and the meat was so tender and juicy, and the bone marrow complimented it perfectly. I had their old fashioned, and it was also delicious. For starters and enders, you get a nice, warm wash cloth. Bread was served warm and fresh, appetizer to clean the palate. The Chateau St Michelle Eroica reisling was very refreshing and light. House salad with bleu cheese on the side was very nice and the presentation clean and fancy. I ordered the salmon, blackened. Cooked with perfection, very tender, melt in your mouth. The ambiance and decor were so pretty to look at. You come into the space, and there's a huge cylinder aquarium with fishes inside! So cool! The food was superb and everything was plated nicely! By far the top steakhouse in Reno, pricey but worth it as you are spoiled from the moment you are greeted by long-time Matre' D Ali. The steaks, chops and seafood are all sourced from the best. Make sure you choose table-side cooking whether it be a Caesar Salad, Steak Diane, flaming desserts, etc. Starting with the warm bread/rolls, everything is as it should be for a memorable evening of great food and great service. I've eaten there more than 30 times and never had a bad meal. If you're planning a special occasion let them know and they will accommodate anything you need. (Steak Tartare isn't on the menu but available if you call ahead) And every diner leaves with a parting gift of homemade crumb cake to accompany your coffee the next morning. Took my parents and family out to eat a good meal with excellent service. Atlantis Steakhouse has never let me down in multiple trips. The soup to start was some kind of mushroom cream soup. Logan, our server, recommended it so most of us ordered the soup. Unfortunately, my kids are picky eaters, but my daughter at least said she would try it. BOTH MY KIDS LOVED IT. I was so surprised because my son is very picky. My mom and wife ordered the Blackened King Salmon and everyone else ordered the Prime Rib. They split my kids prime rib order into 2 orders which is always awesome because there no hassle involved and 2 8oz prime ribs with mash potatoes and asparagus are perfect for them. Everyone was very happy with what they ordered and none of our plates had any food left. Absolutely delicious all the way around. I also ordered a table side ice cream (I don't think it's a regular item) just because I wanted to see how they were going to make ice cream so quickly in front of me. My kids enjoyed that experience seeing the liquid nitrogen turn the ice cream base into a very delicious dessert. If you're headed over there ask to be served by LOGAN and HANNAH. We were served by Logan on a previous trip. He has incredible attention to detail and his level of service is top notch. Hannah was great making sure our drinks were full and that we were taken care of throughout the entire meal. Dining here is not just having a dinner, it also includes a show. Easily one of my favorite places in Reno. The service is always impeccable. I'm not usually a fan of tableside cooking but at Atlantis Steakhouse they have it down to an artform. I ordered Steak Diane and it was amazing. Watching the steak being cooked to perfection was a highlight of the dinner. We ended the meal with tableside Cafe Diablo. My first time having it and it won't be my last. Had a great dinner at the Atlantis Steakhouse. A few minor missteps kept it from being it among the very best of meals I've had but on the whole it was very, very good. This is a classic Vegas/Reno steakhouse with big overpriced aged beef and ala carte sides. But they do have some nice touches that elevate above the rest and earn their spot on Trip Advisor's top 10 lists. Among those touches are some elaborate cocktails, tableside preparations of starters, entrees and desserts. There's a starter amuse bouche that I don't even recall what it was but it was tasty. (See pic). I skipped the much desired, and pricey ($25) Campfire Song cocktail (basically an alcoholic s'more) in favor of an inexpensive Malbec which paired well with the beef that followed. I figured I could have the Campfire in lieu of dessert but I had no room to spare by the end. Bread is presented with some lovely butter and Hawaiian salt which proved to be a surprise highlight. (But let's use a proper shaker instead of a spoon please) Many entrees come with soup du jour (that night was tomato bisque - skip) or an elaborately presented cucumber house salad. I chose the salad with blue cheese. It was beautifully presented but the dressing was a bit thin. As for the entree, I was torn. I had explored the menu beforehand and had narrowed the choices to the Mishima 8+ strip (12 oz) or the bone-in ribeye (the 22 oz NOT the 36 oz cowboy). It's a bit odd and disappointing that they don't have some smaller cuts - other than filets. I really don't need or want 22 oz anymore. In my younger days maybe, but not now. If I had a microwave in my hotel maybe I would have welcomed the leftovers more. I did eat some cold meat and potatoes for breakfast though. The potato was also a ridiculous size. I knew it ahead of time, but I needed something and the loaded baked potato is the classic choice. I ended up eating maybe 1/4th of it. Yes, if you're sharing it's a better choice. But show some love for us solo, traveling foodies. The steak came with roasted garlic, a splash of potato puree, a bone with some marrow and a spoon full of button mushrooms. The mushrooms were a real shortcoming. The sauce that came with was really not up to the rest. It's an oddity too since an available side is Madiera mushrooms. The steak itself was perfectly cooked medium rare and a bang up mix of beef and fat. I almost asked for some sauce Bernaise but it would have been fat overload. (I just love Bernaise). As I progressed into the meal, the meat sweats came with. I chewed through most of the beef but left far too much potato for later. It was delicious, well seasoned and charred. Among the top 5 best steaks I've had. In a pantheon with A5 wagyu from Craftsteak in Vegas, the Fantastic filet from Charley's in Orlando, and ribeyes from Charlie Palmer's and Del Frisco's, both in D.C. As noted, I had no room for dessert or the cocktail I wanted for dessert. The list was a little unremarkable and I was certain they would be huge portions. I did note the very expensive Remy Martin Cognac Grande Champagne. With keepsake glasses for $650, I had to pass... hard. Service was very good, but fell short of the best. The host at the front desk and waiter's assistant were both supremely charming. It was fun to watch other tables get tableside Shrimp Scampi or Steak Diane. I was happy to go solo on that count. The place is well decorated too with the fish tank as a highlight in the entry hall. Atlantis probably is the best option in Reno for high end dining. I surveyed many other steakhouse menus and they seemed to offer less for more. It was a great dinner, and only my tiny nitpicks were of concern. Well deserved 4.8 rounds to 5. read more

Had a last delicious and fun dinner outing before the start of the new school year. It was DELICIOUS and I will be back. Manoj was helping our waiter and was her on top of the service! He kept up on refills, checking on us and made sure to take away any plates not needed.
