Update: Hubby's birthday dinner at Churrasco's was a success. Christine was our server, she was very friendly (welcomed us back) and helpful. All staff working Thursday evening were very attentive and brought back more Medium well/well cooked meats for my daughter which I appreciated. She's picky as it is. All kids ate very well and glad they ate more protein than carbs. I was glad hubby wanted to have his birthday dinner here. I was in picanha and perfectly cooked sirloin heaven. I stayed away from the bar and only ate the grilled meats. Christine brought us garlic mashed potatoes, polenta and the plantains. Our kids didn't even want to touch the bread, but they managed to save room for dessert. No shock there, but I told them they're missing out. I was bummed the kids shared with me on the way home that they found a long dark hair in their garlic mashed potato plate and that's why they didn't eat it. This had been the only mishap here. Overall, it was still a nice birthday dinner celebration. Thanks to everyone serving us meats and to Christine; You were all great.

Churrasco is a fun spot to grab a nice dinner. We stopped in on a weeknight at opening so it wasn't too busy yet. The majority of the meal was delicious and the service kept the pace moving well. There were a couple of small misses as a few of the cuts came out a little dry. It would also be nice to have a seafood option in the rotation to break things up. That being said, it is definitely a great spot if you're looking for a novel steakhouse experience with a good bar and good food.

Waiting to get seated excited first time here

I came here from my grandson's birthday party and I for one was so amazed at the ambiance and the salad bar was absolutely wonderful. So many choices but don't fill up on that because there is meat on the way and lots of it cooked to perfection. The service was so so good. They just take care of you so well here. Nobody leaves hungry. You get everything cooked just the way you like it and I just loved it. They treated my grandson very special. It was his birthday and we all had a great time. Please come and try this steakhouse. It is absolutely spectacular. What a great experience. I'll definitely be back here

We came with a party of eight and left feeling like a roly-poly. There are two options. First, the Marketplace Buffet is an all-you-can-eat cold and hot salad bar. Second, the Marketplace Buffet and all-you-can-eat meat, which includes beef, chicken, pork, and lamb (17 cuts of meat). This time around, my favorites were the cheesy au gratin potatoes, bacon-wrapped fillet, parmesan-crusted pork, and pork ribs. The potatoes were the stuff dreams are made of. The filet was so flavorful and made my mouth water. The pork with the salty Parmesan made the pork so delectable and tender. Not to mention, the ribs were falling off the bone. They were a tad too spicy for me. But, oh so yummy. I had two ribs. I paced myself better this time. I only had two of the cheese breads. The mashed potatoes, cheese bread, and deep-fried polenta are a part of the meal and are placed on the table. The Gauchos made sure to ask us what we wanted more of. Then they made sure the correct Gaucho was aware. Hence, we got exactly what we wanted and had little waiting. There were a lot more medium-rare offerings this time around. However, I didn't get a picture of them. For dessert, I got some fresh fruit from the salad bar. The cantaloupe had been flavored with a sweet lime syrup. This made the cantaloupe even more delicious. Fresh pineapple is always a great way to end a meal as it helps with digestion. I cannot eat enough to make coming here worth it. But we did have several in our party who could. Our waitress made sure to keep up with our drinks. She checked if we needed clean plates. We came to celebrate a birthday. I forgot to take a picture of the birthday boy's complimentary dessert.

Churrasco benefits being in its own category in Reno having a little bit of a monopoly as the only Brazilian steakhouse, but it is good at what it does and provides amazing service. Word of warning, it has easily outgrown its venue and I would recommend having a reservation as it can be quite busy and has a small waiting area so you could be stuck waiting outside during winter months. The parking situation can be a little tricky and the garage enterance is located on the other side of the building, though a lot of locals park in the immediate next door church parking lot whether they're supposed to or not, especially when service is not in session. The dining area is a bit compact in the lower level and an upper level best for larger parties, a small bar, and a buffet bar in the center. The staff is first class and attentive, you wont't go long without water or sparkling water, and they have a great drink menu available. All of the food is all you can eat and served as-is. It's best to grab two plates when you head to the buffet bar, one to fill up with all of your sides, and the other to bring back to the table for the all the meat that is headed your way. You then have a token on the table sided red or green that shows the staff walking around with amazing cuts of meat whether you want more as you'll be offered filet mignon, garlic steak, top sirloin, chicken, lamb, and so on... But it is constantly flowing and your plate can fill up faster than you can eat so you can flip your token to red to catch up at your leisure. The food is delicious and aggressively seasoned with great flavor, and the buffet bar has an excellent assortment of sides and sauces to compliment your meat choices. The meats are cooked how they're cooked for everyone so there isn't any customization but if you don't like one, or if you get a particular piece that's fatty or disappointing, there are certainly others you will like or more chances at it as the meat is constantly revolving and coming out of the kitchen. Overall, a great experience, but not a cheap affair as it is $65.50 per person for dinner just to start plus taxes, drinks, and gratuity; but as with any buffet, it is up to you what you get out of it, and given the amounts of meat and steak you get there is certainly value for those that can east their fair share, or a disabling night for those who overdo it... I had a pleasant dinner and will certainly return in the future, at least.

My first plate: meatball, chicken stroganoff, mushroom risotto, antipasto, crab salad & chimichurri.

My sister, her family and I went to Churrasco Brazilian Steakhouse to celebrate my nephew's 20th birthday. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was a couple ahead of us in line but otherwise, the restaurant was still empty. Once seated though, a large party came in after us followed by a few smaller parties. As usual, our server greeted us but since he knew we've been there before, he dropped off the complimentary bread basket, garlic mashed potatoes, the fried polenta and cinnamon-sugar bananas, dispensed with the formalities and let us make our way towards the market table. The market table had the usual varieties of antipasto, fresh salads and fruits plus a selection of hot dishes like the mushroom risotto and the chicken stroganoff. After a few minutes, the gauchos started bringing the meat selections out like sausages, bacon wrapped chicken, Parmesan seasoned pork, the garlic steak (my favorite), the sirloin,!barbecue ribs, leg of lamb and of course the house special: picanha. All the food was delicious, the gauchos were very attentive and were nice. Everyone ate their fill and eventually had to throw in the towel but we all had a good time and an excellent dining experience.

I was lucky enough to have my mom visit me for her 75th birthday and a momentous occasion calls for a beautiful meal with fabulous friends, and Churrasco was the pick again! Our party of 10 came in for a 6 o'clock reservation. We were promptly greeted and seated, and our sweet and lovely and friendly server explained how everything worked to the diners who had never been before. The market bar was well stocked with all of the delicious sides, sauces, salads, and alternative main courses. I went for my usual selection of sauces, including the signature vinaigrette, chimichurri and garlic oil as well as the spicy pickled Brazilian peppers. I then proceeded down the cold salad line and secured the delightful chicken salad and fresh ceviche as well as their sweet pickled cucumbers, which are so great and crunchy even though they're so thinly sliced then around the other side to the hot bar where I always get a bit of the fejoada, a Brazilian black bean stew. With my salad plate set I went back to the table and the meats began flowing. I enjoyed bacon wrapped chicken, garlic, steak, Brazilian sausage, sausages, top sirloin, and several other cuts, but most of them were a bit overcooked or undercooked on this night and it was kind of disappointing and hard to find what you wanted during the meal. We specially requested the lamb chops and they came to the table on three occasions overcooked which was very disappointing and it's the temperature of the meats on this night that is causing me to lower my rating from 5 to 4. The restaurant is beautiful and the market bar is well appointed and delicious and the service is always really friendly and helpful. This place remains high on my list and I just hope the kitchen can produce a bit more of the range of doneness for the guests preference.

I have already reviewed Churrasco before, I just wanted to say what an amazing job they did last night for Thanksgiving. I had reservations for my party of 4, and we were seated right away. There were a lot of people waiting to be seated at the door, they were very busy! Service was excellent as usual. Last night they even had a special little table set up with Thanksgiving food, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing and turkey! Once we visited the market table, the gauchos came by with all the meats. Even though the restaurant was the busiest I've ever seen it, they did such a great job coming around feeding us all. The restaurant is spacious enough that even when at full capacity, it didn't feel crowded. It was an excellent Thanksgiving for my family and I. Thank you Churrasco for the food, hospitality and doing the dishes!

My bestie was visiting me after not seeing eachother for two years! She asked for a new place to try since the last time she was here, so we decided on this YUMMY spot! They weren't crowded, the food was delicious, the service was AH-MAY-ZING; we will definitely be back. Thank you to the server, the waiters bringing around the delicious meats. Oh, the mushroom risotto was my favorite side

I should have taken more pictures!! This is a great date night spot or just a nice place to splurge! We had reservations and were quickly seated. In the middle of the dining area there's a bar with all sorts of yummy side options to pick from. I made the mistake of loading up on too many sides!! Once you head back to your table, you will turn over the "button" at your table and that lets the staff know you're ready for the meats! Sssoo many options, they give you small portions to try. You can get chicken, pork, and beef. My favorite was the rib eye. I really enjoyed the taste of everything but just be ready to eat! We had tres leches cake for dessert... amazing! Super nice spot, go check them out!

During our many visits to Reno we have walked or driven by the location plenty of times. And decided it was time to visit once we checked into our room. Once we called to see if reservations were needed or not. We made the choice to do the 15 minutes walk there. Once arrived we were asked if there were reservations and then we were seated and explained how the dining experience here worked. Most of the dinner was served in the walk up food bar and the meat was presented to your table by the gentlemen that cut the slices for you. In the table you have little paper chips that are Red on one side and Green on the other, informing if you would like More meat. The presentation of the food was really nice, and everything was delicious and satisfying around the food. For the most part the staff was friendly. Some table received for more attention than others. As we were finishing up our dinner I felt that's when we had more attention to detail at our table, including what seemed to be the manager on duty that night, finally speaking to us. During our initial exit majority of the staff "thanked " us for our visit. For the food experience, we would visit again. .

My wife surprised me with a late birthday brunch at Churrasco's Reno location. This was a first for us. Christine greeted us immediately and explained how the buffet and meat selections worked. Very nice and friendly demeanor. We stepped up and began with plating salads, side dishes and cold cuts. Selections too numerous to mention. Every selection I tried I really enjoyed. As soon as we were seated the goucho meat server came and offered roasted leg of lamb, followed by many more meat options to follow. Needles to say, we left quite full , but like most buffet type experiences I have learned to stop be discomfort from being to stuffed. To top off the meal I had a Cafe Americano accompanied by a complimentary chocolate caramel pecan cheese cake. The dining room is very elegantly appointed and new table cloths provided at each table turn. A very good dining experience.

Dessert is extra! All the selections are delicious, but I usually just get fresh fruit from the buffet. The Mango Salad is awesome...

Does Churrasco steakhouse validate parking if you park in the adjacent garage?

Yes! Your waitress or the host will give you the code to put in, to validate the parking.

What are the updated prices for adults and children?

Is the dinner menu only all you can eat, or, are there entrée dishes?

It is about $55 per per son, huge salad bar with a lot of variety. It is Brazilian steakhouse, they come around the whole time you are there with a variety of meats on skewers, where they carve out slices for you. It was good. Make sure you…

What meats are not offered during lunch?

The same as offered at dinner

Is the salad bar included with all you can eat steak?

Yes the salad bar is included in the price of the all you can eat meat. The drinks and desserts cost extra as those are not included in the price of the all you can eat meat and salad bar.

    What's the cost for dinner?

When we went, it was $55 per adult, and that doesn't count drinks, including nonalcoholic, or dessert. For 10 of us, two toddlers who we weren't charged for, and a seven year old who got kid pricing, I can't remember how much it was for kid pricing,…

I would say yes. Lot's of salad and grilled veggie stuff.

Is this place all you can eat too?

Yes it is and it's delicious!!

Is there's difference between the lunch and dinner menu (steak wise)?

My understanding is that the lunch and dinner menu differs in the choices of meat circulating. You can look at the menus on their website.

Is the dessert extra or is include?

Extra but they are delicious. We normally take ours to go and enjoy at home together watching a movie or on the back deck ♥️

Is it difficult to get a reservation? We're from out of town for our daughters birthday and she really wants to go but we don't want to count on it if it is difficult.

Depending on what day and time you are reserving for, but they are easy to book.

    Is the restaurant kid/family friendly?

I would say that all depends on the kids. It is a higher end restaurant, the staff and Goucho’s are so friendly and love to interact with you. Depending on how picky the children are about food I don’t know how kid friendly the food is. For me I…

    Are there chicken hearts?

Not that I've seen. I'll ask for some the next time we go.

I went in big like a starving hostage and ordered a half rack of ribs, brisket, pulled pork, a Habanero Jalapeño Cheddar sausage link and a side of mac and F'n Cheese! My wife, she had the pulled chicken and a salad. First taste was the brisket, gotta go in for the brisket. The bark was so flavorful and there was the distinct smoke flavor. Unlike another place I've been to, this place was smoke forward and that's the vibe I like. Not bitter, but a good smoke. The pulled pork was out of this world and the ribs were just about perfect. Not fall off the bone but a great clean bite through. I know, I know everyone wants fall off the bone but hear me out, THAT'S JUST OVERCOOKED! Now let's talk about this sausage. He was warm, knowledgeable, attentive, and somehow managed to make an already amazing meal even better. His recommendations were spot-on! The food was absolutely phenomenal. The lobster mac & cheese was rich, decadent, and packed with generous pieces of lobster. The lamb was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. And the porterhouse steak? Outstanding. The quality of the steak was exceptional, but the chimichurri took it to another level. Phenomenal date night!

We started with the French onion soup and lobster bisque, and both were excellent--rich, flavorful, and a great start to the meal. Even the bread was worth mentioning, which is always a good sign! For dinner, we had the Cowboy ribeye and filet, and both were cooked perfectly. The creamed spinach and potato sides were equally impressive and the perfect complement to the steaks. The service was also excellent from start to finish. Overall, a surprisingly elevated dining experience with genuinely great food and attentive service. Charlie Palmer Steak definitely exceeded our expectations, and we'll absolutely be back.

I had the Gambler Steak Burger with garlic parmesan fries. My brother got the Blackened Salmon Ceasar Salad. I was surprised when the waiter said "good choice the salmon here is delicious". They have wild caught king salmon delivered twice a week. We split our food. The salmon was as good or better than any piece of salmon I have ever had. It melted in your mouth. My burger was cooked medium to perfection. Super juicey and delicious. Among the best burgers I have ever had no joke; they grind their own meat. The hand cut fries were really good too. Service is friendly and attentive. Great beer selection and plenty of TVs to catch the game you are after. We liked it so much that we went back and ordered the same dishes the next day and they were perfect again. They passed the consistency test. Yes two days in a row; thats how good it was. I looked at the bad reviews and it must have been off days for those bad experiences.

However, the burgers were just okay. We tried the Silver and the one with grilled onions and thousand island, but they didn't quite stand out. The island-style mocktail we ordered, on the other hand, was delicious. As for the tater tots, they were mediocre--a bit greasy and unseasoned even though we asked for Cajun (they just handed us the seasoning on the side instead of tossing them in it). If only 3.5 stars was an option. Good wings and drinks, but the rest was just average.

Eclectic ,funky, artsy interior with original art pieces and unique furnishings…read more We sat outside with friends who have been coming here for twenty years and let them do the ordering. The heat lamps were on in the enclosed area out front and they have cushions for the wrought iron chains and a shelf of blankets for customers to use. Complimentary Chilean bread rolls brought to the table right away with garlic herb butter, salsa verde sauce (chimicuri like) so good, made the old fashioned way with pork fat. Calamari Frito, Cajun seasoning, light and crunchy with a house made tarter sauce (excellent server brought us an additional tarter) Crab stuffed chili Relleno was a creative version of this meal I've eaten dozens of times, feta and a sweet sauce with the rock crab was delicious. Panqueque especial ,chorizo had a little kick but was cooled off by the pineapple and sweetness of the crepe. All baked together with rice, cheese, guac, veggie's on the side, this was a big meal that was packed with a savory mix of flavors,my favorite thing I sampled. Honey shirachi shrimp, jalapeno, bacon, pineapple,on slaw. Big shrimp, big taste in the sauce, excellent appetizer or can be ordered as a full meal. Fort Rock beer on tap ,live music, fun place and I will be back.

I'll reserve judgment on the vegetarian entre options until we have tried more. First try was a bit bland even with ordering extra hot peppers. The vegetarian taco is a nice option, but it really tastes like a tofu scramble in a tortilla. In other words, it is great that there is a vegetarian taco option. It is unfortunate that it feels like an afterthought.

Considering that I am a huge fan of "Keva Juice" over their primary competitor and the more wildly…read moreand well-known Jamba Juice, this is actually the 4th different location I have been to in the greater Reno-Sparks metropolitan area. Located in a quiet strip mall directly off of Vista Blvd and adjacent to Baring Blvd/N. D'Andrea Pkwy, this particular Keva Juice opened its doors back in 2014. What I particularly enjoy about this location is the unique views from outside; busy Vista Blvd to the west and a view of the mountainous desert terrain to the east. My lady and I came here during the afternoon on Thursday 7/2/2026 at around 3:45pm. Since this was a few hours after lunch but still several hours before our dinner, this would be the perfect mid-afternoon snack to hold us through. Parking was not an issue as the neighboring businesses are that of an insurance company & dry cleaners (as of mid-2026). As for the interior layout of the business, it is a bit smaller than other Keva Juice locations but still offers limited seating in case you wish to enjoy your smoothie, bowl, or snack inside. Since it was a beautiful summer day and was feeling the tropical vibes, I went with their "Pineapple Splash Smoothie". This consisted of fresh pineapples, guava juice, bananas, strawberries and pineapple sherbet. My lady went with their "Strawberry Squeezer Smoothies" which included a blend of apple/guava juices, bananas, strawberries, non-fat vanilla yogurt, and raspberry sherbet. This place has a huge assortment (and a much bigger variety than Jamba Juice) with a ton of customizable creations. Service was above average as our smoothies were being made as soon as made our payment. I will say that the smoothies here never disappoint as my pineapple splash hit all the high notes. And having gone to their other locations (with above average service and selection) over the course of 7-8 years, this place has consistently done things the right way. However, I cannot speak much of the food items as I have yet to try their waffles, pretzels, pastries, and cookies. They do have fairly decent hours of operation being open weekdays 7am-9pm, Saturday 8am-8pm, and Sunday 9am-8pm. And with an above average mobile app, they offer rewards and mobile pickup. With that said and done, I am giving the Sparks, NV "Keva Juice" a respectable four-star rating.

I hate writing bad updates especially when we've been on such a good streak…read more My last visit in was to pick up an online order for my kids after volleyball practice. The blonde girl working seemed bothered that I was waiting on my order in store after my I got a notification that it was ready. There were no other patrons in store, but a younger teenage boy sitting at the counter. I'm going to assume he was her boyfriend by their conversation. As I sat waiting, she made my two smothies, mind you was the same just two different sizes, a pretzel and a frozen waffle. That took over 10 minutes, the whole time still talking to the boy. Yes I said it a frozen waffle. If I wanted to pay for a frozen waffle, I'd go to the store and buy one. I haven't been back in since and was so disappointed that I had to wait over 10 minutes after I got a notification that my online order was ready. On top of her crappy service, she gave me a frozen waffle in my bag. I over tipped online and I'll never do that again. She didn't even deserve a peso. The store started filling up while I was waiting and everyone lined up seemed to be bothering her for wanting a smoothie. You had one young girl working, if you could even call that working. I have steered away from my kids ordering from here after their dental visits and after their weekly sports. Just a message to management: Please train the kids that work for you. That you pay them to take care of your customers not to treat everyone like we are a nuisance to her and her boyfriend.
