Baked Alaska about to be flamed
    Helen J.

Fantastic Flaming Fifty's Fare Fabulous service with a flaming flair! Take me back to a time when a dinner date was truly a special occasion--when hair was styled, attire was chosen with care, and the evening unfolded in a beautiful setting with impeccable, over-the-top service. Dining wasn't just about the meal--it was an experience. From the ambiance to the attentive service, every detail came together to create a memorable night. Antonio's flair is a performance in itself. The dramatic tableside finale, with the igniting of the flame on the cherries jubilee brought the evening to a spectacular close. The decor, the comfortable seating , wonderful small details -fresh rose petals adorn the table, and of course Logan and the entire staff made my birthday so special! I love it, I miss it already. and I'm so glad we can return to this timeless experience whenever we visit. We enjoyed the flaming of the Steak Diane, delicious lamb chops and of course baked Alaska and flaming Cherries Jubilee finale!

I've been to Atlantis steakhouse many times and I'm finally getting around to making a review. Atlanta actually deserves 4.5 stars and I would rate it that way if I could. First, the service at Atlantis is generally good, but you're going to be waiting. We ate here last Sunday and we were here for 3 hours. Now we don't mind dinner service running long, but if you have a babysitter, be forewarned. The ambiance at Atlantis is always incredible. It's moody but modern. They open the door upon your arrival and always ask what you're celebrating. Each guest is given a warm towel (scented with lemongrass?) at the beginning of dinner to freshen up with. The thing I love most about Atlantis is its consistency. You know what you're getting when you come here. This visit, we ordered the steak Diane (fantastic!), shrimp scampi, 321 below ice cream (Nutella cheesecake flavor) and the gran marnier soufflé (add 30 minutes to dinner service if you order this). Chef Tony came out and cooked them (steak and shrimp) for us table side. He is so professional and he did a great job! There was a snafu with bringing the sides on time, but Tony was professional about it and spoke to the server about the misstep. The steak Diane came out a perfect medium rare, order this if you can! The soufflé and the ice cream (get this too!) were sooooo good!! And make sure you get the complementary coffee cakes they offer at the end! We've been coming here for years and my husband still raves about the coffee cake. They are perfect the next morning with coffee. We asked the server for extras!!

Went for an event and it was amazing. I would love to go back but it is a bit pricey. As long as it's free I'd go every week. They even provided a to go dessert in a thank you bag.

It's a premium experience, but the flawless service, exquisite flavors, and theatrical tableside touches make every dollar worthwhile. The staff greeted us warmly, and the ambiance immediately set the tone. Watching the chefs prepare our Steak right in front of us. The sizzling pan, the delicate swirl of sauce, the aroma filling the air it was a feast for the senses before we even took the first bite. And when we did, the steak itself was nothing short of perfection tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor.

Incredible service and high end ambiance. This truly is a fine dining experience. The steak was incredible. Probably the best prime rib I've ever had. Cheesecake for dessert was also light and delicious. If you are celebrating anything at all this has to be where you come!

Well, let's just say we were so busy eating all the amazing food...that many photos were not taken. The staff were great and very attentive. They filled up our Water and cocktails and took away used plates and cutlery. It's a really nice vibe. Love the fish tank out front. We had a really comfortable big booth. We also got the Bacon steak, the bacon wrapped scallops, and brussels sprouts with bacon, and the waygu prime rib. The desserts were amazing.... Im surprised we had room for them because all the food was amazing too. We had a ton of items on the menu and we will definitely be back to try more. Do yourself a favor and get the soufflé....to die for.

It's always a treat to visit The Atlantis steakhouse and it was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary dinner. We opted for more of the tableside preparations this trip that always add a bit of fun and excitement to the night. We started with a Caesar salad that was prepared fresh with grated garlic, anchovies, fresh Parmesan, and was a good size portion. Next came the steak Diane, also table side - wonderful fillets of steak cut thin, browned slightly then combined with mushrooms and a rich brown creamy gravy. My husband opted for the special - a large New York steak with asparagus and mashed potatoes. We also ordered a side of scampi that really stole the show - they were one of the largest prawns I have had and would definitely have these as a main entree next time. They had a great selection of wine and cocktails also. I started with a Cosmo and we had two glasses of the Caymus wine that complemented our meals. To finish the night off our server surprised us with a baked Alaska that was a Neapolitan cake surrounded in marshmallow toasted by our server before serving. All in all one of the best dinners out we've had now at both visits over the last few years, in a beautiful setting with top notch service - can't ask for anything more!

Located inside the hotel/casino, this steakhouse was a nice surprise. Service was very good--our waiter was friendly, attentive, and helpful with suggestions. They brought butter and bread to the table right away, and there was a good variety of drinks to choose from. The steak was cooked well and tasted great, definitely the highlight of the meal and worth going for. We went on a weekday, and the atmosphere felt a bit more casual than I expected for a steakhouse, especially in a hotel/casino setting, but it was still comfortable. Overall, good service, good food, and a solid option if you're in the area or staying at the hotel. They also have a cool desert to the table with flames and such worth ordering if you have any room after eating everything! The only thing I wasn't too big of a fan of was the potato stuff. Lobster bisque was delicious. We halved the steak and we're still too full for dessert.

Atlantis Steakhouse is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. It's our go-to place for celebrating special occasions and always the perfect way for my husband and me to end the night. Every visit, we're consistently impressed by the exceptional hospitality, the ambiance ,and the quality of the food. It's truly a place where a 5-star rating feels completely justified.

A Fine Dining Experience Worth Savoring -- Every Single Time Atlantis Steakhouse is hands-down one of the finest restaurants in Reno -- a true gem where every visit feels like a celebration. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're treated to an exceptional, top-tier experience that blends luxury, warmth, and unforgettable flavor. The ambiance is elegant and timeless -- think crisp white linens, rose petals, soft lighting, and warm towels offered at the beginning of your meal. Every detail is thoughtfully executed to set the tone for a refined dining experience. We were lucky to be served by Logan, an outstanding waiter who exemplifies professionalism, knowledge, and genuine hospitality. He's been a proud member of the Atlantis team for over five years, and it shows. Attentive, respectful, and approachable -- he made our evening even more special. Now the food... absolutely phenomenal. We started with: Escargot - one of the best I've ever had. Rich, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Bacon-wrapped scallops - cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Each entrée includes a choice of salad or soup: I chose the house salad, which was beautifully plated and fresh. My husband had the coconut clam chowder -- a creative and delicious twist that totally worked. For the main course: I ordered the Diane Steak, one of their signature dishes, prepared tableside. Watching it come together was a treat in itself -- and the taste was pure perfection. My husband opted for the bison tenderloin, beautifully plated with cauliflower purée, sautéed greens, and topped with foraged mushrooms (chanterelles, I believe!) -- an elegant and earthy complement to the dish. For dessert: Since we were celebrating a birthday, they surprised us with a complimentary ice cream cake, complete with a dramatic bourbon flame presentation -- such a fun and thoughtful touch! I also couldn't resist ordering the flourless chocolate cake to satisfy my craving -- and it was the ultimate rich, chocolatey cherry on top of an extraordinary evening. We highly recommend dining at Atlantis Steakhouse, especially for a special occasion. It's a place where you can dress up and fully indulge -- though if you're traveling and don't have dressy clothes, they are gracious and welcoming even if you arrive in casual attire (unlike many high-end steakhouses). This place is truly the gold standard of dining in Reno. We'll be back -- again and again.

The ambiance was fancy, food was delicious, great service, and spacious for a large group. Even though the restaurant was closing in an hour. We didn't feel rushed for us having a party 10. They were very informative about the menu. Everything they brought out was delicious.

Had to reduce my 4 star rating to a three, after receiving the response from Atlantis owner. Come on!!! You can do better than that, and should! Your canned responses to all reviews, show you are bored with your job, and couldn't care less about the guest experience, good or bad. You should be fired, as you are not putting a good light on the company. The review response is your opportunity to make a good impression on people deciding whether or not to patronize your establishment, and you have failed! Obviously, you should expect slow, poor service, and your review will fall on deaf ears.

What an amazing dinner celebrating my birthday. The restaurant is elegant with huge cylinder aquarium at the entrance. I enjoyed Steak Diane served table side. What a great experience! We ordered Ahi Tuna Tartare and the Dungeness Crab Cake for Appetizers. So good! For main entree, Chilean Sea Bass, Pepper Crusted Ora King Salmon, Seared Bison Tenderloin, Filet Minon, and the Steam Diane which all comes with a choice of salad or soap. Everything we ordered were perfectly prepared or cooked to our satisfaction. Outstanding and attentive service. I also received a stunning cake. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Ask the Community - Atlantis Steakhouse

Anyone have a pic of the wine list or know where i can find online?

The wine list is on a tablet that you get at the table. However, under each type of wine there is only one offering from one winery. At at average of $18-21 a glass, I found the wine list to be over priced.

    What is your corkage fee?

Think I heard the waitress say it was $35.

Is there a dress code? Jeans and polo shirts okay?

Casual.....That was the answer I was given when I called to ask about the dress code for the Atlantis Steakhouse.Hope this helps.

This is a tale of a potato. Yes, I get it, this is a steakhouse. But, I haven't had a steak here…read moreyet. I work next-door and I've only had a couple of things to eat here on the fly. I will be posting a future review on the steak but I felt it necessary to review what I have had. The first day I ate here was the onion rings. Albeit a little pricey, they are the best onion rings you will ever have. They are awesome. Large, crispy, side of ranch or ketchup, I had both. A wow. But then last week I forgot lunch, but I didn't want steak. So I checked the menu and saw they had the fully loaded potato. If you know my reviews you know my wife is the steak eater, I usually get chicken at a steakhouse. Yeah I know. But, always my favorite part of the meal is a loaded potato. Well let me tell you, this place has the best loaded potato I've ever had in my life. And that is saying a lot. My former favorite loaded potato was at a steakhouse in California that is no longer in business. But fear not, as they have been replaced. This was the potato to beat all potatoes. Oh my God it was so good and so loaded with bacon, cheese, and green onions. It is a meal in itself, and I had a second one on Saturday. Yes, I will take the Wife there so she can get a steak and I'll review that, but I am telling you this was freaking awesome. But it doesn't end there. The wait staff is extremely nice and efficient. And to top it off they give you a cookie. And man is that cookie good. Seeing I work next-door I'll be back many times and try many of their things, probably even a steak at some point. But I'm telling you, if you love a baked potato like I do, go no further. I see people eating outdoors here all the time and they're all happy, so come and check it out. You won't be sorry. And don't forget to order that baked potato! OK part two. I took my wife there tonight. She had the ribeye and I had the ribs. The ribs were incredible. They have a really great rub and they are obviously slow roasted to perfection. Fall off the bone perfection. Comes with a little side of barbecue sauce which is really good, but truthfully I don't need it, they were so tasty on their own. I will definitely try them again down the road. But the ribeye steak. Wow wow wow. My wife got the chimichurri with it, and I am telling you this is one of the best steaks you will ever have. It is so flavorful and so soft. It is truly amazing. Although I am not a steak guy per se, this is one of the places I will definitely order a steak and enjoy it. I was truly amazed. Great service, great ambience, great experience all around.

The level of attention was perfect; he wasn't all up in our biz nor did we have to put a BOLO on him. Overcook it and keep cooking it that way? You've lost me for life. I'm thrilled to share that everything was the right temp and flavored REALLY well. We dove in so quickly that I failed to take photos. BONUS: we had arrived during the time when Zive was playing live music which added to an already great ambiance. What an incredibly kind and talented man! This was by far one of the best dining experiences we've had in a while. In fact, I'm writing this review while we're still here. I highly recommend BLS!!

That was fine so as soon as we turned around to sit in the lobby, the guy called us and said he happened to find a table for two. So we were sat immediately. This is the busiest I've ever seen this restaurant. Pretty much every table, and they have lots of tables, was full. Braden was our server and he was at our table within five minutes. Considering how busy the place was, that was awesome. He took our drink orders asked if we actually knew what we wanted to eat, which we didn't, and so he went to get our drinks while we looked at the menu. What we ordered: 25 ounce Cadillac margarita Frolic in the sand Shots of tequila (Herradura) 20 ounce prime rib, medium rare Lobster tail Jacketed baked potato Sautéed mushrooms The food arrived quickly. The prime rib was perfect. Lobster, mushrooms. Everything was just so darn good. The star of the show was the server Braden. He was friendly and a little entertaining. Even though the place was super busy, he took the time to talk with us and make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our evening. I will definitely ask for him next time we come in here as he was that good. When the food and drinks are consistent, sometimes the only difference of a good visit versus an average visit is the server. He was perfect. I know things can go wrong occasionally, but this seemed to be a string of events. Once we ordered, it took a while to get food. I'm not complaining about this, we were a large party. When we did get our food, all of it was either wrong, cold, or undercooked. There were no wait staff around to tell, apparently they were short-staffed that night. I walked up and got the manager, who came back to the table to hear us out. They ended up comping all of the food and by the time we had gotten this far, it was already later in the evening and we just decided to salvage what we could. Some of the food was edible, so we did what we could. We kept waiting for someone to come around to clear dishes comma but we never saw anyone. There was an empty table between us and the next table over. There was an empty table between us and the next table over, and they had started stacking they're empty dishes on that empty table. We decided, we might as well do the same thing otherwise the dishes would stay put. By the end of the meal, the entire table was full of dishes. We ended up going somewhere else later that evening to actually get some food we could eat. I'm really sad that this meal went so poorly when we were trying to celebrate a birthday. We will never be going to this restaurant again. Additional after the fact, the sign outside that advertises the business has been broken for months. One would think that if you were a serious business that you would want to fix that. It reflects on your image. It makes me sad too, because they are right across the street from the Peppermill and they could be getting so much business.

I wanted my children to experience dining here because this is my wife and I's #1 steakhouse in Reno NV. If you love Great Service and a Delicious meal you need to give Western Village a try. There is still the photographer that comes around to take your photo and print copies for the book. It's fun to still have that older school touch. The only real downside is to have to walk through the casino where it is fairly smoky. The restaurant does not smell like that and the lower ceilings and tiles keep the noise at bay. Unlike other steakhouses, there are plenty of dishes that come with the sides versus al carte. I had the seafood pasta, the scallops were larger and seared well, the crab on top was generous. Overall, delicious flavors. The portion is large and after the bread, salad, sorbet palate cleanser, I couldn't finish it. The bread variety is really yummy and there is a cheesy one and a butter as well as a cheese spread. My parents had the chateaubriand, which they really enjoyed and is really enough for like 3 persons. The Steak House at Western Village is a great place to celebrate an occasion or for a nice date night.

Every single time I come here, I'm gently greeted by a kind face at the front door, I'm immediately sat down and taken care of. I've had the pleasure of meeting Edson my first time here and it makes me happy to see he is still here today, still working hard with the same energy he had those couple years ago when I met him. It's really awesome to see a General Manager running around checking on all the tables with a smile on his face. That's the type of service that's rare nowadays. Don't get me started on the food. I could talk for days about it. Just know you'll never find quality food anywhere else in Reno other than here at Churrascos. What I'm really more impressed with, is the young men running around serving the meat. They are highly knowledgeable of the meat they're serving, they know just the right temperature to pick for you, and they are highly attentive. I've never met the owner but I bet you the owner is proud of the amazing work these guys do. It is damn hard to find workers like that. I am a permanent customer from now on because of my experience with these guys, they all made me feel right at home, seen, and taken care of. Thank you to the GM Edson and his team that night for always making me feel amazing with quality service, and a huge thank you to the owner who brilliantly hired these guys. I will be back with my entire family!

We had made reservations and were greeted immediately when we got there and seated right away in a very nice booth . We had Jeff , Tony , Gary were our waiters and man they were top notch excellent. Very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. We ordered drinks - I had a Smoked old fashioned (see video) and wifey had a gin lemon drop. Both were delicious. We started off with Stuffed mushrooms and Lobster Bisque. I'm not a huge mushroom fan, but these were pretty good. The lobster biscuit had a lot of flavor and decent amount of lobster. For main we ordered the Trio Wagyu that consisted of Australian , American , Japanese. Sides were Lobster mashed potatoes and Brussel Sprouts . Man everything was sooooo good . Our fav of the trio was the Australian Wagyu it was so good . As a surprise they gave us some chocolates and a little cake for our anniversary. This was definitely worth it especially for. As per pics you can see the ambiance is fancy , beautiful lighting and scenic screens in the middle was cool . Will be back Enjoy !!!!

I can't believe I haven't updated my review…read more Brought a friend here for dinner. There were three of us. My friend and I had the 6-oz Filet Mignon USDA. I got mine with caramelized onions, baked potato, and fresh veggies. We both got it medium rare. She got hers topped with Point Reyes Blue Cheese crumbles. Her daughter got Filet of Petrale Sole Meuniere. First came a basket of bread. But, two of us are gluten-free. The Waiter made a point to check with the kitchen on all our meals. The steak came out smelling like garlic. It looked so much better than the picture I posted. It was so tender it cut with a butter knife. The color of the steak inside was perfect medium rare. The flavor on the taste buds is what dreams are made of. Some meals we remember for a lifetime. Because every bite is just that scrumptious. I can still almost taste it by just thinking about it. For dessert, we got the classic Bananas Foster, which is made tableside. It is dinner and a show. Bananas Foster is such a decadent treat. The show begins with the melting of the butter, and the aroma will still your breath away. Then add in the brown and white sugars. Several alcohols are used. I believe they use Banana liquor as well as rum. Then a fire is lit in the pan. It sparks when the cinnamon is added. Then the bananas are cooked ever so lightly. Sometimes, too much liqueur is added, and the flavor is off. However, on this night, it was spot on. The sugars and liqueur create a caramel sauce for the bananas, and vanilla ice cream is added. The ice cream that was used tasted like a French Vanilla ice cream with little flecks of vanilla. Each bite was a walk on a cloud. My friends had never had Bananas Foster before. I think they will be back if only for the Bananas Foster. The bananas and caramel with a kiss a vanilla ice cream just send your taste buds to heaven. Each bite will have you desiring more, even if you are beyond full. Each bite is so divine. It tastes so decadent that your mind will be blown that it is bananas and vanilla ice cream. I can't remember the name of our waiter. He was such a delight and made sure we had a great time. This was a meal I will remember for a long time. Thank you to the staff at Duke's Steakhouse. If you are looking for a luxurious and decadent dinner, this is the restaurant.

We went back at 4:40pm as instructed and still plenty of room in the bar, but yet they still would not see us. It wasn't until I asked if we could just sit down and we would wait for the service even if they were behind at that point, they allowed us to sit at the bar and we were waited on right away with no issue. Adrian knows us and we are very good customers there. I think some things changed in management, Kevin the waiter who has been there since it opened is no longer there and you could feel a different vibe going on in the restaurant. The happy hour menu has changed and my husband's favorite Chardonnay is no longer included, but Adrian bought him a lovely Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc which was very tasty for $8. Adrian is a wonderful bartender and we enjoy his service! Sad to hear Jenna moved on too! Why is it all the good people leave, but then you have Quincy at the chandelier bar yelling at customers, not serving customers, telling you he won't serve her until it's convenient for him. Thank goodness Larry was working at the sports bar after happy hour! He is a great guy and works so hard for the casino and his customers!

Our server Donovan was charming and made sure the birthday in our party was celebrated (thank you). The food itself was good, but I do have to say that for an a-la-carte menu, I do not feel that it was worth the cost. I ordered the Chilean sea bass with green beans which was priced at $62, and was disappointed when I received a 1x4inch sliver of fish under a measly 5 whole green beans (yes, I counted). Others in my party ordered the short ribs and prawn fettucine, which appeared to be normal sized servings. I enjoyed my food, but felt silly needing to use my fork and knife to try and cut 30 bites out of a 5 bite serving so I didn't finish within 5 minutes. Luckily, people in my party also shared their food with me once they noticed my tiny serving. I had looked at previous pictures of this dish- only one had green beans but even that one looked significantly more substantial than what I was given. At the end of the day, while I enjoyed dining here, I feel strongly that it's severely overpriced for what you get. The sea bass at another comparable Reno steakhouse is currently priced at $52 and not only comes with lobster risotto and creamed spinach, but is also served with soup/salad, vegetables, and another starch.
