Came to Bimini on a weekday night with some coworkers. Service was great, no issues. I got the 22 oz bone in ribeye, med rare which was cooked to perfection. Friends got the wagu strip and prime rib, which they all enjoyed as well. For sides, we got the truffle Mac, potatoes and fries. Each of the sides were good and would order again. Got the old fashion for drinks, nothing to brag about. Only downside, we were seated next to a bright big wall tv. Feel like they shouldn't be around for a steak house. Took away from the vibe. Other than that, great place and would easily be back again, but seated away from the giant tv wall.

We dine here at almost every celebratory occasion, but this was my first time ordering the wagyu trio. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I couldn't decide which Wagyu to get, so the trio was a great introduction to Wagyu meats, so now I know what I want for next time! As always, the complimentary bread is amazing and the staff is pleasant and attentive. You really can't beat the local discount that Peppermill gives locals.

Was craving prime rib one day and came across this place. I can't believe I havnt had it before. Atmosphere is amazing, servers was super kind, and the food is outstanding. Prime rib was cooked perfect. We liked it so much we went back 2 days later and i got a filet which was also really good. They also give you a couple complimentary things which is always appreciated.

I always have a great meal at Bimini Steakhouse. Maurice also known as Mo behind the bar is absolutely fantastic and always takes great care of me and my customers when traveling to Reno on business. The service is consistently top-notch, and the food never disappoints. The Wagyu steaks are incredible, the scalloped potatoes are out of this world, and you definitely can't skip dessert. Highly recommend if you're looking for an amazing steakhouse experience!

My husband and I came here recently for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We had booked the reservation a few weeks in advance. Upon arrival we were seated immediately. The ambiance inside is pretty nice - it's a very large dining room with a lot of seating. I would expect a bit darker/moody lighting for a steakhouse, but it's still very nice. Our waiter Robert "Bob" and his assistant were so genuine and kind. We got alot of recommendations from them and they were very helpful. My husband and I started with the Classic Tableside Caesar Salad. The salad was so fresh and flavorful. It was a bit on the spicy/tangy side, but was enjoyable. I then got the 8oz Prime Filet Mignon and my husband got the 16oz Niman Ranch Prime NY Strip. We split the Au Gratin Potatoes and the French Fries (I know, I know - two potatoes dishes haha!) we both have our preferences in potato and figured the Caesar salad was enough for a veggie and we didn't need another. The veggie sides are so marked up at these places. I love that each steak comes with a sauce: we got the Roasted Garlic-Cabernet and Creamy Horseradish. For dessert we split the Cherry Crumb Cheesecake which came with ice cream and chocolate truffles. This was one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. What a great recommendation from the waiter - we were so full by this point that we were able to take it home and eat it the next night. I'm still thinking about that amazing cake batter crumble: yum!! Overall we had a great experience. We'll definitely add this restaurant back into our rotation when we want a nice night out. The best part of being a local is the 20% discount!

If you're at Peppermill in Reno, whether you're visiting or a local this restaurant is absolutely worth checking out for a dinner date or even a business dinner. First off, the space is beautiful. The decor is unique and really sets the mood for a nice evening out. The staff was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the menu, which I always appreciate. Quick heads up though it's not the easiest place to find from the casino floor because the signage isn't great. Here's the trick: just to the left of the check-in area there's an escalator. Go up, turn right, walk to the end, and you've arrived. You're welcome Now, onto the food. They have a large seafood selection, which limited what I could personally try, but the staff was incredibly helpful navigating my food allergy. Huge plus there. The tableside bread service was fantastic fresh and warm, and the sourdough was especially amazing. They also brought out a mango sorbet with champagne as a palate cleanser, which was such a classy, refreshing touch. I ordered the French onion soup and the handmade fries. The soup was well prepared, and instead of the traditional bread on top, they used puff pastry a fun twist, though it was a little crumbly. The house-made fries were excellent. My only wish? A spicy mustard option to dip them in. Around the table we had sea bass, steaks, Caesar salad, filet mignon, and lobster bisque and I checked in with everyone. Not a single complaint. Everything got rave reviews. And don't skip dessert. We tried them all, and honestly, even if you came just for dessert and drinks, you wouldn't be disappointed. Overall, great atmosphere, excellent service, and a solid dining experience. Definitely a spot I'd return to

11/2/25 Anniversary Dinner (24yrs). We decided we wanted to splurge and come here. We heard many good things about from friends/family that has been here. Wow what an experience. We had made reservations and were greeted immediately when we got there and seated right away in a very nice booth . We had Jeff , Tony , Gary were our waiters and man they were top notch excellent. Very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. We ordered drinks - I had a Smoked old fashioned (see video) and wifey had a gin lemon drop. Both were delicious. We started off with Stuffed mushrooms and Lobster Bisque. I'm not a huge mushroom fan, but these were pretty good. The lobster biscuit had a lot of flavor and decent amount of lobster. For main we ordered the Trio Wagyu that consisted of Australian , American , Japanese. Sides were Lobster mashed potatoes and Brussel Sprouts . Man everything was sooooo good . Our fav of the trio was the Australian Wagyu it was so good . As a surprise they gave us some chocolates and a little cake for our anniversary. This was definitely worth it especially for. As per pics you can see the ambiance is fancy , beautiful lighting and scenic screens in the middle was cool . Will be back Enjoy !!!!

I was really looking forward to celebrating my birthday here, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. If you do decide to visit, I recommend parking in the garage--it's quite a walk from the Virginia Street parking lot. Service started off okay, but the pacing felt off. We were rushed at the beginning, then experienced a long gap after our appetizer, salad, and soup before our entrées arrived. The food itself was just okay, with nothing that truly stood out. From the complimentary bread to the entrées, most dishes were bland, and there wasn't anything we would order again. The Wagyu and Tomahawk steaks tasted as though they were of lesser quality. The King Crab legs were prepared well and easy to eat (market price $141), but still nothing to rave about. This was especially noticeable when compared to several steakhouses we've dined at in Reno and Sparks, and it doesn't come close to the quality of steakhouses in Las Vegas or Hawaii. Desserts were better--the Poached Pear, Cherry Cheesecake, and 6-Layer Chocolate Cake--but even the Banana Foster didn't quite measure up to others I've had. My son did enjoy the Old Forester flight. The Pineapple Margarita was just okay, and my daughter appreciated the server making her an affogato. Oddly, the server used some "sayings" throughout the evening that made us pause. He also didn't acknowledge that it was my birthday, which was disappointing given the occasion and the notation on our reservation. It makes you wonder why there's even a section for accommodations if it doesn't matter. On a positive note, our busser, Spencer, was great and very attentive. Overall, the whole experience fell short of what I had hoped for as a birthday dinner celebration and unfortunately ended the evening on a disappointing note, especially considering the nearly $800 bill.

We dined at Bimini Steakhouse last month and the experience was phenomenal from start to finish. The service alone deserves five stars--our water glasses never even made it a quarter of the way down before being refilled. Attentive without being intrusive, which is rare these days. The homemade Caesar salad was incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced and clearly made with care. The steak was cooked spot-on, exactly as ordered, tender and full of flavor. From the food to the service, everything was executed flawlessly. A truly excellent dining experience and absolutely worth returning for. It was a beautiful restaurant! Highly recommend

Great dinner in an elegant setting! Service was on point and the drinks were great. The complimentary bread service was very good as the bread is made in house. The lobster bisque is some of the best I've ever had- chunks of lobster in a rich flavorful broth. Loved the sorbet with sparking intermezzo. The bone-in rib eye was cooked perfectly. The broccoli side with garlic was a nice accompaniment. I had the scallop special. Wow! Perfectly cooked sea scallops over a bed of amazing veggies and roasted potatoes with beurre blanc sauce. The dark chocolate carmels with se salt were the perfect end.

The food and service at Bimini was excellent! We went here for our honeymoon dinner and enjoyed every bit. Depending on what you order it is almost like a mini show because they the drinks and food at your table. Bob and Jacob were an excellent team, they made every effort to have us comfortable and satisfied. We even got chocolate mousse on the house.

Jeff, Tony, and Gary took great care of us making sure we had everything we needed and wanted. They were extremely efficient and friendly. The food was excellent and good portion size. The flavor of the food did not disappoint which is especially important when you're paying top dollar. The whole experience was top notch and we will definitely tell everyone we know if they want a nice steakhouse where they can go.

I know things can go wrong occasionally, but this seemed to be a string of events. Once we ordered, it took a while to get food. I'm not complaining about this, we were a large party. When we did get our food, all of it was either wrong, cold, or undercooked. There were no wait staff around to tell, apparently they were short-staffed that night. I walked up and got the manager, who came back to the table to hear us out. They ended up comping all of the food and by the time we had gotten this far, it was already later in the evening and we just decided to salvage what we could. Some of the food was edible, so we did what we could. We kept waiting for someone to come around to clear dishes comma but we never saw anyone. There was an empty table between us and the next table over. There was an empty table between us and the next table over, and they had started stacking they're empty dishes on that empty table. We decided, we might as well do the same thing otherwise the dishes would stay put. By the end of the meal, the entire table was full of dishes. We ended up going somewhere else later that evening to actually get some food we could eat. I'm really sad that this meal went so poorly when we were trying to celebrate a birthday. We will never be going to this restaurant again. Additional after the fact, the sign outside that advertises the business has been broken for months. One would think that if you were a serious business that you would want to fix that. It reflects on your image. It makes me sad too, because they are right across the street from the Peppermill and they could be getting so much business.

My experience was quite different, we had a party of six celebrating a very special occasion. Thinking this Steakhouse is rated 4 stars we thought we couldn't go wrong, that was our first mistake. Of the first 5 salads brought out they had to take em back because of the 'off' odor. Our server explained that maybe it was the radishes (not what I would expect from a four star steakhouse). When the entrées came out three people had ordered filet mignon's, which I was told was very tasty. One of the patrons had ordered New York strip (three of us confirmed that) and was given and charged for a filet mignon rather than taking it back to the kitchen and giving the patron what they ordered. It was unfortunate, but the service in my opinion was not four-star they did check on us occasionally and kept the water glasses full and 'maybe' they even asked if everything was OK. Not wanting to spend $60 for a steak (I was a guest) I ordered the seafood roast. It turned out to be a very tasty bisque, but a tasty bowl of soup shouldn't cost $35.00. Give em try if you want to gamble on a great experience. My recommendation is to go to Western Steakhouse, enjoy the much better ambience, 120% better experience for maybe 10% more. You do you, all six of us know where we'll go next time.

The eating area is very spacious and commodious. Though this place has a casual vibe, the presentation of the food is totally fine-dining material. Each dish, especially the Citrus glazed salmon, is served as a piece of art. I've been here around three times before I installed yelp, and am excited to finally leave a review. The short rib, was absolutely amazing. The short rib was so tender, and each brussels sprout was a literal flavor bomb. The brussels sprouts I've had at other places have flavor only on the exterior, whereas the brussels sprouts here play a different game. The short rib is served in a really big portion. Though it may look dark from the photos, there are actually three big pieces. I loved loved loved the sauce; there's a sweet tangy taste to it, though it reminded me a lot of BBQ sauce. This short rib was a win. Chefs kiss. The truffle lasagna was terrific; so much sauce in between the lasagna layers. I could absolutely make out the truffle flavor in this dish. However, I recommend eating this dish quickly, as the lasagna stiffens really quickly. Thirty minutes after it was served, I went it to take another bite, and it wasn't as good anymore. The ceasar salad +beef is a great choice for a light but filling meal when you're currently on a healthy diet. Each dish here comes in giant portions, but even after you finish this salad, it won't feel too heavy on your body. I think it's because Washoe is really light on the dressing levels; perfecting the amount so it doesn't overtake the fresh flavor of the greens or leave the salad bland and insipid. However, the beef was a bit too well done and on the firmer side. The first time coming here, I was totally shocked to find out that the food they served did not match the relaxed and informal vibe the setting sets up. Not a bad thing at all. Creates a laid-back vibe while still getting high quality food.

Situated in Mid-Town, it is conveniently located near the River and an easy walk to to the Pioneer Center. Have no fear, there is quite normal food fare in addition to the more exotic. We went with a large group, so we were able to sample the exotic and the more traditional. Starting with the Double Elk Chops, featured on Dives, Diners and Drive-Ins, the Elk is a bit on the gamey side, tender with a hint of lamb taste but a finish of liver, it is not for everyone. Scottish Eggs is a soft boiled egg, wrapped in sausage, then deep fried. It is served with a beer mustard. My friend, from England, was quick to order the Scottish Eggs. He reported that they were a bit over cooked but otherwise fine. 6/10. The Kangaroo Philly Cheese Steak sounds more exotic than the taste. For this sandwich I would have appreciated a bit more Kangaroo :-) but otherwise was good. Our friends seemed to enjoy the Boar Schnitzel and the portion was certainly large, as were all the portions at the Washoe Public House. The Short Ribs were so tended and a just a touch on the sweet side. My wife liked the sweetness but as a full meal, it was a bit sweet for my palate. I had the Washoe Burger with Bacon. A solid burger. I would have preferred my patty a bit less cooked but it was fine none the less. Rich with flavor, a solid choice. The fries were good. Nothing spectacular. The service was wonderful everyone was so friendly and attentively and the restaurant has such a beautiful, classic elegance to it. We ordered the Chateaubriand and OMG... this could seriously feed four people! I absolutely loved the presentation. They bring it out, slice it tableside, and show you the cut right in front of you. Such a nice touch! We also had the crème brûlée, and they surprised us with a chocolate mousse cake for our anniversary. They even give you a palate cleanser of lemon sorbet with non-alcoholic bubbly, which was SO good. Another really sweet touch: they ask to take your photo and then give you a beautiful printed copy to take home! It made the anniversary dinner feel even more special and gave us a little keepsake from the night. Everything from the food to the service and all the little details made the evening memorable. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great steak, wonderful service, and a more elegant dining experience in Reno. Definitely a special-occasion kind of place!

The service is good but the food has gone down hill. The ambience is great but you do have to walk thru a smoky casino to get to the steak house.

My favorite was the sirloin and the picaña (apologize if I misspelled). The hot table at the main line had 8 different food items, the salmon was one of my favorites. The service was amazing, our server Elena (apologize if I misspelled once again) was on top of the game. I had a red wine called Bonanza that paired really well with all the meats. Chicken thigh, sirloin, bacon wrapped filet mignon, lamb, and spicy sausage were other meat options we tried. All of them were amazing, my first time trying lamb. The restaurant is clean, pristine, it elevated my experience there. I will come back again...perfect to take the wife out. The restrooms have floss and mouth wash, that was pretty dope. Overall, one of the best experiences I have had so far.

This spot gets busy and the wait time can be long. Once seated, you get a rundown of how everything works. If you have been to a Brazilian steakhouse before, you'll be familiar with the set up. You have a chip to flip to green if you want to be offered more and then it can be flipped to red to signal you are taking a break. Wait staff are very observant and offer meats if your chip is green. It was nice when wait staff asked if there was an option we had not gotten to try yet and he made it a point to make sure it came our way at some point during the meal. I was disappointed with how some of the meat was cooked but it's understandable since it's a large portion to be served to everyone. Some of the lamb and sirloin were very dry. The tri tip and rib eyes were the best. Their salad bar in the middle is unlimited but of course you don't want to fill up on sides. I'd suggest the scallop potatoes and the mushroom risotto. Lots of drink options and wine. They were coming around serving a liquer 43 cocktail which was actually incredibly enjoyable. A little bit of a caffeine kick to get you through the heavy meal. Overall, better experience but there are still areas I think can be improved to make this even better and can stand with other comparable Brazilian restaurants around the CA/NV areas.
