We brought our vehicle in to have a dent repaired. Instead of properly fixing the dent and repainting the area, it was simply buffed out, leaving the paint in worse condition than when we dropped it off. It was clear there was a misunderstanding, as we expected the damaged area to be painted, not just buffed. The owner also offers transportation to and from the airport but does not disclose upfront that there is a $65 charge per trip. For comparison, an Uber costs approximately $40. Additionally, the shop performed a full cleaning and detailing of the vehicle and charged our credit card $350 for the service, which was never discussed, requested, or approved in advance. However, when I picked it up I could hardly recognize it! The care and attention they take with each car they work on is beyond obvious. Never got serviced. Never received a formal a quote. Not sure why. Saw the Yelp reviews, read their website. Seemed to do impeccable work. Decided to do as they suggest and stop by for a free estimate. A clearly very inebriated and very friendly Geoffrey showed me around and demonstrated their work. Looked amazing. Checked out my car. Fred showed up, evidently returning from a root canal recently, took pictures of my car. Talked about my concerns and what I was hoping to get as a result. Fred then spit-balled some estimates and asked for my some information about me and mainly my car. I gave him some. He asked for my email address. I asked why. He said so he could send me a formal quote later after he discussed it with his contractor guys. I said that sounds great I look forward to it. Never heard from them again. It's been about 3 months now. Don't get that one. While they have a friendly dog, they neglected to mention it has a skin infection until AFTER I started scratching the dog directly on the infected area. Got to used their industrial soap after he mentioned the dog's condition. Zero stars for zero service I guess? No option on yelp. So 1 star it is. read more

The Car Guys - Minor Damage Brought my new Mustang GT350 here to get cleaned up and sealed. Fred (the owner) and his son Geoffrey were great. It was my first time at this shop. I was given a quick tour and a rundown of the services they provided. Fred informed me I could drop off my vehicle that day and offered to take me home since I lived close by. He failed to mention I would be charged an additional $25 for this kind gesture the next day, but I still appreciated the ride home. My vehicle was ready the next day and looked amazing. Geoffrey certainly did a great job. The only reason they lost 2 stars was because on my way home I noticed a scratch on the leather portion of my steering wheel. Something I know I would've felt/noticed before dropping the vehicle off. It appears someone had something jagged in their hand (or maybe a sharp ring on their finger) and it slid across, tearing the leather a bit. I also noticed a small chip on the edge of the driver's door. This chip could only have gotten there by opening the door and hitting something. Since I'm still in the "honeymoon phase" with this car, there is no way I did that, and again, I would have noticed it beforehand. I spoke to the owner a couple days later about these minor issues (not expecting any remedy, just to inform him). Fred heard me out and was sympathetic but insisted there was no way he or his team did either of the damages. He suggested the damages were there when I bought the car, I just didn't notice them. I disagree. Overall, I am pleased with their work; however, replacing the steering wheel will cost about $500, if I choose to go that route. That being said, I likely will not return here for that reason. But I have no doubt this business will continue to be a success because they do good work and have great customer service. It's disappointing that my new car was lightly damaged though, I would've loved to continue to bring my cars here and refer them to my friends, co-workers, and family. read more

Called in to get a quote on cleaning a cloth seat. Apparently they don't give quotes over the phone or even a range. They were about 30 minutes from me and I wasn't going to drive out there just to get a quote that may not work. Man I spoke to seemed quick to rush me off the phone. Took my car to a place in Parole that cleaned (shampooed and vacuumed) my my driver and passenger seat for $35 and gave excellent, friendly service. read more

I absolutely love this place. I have a monster of a German Shepherd dog, who slobbers an unholy amount and gets carsick. So whenever we have to take him somewhere my car gets disgusting, regardless of how many sheets/blankets/car seat covers I use. Pre-gargantuan dog I made the mistake of a buying a sedan with a tan interior and cloth seats. Worst decision ever. The interior of my car was getting to the point that normal cleaning and febreezing just would not work. It was revolting, and I had to do something. When we decided to ditch the useless sedan and get a truck, I started searching for car cleaning services. My search turned up a lot of places with horrendous reviews and I wasn't feeling very hopeful until I stumbled upon The Car Guys. I was hesitant about calling them, the reviews were great but the website was all collector cars and cars I could only dream of owning. I figured it was worth a shot to see if they could work some magic on my silly KIA sedan. I dropped my car off on a late Friday afternoon, and it was ready by the same time Saturday. I was blown away by the end product. I delivered to them a foul, stinking, slobber stained car and I got back something that looked brand new out of the box! The dog vomit, the slobber, everything gone. Like it was never there, and it smelled so amazing. They didn't miss a single spot. All the shop guys are extremely friendly and helpful and the shop dog, Bella is totally adorable. They also have a fantastic service that you can use if you're flying out of town, where they'll drop you off at the airport and detail your car while you're traveling and then pick you up when they return. This is a really great local, family-owned business. The Car Guys are passionate about what they do and it really pays off. Their work is second to none. I took my '04 MDX in for a detail and to have a badly torn up passenger seat looked at. Others told me it couldn't be repaired for a reasonable price. Fred took care of it and it looks like brand new. The leather matches perfectly and just looks spectacular. And they did an excellent job on the detail. So evidently they only do detail work they do not wash cars. They are willing to wash your car after you get a detail with them. Found The Car Guys on the internet and am I ever glad I did. I dropped off our MDX for a thorough detailing inside and out. Wow, that is exactly what we got. My wife said " it looks better than it did coming out of the showroom floor. Our SUV really needed attention particularly the interior. I don't think you can get better auto detailing anywhere else. I'm a stickler for details when it comes to my car, and I'm someone who notices the littlest stain or speck. I was very happy to see that The Car Guys pay just as much, if not more, attention to detail as I do! They take care of every nook and cranny to ensure that your car looks brand new. There were some very small coffee stains on the light gray fabric seats that they managed to get out without a trace of them ever being there. They also buffed out all of the scratches and water marks on my car, which takes some work given that it's a black car. They really go above and beyond, and tailor their detail services to the needs of your vehicle, so you don't get a one-size-fits-all sort of detail. In my opinion, they're a little pricey - but as they say, you get what you pay for, and they're worth every penny. If anything, save yourself money by just going to them. If you go somewhere else to save money, you'll just end up going back to The Car Guys because no auto detailer does as fine of a job as they do. Not only that, but they're very nice and friendly people too! Fred, the owner, is a great guy and makes you feel very comfortable.
