I really wanted to eat there but the girl in the front register told the young lady in the front to tell me that the grill was already turned off and they were no longer cooking any food cause they were closed. The young lady apologized and looked at the girl at the register. The manager was a young man and he also said that they were closed . I was very upset cause it wasn't even 1:00 yet. You need to hire a better manager and a better register girl. I believe the young man was a manager he was sitting at the bar. Still not impressed. We had the Hawaiian French Toast and Bacon Gravy over biscuits. Bacon gravy has no bacon and no flavor. French toast is just toast with cereal on it. Two thin slices of bread with a single tub of butter and way too much syrup. The table service was better but there were only 10 people in the restaurant. This was my second and last time here. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful however the owner was rude and unsanitary. The owner told us we could not put tables together to stay our large party despite many empty tables. One member of our party got his food about 45 minutes before the rest of our party. We watched the owner try and fail to efficiently expo food. We also watched her sneeze and now her nose multiple times and go right back to expo food without sanitizing her hands. I can see why they were not packed at lunch on Sunday. Once they do, you'll place your order at the front and you'll be able to take a sit. The wait time honestly depends if you go during the week or the weekend. During the week it's about 5-10 minute wait. However, on the weekend it can take a bit longer. But you won't be disappointed with your meal, so wait patiently. They will bring your plate to you, the only items you get on your own are your drinks. All the servers are really nice and attentive and ask if you need anything else. Today I ordered The Veggie Omelette which comes with avocado, tomatoes, mushrooms, and cheese. Mine had a side of potatoes and they were very yummy. Not buttery as I've read on other reviews. Not suitable for vegans.... Not sure why this place showed up on Happy Cow (vegan version of Yelp). I mean, I guess They DO have vegan pancakes and claim the side of potatoes is vegan, however the pancakes were awful ( we couldn't even finish them - I cooked and bitter) and the potatoes tasted like they were drenched in butter. This place has been going downhill for years and today was the last for me. Each visit our meals are never correct leaving one or two having to watch and wait for their meal. Eggs are never fully cooked. Seems as if they rush to much. Fruit bowls are mostly rotten with very few eatables items left. The staff is unfriendly and service is very poor. I never write reviews and started an account just because of how bad this place was. Got here about 1PM, actual closing time is 3PM not 4PM as it is advertised most places. But still plenty of time for lunch. The place was dead, one group of maybe 5 wrapping up and us. The floors, tables and chairs were visibly dirty. We had to ask for a bar towel to get our table clean. Service was atrocious. The gal at the cashier station was very rude. Multiple staff standing around goofing off and it still took us asking for our drinks again and a solid 10 mins or more to get them. We had to ask multiple times to get our entire order. Example: ordered the side salad, came with no dressing, had ordered a side of gravy and had to ask for that again, etc. According to my mom the omelette was good and flavorful but more of a scramble. The potatoes were bland and dry. The orange in the fruit cup isn't even peeled. I ordered the taco salad and they didn't include the avocado. They used so little dressing you couldn't taste it or mix everything up. The bowl was 90% romaine cut so large you couldn't get to anything else. Had to add salsa just to keep it from being dry as the Sahara. The chicken was well cooked and flavorful but they didn't even fully cut the pieces so I was ripping them apart the whole time. It wasn't actually a taco salad at all, more of a Tex-Mex chicken salad and not entree sized for $14. It was a salad, just no taco, a literal ring of tortilla chips along the rim! Frankly the whole place gives off the vibe that they are losing money hand over fist and cutting corners everywhere possible to save a buck.
